About: I grew up surrounded by animals and have always loved caring for and learning about them. Over the years I’ve had many different animals of my own, and I currently have my little dog Kai, who is a very important part of my family. My love for animals has also been influenced by my dad’s work in wildlife conservation, so I’ve grown up with a real appreciation for animals and their individual needs. I’ve also had experience working in a veterinary practice, which I absolutely loved, and I’m now starting my training to become a Student Veterinary Nurse. About: I am a designer who works from home, after always having dogs I miss their company a lot. Instead of getting a dog I decided to host dogs in my house. I live in a cottage in St Austell, tucked away in a quiet part of this seaside town. I have a lovely big garden with sunshine and shade where they can play or potter about. The cottage is cool and quiet and has everything a doggy would need. Your dog will never be left alone as I work here too. I only take one dog at a time or dogs from the same household so they will have a really personal experience that will be tailored to them and their needs. There is a wealth of glorious beaches and river trails only minutes away for playtime, walks and relaxing. I try and make every day like a doggy holiday even if they are only staying a short time. I have owned dogs myself as well as having grown up with one always in the household. I had my last dog from a puppy and fully trained him, we did agility classes together too. I have also owned a rescue dog in the past who I worked closely with a trainer for to understand his body language and his needs so I do have experience with dog behaviour. I work from home during the week so your dog will have lots of 1:1 attention as I need to take regular breaks away from the screen. I always walk in the morning, lunchtime and the end of the day as a way to get outdoors and it’s such a treat to do that alongside a doggy friend. I can offer a pet free, smoke free house with a fenced in garden. Please do bring anything your dog likes along to make them comfortable, maybe a bed and some favourite toys for playtime

About: I began by independently fostering a pregnant cat who I rescued from the streets, providing housing and care throughout her pregnancy and raising her kittens to ensure their health and development. This experience led me to a role at an animal rescue, where I worked for approximately a year caring for rescue cats and dogs, managing all aspects of their care. A key part of this work involved confidence building, to ensure good quality of life. Consistent handling to help the animals feel secure and settle into their new environment. I’m currently working from home so I will be in your dogs/cats company for majority of the day. Typically I do a daily big walk for myself so this is something your dog can potentially join in on. I live in a small studio apartment in the country side with a large garden (not fenced in) lots of land surrounding me, and many nature walks. There are friendly dogs on the property which your dog can befriend depending on your preference for that.

About: I've grown up around dogs, so having muddy paws around the house feels pretty normal to me. My grandad was a well respected vet, which meant I was lucky enough to meet dogs of all breeds, ages and personalities, including plenty of rescue dogs! I have just moved out of my parents house which has meant I no longer have my two beloved border terriers to keep me on my toes! I work from home full time so your dog won’t be left counting down the hours until you’re back. They’ll have plenty of company, lunch time walks and lots of cuddles of course! I work from home full time, so I’m lucky to have plenty of time during the day to look after your furry friend and keep them company! My partner also has a flexible job, which means we would happily adapt to their routine and make sure they are well looked after. I’m active and love spending time outdoors, so getting out for walks is something I really enjoy! Whether they’re up for a longer walk or just a good explore of the local area, I’d love to have them join me and become part of my day. We have a fenced garden with lots of room for your dog to run around and enjoy some outdoor time! There are plenty of walking spaces nearby, including a forest 5 minutes walk away, so there are lots of options for longer walks and shorter strolls. We’re not a strict household, if your dog is allowed on the sofa at home, they’ll be more than welcome to relax on ours too! We’ll always try to keep them to their usual routine and make sure they feel comfortable while they’re with us.

About: I love meeting and looking after dog and puppies, I have a 1 year old puppy myself and know how much they are apart of the family and how hard it can be to find someone to look after them I can walk or drop-in around my work schedule so I would be able to do mainly morning but I do always have Sunday and Monday off every week I have a very playful 1 year old puppy who have had since she was 10 weeks old, we wild not be able at this time to take any dogs home for a long period of time

About: I have taken care dogs since I was 14, training guide dogs, including the family dog and voluntary work which led to paid work for walking neighbours dogs and at a dog kennel walking dogs and cleaning kennels. I have been dogsitting on and off for 16 years and rescued 3 dogs. I have done more regular sits since a friend from church asked me to dog sit, then I used Trustedhousitters as a sitter for 3 years and have done 12 different successful sits of which a few have been asked back, so I also know how to take care of people’s homes and multiple pets in the home. Your dogs will be happy with me and treated like family, they will have play time and rest time and I always stick to the rules that you have set for them and their meal times including what they eat. I would never feed your dog human food or over treat them or punish them. If I am sitting I would take them out for a walk in the local areas up to 3 times a day but they will have plenty of toilet breaks. If I am only walking your dog, I will keep them on the lead and go for as much time as they need. Your dog will be in safe hands with me. I am an at home full-time student, I start my last year in October and finish in May 2027. I will have time to go for dog walks anytime as I can pick my days and times to study. I cannot bring pets into my home currently as my 2 cats are the proud owners but I can meet you for a pick up or take care of a dog at your home

About: I grew up surrounded by animals and have always loved caring for and learning about them. Over the years I’ve had many different animals of my own, and I currently have my little dog Kai, who is a very important part of my family. My love for animals has also been influenced by my dad’s work in wildlife conservation, so I’ve grown up with a real appreciation for animals and their individual needs. I’ve also had experience working in a veterinary practice, which I absolutely loved, and I’m now starting my training to become a Student Veterinary Nurse. I understand that leaving your pet with someone new can feel like a big decision, so I’ll always take the time to understand their routine, personality, likes and any specific needs before looking after them. I’m happy to care for pets in their own home, where they can stay in a familiar and comfortable environment, and I’m also able to welcome pets into my home where appropriate. My own little dog is friendly and used to being around other animals, and I would always make sure any introductions are done carefully and at a pace that is comfortable for everyone. “I left for a much needed trip with my Hudband for 8 days and Anindita treated my dog as her own with love, care , hospitality and total professionalism. She sent us updates regularly and photos and even a few videos ; which relieved our minds of any problems or quirks with our dog Jimi . We have a sensitive dog with a quirky tummy at times and Anindita went above and beyond to help him with some special dietary assistance. She is the best sitter I have ever had and as a special act of kindness ; she gave our dog a little birthday celebration with s video ; since we could not make it back home until the day after his special day . I highly recommend her and her dear husband was very kind with my doggie as well.
