“We were so grateful to find Tracie when we needed local help while in Cornwall for work. Our dog clearly had a wonderful time with her, and we really appreciated all the updates throughout. It was clear that our dog enjoyed all the fun and experiences she had during her stay. River (Tracie's dog) is such a lovely dog and we loved seeing them play and it was so nice for our dog to have a furry companion for a few days. Tracie’s communication was super clear, and we felt completely at ease knowing Annie was in such good hands. Thank you so much, Tracie! x”

“Very happy with Herbie’s care this evening. Herbie was very nervous when we arrived and I worried that he might not settle but Laura slowly won him around with her kind and gentle approach. When we went to collect him he was clearly happy and relaxed I really appreciated the photos that Laura sent through the evening which put my mind at rest. Thankyou Laura for a positive experience.”

“We would highly recommend Olivia. We left our puppy Cashew for a week and we were given daily updates including photos and videos. He is a 4 month old puppy, and so has plenty of energy. Olivia spent the time with him, adding to his training . We were worried that he was having so much fun with Olivia, Max and Ripley that he would not want to return home with us. Happy to say he settled quickly once home.”

“I was worried about Winston going away as he rarely goes anywhere. Mark and Fee allowed us to visit first and made me feel far more relaxed and reassured. Winston was more than happy to stay with them and calm and happy when we picked him up. They updated me to let me know he was ok. Highly recommended, thanks Mark”

“Sophie was amazing with my 2 dogs. One suffers with bad separation anxiety. I got updates daily and both boys loved their time with Sophie and Spencer. “Hannah & Jordan took such wonderful care of Woody, he has had a brilliant time with multiple walks per day in different locations, swims, brushes and cozy sofa time and cuddles. We felt really bad that we couldn't bring Woody away with us and were nervous leaving him but Hannah & Jordan sent us lots of photos and messages each day. They were also flexible when we were delayed by an hour. It feels as though Woody has had a holiday and has been so well cared for! We would definitely recommend Hannah & Jordan.”

About: The cat in the photo is Tiger Lily and she is technically my sister's cat but she's more just an additional member of the family and head of the house. My Cats Protection rescue, Suki, died years ago, she was old when I adopted her but we had 3 lovely years together. And in Hove I was gifted live mice which are tricky to catch once they're in the house but the boys were clearly testing my hunting skills. Currently available 24/7 due to a slipped disc! Feel free to leave your dog with me for company during the day, although I can't take them for a walk at present, I can have them on lead in the court yard for a sniff about and a wee. I am naturally intuitive with animals and enjoy gaining their trust at their pace. Currently very restricted with services offered due to a slipped disc.

About: I’ve had cats all my life, and caring for them has always been a central part of who I am. Over the years, this lifelong experience has grown into a genuine passion not only for cats but for animals of all kinds. I understand how much they enrich our lives and how important it is to provide them with attentive, compassionate care. My experience spans all stages of a cat’s life, from raising young kittens to supporting senior cats with more complex needs. I’m comfortable handling the unique challenges that come with each stage, whether that’s socialising and nurturing kittens or providing patience and comfort to older cats. I’ve cared for both indoor and outdoor cats and am familiar with the differences in their routines, safety considerations, and enrichment needs. I also have a solid understanding of dietary requirements, from standard feeding routines to more specific nutritional needs, as well as basic medical care, including administering medication and recognising when a cat may need veterinary attention. Above all, I aim to provide a safe, loving, and stress-free environment where every cat feels comfortable and well cared for.

About: Family cats and cat sitting has taught me to love the unique way of cats. I love to make sure they are looked after and have enough attention depending on their preferences! I have 2 cats of my own currently.

“Millie was so good and kept us fully informed and sent us Lovely Photos too. What a really Nice Girl and Billy appeared to enjoy the attention he got from her. “Bryony took very good care of our three cats. She ensured that they were fed and watered and kept us updated on how they were. Bryony is a very friendly and pleasant person to deal with. We would thoroughly recommend her. (And as first time app users we found the system of notifications to be very good).”

I follow their usual routines as closely as possible to reduce stress — from feeding and sleeping schedules to playtime and quiet moments. My home is pet-safe, with secure outdoor space, and I only board a small number of animals at once to ensure individual attention and a peaceful atmosphere. I also carry out careful meet-and-greets beforehand to make sure each pet is a good fit for the home environment. In the Pet Owner’s Home: When visiting or staying in a pet’s own home, I treat it with the same care and respect I would my own. I stick to the owner’s instructions closely, ensuring pets feel safe and relaxed in their familiar surroundings. I always take time to build trust with the animals I care for, using gentle, positive approaches to make each interaction reassuring and enjoyable. In both settings, I’m fully insured, DBS checked, and trained in pet first aid. “As we live in a quiet village it was lovely to leave Frank for dog-sitting in such a rural location. Mark and Fee obviously love dogs and were very welcoming. Frank was very happy when we picked him up and obviously enjoyed his long walk. Would definitely have no worries leaving Frank for a longer stay (if they would have him back!)”

“Esther and her family were lovely and Suzie had a great time. Suzie was made to feel at home and had a lovely long walk. Very convenient for visiting the Eden project! Would book again if we are ever in the area again.”

“Kristina was brilliant - kindly looking after Sheila while she was on heat (and not taking any other bookings as a result). Kristina sent through photos of Sheila enjoying her day walking with some other dogs and having some well earned rest at Kristina’s house. I felt very comfortable leaving Sheila with Kristina - she is very knowledgable and kind.”

“An absolute 5-star experience! Having recently moved to the Bodmin area, it was incredibly daunting to look for a new sitter for our beloved and pampered dog, Barley. However, meeting Terry and Susan (Megan's parents) beforehand completely put our minds at ease as they would be looking after him on the day. Barley spent the day with them yesterday whilst we attended our daughter's graduation in Exeter, and we could not have asked for better care. They looked after him brilliantly, treated him like one of the family, and sent us lovely picture updates which we really appreciated. Terry and Susan made us feel so comfortable and reassured from start to finish. Barley loved his cuddles with Terry (The Dog Whisperer). We are incredibly grateful to have found such caring, trustworthy sitters locally and will definitely be booking with them again!”

“Gus has had a wonderful time with Louise and her partner we can't thank her enough! When we collected Gus he seemed really calm and responsive like he's been on his own little retreat from his family. Louise communicated really well and let me no everything that Gus was getting up to including finding out about Gus's needs.”

“Chelle was an absolute dream to have as a dog sitter - we got to do a virtual meet beforehand of the humans and dogs, I got updates, photos and videos throughout the day which was so reassuring and I came back to a very hapoy dog. Very clear that Chelle knows what she is doing and cares about the pups. Will definitely be looking to book in again when I'm down :D”

“Liv is absolutely incredible, we are so lucky to have found her for looking after Arlo. We needed a sitter last minute for Arlo and Liv was able to have him for the day. She is so brilliant with him, and her dog Ripley is incredibly tolerant and kind with my very playful and can be annoying dog! We have booked Liv already for our holiday and weekend away this year, Arlo is so happy there and we get lots of lovely videos of him playing and snuggling up for a nap! Would 100% recommend Liv, Max and Ripley, we are so glad we found them.”

“Altogether a fantastic experience. Georgie provided excellent care for our lovely girls. Nala was an excellent friend to our doggies too. We couldn't be more pleased and would strongly recommend Georgie to any dog owners looking for pet care. Thank you so much.”

“So happy with the dog walking service provided by Alex. He has been very flexible when it comes to availability at short notice and arrival times etc. We have a large, powerful husky but that didn’t phase him at all. He is very friendly and reassuring and our dog seemed to really enjoy going out for walks with him. He would send me a message when he was on his way to us and send photos of her, while they were out. I will definitely be booking him in the future and would certainly recommend him to others 🙂 Thanks Alex 👍”

About: I have taken care dogs since I was 14, training guide dogs, including the family dog and voluntary work which led to paid work at a dog kennel walking dogs and cleaning kennels. I have been dogsitting on and off for 16 years and rescued 3 dogs. I have done more regular sits since a friend from church asked me to dog sit, then I used Trustedhousitters as a sitter for 3 years and have done 12 successful sits of which a few have been asked back, so I also know how to take care in people’s homes and multiple pets in the home. Your dogs will be happy with me and treated like one of the family, they will have play time and rest time and I always stick to the rules that you have set for them and their meal times including what they eat. I would never feed your dog human food or over treat them or punish them. I would also love to take them out for a walk in the local areas up to 3 times a day but they will have plenty of toilet breaks. If I am only walking your dog, I will keep them on the lead and go for as much time as they need. Your dog will be in safe hands with me. I am an at home full-time student, I start my last year in October and finish in May 2027. I will have time to go for dog walks anytime as I can pick my days and times to study. I cannot bring pets into my home currently as my 2 cats are the proud owners but I can meet you for a pick up or take care of a dog at your home

About: My experience with just dealing with pets is having my own animals from young. I've had fish, hamster, guinea pigs and dogs. My first dog was a rescued Boxer, Ruben. My first proper puppy was a Pug, Dexter, then we rescued Alfie another Pug at the same age as Dexter (around 4yrs.) My house sitting and pet experience was living in an annexe above my landladys garage. She had a working cocker, Zeva. She'd trust me with looking after her house and Zeva while she had to go away for work or on holiday. That was over 2yrs of me living there. I even took Zeva away with my boyfriend and I as we went to Bournemouth for a weekend I was looking after her. We got a pet friendly accomodation and she had the best time on the beach and in the sea playing with her ball. I work 3 days a week, so have plenty of time for sitting and walking pets. I like to walk daily, so dog walking is well suited with my lifestyle. I care for pets in an owners home by communicating with the owners in the first instance to see what responsibilities they expect of their sitter to make sure their animals are in perfect care.
About: What sets me apart is the genuine love and care I give every dog as if they were my own. With a calm home, an active daily routine, and plenty of one-on-one attention, I create a safe, happy environment where dogs feel relaxed and loved. I’m reliable, flexible, and treat every dog’s unique needs with care and patience—because they deserve nothing less As someone who works from home and enjoys an active lifestyle, pet sitting fits perfectly into my routine. I start each day with a walk, so having a dog by my side just makes it better! I’m out and about often—whether it’s longer walks, playtime in the garden, or just cosy company while I work. Your dog gets lots of attention, exercise, and love throughout the day, and I get a happy little shadow to share it with. They will also have a lovely little friend to play with, my spaniel Max. In my home, dogs are treated like part of the family. They’ll enjoy a large, secure garden for playtime and fresh air, plus the company of my friendly dog for socialising and companionship. About: As a passionate animal enthusiast, I’m dedicated to giving every pet the love and attention they deserve. Living and working in the heart of Cornwall, I’m lucky to be surrounded by stunning beaches, countryside, and trails — the perfect setting for enriching dog walks and outdoor adventures. I provide professional, compassionate care with a focus on your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness. I never do pack walks, ensuring a calm and enjoyable experience tailored to each dog’s personality and needs. Whether it’s energetic puppies, anxious dogs, or senior pets needing gentle care, I adapt each walk or visit accordingly. As your local dog walker, sitter, and boarder, I offer flexible and personalised services including: • One-to-one or small group dog walks • Home boarding in a safe, loving environment • Pet sitting and pop-in visits for all animals I’m fully insured, DBS checked, and trained in pet first aid — giving you total peace of mind while you’re away. I also love meeting new pets and their owners to create a custom care plan that fits perfectly with your routine. Let’s chat and see how I can help make your pet’s day a little brighter! Pet care is a core part of my daily and weekly routine — not just a job, but a lifestyle I truly love. Each day is planned around the needs of the pets I care for, whether that’s morning walks along the Cornish coast, midday pop-in visits, or evening cuddles for pets staying with me overnight. I build my schedule with plenty of time and flexibility to give every animal my full attention and care. No two days are the same, which is what I enjoy most. From active dogs needing long countryside walks, to older pets who prefer a slower pace and some quiet companionship, I make sure each pet gets the right level of care, stimulation, and love. Weekly, I also spend time checking in with pet owners, updating care plans, and continuing my learning in animal behaviour and first aid. Being fully committed to this work means pets are never an afterthought — they’re at the heart of how I organise my life. Whether pets are staying in my home or I’m caring for them in theirs, safety, comfort, and trust are at the heart of everything I do. In My Home: I create a calm, secure, and loving environment where pets feel like part of the family. I keep open communication with pet owners through regular updates, photos, and check-ins — so they feel confident and reassured while they’re away.

About: I’ve grown up around animals and have always had dogs in my life. I currently have three dogs of my own, so I’m very comfortable handling different personalities, energy levels and routines. While I’m new to dog walking professionally, I’m used to daily walks, feeding routines, basic training and making sure dogs get the exercise and attention they need. I understand how important it is for owners to know their dogs are safe and well cared for. I offer one-on-one dog walks, taking dogs on local countryside routes. Walks are 30–60 minutes, giving each dog safe, supervised exercise and attention. I schedule multiple walks per day and can accommodate several dogs. I treat every dog as if they were my own. I currently care for three dogs, so I understand different personalities and routines. I will provide safe walks and follow any instructions from the owner to keep their pets happy and secure.

Thank you so much, Tracie! x”

She was attentive, understanding and I managed to feel safe knowing they were with her. She definitely helped my anxious dog come out of his shell a lot more, so will definitely book with her again.”
