Day care & boarding in Plymouth
We have both had and been around dogs our entire lives. Our families had Alsatian’s when we were young and then Basset Hounds, which we continued with until we lost our last one a few years ago. We decided that we would not replace him and having previously offered a dog sitting service for friends and colleagues for a number of years, we decided to open this service up. In our first year with Rover we were based in South East Cornwall but have now moved to Plymouth. We have beautiful walks on our doorstep, including the South West Coast path, Saltram House and the Historic Barbican. We have a Victorian Terraced house with a small but fully walled in garden. We can cater for all sizes. I work locally and my partner works from home. Your pet will be part of our family whilst you are away. Come and meet us and see what you think!

Myself and my pup had a meeting with Mark beforehand, got on well, very welcoming, friendly and obviously loves animals. has a lovely place in a beautiful area and good space for pets to run around, Days later I dropped off my pup as arranged and also met another member of his family, On picking up my pup later, he obviously had a good time Mark updated me on the days events, and said pup was running around and interacting well with them, Mark and his family said he was a joy to look after, which is nice to hear, Would recommend Mark if you are looking for a sitter for your pet.
As we live in a quiet village it was lovely to leave Frank for dog-sitting in such a rural location. Mark and Fee obviously love dogs and were very welcoming. Frank was very happy when we picked him up and obviously enjoyed his long walk. Would definitely have no worries leaving Frank for a longer stay (if they would have him back!)
From pre stay to during and post daycare Mark and Fee were amazing, putting my mind at rest, with great f communicatiin, offer of updates during the day and time to chat on pick up. Nelson was settled from the get go. Great facilities too
Our boys were so happy and looked after perfectly. We had regular pup-dates and treated as part of the family. We will definitely use them again in the future if possible.
I was worried about Winston going away as he rarely goes anywhere. Mark and Fee allowed us to visit first and made me feel far more relaxed and reassured. Winston was more than happy to stay with them and calm and happy when we picked him up. They updated me to let me know he was ok. Highly recommended, thanks Mark
Reggie had a lovely time and came back very happy from his time with Mark. He had lots of space to roam and we got frequent updates.

Schedule
I work locally on a mixed shift arrangement and my partner works from home. We are generally always around but if we don’t think that we can offer the same level of care that we would have expected one of our dogs to receive, we won’t accept the booking

A typical day
We live in Cattedown which is an area in Plymouth which has direct access to the South West Coast path and therefore has fantastic walks nearby. We are a short drive from the less touristy beaches just along the coast which can be lovely for the less confident dog or we are a short walk from the Historic Barbican for those that are more sociable.
