I’ve grown up around both cats and dogs and have over 13 years of hands-on experience caring for my family’s golden retriever, whom I’ve looked after from puppyhood through to her senior years. This has included supporting her through surgery, managing recovery, and providing attentive care as she’s aged and become more fragile. I’m experienced with all aspects of dog care, including daily walks, bathing, feeding, administering medication, and giving plenty of attention and affection. I’ve also cared for dogs both privately and professionally, looking after pets for family friends as well as clients, always ensuring their routines, needs, and comfort are maintained while their owners are away. I’m confident working with dogs of all ages, breeds, and sizes, from energetic puppies to senior dogs who may require extra patience and support. I adapt easily to each dog’s individual personality and routine, and I’m comfortable managing specific needs or special instructions to ensure every pet feels safe, happy, and well cared for.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I can’t recommend Julia highly enough! ❤️ Hildi felt completely at home during her stay, and it was obvious she was loved, well cared for, and treated like part of the family. Knowing she was in such wonderful hands gave me complete peace of mind while I was away. I was especially grateful that Julia was able to help me out at such short notice. I urgently needed boarding because of an important family event abroad, and she went above and beyond to accommodate us. That meant the world to me. I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better dog sitter or boarding experience. If you want to be absolutely certain that your dog is in the best possible hands while you’re away, I can wholeheartedly recommend Julia. She genuinely cares for every dog as if they were her own. Julia had my dog at short notice after I was let down. I had never used Rover before so was unsure but after meeting Julia the doubts left. My dog is an older dog and she was calm and relaxed which really helped, she sent regular updates and he took to her really well and settled in for his weekend stay. He was walked regularly and I had complete confidence that he was safe and happy with Julia. Communication was clear and flexible I would recommend her to anyone.

Julia was amazing, super quick to respond and really reassuring throughout. You could tell Kanan had a great time! She kept me updated with plenty of photos. I’d definitely recommend Julia if you’re looking for someone to look after your furry friend 😊

Schedule
I’m currently working bank staff, which means I’m very flexible. I have a lot of spare time and I’m free any time of day or night, even on short notice. If you prefer to pick your dog up early in the morning or late at night, that’s completely okay.

I live in a house shared with close friends while attending university, creating a calm, friendly, and stable environment for pets. We have a fully fenced garden that’s ideal for quick and safe toilet breaks. The house is also conveniently located near a park, making it easy to provide regular walks and outdoor enrichment. I’m committed to ensuring pets feel comfortable, secure, and well cared for while in my home.

A typical day
A typical day will be full of love, attention, treats, and plenty of walks. I’m an active person myself, so your pup will be well entertained throughout the day. With the nearest park just two minutes away, there’ll be lots of opportunities for exercise, play, and fresh air. Whether your dog prefers to chill or stay busy, there will be plenty of stimulation and activities to suit their needs.
