About: We like dogs that are active and love getting outside as we walk and wild swim a lot. We have a very friendly 5-year old neutered male Sprolly (Border Collie / Springer Spaniel) called Billie and an older male cat. Any dog we look after must get on with our pets so a 'meet and greet' is a must prior to staying with us. Prior to Billie, my wife had a German Shepherd/Border Collie cross called Errol for 17 years. We also from time to time look after our daughter's dog Luna, a female Fox Lab, when she is away. I am retired from teaching but have a part-time job that occupies me 10-15 hours per week, mostly on Tuesdays and Wednesdays but am pretty flexible. I normally have Mondays and Fridays off. My wife works 4 days per week and has Mondays off so there is usually one of us at home or close to home as I work only a mile away. At least one of us is home in the evenings and at weekends although we do go away for the weekend sometimes. We have a small 3-bedroomed house with a small but lovely, enclosed back garden. We have a grass area outside our front door which is not enclosed. We have Billie, our 5-year old Sprollie (a neutered male) and an older male cat. Both have access to the whole house except we tend to keep the spare bedroom door closed so the animals don't go in there. Billie sleeps downstairs in his bed when all the lights have been put out, and the cat (who comes and goes via a cat flap) sleeps where he likes! Billie always gets walked first thing in the morning before 8.00 a.m. for about 20 minutes and then usually twice more (or once more if we do a long walk on Dartmoor).

About: I’ve had dogs since I was a child and regularly take care of friend’s doggos! I am comfortable looking after all breeds and all needs! I work part time so am free all day on a Monday to cuddle with your pups! I live close to Dartmoor so there are lots of great walks nearby for them to enjoy! I have a safe fenced garden in a quiet area. I am experienced in taking care of many different types of dogs and making sure they are comfortable in my home. I am free mostly on weekends but often I am available during the week/evenings - please contact me if you have any questions at all! Disclaimer - I appreciate being told if you are running late to collect your pet - if you are late then I will modify the booking to reflect this.

About: I have taken care of many dog types of all ages from Dachshunds and Chihuahua’s to Golden Retrievers, Whippets, Spaniels and plenty of Terriers! Each dog I have looked after has had different requirements. I pride myself on ensuring I meet these requirements whilst make the dog feel as comfortable as possible. I work from home two days of the, meaning I can easily integrate your dog with our daily routines, whilst also meeting all unique needs. On weekends we go on coastal path walks so your dog will likely be stretching their legs on scenic routes. We have an enclosed spacious garden. We do not live anywhere near main roads and live on a quiet street. We are close to lots of greenery so great walking options right on our doorstep.

We are happy to work on our garden all weekend if your dog prefers to stay at home. We live in a converted old farm with a large, private garden that features secure, all-round dog-proof fencing. It’s a peaceful, safe space where your dog can stretch their legs, play, or relax outside while we do a bit of gardening. We also have access to a large communal field where other dogs are sometimes walked. We can take your dog to socialise in this field if you would like.
