“Octavia was brilliant. I hadn't left my dogs for this amount of time before and we met Octavia and Storm prior to us leaving and she really put my mind as ease. It was obvious she knew what she was doing and I knew my boys were in great hands - plus my boys got on very well with Storm which was great. Had lots of daily updates, photos and videos and she always responded quickly if I had any questions. My boys had an amazing time and I don't think they wanted to leave! We would definitely use her again if the opportunity was there and id highly recommend her to anyone. Her house is gorgeous and the location is fantastic - every dogs dream!”

About: I’ve had dogs since I was a child and regularly take care of friend’s doggos! I am comfortable looking after all breeds and all needs! I work part time so am free all day on a Monday to cuddle with your pups! I live close to Dartmoor so there are lots of great walks nearby for them to enjoy! I have a safe fenced garden in a quiet area. I am experienced in taking care of many different types of dogs and making sure they are comfortable in my home. About: I've always been a bit dog obsessed from a young age and have had a number of dogs myself, including an English Setter rescue from Croatia who'd never lived in a home before & was anxious around many dogs, excluding my lovely Labradoodle, who was his safety blanket, so a lot of love, patience & training was required to give him his best final years of life. I currently have an extremely friendly & sociable Clumber Spaniel X bitch, 16 months old who loves life & would welcome any dog in her home for a day or sleepover/s. So, recent experience of older dogs who just want comfort, company, cuddles & a short stroll to a manic puppy who didn't have an off switch...which I've since found! I live within walking distance to fields & the coastline & work from home with a secure garden so can offer your dog a little holiday whilst you can enjoy yours guilt free knowing that they are happy too! I currently work part time from home, apart from Thursdays when I volunteer for Animals in Distress for 4hrs, so have plenty of time for walks & play time. I have a fenced in secure garden & have a large crate available for your dog if they feel more secure in a crate and they can enjoy the company of my very well socialised dog Clemmie. Should I ever need to pop out I have a Blink camera so that I can always keep eyes on!

About: I have two adopted animals from rescue and one girl I’ve had from a puppy. My eldest has medication and specific washing requirements so I’m used to doing that. I drive so can facilitate vet appointments if needed as required. I work from home, so can work to suit schedules and be near animals as required. I have smaller dogs myself which we can separate if this is something your animal isn’t used to. Having animals myself I understand often complex needs and requirements and can adjust to fit various circumstances as needed. I can familiarise myself with any routine required, and happy to attend beforehand as needed to speak to the owner. I was previously an estate agent, so understand how to lock property safely and take care of the owners space and privacy. I would like to think I am reliable and trustworthy such that it can be one worry less during busy times in your schedule.

About: I have had dogs my whole life, having been brought up in the countryside with collies. My gorgeous labrador, Storm, is playful and very loving and comes first in every decision I make! I am incredibly passionate about dog welfare and nutrition and always strive to give them the best quality of life. I have always looked after my friends’ and family’s dogs and am proud of the trust they have in me for this. I work full time but fully remote, so I will always be at home to keep an eye on the doggos and have long walks at least twice a day, with toilet breaks whenever needed! I have a fully fenced garden for regular toilet breaks and perfect for dogs to lounge in good weather with lots of shade too. The house is very safe and I have plenty of dog beds dotted around for whichever space your dog best prefers!
About: I've been around dogs most of my life and have owned several dogs. My most recent dog, a Springer Spaniel, was with me for 13 years. Since he passed, I have looked after several of my friend's dogs. I am also registered with Guide Dogs as a Puppy Fosterer and have looked after lots of their dogs as well. We take 2-3 daily walks on the footpaths, coastal paths and beaches of the area, and your dog will have access to our enclosed garden and plenty of toys. I work part-time from home, so I'm always around and am easily able to schedule in some play time and plenty of exercise. We have an enclosed garden and enclosed rear courtyard. Your dog will have access to their own spot in the house if he or she wants some quiet time away from any other dogs. About: I've had dogs in my life since I was 12. I'm currently not able to have my own but adore dogs and love the thought of helping someone in the Buckfastleigh and Ashburton area with theirs. I've done some sits for people through the House sitters website (last one was a Cockapoo) and also looked after my brother's Border Collie and my in-law's Lurchers so have experience with different size dogs. As I work from home most of the week and often go for walks in the morning, lunchtime, or evening after work. I'm here all day so can tend to a dog's needs. I can also easily nip out to walk your dog if needed. I don't have a garden but have some lovely walks in the area. If they're happy to sit at home on the sofa or a dog bed most of the day then my place is perfect. If I was coming to you during the day that would work too.

About: I have had dogs snd cats since I was little. I have looked after and walked people’s dogs since I was 18 and I love bonding with different breeds and ages of dogs. I currently live with my partner and his family and we have 6 of our own dogs…we’re a bit dog mad! They also do dog sitting and walking, so I have a lot of experience! I have always had dogs, and trained Lennie along with some of his doggo friends. I would love to be able to care for more doggos! I have had multiple dogs stay before and had a great time. I currently have flexibility, whether that’s needing a house dog sitter or walks Monday - Sunday. Lennie can join for walks or I can walk your dog separately. Lennie also doesn’t have to come for overnight stays if preferred no other dog to be there. I am good at noticing dogs behaviours, and having Lennie the place is set up for dogs! All food far away from access, tons of water bowls and fenced garden. Lennie is very good with other dogs in the house, and if I noticed a doggo feeling anxious or unwell I would straight away notify and make sure they are as comfortable as they can be.

“Such a great sitter! Rhys is so flexible and great at replying quickly to make arrangements for our long distance doggy daycare whilst e visited family nearby. Scout seemed at home and well cared for. I’m sure scout will be back again next time we’re down this way”

“Hannah & Jordan took such wonderful care of Woody, he has had a brilliant time with multiple walks per day in different locations, swims, brushes and cozy sofa time and cuddles. We felt really bad that we couldn't bring Woody away with us and were nervous leaving him but Hannah & Jordan sent us lots of photos and messages each day. They were also flexible when we were delayed by an hour. It feels as though Woody has had a holiday and has been so well cared for! We would definitely recommend Hannah & Jordan.”

“Morgan helped us out last minute with our 8 month old puppy. He has had the best time! She sent some lovely photos, gave him a proper little holiday, popped on some relaxing sounds to settle him at night. Woody was really well taken care of and has come back knackered and happy all of which has made leaving him for the first time so much more stress free! Lovely home and partner, great environment for a puppy, great communication and really accommodating - couldn’t ask for more. Thoroughly recommend!!”
