Pet care experience
“Dogs are better than Humans” - R.G
I have worked with a wide range of animals from elephants to hamsters - but dogs as a speciality. I worked as a volunteer in south africa where i worked with both wild animals and abused/abandoned pets - which were mainly dogs. Back home I have worked with many dogs of many different breeds and ages, a few had physical, dietary and behavioural issues - all of which i was happy to take on and help. I have also studied science and math - more specifically Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Math A-levels - and am officially a Zoology Uni Student - which im hoping to use to peruse a career in animal care. I am also a very sporty person - so runs, very long walks or simply just some needed movement is very easily done ! Growing up around animals was the best part of my childhood and i am sure to carry that into the rest of my life, anywhere i can help i am happy to do so!

I have worked with many breeds of dogs with very different personalities - hyper and cuddly or shy and unpredictable. I have worked in lots of different houses, where i respect the property and ensure it is clean and cared for along with the pets.

Emily came to visit my two dogs twice before sitting for me for 7 nights. They became friends instantly, including one of my dogs who can be slightly more weary of new people. She made them feel very comfortable and showed interest in my routine with them, in order to maintain this. I came home to two happy, well looked after and well exercised dogs. Would recommend Emily!
Emily was absolutely lovely and fitted us in at very short notice, amazing service!!!

Emily was great! Firstly, she left my house cleaner than I did but most importantly, my pets were so cared for! I got videos and notes and I think the pets had a better holiday than I did😂 I met Emily’s family too and the pets just gravitated towards them all… always a good sign. Thank you!🥰
Emily was great. She was available short notice for us after a friend wasn’t able to look after our cat and she really helped us out. Excellent communication, flexible in terms of our pets needs, attentive and caring. Will definitely use again :)

Schedule
I have recently moved to UK from mallorca - an island off of spain - and i am currently in my gap year. I am not working at the moment so pet care fits anywhere in my daily routine.
