When caring for pets in my home or in the owner’s home, I prioritise safety, trust, and a comfortable environment at all times. Safety: I ensure doors, gates, and outdoor areas are secure, remove any potential hazards, and carefully follow feeding, walking, and medication instructions. I pay close attention to behaviour and body language to make sure pets feel comfortable and stress-free. Trust: I understand that leaving a pet with someone requires confidence and reassurance. I maintain clear communication with owners, provide updates if requested, and respect the home and routines exactly as instructed. Reliability and honesty are very important to me. Environment: Whether in my home or the owner’s, I aim to create a calm, clean, and positive atmosphere. I stick to the pet’s usual routine as much as possible to reduce anxiety and help them feel at ease. I also make sure they receive plenty of affection, exercise, and attention. My goal is always to make pets feel safe, loved, and secure while giving owners complete peace of mind. 🐾

We recently went away for a week and left Irene to look after our house, dog, and cat, and we honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Irene was fantastic from start to finish. She kept us updated multiple times a day with messages and photos of the pets, which really helped us feel comfortable and reassured while we were away. It was clear that our pets were in very capable and caring hands throughout the entire stay. Not only did Irene take amazing care of our dog and cat, but she also looked after the house brilliantly. We came home to a lovely clean and tidy house, and Irene had even put fresh bedding on for us before we arrived home, which was such a thoughtful touch after a long day of travelling. We would highly recommend Irene to anyone looking for a reliable, trustworthy, and caring house and pet sitter. We’ll definitely be using Irene again for future holidays. Thank you again, Irene!
Irene did a great job walking my two dogs, Athena and Fenty on multiple occasions .They were happy and well cared for throughout the walk!
Irene was really good with my Rottweiler, Madara. He loved going on walks with her and always came back super excited yet calm after their walks. Would highly recommend her if u want ur dog having fun and feeling safe and secure.
I’m very selective about who I leave my dogs with. I have a Cane Corso and a 15 year old Lhasa Apso, so it’s not a simple situation. One is big, strong, and needs someone confident around large breeds. The other is older, slower, and needs patience and extra care. Irene handled both of them really well. Before I left, she took the time to understand their routine, feeding schedule, walks, and the small things that keep them comfortable. My Cane Corso warmed up to her quickly, which told me a lot. She was calm and confident with him, not nervous or unsure. With my Lhasa Apso, she was gentle and patient. At his age, he needs a bit more attention, and she made sure he was eating properly, comfortable, and looked after without rushing anything. While I was away, she kept me updated with quick messages and photos, which gave me peace of mind. When I got back, both dogs were relaxed, healthy, and clearly well cared for. That’s the main thing for me. I didn’t have to worry. Irene is reliable, responsible, and genuinely cares about the animals she looks after. I’d trust her with my dogs again without hesitation.

Schedule
Pet care fits perfectly into my current schedule as I am fully available and have a flexible routine. I am currently not working, which allows me to dedicate consistent time and attention to the pets in my care without distractions. I also maintain an active lifestyle and regularly go to the gym, which means I have the energy and stamina needed for longer walks, active dogs, and maintaining engaging routines. Overall, I can offer reliable availability, flexibility, and committed care. 🐾

- It’s important to know a pet’s health and medical needs, like if they take medication, have allergies, or chronic conditions. Lastly, make sure you have emergency contacts, like the vet’s info and what to do if something goes wrong.
