About: I've been around dogs for as long as I can remember, growing up with them from birth and owning my own for the past 15 years. From the age of 10, I was walking dogs for neighbours and local families, which gave me early hands on experience and a real love of caring for dogs of all ages, breeds and personalities. I have trained a number of dogs including my own dogs and feel confident supporting a wide range of needs, from energetic puppies who need plenty of stimulation to older dogs who enjoy a gentler pace and extra cuddles. We are a very animal loving family made up of myself, my husband and our daughter, who has grown up around animals and understands how to be kind, gentle and respectful with them. Our home offers a genuine home from home environment where dogs are treated as part of the family. We share our home with Rosie, our 14 year old Collie x Poodle, Daisy, our 1 year old Labrador Retriever and our 16 year old Cat Bella who tends to keep herself to herself. As you'll see from the photos, they are very happy, friendly dogs and a huge part of our family. They both enjoy the company of other dogs and are used to sharing their space. We have a secure, good sized garden for safe outdoor play and love exploring the beautiful North Devon countryside, beaches and woodland walks. Whether your dog enjoys adventures, games or simply relaxing at home, we'll make sure they feel happy, comfortable and well cared for. Both my husband and I between us ensure one of us work from home each day of the week, which means dogs in our care have company and supervision for the vast majority of the day. Aside from short school runs or quick errands, someone is usually at home. If your dog is unable to be left alone, please get in touch as we can often accommodate this too. I know how important it is to feel completely confident that your pet is safe, happy and loved while you're away. Whether you're heading off on holiday, need regular daycare, or are visiting North Devon and want to enjoy an activity where dogs can't join, we would be delighted to help. Any dog staying with us will be treated as an honorary member of the family, with plenty of affection, attention and care. I'm also happy to provide regular updates and photos, so you can relax knowing your dog is having a wonderful time. As a dog owner, I use pet sitters myself when we travel, so I completely understand how difficult it can feel leaving your dog with someone new. We both work from home, meaning your dog will have company and supervision for the vast majority of the time (around 95%), aside from short periods such as school runs or quick errands. We always prioritise being with any dog in our care, ensuring they feel settled, safe and never left for long periods. If they could not be left we can also work with this! I understand how important it is to feel your pet is safe and happy, whether you’re away on holiday or just need support during the day. If a working day our dogs get 2 - 3 walks a day from 30 minutes to 45 minutes in a range of different settings. We can meet any timetable for feeding required. I have a fenced garden and 2 friendly dogs that will support in keeping your pup entertained and engaged in games (they love tug of war and ball games!) and lots of cuddles and fuss throughout the day. We live in a quiet estate. We also can offer quiet area’s of the house if they need a little downtime to themselves where we can sit with them if required away from our pups.

“I can’t quite express how thrilled and thankful we are to have found Julia! She’s everything we could ask for in a sitter and our little dog, Heidi had the best time! She was warm and friendly, and loved and cared for Heidi as if she was her own. Communication was excellent - she sent lots of pictures and updates, and responded quickly to messages. When we first met Julia at our meet and greet, she asked lots of questions and took the time to really get to know Heidi and us. Nothing was too much trouble and she went above and beyond to make Heidi comfortable in her home. She even gave us a tour of her property so that we’d have an idea of where Heidi would be hanging out. Knowing that our girl was in such good hands made it easy for us to relax on our trip, and we didn’t worry about her once. “We were staying in Bude, and while visiting Cornwall wanted to do some activities where dogs are not allowed. At first we found it difficult to search for doggy day care and then we came across Rover and Dale's Doggy Day Care. We were nervous to leave our dog, Wafer with a stranger, in an area we didn't know. Dale was very welcoming and accommodating with drop-off and pick-up times. Our dog is very friendly, however at first seemed a bit nervous to meet Rex, Dayle's dog. Dale took the time to help Wafer settle in and within minutes of us leaving we received pictures of our dog enjoying the place. The second day, Wafer was still a little bit nervous to stay, which didn't help us feel good about leaving him for another day. Dale was quickly on the case to help him settle again and the videos we received showed us how happy Wafer was, once we left. Of course, as always, noone is as happy to see you as your dog! Wafer was happy to be back with us and tired, ready to relax, which was great for us 👍🏼 Wafer's profile picture on Rover is one of the photos we received from Dale ❤️ We would thoroughly recommend Dale's Doggy Day Care and left his details with our campsite!”

You can be assured that your pet will have all my attention. I work flexibly part time remotely with occasional telephone calls of no more than an hour. About: I'm a qualified dog walker and pet sitter. I have qualified in level 2 animal care, level 2 vet nursing and level 3 pet first aid. I have grown up with a variety of different types of pets. I have been working with dogs for the last 8 years. I work with your pets during the day and then I have an evening job that is 3 hours and not related to animals. The evening job is near my home, so I will only do it if I'm on local sits. I will put your dogs in a crate or a safe room in the house, if I'm going out to the shops. I make sure outside space is safe for your pet.
About: I’ve been around dogs all my life. My family are all dog crazy. My moms had dogs since I was a child and still does till this day. So I know what it’s like to look after our best four legged friends. Myself and Scott live in a detached 4 bed bungalow in Devon. We have acres of private land where we walk and exercise Rex daily. Rex our beautiful boy fox Rex lab loves dogs and thrives with other four legged friends. He will be 2 in November 2026 and his bring so much joy to our life’s. I am stay home husband whilst my partner Scott runs a big cow dairy. I am home 7 days a week so your dog will get the best care and attention throughout there stay with us. I am experienced with keeping on top of medication if your dog requires and happy to be instructed for what your dog needs to ensure it’s the best and positive experience whilst on holiday with me. I would love to meet and greet your dogs before you book for your reassurance. If they are good on or off lead I will do as the owner requires and requests. I really look forward to building up my client base and helping you have your well earned breaks. They will be loved fed and watered and have a field day with us. Dale & Rex Myself and Scott live rural in our detached 4 bedroom bungalow surrounded by acres of fields all for our boy Rex and your dog when they come and stay with us. They will be walked and let out as many times as they like. I walk Rex three times a day as he loves to go out for walks. He would really love a friend to experience all these fields with him as he loves to make friends with other dogs. The time they are with me they get 100% my devoted time and attention. Someone is always home 24/7. I have a large garden around my big bungalow which is all fenced. We have acres of land around us all private so they will have such a good time exploring with Rex. I will always walk new boarder dogs on the lead unless the owner is 100% confident there recall is great otherwise they will be kept safe and close whilst having lots of fun. I will send regular updates and pictures as I know how important it is to know how your pet is getting on. I really love to see dogs thriving and having an amazing time. All dogs deserve the best in my eyes. Your dog will be treated with lots of love like Rex does.
About: I’ve grown up around animals and have always had dogs in my life. I currently have three dogs of my own, so I’m very comfortable handling different personalities, energy levels and routines. While I’m new to dog walking professionally, I’m used to daily walks, feeding routines, basic training and making sure dogs get the exercise and attention they need. About: I have had dogs all my life from small dogs to medium sized dogs I have fed them given them water bathed them and walked them and if your fur baby gets all dirty I would take them to the bathroom and give them a bath and give them a nice warm bath they would be really nice and clean and I have got a dog and had dogs all my life time when I was growing up so I love dogs I’m also a very happy person and I’m also a kind caring person that would be very happy to look after your fur baby’s I don’t work so I’m always around and available for your fur baby and I will always take good care of them like you do plus I will always be there for them and take good care of them I have had dog’s all my life We have a closed in garden so will keep your fur baby safe and sound when in the back garden and if needed have a crate for your fur baby to keep safe or needs a sleep we will all so give your fur baby a nice cuddle and plenty of walks.next to me or my wife on the sofa and they will get a lot of attention from me

I have looked after other people's cats and dogs my whole life and have volunteered at Dogs Trust in my teenage years. I love all animals and am at my happiest when in their company. About: I've been around dogs for as long as I can remember, growing up with them from birth and owning my own for the past 15 years. From the age of 10, I was walking dogs for neighbours and local families, which gave me early hands on experience and a real love of caring for dogs of all ages, breeds and personalities. I have trained a number of dogs including my own dogs and feel confident supporting a wide range of needs, from energetic puppies who need plenty of stimulation to older dogs who enjoy a gentler pace and extra cuddles. Our home offers a genuine home from home environment where dogs are treated as part of the family. We share our home with Rosie, our 14 year old Collie x Poodle, Daisy, our 1 year old Labrador Retriever and our 16 year old Cat Bella who tends to keep herself to herself. As you'll see from the photos, they are very happy, friendly dogs and a huge part of our family. They both enjoy the company of other dogs and are used to sharing their space. We have a secure, good sized garden for safe outdoor play and love exploring the beautiful North Devon countryside, beaches and woodland walks. Whether your dog enjoys adventures, games or simply relaxing at home, we'll make sure they feel happy, comfortable and well cared for. Both my husband and I between us ensure one of us work from home each day of the week, which means dogs in our care have company and supervision for the vast majority of the day. Aside from short school runs or quick errands, someone is usually at home. If your dog is unable to be left alone, please get in touch as we can often accommodate this too. I know how important it is to feel completely confident that your pet is safe, happy and loved while you're away. Whether you're heading off on holiday, need regular daycare, or are visiting North Devon and want to enjoy an activity where dogs can't join, we would be delighted to help. Any dog staying with us will be treated as an honorary member of the family, with plenty of affection, attention and care. I'm also happy to provide regular updates and photos, so you can relax knowing your dog is having a wonderful time. As a dog owner, I use pet sitters myself when we travel, so I completely understand how difficult it can feel leaving your dog with someone new. We both work from home, meaning your dog will have company and supervision for the vast majority of the time (around 95%), aside from short periods such as school runs or quick errands. We always prioritise being with any dog in our care, ensuring they feel settled, safe and never left for long periods. If they could not be left we can also work with this! I understand how important it is to feel your pet is safe and happy, whether you’re away on holiday or just need support during the day. If a working day our dogs get 2 - 3 walks a day from 30 minutes to 45 minutes in a range of different settings. We can meet any timetable for feeding required. I have a fenced garden and 2 friendly dogs that will support in keeping your pup entertained and engaged in games (they love tug of war and ball games!) and lots of cuddles and fuss throughout the day. We live in a quiet estate. We also can offer quiet area’s of the house if they need a little downtime to themselves where we can sit with them if required away from our pups.

For their protection, I keep all dogs firmly on the lead unless you explicitly specify that they have reliable recall and are allowed off lead. When at home, I always make sure they are also supervised outside in the garden as well.
“I can’t quite express how thrilled and thankful we are to have found Julia! She’s everything we could ask for in a sitter and our little dog, Heidi had the best time! She was warm and friendly, and loved and cared for Heidi as if she was her own. Communication was excellent - she sent lots of pictures and updates, and responded quickly to messages. When we first met Julia at our meet and greet, she asked lots of questions and took the time to really get to know Heidi and us. Nothing was too much trouble and she went above and beyond to make Heidi comfortable in her home. She even gave us a tour of her property so that we’d have an idea of where Heidi would be hanging out. Knowing that our girl was in such good hands made it easy for us to relax on our trip, and we didn’t worry about her once. When we arrived to collect Heidi, it was clear that she had really bonded with Julia and they’d become the best of friends - Heidi didn’t want to leave at first and kept running back for more cuddles! Honestly, I can’t praise Julia enough. We feel so lucky to have found such a wonderful friend to care for Heidi when we go away. Thanks a million, Julia! Xx”
