About: I’ve been dog walking and boarding for over two years, and I’m usually the first call when friends need someone to care for their pets while they’re away. I grew up on a farm surrounded by dogs, cats, and all kinds of animals, so caring for pets has always been part of my life. I’m a massive dog lover (my daughter is too!), and your pup will be treated like one of the family. I’m currently working part time and my job allows me to be home almost all the time. I tend to have max. of 2 dogs at time so they get as much attention and care as possible I am based in Livermead, only 5mins from the beach where dogs are welcome even during the summer and 5mins drive to Cockington park. Walk along seafront is always good too! Garden is fenced, and location is perfect for walkies.
About: I have always had animals in my life. We lost our 18 year old cat Winny last year to cat dementia. He was a rescue and it was devastating but we still have our furry friend mavis, she is our 5 year old cat who I and my daughter adore. I have always helped my friends and family with pet sitting when they go away so thought I would see if I could offer my cuddles to other animals when their families go away. I am currently a 3rd year student Nurse working for the NHS. Finances are tight as it is for everyone right now and as I love animals so much I thought why not use my free time earning some extra money while doing something I love. After the summer holidays I will be attending uni 3 days a week and have time to add this to my daily and weekly routine. I am flexible and happy to arrange with people and families about what will work for them. My aim in this is to visit pets in there homes, any animals. Feeding, cuddles, litter trays. I can do dog walks if it will fit in around schedules but predominantly I'm looking to do drop ins for feeds and cuddles and safety checks. I am very trust worthy and I am DBS checked.

“Excellent sitter. Great communication, care and attention to detail. Dominika took the time to understand my cats’ need for a calm environment, which I (we) really appreciated. They were happy and relaxed when I got home. I’ll definitely be making more bookings. ”
About: I have grown up around animals my whole life, having dogs, cats, rats, fish and a hedgehog as a child. I currently live with my partner and our two cats, however I am often pet sitting for friends and family, usually for my partner's family's dogs (dachshunds, border collies and chihuahuas). The border collies in our family are quite old and require daily medication, which is something I'm used to scheduling my days around. When we first got our cats they came to us with fleas, so I'm also no stranger to the occasional flea bath and ear mite check. I enjoy spending my evenings with my own cats after work, however I work very close to home so can happily spend my lunch breaks at home if your pet is boarding with me. I tend to work Monday to Friday 9-5:30 and have weekends free, however I do often have Mondays and Tuesdays and odd afternoons off work too. I have two gorgeous cats of my own who have free range of the house and back garden as we live in quite a secluded, safe area away from main roads. I am more than happy to keep windows and doors closed for the safety and comfort of your pet, however the back garden has high fences so would be safe for a dog. We have plenty of toys and comfy places to nap around the house and a water fountain to ensure the animals keep hydrated.
“Thank you molly for the photos of Minty she seems very happy. Minty was pleased to see us then been in the hallway looking at front door waiting for her friend to come 😂 we appreciate everything you have done and definitely will have you back next time we go on holiday. Peace of mind while we was away”

About: Although I don’t have professional pet-sitting experience, I’ve grown up around animals and have my own dog, so I understand how much love, attention and care they need. Because I work away at times, it isn’t practical for me to have more pets of my own, which is why I love having the opportunity to care for other people’s beloved animals when I am home from work. When I’m home from work, I’m home full-time, so your pet will receive plenty of companionship, attention and care throughout the day. Whether it’s walks, drop-in visits, daycare or boarding, I’ll treat your pets as if they were my own, making sure they feel safe, happy and loved while you’re away. I know how important it is to find someone you can trust, so I’ll happily keep you updated with regular photos and messages for complete peace of mind. I love animals of all kinds and would be delighted to meet your furry family members. I can’t wait to give them lots of love, cuddles and attention while you’re away! I work on a rotational schedule, so my availability varies throughout the month. When I’m home, I’m home full time and can provide plenty of attention, walks and companionship. I keep my Rover calendar up to date, so you’ll always be able to see my availability before booking. Your pet’s safety and wellbeing will always be my top priority. I’ll take the time to learn about their routine, personality and any specific needs before their stay, so they can feel as comfortable as possible. I’ll follow your instructions carefully, whether that’s feeding schedules, exercise, medication or favourite routines. My home is calm, clean and pet friendly, with plenty of space for your pet to relax. I’ll provide regular updates and photos throughout their stay, walks or my visits so you can have peace of mind knowing they’re safe, happy and well cared for.

About: Dogs have always been a huge part of my life, and I have over 12 years of experience as a dog owner, as well as many years of caring for dogs for others. I have two beautiful dogs. One is a beautiful x large rescue dog. When she was rescued, she was extremely nervous and frightened of both people and other dogs. With patience, consistency and lots of love, she blossomed into a gentle, calm and affectionate giant who absolutely loves cuddles and exploring woodland walks. She truly showed me just how much patience, understanding and love can transform a dog's confidence. ❤️ I also have a very sociable miniature Dachshund. She is the Timone to my other big girl Pumba. Personailities to suit too! There is honestly nothing I love more than spending time with my babies and my clients pets, whether that's going for an exciting walk, providing company and cuddles, or simply giving them a safe, calm and nurturing environment to feel at home in. 🐶 I have looked after dogs for family and friends and clients for many years and would love the opportunity to care for your four-legged family members too. Whether you need dog walking, sitting, an evening stay, socialisation or general care and companionship, I can provide a loving and attentive service tailored to your dog's individual needs. Every dog is different, and I believe in taking the time to understand their personality, routine and what makes them feel happy and comfortable. Please feel free to get in touch with any questions or to have a chat about how I can help look after your furry friends. I currently work full-time, Monday to Friday, so evenings and weekends are generally the most suitable times for me. That said, I do have some flexibility around my working hours with working from home and am happy to accommodate other requirements where possible. I understand that every pet owner has different schedules and needs, so please feel free to get in touch with your preferred dates and times. I’ll always do my best to work around your requirements and provide a reliable, professional service that gives you complete peace of mind while your pets are in my care. I provide pet sitting in the comfort of your own home, allowing your pets to stay in their familiar surroundings while you’re away. I follow their usual routines as closely as possible, including feeding, walks, playtime, medication if required, and plenty of love and attention. I understand that every pet is different, so I take the time to get to know their individual needs, personality and routine. I’m happy to provide regular updates, photos and videos throughout my stay, so you can have peace of mind knowing your pets are happy, safe and well cared for. I treat every home and pet with the same care and respect I would my own, and my priority is always making sure your pets feel comfortable, settled and loved while you’re away.
“Carly was a fantastic sitter for Winnie and Otis. She kindly agreed to meet us on our walk first so the dogs could see her before she came later that evening. She is a very friendly, bubbly lady and made us feel right at ease.”

Jaime is a kind and professional young lady who will give your cats the best of cares ! When she got to our house, she immediately made friends with the shyest of our two kitties- she clearly has "the cat touch " ! During our weekend away, we regularly received photos and videos of Cobweb and Floki feeding and playing, which made us feel happy and reassured. We got home to two happy kitties, and will definitely use Jaime's services again !

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
