Availability
I currently have a full time and part time job but I’m happy to do early morning or evening walkies and drop ins. I also love dog boarding in their home so they feel comfortable but will need atleast 3 weeks notice so I can make personal arrangements.

As long as I’m told what requirements/food schedule/medication your floofs need, I’m more than happy to do this for them. I also need to know how they are on walks, whether they’re best around other dogs or whether I need to go on more secluded walks with them. I’m good at ready animals body language so will never push any boundaries and will do my best to make them feel at home and happy.
Information Kirsty O. would like to know about your pet
Where they like to go, how they are on walks, what food they have and when, whether they need medication, behavioural issues to be aware of, routines, and their likes and dislikes. Also I put ‘yes’ for being able to administer injected medication to dogs.. I haven’t injected dogs before but I’m capable of administering insulin injections to cats.
A typical day
My favourite place to take dogs for walks is on the moors or the woods, and I like to walk as long as all our legs can take us! But will of course rather go where the dogs prefer to go and wherever makes them happiest.

Passionate trustworthy animal lover
Pet care experience
Hello, I'm Kirsty, and I'm passionate about providing exceptional care to animals in need. As an Animal Care Assistant at our rescue centre, I've had the privilege of working with these wonderful creatures since 2019. My journey began in 2018 when I volunteered in our kennels, and I'm thrilled to have made it a full-time role. When I'm not working at the centre, you can find me volunteering at other animal rescues, where I help with fostering, rescue efforts, and transportation. I'm dedicated to making a difference in the lives of animals and their future families. As an animal lover and dedicated pet owner, I've always prioritized the well-being and happiness of my furry friends. My own pets, Buddy, a lovable cuddly rescue collie, and Kobe, a lazy big ole boy, bring immense joy to my life. I'm also passionate about fostering animals in need, providing them with a safe and nurturing environment until they find their forever homes. I enjoy spending time outdoors with my pets, exploring new walking trails and hiking spots. While I have a 9-to-5 schedule, I'm available for early morning or evening visits and would be happy to accommodate pets that can accompany me to work. Although I can no longer offer house-sitting services due to my own pets' needs, I'm happy to provide alternative care solutions, including boarding for dogs that get along with other pets. Additional services I offer include nail clipping, pet photography, medication administration (insulin injections, oral/topical medications), and flea/worm treatment applications. I'm committed to providing compassionate and reliable care for your beloved pets.
Reviews

Absolutely fantastic sitter who goes above and beyond for cats! I was really nervous about leaving Ralph alone for the first time but was reassured that he was great hands until our return and got lots of updates from Kirsty every visit. So grateful to Kirsty for looking after Ralph for us

Fabulous!

Very happy with the service. Kirsty visited me and my cat before I went away, she is clearly passionate and empathetic with animals. I was very confident leaving Kirsty in charge while I was away. Daily photo updates, brought extra toys, and kept the place clean. Highly recommended thank you

I needed help as I sprained my ankle, I watched first hand. Friendly and caring Kirsty easily gave medication (pill and liquid by mouth) to my cat. On her third visit two further cats were interested in meeting her, the fourth was too shy. She was great at cleaning up too. I will be inviting her back!
