Doggy Day Care in West Somerset

About: I'm in my forties and I've taken care of many pets throughout my entire life ranging from cats, dogs, ferrets, rats and more. I walk dogs for friends and neighbors regularly and love them like my own. As I'm not working at the moment I'm able to take and walk pets all week, even in the late evenings. I'd be available from around 8-9am to 11pm. I'm capable to take care of medicated pets by giving medication or even providing first aid. I have experience in grooming and bathing dogs. Energetic and high maintenance dogs are also welcome as I have experience and am happy to walk far and spend hours with them at the park. I prefer to keep dogs on leash when walking them to avoid any risks.

“Paddy had a wonderful stay with Shelagh and her husband Pete. Paddy can get overexcited on meeting new people and had not boarded away from home or stayed with another dog before so we were uncertain how he would react. We needn’t have worried. Shelagh and Pete are very animal aware and felt he’d settle into his new routine. He had an initial two day visit, spent a lovely time running free in the enclosed field, and we returned to collect him finding the two dogs perfectly happy wandering around together. A real success - we instantly booked Paddy for a week’s stay so we could go away on holiday on our own. Very pleased and grateful for Shelagh & Pete’s care.”

About: Apart from being a professional piano teacher and musician my world is about animal care . I share my home with 3 dogs , 4 cats , 6 horses and 6 sheep , and 1 hamster most being rescued at some. point ! I grew up with dogs and have always had at least 3 dogs to care for and same with cats and horses! I’m experienced with young pups having had several litters myself and elderly dogs needing a loving and caring environment to feel safe . Living on top of Exmoor we have fantastic walks available and I have a large secure garden too ! I work from home apart from one day a week and am there to care for my own animals and yours 24/7. Most importantly your pets need to feel happy and safe and loved in a new unfamiliar environment and they will be welcome as part of the family from the moment they arrive . We truly are a home from home where your pets will be our number one priority . I currently work part time from home and am available to care for your pets 6 days per week with overnight care also . My dogs are never left unattended and they are my priority . I will aim to fit in with your usual pet schedule . My dogs and cats are very friendly and used to having new friends to stay . The dogs ages range from 1.5 yrs to 14 so they adapt well to other dogs . I have a secure garden and lots of space in the house and your dog can have total freedom in the home environment . Walks are taken away from the road and dogs kept on a long lead if preferred . I work from home part time apart from one day away per week and so can devote myself completely to your dogs and my dogs needs . Animals tend to rule the roost here ! I have a secure house and a fenced garden with lots of space and a separate fenced patio, and so a very secure environment .

About: Hello, I'm Macy. I live in Somerset with my family. My parents as well as three siblings (all over the age of 11) We have two budgies, Blueberry and Mango - they live upstairs and won't be around your dog. Our home may sound like a lot but we have plenty of space for your pup and will make them feel a part of our family when boarding. My love of animals led me to study and complete an Animal Management Level 3 course at Cannington College over the past two years. I learnt a wide variety of practical skills that included dog care. I have also had experience in walking and sitting dogs during this past 8 months and I can't get enough of it. Im happy to work with all types of dogs including puppies and geriatrics. About: We are a couple that absolutely love dogs, I’ve taken care of dogs since I am a kid and love them and my wife has been pets sitting for the 3 years also being a volunteer and working with rescue dogs for a long time Taking care of dogs bring much joy to our little family but we prefer to have just one at a time to make sure that I give them the care and commitment they deserve. We can take 2 dogs when they belong to the same family so we are sure that they behave like siblings 😊 We live in front of the canal where we take long walks with the dogs and love to include them in all our activities working from home and my wife being a full time housewife we have plenty of time to spend with them, something great for anxious dogs I work from home most of the time and have plenty of time to take care of dogs. I have a little one so I go to the park with the dogs. I have a fenced garden with direct access to a great park by the canal in a very safe neighborhood. I have a car in case of any issue.
