“Agnieszka was great with Kaloo, who seemed to warm up to her fairly quickly, considering she is a pretty shy dog in general. Agnieszka was also responsive and happy to ask the right questions. Kaloo looked happy when we were back from our day out! Would recommend her and definitely use her services again.”

“Excellent caring service. Grace and Rhodri provided love and attention to all 3 dogs. All 3 took to them straight away. Updates with photos and messages. They all looked like they had a whale of a time. Checked the dogs and took care of a few ticks after their walk on the fields!! House was left clean and tidy and even loaded the washing machine with the used bedsheets and towels. Hope you guys enjoyed your stay in our little slice of heaven!!”
“Helped us out at short notice for an overnight stay, Great communication from Emma, even popped round the night before to meet Molly. Photos and chat during the stay, couldent be happier, will definitely be booking Emma again. Thanks again..”

About: Hi there! My name is Rachel, I’m a 29 year old working professional based in Taunton and I live with my partner in a fully detached house with a large secure enclosed garden, giving dogs plenty of safe space to play and explore. I’ve grown up around both cats and dogs all my life, and featured in my photo is our family dog Coco, a mini Pomeranian who I absolutely adore. I regularly dog sit for friends over weekends and love taking their dogs out for walks and adventures in the countryside. I enjoy being outdoors and discovering new walking spots, so your dog will get lots of exercise, attention and companionship. I work from home on Mondays, meaning I’m around throughout the day for walks, toilet breaks, feeding and company. Although we don’t currently have pets living with us, our home is very pet friendly and calm, making it a great environment for dogs to feel comfortable and relaxed. I’m available on weekends and love spending time outdoors on long walks and adventures with dogs. Most of my friends have dogs and I love going for Saturday morning coffee and dog walks with them. I also work from home on Mondays, so I’m around all day for walks, feeding, toilet breaks and plenty of company. Your dog will get lots of attention, playtime and care throughout their stay! Your dog will be cared for in a calm, loving home with a large secure enclosed garden where they can safely play and explore. I currently don’t have pets, so your dog will have plenty of space and attention. I always make sure dogs are well looked after, exercised, comfortable and treated like part of the family!
About: I have years of experience caring for family and friends’ dogs, especially high-energy and working breeds. I’m very active and love running and walking with dogs, making sure they get the exercise they need. I’m comfortable reinforcing basic training and maintaining routines. Currently working full-time Monday to Friday! Happy to support weekends (Friday-Sunday) and evening walking if needed. Happy to drive and support from homes and take in walks on the moors. When caring for pets in a pet owner’s home, I focus on maintaining their normal routine so they feel comfortable and secure. I follow all care instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walks, exercise, medication if needed, and any training routines. I make sure pets get plenty of attention, enrichment, and activity, while also keeping their environment clean, safe, and stress-free.
About: Greetings! With a genuine passion for animals and over a decade of practical experience, I offer reliable and compassionate pet care services. Over the past 10 years, I've had the pleasure of engaging with a variety of pets, specializing in the care of dogs – from large and boisterous to small and shy. My journey into pet care started organically around 5 years ago, evolving into 21 highly rewarding and mostly longer-term house-sitting opportunities. Dogs hold a special place in my heart, and my personal companion, a rescue of almost 13 years, accompanies me on every adventure. In addition to canine care, I've successfully tended to the needs of horses, goats, rabbits, and birds, and maintained marine fish and coral environments. Administration of medications, including tablets, injections, and other forms, is within my realm of expertise. Choosing me as your pet sitter means entrusting your beloved companions to a seasoned caregiver who values their well-being and happiness. Let's make your time away worry-free and filled with contented pets. As a self-employed business owner running a boutique digital agency with a fully remote work structure, incorporating pet care into my daily and weekly routine seamlessly aligns with my flexible schedule. Working remotely provides the advantage of being present for our furry friends throughout the day. In my daily routine, breaks for walks, playtime, and feeding become cherished moments of connection with pets under my care. These breaks not only ensure their well-being but also serve as rejuvenating intervals for me, fostering a balanced work-life dynamic. Whether it's a midday stroll or a quick game of fetch, these interactions contribute to a positive and thriving environment for the pets. Every week, I allocate dedicated time for more extended adventures and activities, catering to the specific needs and preferences of each pet. This structure allows for a harmonious blend of work responsibilities and attentive pet care, creating a fulfilling routine for both myself and the animals. The flexibility inherent in my remote work setup further allows me to adapt swiftly to any unexpected pet care requirements, ensuring that their comfort and happiness remain a top priority. In essence, my routine revolves around creating a balanced and enjoyable environment for pets, enriching their lives while maintaining the productivity of my professional endeavours. Currently, my primary focus is providing dedicated pet care within the familiar surroundings of their own homes. This approach ensures that pets experience minimal disruption to their routines and feel secure and comfortable in their familiar environment. My pet care routine typically includes: Playtime and Exercise: Engaging in play and exercise is an integral part of my care routine. I tailor activities to each pet's preferences and energy levels, whether it's a spirited game of fetch or a stroll around the neighbourhood. Affection and Companionship: Pets thrive on companionship, and I prioritize spending quality time providing affection, belly rubs, and any other attention they may crave. Updates for Pet Owners: Communication is key. I keep pet owners informed with regular updates, including photos, videos and messages, to provide peace of mind about their furry family members. Starting in June, I am excited to announce that I will be expanding my services to include home boarding. This will offer a home-away-from-home experience for pets, where they can enjoy a secure and loving environment.
About: I've been taking care of pets for as long as I can remember. I pet sat during university and my masters, as well as when I first graduated. I am now back as I miss it and want to meet more pets again. I have my own two dogs and love taking them on the best days out When I house sit I am more than happy to take care of domestic needs too such as gardening, plant care and cleaning, as I know how important it is to come home to a clean house! Please message me for more bespoke requests as Rover can only list so much, but I am more than happy to try to accommodate your animals as much as possible! I currently work for myself as a clothing embroiderer so my schedule is relatively relaxed and can fit around your pet and their needs 😊 I have a fenced garden so my dogs are always safe and secure, and my rabbits also have a hutch and a run to make sure they're safe
“Molly did a great job of housesitting at our cottage and looking after our black lab, cat and pond full of fish whilst we were away for four days. She tended the plants and hanging baskets and communications were excellent throughout. We returned to a spotlessly tidy cottage and happy pets. We have already arranged for Molly to return for a further four night house sit towards the end of August.”

About: As well as being very actively involved in the care of my families dogs ever since I was very young, I have looked after plenty of friends dogs too. I have experience caring for dogs of all sizes, breeds and temperaments in both cities and the countryside. I prioritise being extra safe and present when I'm caring for an animal which ensures any dog in my care is relaxed and happy. Ultimately I'm completely dog obsessed and take the responsibility of looking after any dog, be it my own or someone else's, very seriously (but not seriously enough that we don't also have loads of fun!!) I am currently a freelance graphic designer working from home meaning I have a VERY flexible schedule and really the perfect set up for taking care of dogs. As of right now I am available all week with no real time constraints. Note- from 29/04 - 20/05 and 03/06-24/06 I will be unavailable on Wednesday until 2pm. I have a lovely fenced medium-large garden with lots of plants, trees and interesting bits for dogs to explore (aka not a rectangle of flat grass!). My dogs spend lots of time outside sunbathing and playing. I have two beddlington-whippet girls at home, one is 5 the other is 10. The older isn't particularly interested in other dogs at all, happy to keep to herself. The other LOVES other dogs, she's a fantastic play mate.
About: Fully licensed and insured for pet boarding, sitting and walking. I live in Uphill, WsM with my wife and son. In the past I have owned dogs, cats and other pets. When we lost my lovely 13 year old Border terrier, it seemed like a good idea to take up pet boarding, sitting and walking. I usually board one, occasionally two dogs, at a time from different households, but happy to board two dogs from the same household. We usually host small to medium sized dogs, and up to a maximum of three dogs. I can no longer take very large or strong dogs that pull on the lead. Our garden is a good size and secure, so your dog will always have access to the garden. I live near to Uphill’s sandy beach and wonderful countryside walks. Your dog will be very comfortable and well looked after. I work from home so your dog will never be left alone for longer than a few hours in the daytime and never alone at night. I can also do dog sitting, dog walking and possible drop in visits locally, contact me for details if you require these. North Somerset Boarding Licence Number: 042795 Pet business insurance & public liability. I work from home so your dog or cat will never be left alone for longer than a couple of hours in the daytime and never alone at night. I have a secure and safe garden so your dog will always have access to the garden as well as local beach, park and countryside walks.
“We were a little worried about having a house sitter for our two pugs. We found Karen on Rover.com and she was trustworthy, bonded with our dogs very quickly and really looked after them very well. We received photos every day whilst away and Karen was the perfect house sitter. We could see that our dogs were very happy on our return. Thank you Karen”

“Harriet was amazing looking after our lurcher Frankie (who suffers from separation anxiety). She put our minds at ease right away, so we could relax knowing Frankie was in good hands. We’ll definitely ask Harriet to dog sit again! 5 stars!”

“Holly and Giles were absolutely amazing and I highly recommend them. Our dog is a rescue and because of his previous life can be wary of strangers. He adored Holly and Giles from the first time he met them - I have never seen him take to someone so quickly and I trust his judgement! We met up before we went away and again he absolutely loved them, I think he would have happily gone off with them without me! They took amazing care of him, our cat Molly got far more attention than she usually does and they looked after our home and cleaned it for us which was a blessing after a long trip. We received updates and photos every day which helped so much in knowing he was happy. They are both lovely people, genuine, funny and caring and have great knowledge of animals. I hope to keep in touch with them as they feel like friends now. Massively grateful for all their help!”
“Looked after fifi very well, sent me some pics and messages to let me know all was fine. Had a meet and greet before she came to stay which was lovely. Left our house spotless! Would definitely recommend and we would use Rachael again 😁”
