“I found Agata to be calm and professional around the dogs. She came to meet them first and asked lots of questions as to their likes and dislikes. She took them on their favourite walks and gave them the love, cuddles and time in the evening they would have missed from us not being there. She provided photos and updates on them and all in all I couldn’t have felt more reassured that the dogs were having a good time. Agata was flexible when our flights were delayed and kept in touch. A very positive first experience on Rover helped massively by Agata.”

About: I have grown up with animals all my life. This includes dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs and more! I am an Australian, and since moving to the UK have not bought my own pet yet. I have been looking after my partners family dog & cat, but would love to be surrounded by more animals again. I work from home during the week, but also as a PT in Exeter during the week. I am available during the week, as well as on weekends. I believe in making an animal feel comfortable in their own environment, so will follow any specific rules you set. But I will make them feel comfortable and cared for.

About: Dogs have been part of our family for 30 years or more. We have 2 dogs currently and I very much enjoy caring for other dogs in their own homes and surroundings. I have cared for many different breeds and ages. I am a retired registered nurse, so my time is my own. I am married so i am able to be away from home whilst my own dogs are cared for by my husband. I am not currently looking to board dogs in my own home, as this would not be suitable with our own two dogs. However this may be possible if there are no other options

About: Hi! We're Angie & Alex, full-time professional house and pet sitters and dog walker. We have both always loved animals and grown up looking after dogs and cats. I (Angie) grew up with dogs (a spaniel, a lab and a German Shepherd), whilst Alex grew up with cats. We now move around looking after different, wonderful dogs and cats, and their owners' homes while they're on extended trips (usually 2+ weeks). We give all animals the individual care and attention they need. So far this year we the pet sits have included: elderly dogs (including giving them medication), a couple of energetic, young golden retrievers, a wisler and dachshund duo, an adorable young Labrador, and a pack of dachshunds. We give all pets the individual care and attention they need, as they are all unique. Our favourite thing to do is getting outside with dogs, enjoying lots of walks in nature, and Angie also offers dog walking in the East Devon area. We both work remotely, so we are at home all during the work week. Angie works part-time and flexi hours, so she is available to meet longer walking needs, if required. When we're not working, we're dedicated to the pets, and make any social plans fit around the animals' needs. We only do house-sitting, staying at the owner's house, and usually for 2+ weeks at a time. We take great care to learn from you what your animal needs and work with those needs. It's important to us that dogs and cats feel safe and comfortable with us, and that they thrive in our care. We ensure their routines are not disrupted; such as taking them on as long or short walks as they need and at the times they're used to. We can also administer medication, and give them playtime and attention.

“It’s always difficult to trust your beloved dogs, puppies and canine family to people who are new to your pack. But Patrick has been amazing. He made the trip to meet my two dogs who are very different in their needs and personalities. Every day we have been away I have had an update on what they have been upto, photos and amazing communication. As a pet owner it was great to receive the updates but also good to see how Patrick had settled into our home and community. I always aim to make pets feel safe, comfortable and cared for, while keeping to their normal routine as much as possible. I follow each owner’s instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medication if required, and any other specific needs. When caring for a pet in their owner’s home, I’m respectful of their space and make sure their pet receives plenty of attention, companionship and exercise. I understand that every pet is different, so I take the time to get to know their personality and make sure they feel relaxed and happy while their owners are away.

Thursdays Saturdays and Sundays off.. if during the week they would have to be ok with being left. I have precious experience house sitting and looking after puppies, and I’m confident caring for dogs of different ages, personalities, and energy levels. I am patient, attentive, and genuinely love spending time with animals whatever that may be, walking, playing, or simply keeping them company. I’m currently at university looking to do pet sitting alongside my studies. I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your pets and in your home, and I’ll always treat your animals as if they were my own. I am studying at Exeter University and am looking to do pet sitting alongside my studies, this means I’m available for evenings, overnight stays, dog walks during the day around my academic hours and weekend care as well, I am very good at time management and can be flexible with my hours. Whilst I cannot offer stays at my home due to living in a student house which doesn’t allow pets (unfortunately!) I am very happy to provide pet sitting in the owner’s home, where pets can stay in their familiar surroundings and follow their usual routine.
