About: Dogs have been part of our family for 30 years or more. We have 2 dogs currently and I very much enjoy caring for other dogs in their own homes and surroundings. I have cared for many different breeds and ages. I am a retired registered nurse, so my time is my own. I am married so i am able to be away from home whilst my own dogs are cared for by my husband. I am not currently looking to board dogs in my own home, as this would not be suitable with our own two dogs. However this may be possible if there are no other options

About: Hi! We're Angie & Alex, full-time professional house and pet sitters and dog walker. We have both always loved animals and grown up looking after dogs and cats. I (Angie) grew up with dogs (a spaniel, a lab and a German Shepherd), whilst Alex grew up with cats. We now move around looking after different, wonderful dogs and cats, and their owners' homes while they're on extended trips (usually 2+ weeks). We give all animals the individual care and attention they need. So far this year we the pet sits have included: elderly dogs (including giving them medication), a couple of energetic, young golden retrievers, a wisler and dachshund duo, an adorable young Labrador, and a pack of dachshunds. We give all pets the individual care and attention they need, as they are all unique. Our favourite thing to do is getting outside with dogs, enjoying lots of walks in nature, and Angie also offers dog walking in the East Devon area. We both work remotely, so we are at home all during the work week. Angie works part-time and flexi hours, so she is available to meet longer walking needs, if required. When we're not working, we're dedicated to the pets, and make any social plans fit around the animals' needs. We only do house-sitting, staying at the owner's house, and usually for 2+ weeks at a time. We take great care to learn from you what your animal needs and work with those needs. It's important to us that dogs and cats feel safe and comfortable with us, and that they thrive in our care. We ensure their routines are not disrupted; such as taking them on as long or short walks as they need and at the times they're used to. We can also administer medication, and give them playtime and attention.

About: I’ve always had a dog at home and have looked after dogs for neighbours, family and friends over the years, as well as a few cats. I just really love being around animals and getting to know their different personalities. I’m happy taking dogs out for walks and playing with them, but also very happy just sitting with them and having a cuddle in the evening. I’ll always do my best to make them feel comfortable and looked after while you’re away. I’m a uni student in Exeter, so I’d be able to fit pet care quite naturally into my daily routine. In the mornings, I’d feed them and take them out for a walk before heading to lectures. During the longer breaks in my day, I’d come home to let them out and spend a bit of time with them. Then in the evenings, I’d take them out for another walk, or we could just have a cosy evening together watching a nature show or something! Then weekends are totally free so a nice long walk if they’re up for it! I love animals and would treat them with lots of care, patience and attention, while making sure to follow their usual routine and anything their owner asks of me. I’d also be respectful of their home and keep everything clean and tidy. I’d be happy to give regular updates and photos too, so the owner knows their pet is doing well and feels reassured while they’re away.

About: I'm a PhD student at Exeter uni studying animal welfare in marine biology, particularly in fish. I love animals and always have loved cats. In my last few years of school before leaving for uni our family got a British Shorthair kitten called Ragnar (he's 9 now and a wonderful sweet boy) and a couple years after that we adopted a stray kitten called Tessa (she's quirky and very fun). I've taken care of our cats and take over all cat duties when I'm back home in the holidays. I've pet sat over the years including cats, dogs, fish of course and chickens!

About: As a dog-owner with plenty of neighbours with pet, I have been a reliable source whenever my neighbours have needed someone to look after their dogs / cats. I am super-active and love taking dogs out for long walks on beaches, local parks and discovering new places! I am an incoming medical student starting at Oxford, looking for a little extra cash to help me with my studies, as well as an opportunity to look after loads of furry friends!!! I’m currently not working and am in a stage where I am in preparation for university, and so I have plenty of time and flexibility to look after your pets. I have a 14 year old dog who is super friendly, but as I live with my family I am able to accommodate your pet without bringing my dog. I have a medium-sized garden and live right by lots of parks and the quay so there are lots of lovely walks that I will be able to take your dogs on! My own dog is super pet-friendly and would love to keep your little one company. I take my dog out for regular breaks and so your furry friend will have lots of outdoor time should they need it!

“Zoe answered our request immediately even though it was at relatively short notice. We met up the next day where Freya’s immediate response was very positive. Zoe asked all the right questions to understand and get to know Freya and her idiosyncrasies. Zoe contacted us a couple of times during the three day sit on minor issues which were quickly resolved. The only problem was that when it was time for her to leave Freya insisted on following her out of the door! Zoe clearly has an infinity with dogs and a caring attitude. Mostly I care for cats and dogs though I have had chickens, horses (feeding) and domestic fish and birds. I hare cared for senior pets including their medication. I am semi retired and I do part time work from time to time. In my career was a nurse. I have a deep interest in naturopathy and health. I have a low meat diet. At times the owners dog crate is put in my car though many digs yravel in the front well area. I enjoy taking dogs out on trips eg National trust grounds or the beaches.
