“From initial enquiry to me arriving home, Matteo demonstrated nothing but professionalism and a genuine love of dogs. Matteo arrived on time and established a great rapport with Ringo whilst asking pertinent questions about his care needs. Furthermore, Matteo sent me photos and updates regularly which was very much appreciated. When I arrived home, Ringo looked happy and relaxed. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Matteo to anyone.”

“Jo is incredible with Dougie! She’s professional and fills you full of confidence leaving your fur baby with her. She’s friendly, warm and a delight to have as a dog sitter, can’t wait to work more with Jo in the future.”

“Lydia was excellent! She took very good care of our dog Buddy for four nights while we were on a trip abroad. We were delighted that she sent us many pictures and kept us updated about how things were going at home. We will definitely contact her again if we need dog sitting for Buddy in the future!”

About: I have always loved animals and as a child I had cats and horses. I got my beloved Cockapoo 10 years ago when I started working from home and I have never looked back. Biscuit, is a a chilled out 10 yrs old Cockapoo, who loves all other dogs. She is such a great-natured dog and loves nothing more than to play and cuddle and go for long walks. I work from home, so the dogs are rarely on their own. I have been on Rover looking & caring for other dogs for nearly 8 years now. I don't take a lot of dogs together, preferring to have just one or two at a time, so they get my full attention. I generally look after medium-sized dogs because this works well with my dog. I won't take dogs for a long period of time, unless I have had them on a trial day first. - I only accept dogs that are housetrained, with a good temperament and are in good health and up to date with flea and tick treatments. -Owners provide food and any other items the dog requires. I run my own business and work from home, so I run my diary around the dogs and walking time. When we are not walking, they are with me in my office or out in the decking, which is completely secure. I work around what your dog is use, trying to keep their routine the same. Their environment is safe with a double gate, and high fencing around around the decking. Noone has escaped in 6 years !

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats since I was around 10 for neighbours and friends and family I have reptile and equine experience I’m currently only working part time and am informed of my shifts days in advanced which opens up my schedule to more hours during the week! I have a fenced garden and a park just opposite my house which is mostly enclosed, I can take your pet on multiple walks a day and they shouldn’t be alone for more than a couple hours at a time :)

About: Pets and animals have always been a big part of my life and I have experience caring for both dogs and cats through looking after my own, as well as helping family and friends with theirs. I’m happy to help with everything from walks, feeding and playtime to providing plenty of company and attention. I’m responsible, caring and will always treat your pets and home with the love and respect I would my own :) I’m currently between jobs, so I have plenty of time and flexibility to provide lots of care, attention, companionship and walks whenever your pets need. I will care for your pets in the comfort of their own home, keeping their usual routines and making sure they feel safe, happy and well looked after. I am also willing to do small housework jobs if needed whilst I am with your pets and keep you updated for peace of mind that your pets are in good hands

About: Hi, I’m Denise, a caring and reliable pet sitter with a lifelong love of animals. I grew up with dogs and cats, including rescue dogs, and have experience looking after dogs for friends and housemates, from walks and overnight stays to caring for them while their owners are away. I’m naturally very outdoorsy, so I love taking dogs on long walks where needed. I currently work part-time as a support worker with young adults with learning disabilities, which gives me plenty of flexibility. I treat every dog as if it were my own and always aim to make them feel safe, happy, and well cared for. I’m happy to look after high-energy dogs as well as more relaxed ones. I also have experience with puppies, nervous dogs, and rescue dogs. I have public liability insurance too, so you can have that extra peace of mind. I’d love to look after your dog and make sure they have a happy, fun and comfortable time while you’re away 🐾 I also offer dog walking and drop-in visits! I currently work part-time as a support worker, so I have plenty of flexibility. My schedule changes weekly, but I’ll always do my best to accommodate your needs. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask! I always follow your pet’s usual routine as closely as possible, including feeding times, walks, and any specific instructions you provide. I make sure pets are supervised, comfortable, and secure at all times, and I’ll keep you updated with regular photos and messages if you ask for it so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. I can’t offer pet sitting in my own home at the moment, but I’m happy to travel anywhere within 30 miles
“Olha recently looked after my dog (Toby) whilst house sitting for a weekend. Olha is very trustworthy and kept in communication the whole time. She provided reassurance that Toby was doing okay, and sent updates including some pictures of him. Olha was amazing with Toby and looked after him so well that he didn’t want her to leave! Highly recommended.”

“Our Rupert had a wonderful day with Rach, she was super considerate of understanding him and flexible to what we needed. Rach sent us photo updates throughout the day which was really reassuring for Rupert’s first day with a sitter! We definitely know who to return to in the future :)”

About: Please note: Although my dog Jack has a Rover profile, he does not stay at my house when I’m boarding other dogs, so there will be no resident dog present during your dog’s stay. I have been on Rover for a little while now and I have walked dogs for clients and friends for the past 5 years and often sit dogs at my house for friends and family. I have had a very corporate job for past 3 years and am trying to get myself out of that world and start walking dogs and sitting dogs on a more permanent basis. I love being out in nature walking it’s my favourite thing to do. I love dogs so much, they just make me smile and make me feel good, I love spending time with them. I am a very respectful person, I treat peoples houses and dogs how I would like mine to be treated. I care for people’s dogs at my house with love and kindness as I do my own dog.
“I could tell from the first meeting with Steph that the dogs were going to be well looked after. She is very capable and professional and I would recommend her to anyone looking for a sitter”

“Fay house sitted whilst I was away and looked after my puppy Cully. She kept me up to date with photos and took great care of him. He looked like he had a great time with Fay. Fay took great care of my house and left it spotless when I returned I would absolutely use Fay when I’m away again.”

About: Hello, We are Hannah and Sam and we've been full time global petsitters for over 3 years, from house cats in Dubai to Beagles in India. Now we are back in Exeter and want to continue our love for petsitting. We’ve been fortunate to receive many lovely reviews from pet owners who appreciate our attentive care, regular updates, and the bond we build with their pets which we are happy to share upon request! There are two of us on the profile, so your pet gets double the attention, double the love and double the care! It also means should an unforeseen event occur where one of us can't make it, you can rest easy knowing the other person can still manage the booking. Sam and I both grew up with dogs and have a deep understanding of what it takes to keep them comfortable and content. Whether it’s playing games, engaging in fun enrichment activities, or taking them on exciting walks, we treat every dog as if they are our own by making sure they feel loved, safe, and entertained while you're away! We are both local to Exeter so know of all the safe and fun walks. A dog’s routine is incredibly important to us, we find that sticking to their usual schedule keeps them happiest. Whether it's mealtime, walk times, or bedtime, we work around their routine to ensure they feel secure and comfortable. As I am self employed our schedule can align to theirs. Also, if house sitting they would have company and lots of attention throughout the day. We believe that communication is key, especially when it comes to your pet’s well-being. If we notice any changes in their behaviour or something seems off, we’ll keep you informed every step of the way, ensuring you always know how they’re doing. We have experience administering medication, including pills and topical treatments, and have cared for senior dogs, including those with hearing impairments. Whether your pet needs extra attention, a little patience, or simply their usual routine, we’re committed to making them feel safe, comfortable, and loved in our care.
“Charlotte was amazing! She came to meet Maple beforehand which was great. Maple is very high energy and excitable but that didn’t phase Charlotte at all and she was great with her. Maple was very happy and had an awesome time with Charlotte and I got regular updates. I would highly recommend her if you’re looking for someone to look after your pets.”

Willow was an instant hit with our puppy Misty & it was very sweet to see Willow was just as happy to meet Misty. She sent us lovely pictures of her relaxing & playing. Willow is a really thoughtful sitter, she even checked with us that the food she brought would be safe to prepare incase Misty had any allergies. She left our home clean & tidy but more importantly we came home to a happy, well cared for puppy. I would definitely book Willow to care for Misty again. Thank you so much.

Charlotte was amazing! She came to meet Maple beforehand which was great. Maple is very high energy and excitable but that didn’t phase Charlotte at all and she was great with her. Maple was very happy and had an awesome time with Charlotte and I got regular updates. I would highly recommend her if you’re looking for someone to look after your pets.

Jade looked after our two retrievers for us whilst we got married. She was an absolute pro, read our instructions fully on their day to day routines and when we got home we could tell the dogs had been properly exercised, played with and loved whilst we'd been gone. She kept us up to date and sent us photos. Our boy is normally nervous but we received photos of him snuggling with her so that put our minds at ease fully! We will be looking to use her services again in the future! Thanks so much Jade! Zoë and Nick
