“Ruby is wonderful, she was able to help us out at short notice. She was on time and our dog loved her. We are extremely grateful that she was able to help us and she took wonderful care of our dog 🐕 ❤ Highly recommended!!”

“We had a wonderful experience with Rowena looking after our dogs. She was calm, friendly and clearly loves animals, and our dogs took to her straight away. She sent us plenty of updates and photos while we were away, which was so reassuring and allowed us to relax knowing they were happy and well cared for. It was such a comfort knowing they were in safe and caring hands. I wouldn't hesitate to book with Rowena again and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring dog sitter.”

“Matteo is a wonderful dog sitter who took great care of our dog, Bruce, for a day and overnight. Right from the first meeting with him, we got an excellent first impression. He is very warm and friendly and was great with Bruce, who took to Matteo straight away. Bruce had a wonderful time and went on lots of lovely walks and came home happy and relaxed. We highly recommend Matteo and will definitely be using him again. Thank you Matteo.”

“Lydia has honestly been amazing! She is super friendly and her daily updates are always full of detail and videos and photos which was really comforting while we were away. Our dog really struggled with firework night but Lydia listened to our advice and let him hide under our bed! He did take a few days to get back to himself with Lydia but she worked so hard to help him with cheese!! We really felt she had listened to our advice on Riley and acted upon it and we knew he was in great hands the whole time we were away! Lydia stayed in our property and she had even cleaned for our return which we really appreciated!! Honestly could not fault Lydia at all and would highly highly recommend her to look after your pet!”

About: I have always loved animals and as a child I had cats and horses. I got my beloved Cockapoo 10 years ago when I started working from home and I have never looked back. Biscuit, is a a chilled out 10 yrs old Cockapoo, who loves all other dogs. She is such a great-natured dog and loves nothing more than to play and cuddle and go for long walks. I work from home, so the dogs are rarely on their own. I have been on Rover looking & caring for other dogs for nearly 8 years now. I don't take a lot of dogs together, preferring to have just one or two at a time, so they get my full attention. I generally look after medium-sized dogs because this works well with my dog. I won't take dogs for a long period of time, unless I have had them on a trial day first. - I only accept dogs that are housetrained, with a good temperament and are in good health and up to date with flea and tick treatments. -Owners provide food and any other items the dog requires. I run my own business and work from home, so I run my diary around the dogs and walking time. When we are not walking, they are with me in my office or out in the decking, which is completely secure. I work around what your dog is use, trying to keep their routine the same. Their environment is safe with a double gate, and high fencing around around the decking. Noone has escaped in 6 years !
“Olha recently looked after my dog (Toby) whilst house sitting for a weekend. Olha is very trustworthy and kept in communication the whole time. She provided reassurance that Toby was doing okay, and sent updates including some pictures of him. Olha was amazing with Toby and looked after him so well that he didn’t want her to leave! Highly recommended.”
“Charlotte was fantastic from start to finish. As I was looking for a dog sitter for my puppy, whom I'd only brought home three weeks earlier, I was naturally quite anxious about leaving him for a few hours, let alone with someone I didn't know. I explained my concerns to Charlotte, and her reassurance, professionalism, and friendly personality immediately put me at ease and gave me the confidence to confirm the booking. On the day, Charlotte kept me informed about her arrival time and took the time to chat through our routine before we left. Throughout the day, I received plenty of pupdates, which made being away from my little Ralphy so much easier. I would 10000% book with Charlotte again and would happily recommend her services to anyone looking for a reliable and caring dog sitter. Thank you so much, I hope to book with you again soon! ❤️🙏”

“This was our first time using a pet sitter, so we were understandably a bit apprehensive - but as soon as we met Jo, we were completely put at ease! She did a fantastic job looking after our dog and cat, and kindly kept us updated on how their time together was going. Highly recommend!”

“I am very pleased as to how Chloe looked after the cat and the home while I was away in a different country. She sent several pictures per day, and I will be booking her again in the future!”

“Emma was so great with our Rupert! She accepted our booking super last minute and had a thorough phone call with us to understand Rupert before the sit. She was so attentive to him with lots of play as it was too hot for a walk, and sent us lots of updates with photos/videos while we were out which was so reassuring. Emma was also really considerate of our home. Definitely recommend!”

“Lara was great with Tryff and super helpful with a last minute booking for our wedding weekend. She brought him up to the venue for photos which was greatly appreciated. We'll happily use her again for when we're away at weekends.”

About: Hi, I’m Denise, a caring and reliable pet sitter with a lifelong love of animals. I grew up with dogs and cats, including rescue dogs, and have experience looking after dogs for friends and housemates, from walks and overnight stays to caring for them while their owners are away. I currently work part-time as a support worker with young adults with learning disabilities, which gives me plenty of flexibility. I treat every dog as if it were my own and always aim to make them feel safe, happy, and well cared for. I’m an outdoorsy person and enjoy long walks, so I’m happy to look after high-energy dogs as well as more relaxed ones. I also have experience with puppies, nervous dogs, and rescue dogs with challenging behaviours. I’d love to help look after your dog and make sure they’re well cared for while you’re away🐾 I also offer drop-in visits and dog walking! I currently work part-time as a support worker, so I have plenty of flexibility. My schedule changes weekly, but I’ll always do my best to accommodate your needs. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask! I always follow your pet’s usual routine as closely as possible, including feeding times, walks, and any specific instructions you provide. I make sure pets are supervised, comfortable, and secure at all times, and I’ll keep you updated with regular photos and messages if you ask for it so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. I can’t offer pet sitting in my own home at the moment, but I’m happy to travel anywhere within 30 miles

At times the owners dog crate is put in my car though many digs yravel in the front well area. I enjoy taking dogs out on trips eg National trust grounds or the beaches.
“It was great to be able to leave our rather difficult terrier in the capable hands of Patrick. We were able to relax and enjoy our time away knowing Reggie was happy and well cared for.”

About: Hello, We are Hannah and Sam and we've been full time global petsitters for over 3 years, from house cats in Dubai to Beagles in India. Now we are back in Exeter and want to continue our love for petsitting. We’ve been fortunate to receive many lovely reviews from pet owners who appreciate our attentive care, regular updates, and the bond we build with their pets which we are happy to share upon request! There are two of us on the profile, so your pet gets double the attention, double the love and double the care! It also means should an unforeseen event occur where one of us can't make it, you can rest easy knowing the other person can still manage the booking. Sam and I both grew up with dogs and have a deep understanding of what it takes to keep them comfortable and content. Whether it’s playing games, engaging in fun enrichment activities, or taking them on exciting walks, we treat every dog as if they are our own by making sure they feel loved, safe, and entertained while you're away! We are both local to Exeter so know of all the safe and fun walks. A dog’s routine is incredibly important to us, we find that sticking to their usual schedule keeps them happiest. Whether it's mealtime, walk times, or bedtime, we work around their routine to ensure they feel secure and comfortable. As I am self employed our schedule can align to theirs. Also, if house sitting they would have company and lots of attention throughout the day. We believe that communication is key, especially when it comes to your pet’s well-being. If we notice any changes in their behaviour or something seems off, we’ll keep you informed every step of the way, ensuring you always know how they’re doing. We have experience administering medication, including pills and topical treatments, and have cared for senior dogs, including those with hearing impairments. Whether your pet needs extra attention, a little patience, or simply their usual routine, we’re committed to making them feel safe, comfortable, and loved in our care.
“Mia was great. She arrived on time, took very good care of our dog Buddy. Everything was left in order, and Buddy was happy and comfortable. She was easy to communicate with and just really pleasant to work with. I'd be happy to have her dog-sit again.”

About: I have been on Rover for a little while now and I have walked dogs for clients and friends for the past 5 years and often sit dogs at my house for friends and family. I have had a very corporate job for past 3 years and am trying to get myself out of that world and start walking dogs and sitting dogs on a more permanent basis. I love being out in nature walking it’s my favourite thing to do. I love dogs so much, they just make me smile and make me feel good, I love spending time with them. I am a very respectful person, I treat peoples houses and dogs how I would like mine to be treated. I care for people’s dogs at my house with love and kindness as I do my own dog.

Charlotte was amazing! She came to meet Maple beforehand which was great. Maple is very high energy and excitable but that didn’t phase Charlotte at all and she was great with her. Maple was very happy and had an awesome time with Charlotte and I got regular updates. I would highly recommend her if you’re looking for someone to look after your pets.

Jade looked after our two retrievers for us whilst we got married. She was an absolute pro, read our instructions fully on their day to day routines and when we got home we could tell the dogs had been properly exercised, played with and loved whilst we'd been gone. She kept us up to date and sent us photos. Our boy is normally nervous but we received photos of him snuggling with her so that put our minds at ease fully! We will be looking to use her services again in the future! Thanks so much Jade! Zoë and Nick

From the first time we met Molly we just knew everything would be fine. Paddy, our cocker spaniel loved her from the outset. Molly is very patient, gentle, polite and is very punctual. She kept us well informed while we were away, with messages and pictures. We would highly recommend Molly as a dog sitter.
