“Mark took excellent care of Elvis whilst I was away overseas for a trip. Lots of being spoilt (walks and treats and love) for Elvis and lots of pictures and info for me about how he was doing. I came back to a very chilled out dog who didn’t look remotely stressed.”

“Nick communicated well throughout the process and was flexible and friendly. Our pup was well looked after and came home happy and healthy. We had daily photos and updates which was a lovely way to stay in touch.”

“Many thanks for looking after our 2 boys again. Its lovely to receive the videos of them enjoying themselves whilst we are away, it give us peace of mind to know they are being looked after so well whilst we are away. They both have different needs , one being 2 the other 15 . Absolutely cannot recommend highly enough. Thank you again Jacqui and Ralph”

“My dog Douglas had the best time staying with Talita, we got regular updates with videos and pictures of Douglas's walks and when he was in the home. He always looked like he was having the best time. He got to play with their dog Mala who is super friendly. I would 100% recommend Talita to anyone who is nervous about leaving their dog, we met up a couple times before I left him so we could get to know each other and for Douglas to become familiar with them and their home. He was happy to see me when I collected but quickly picked up toys and went back to playing with them whilst we spoke about his week. Generally the only people he likes playing with our us so it was really lovely to see how much more social this has made him. Thankyou for looking after him so well. Xxxx”

“We had a wonderful experience with Jenny! Absolutely amazing with our little boy, Monty. It was our first time using this service and we found it very easy and straightforward! Jenny was extremely delightful, friendly and kind. We felt confident and comfortable leaving our boy with her – and most of all, Monty enjoyed his time as he was well looked after! We will definitely be returning again :)”

“Absolutely fantastic! Great communication from enquiring, to booking a visit to make sure our dog got in well with Barney, to booking, before our stay and durn, we had regular videos and photos and communication with Matthew, when we messsaged we would get a reply pretty instantly which was lovely being our first time away from Belle. She has come back happy and content and believe that is all down to Matthew and the family making her so welcome, keeping her routines and the way she likes her bed and things. Thank you so so much, we will be booking again for this year as we feel so comfortable at ease, and Belle instantly took you.”

“I was very pleased to find Paige and Tom as my usual sitter was unavailable. They are very friendly and welcomed Maisey into their home I was slightly worried about Maisey as I had to take her to the vets a few days before her stay due to an ear infection but Paige made sure that Maisey was comfortable and cared for her so well. She responded to my communication quickly and sent photos to put me at ease. Leo, the Goldie, was the perfect playmate for Maisey. We will definitely use Paige and Tom again and I thoroughly recommend them to others.”

“For first time doggy owners, and this being the first time we've had someone look after our puppy, Sophie was amazing! She kept us updated with lots of photos and videos so we knew Tenno was safe and happy, and it was so nice for Tenno to have Beau to play with. It looked like he had a lot of fun, and will definitely want to go back!”

“Greg and Jill helped us out loads by taking our lovely boy Hendrix whilst we went away. We used the Rover app after searching for dog kennels. The app showed Greg and Jill and they were in the same town as us. We made contact and were accepted straight away. After the first contact we arranged to meet and Hendrix took to them immediately. During Hendrix’s stay Greg and Jill sent regular daily updates showing Hendrix having a great time. We will be going straight to Greg and Jill for any other dog boarding needs in the future. Cheers both!”

“Such a great sitter! Rhys is so flexible and great at replying quickly to make arrangements for our long distance doggy daycare whilst e visited family nearby. Scout seemed at home and well cared for. I’m sure scout will be back again next time we’re down this way”

“My dog didn’t want to come home!!! Maggie spoiled her with daily trips to the beaches and forest. I received all kinds of happy pictures and updates and she also picked up and dropped off my pup. She provided a second service of daily visits to my home for my cat and all those pictures were loving too. I will definitely use Maggie again.”

“Andrew is probably the world's greatest dog sitter! He takes Tiggy on wonderful adventures and returns her to us happy and worn out. Great communication throughout her visit. She loves going to stay with him so much! Thank you, Andrew! 🥰”

“Second stay with Fiona and our dog had a fantastic time. Received regular updates and lovely photographs. Obviously very well looked after and extremely happy when we picked up! Thank you so much”

“I am so grateful to Petrina for the wonderful care she gave my mini poodle cross during her 11 night stay. I was looking for a special holiday home for Willow and I certainly found it with Petrina and Tilley. Petrina sent regular updates and photos during Willow’s stay that left me in no doubt that she was receiving the same level of love and attention she receives at home. Willow came home from her holiday relaxed and happy. I would recommend Petrina as a carer without hesitation and hope to book Willow in for a stay when we next go away.”

“Absolutely fabulous. Obie was treated just like a niece or nephew being looked after by their auntie/ uncle. Obie is highly strung, demanding a needy rescue on his terms and well let’s just say it’s the first time he was left and on our return he appears not to have floundered. The extra walks he demanded ( that we would have said no) were provided sorry if you need new footwear, wet weather gear etc. would recommend in a heart beat. A clear love of dogs and their needs thanks sooooooo much xx”

“Muriel kept me informed for each visit with photos ~ I could relax knowing that Muriel was aware of the cats needs. I can recommend Muriel and I have her booked for my next holiday.”

“I was bedbound and completely unable to give my cat, Buddy, the active playtime he needs. Ella came over, pulled out the wand toys, and wore Buddy out with so much fun and energy. She was gentle, reliable, and sent the cutest updates. It gave me total peace of mind to rest and recover knowing Buddy was so well cared for. I highly recommend Ella to anyone looking for a wonderful cat sitter.”

“We could only enjoy our holiday knowing our cat Lani was happy – and with Freya, she truly was. She got the cuddles she wanted and the daily heart tablets she needed. We loved the beautiful updates and their sweet moment captured on our doorbell cam. We’ll book Freya again next time.”

“Catriona was lovely to meet and our cat was well behaved and happy to play with her. Followed our instructions whilst away and kept to agreed visit times. Would recommend her if looking for a cat sitter.”

“Chloe was keen to adapt to meet my cat’s needs and gave him the comfort and care he needed while I was away. All communication was good and Chloe was quick to respond when sorting out the booking and while I was away.”

About: I have previous experience owning and caring for cats, having had several cats over the years. Although we don’t currently have any pets, I am very comfortable around cats and understand their needs, behaviour and boundaries. My children are also familiar with cats and are gentle and respectful around them. They understand that cats need their own space and will leave them alone when they show that they have had enough interaction.

“I can thoroughly recommend Tabitha. I was very impressed that Tabitha was happy to meet beforehand as I wasn’t going to be at home when she arrived to pop in to check on Ziggy, so it was important to me that Ziggy met her beforehand. Tabitha sent me some lovely photos of Ziggy playing with a puzzle toy and her snuffle mat. It was obvious that Ziggy felt relaxed and enjoyed Tabitha’s company. I will certainly ask Tabitha to look after Ziggy again .”

About: I've grown up with a variety of pets my whole life and have always been an immense animal lover! Because of this, I am often relied on by friends and family to look after their fur-babies whilst they are away and also have lots of experience house-sitting. I'm at my happiest when I'm around dogs and animals and giving them the love and attention they deserve. I own my own home so I'm therefore very responsible and respectful of whoever's home I'm staying in. I will be sure to follow your instructions regarding pet care and certain things around the house. I currently work full-time Monday to Friday so I would be available to look after your pup(s) from late afternoon on Friday until Sunday evening (or early Monday morning). On some occasions if need be, it may be possible for me to work remotely from your home (if WiFi permits and dependant on your facilities but I would need plenty of notice for this). Over the weekend I will be on hand every couple of hours to give your fur-babies my undivided attention, walkies and play time! I would also be available to pop in for checks and short walks during weekday evenings as well. I have a handsome miniature dachshund who keeps me company while I work from home during the week. I have a fenced and secure garden and have a car seat cover that covers the entire back seat meaning we can go further afield for walks as where we live has lots to offer on our doorstep for a variety of walks and terrain. We tend to go on two walks a day and perhaps a longer, more adventurous one on the weekends.

About: I have over four years of experience caring for cats of all ages, from playful kittens to older cats, as well as rescue cats who may need a little extra patience and understanding. I love taking the time to get to know each cat's individual personality and making sure they feel safe, comfortable and loved while their owners are away. 🐾

“Victor had a lovely day with his new friends Mark and the other dogs. We had loads of video and photo updates, which were great as it showed how well he was getting on. Victor definitely wants to see Mark again. Thank you.”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats since I was around 10 for neighbours and friends and family I have reptile and equine experience I’m currently only working part time and am informed of my shifts days in advanced which opens up my schedule to more hours during the week! I have a fenced garden and a park just opposite my house which is mostly enclosed, I can take your pet on multiple walks a day and they shouldn’t be alone for more than a couple hours at a time :)
“We left our lurcher with Danielle whilst we went to a rugby match. Despite the pouring rain she took her out for a walk (thank you)! She had 1 other dog there and they did not get along when they met so she kept them separate, which seemed to work well.”

“We couldn’t recommend Tilly highly enough. From the very first moment, she showed such a calm, thoughtful and genuinely caring approach, always putting Romy’s comfort and wellbeing first. She really took the time to help her feel relaxed and at ease, which made a huge difference for us. Throughout the day, Romy was clearly in the best hands. When we picked her up, she was completely herself: happy, confident and relaxed… and once we got home, she collapsed straight into a deep sleep, which says everything about how much positive activity, play and engagement she’d had! It’s obvious that Tilly truly understands dogs and creates a lovely, balanced environment, especially with her own sweet cockapoo, Lila. Romy had an amazing time, and we felt totally reassured knowing she was being cared for so thoughtfully. We wouldn’t hesitate for a second to book with Tilly again and would warmly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, kind and fantastic dog sitter. Thank you so much, Tilly! Romy can’t wait to come back! 🐾💛”

About: I've had pets all my life from. From the time I could walk, I've taken care of our family Golden retriever, later on my adorable Patterjack terrier, and now Lurcher and Belgian shepherd. That's been alongside 3 ponies / horses, rabbits, guinea pigs, 5 cats and a bird. My two dogs (Lurcher and shepherd) are incredibly friendly and playful and we have regular doggie visitors including my sister's Segugio 'Bobby' and family friend Cocker Spaniel 'Lottie'. So my offer to you is that if you have a dog who is friendly, playful, and likes the company of other dogs, they will be very welcome here! I'm recently retired so have very few commitments and am available to look after dogs most of the time. I take my two dogs out for country walks daily and could take yours too. I have a fenced garden and two friendly dogs to keep your dog company. They can all play together if you wish, but if not, I can separate them, putting your dog in the living room - I'd rather they played together if possible though.

About: I've had dogs most of life: as loved family pets and taking care of friends and neighbours dogs for long and short stays. I love going out on the beach for a long walk with them, up on the common or playing games at home. I have 1 family dog who comes to stay often who is blind so I'm used to dogs who need a bit more love and attention. We'll start with a morning walk on the beach or the Maer, some breakfast and then a couple of hours down time until a lunch time wander. After work, we'll have a longer walk over the cliffs, on the common or along the beach. Can play fetch or other games and then home for a chilled evening. I work full time mostly from home and only have doggos to stay on days I am at home. I can use a crate for your dog if needed, or have plenty of space for a bed of theirs. They can bring toys over too. I don't have a garden but live right by the beach and gardens and can go out during the day as well as morning and after work if they need it. I'm happy to have your dog overnight too.

“Erin was amazing throughout Minnie’s stay! She communicated well, was very reliable and friendly! I felt very comfortable with leaving Minnie with Erin! Minnie had a lovely time, she didn’t want to leave Erin’s house in the end! I would trust Erin with Minnie again and would highly recommend Erin to all my friends and family! Thank you so much!”

“Lisa is very friendly, welcoming and she clearly loves dogs. Teddy had a wonderful day with her and Biscuit. She was flexible with drop off and pick up times.Lots of lovely walks and Biscuit was great canine company too! 😃 Thank you Lisa and Biscuit 🐶”

About: My family got our first dog at aged 10, and our second when I was 17. I have cared for them both since they were puppies- teaching them to wait for food, fetch, lie down and even high five! As my first dog got older, I learnt how to be respectful of him as he didn't want to be played with all the time and was slightly more temperamental. This taught me to be patient and how to be around older dogs. Our second dog is a playful cocker spaniel with bundles of energy, always wanting to go on walks, which I am of course happy to do! I can therefore care for dogs of all ages and of many different natures as each one is unique and special in their own way. I am available anytime between 22nd July and 1st September. If I am unavailable, my sister can usually cover bookings- she is a Uni student studying animal science and bioveterinary course so has lots of experience with animals! I am able to do house visits and am happy to feed, play with or even just sit with the dog to keep them company! I can have pets in my home, but only if they get on with other dogs and small animals. I can do a whole day visit, a quick stop in, or I can take them on walks. I will send pupdates throughout the day of your fur babies so you don't have to stress while you're away from home!

About: I have worked for multiple zoos across the UK including Paignton Zoo, ZSL Whipsnade Zoo, Noah’s Ark Zoo Farm, and for the best part of my career 10 years specialising in the care of elephants. I grew up with English Springer Spaniels as my family dogs regularly taking them on walks to the beach or Dartmoor and around twelve months ago rescued a cat all the way from Dubai. I have achieved full qualifications in animal care and animal management through my studies also completed several training courses. I have a very flexible job that enables me to work from home therefore I have plenty of free time to go on walks and focus on pet sitting. We live in Kingsteignton with a fully secure garden so outdoor access can always be provided and have plenty of nice walks on our doorstep perfect for dogs. We have no children and Janice the cat is our only pet however can easily be separated into her own area of the house. If you’re interested in my services or have any questions, feel free to message me for further details and I will be happy to help. I look forward to meeting you and your loyal companions! 🐾 I am a highly reliable genuine person who you can trust with your beloved pets whilst providing a professional friendly service. “Alberto was absolutely brilliant with Gizmo and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better first daycare experience. Gizmo had a full day of lovely walks, socialising with another dog and lots of stimulation, and it was clear from the photos/videos that he was having an amazing time and was really comfortable and happy. Communication was great, and Alberto was really calm, kind, reassuring and knowledgeable. Gizmo came home happy, relaxed and completely exhausted 😂 Would absolutely recommend and will definitely be booking again. Thank you so much!”

About: Please note: Although my dog Jack has a Rover profile, he does not stay at my house when I’m boarding other dogs, so there will be no resident dog present during your dog’s stay. I have been on Rover for a little while now and I have walked dogs for clients and friends for the past 5 years and often sit dogs at my house for friends and family. I have had a very corporate job for past 3 years and am trying to get myself out of that world and start walking dogs and sitting dogs on a more permanent basis. I love being out in nature walking it’s my favourite thing to do. I love dogs so much, they just make me smile and make me feel good, I love spending time with them. I am a very respectful person, I treat peoples houses and dogs how I would like mine to be treated. I care for people’s dogs at my house with love and kindness as I do my own dog.

About: From looking after multiple dogs, house sitting and using rover to find my doggo Lennie a place to stay when I go away - Rover is brilliant! I have always had dogs, and trained Lennie along with some of his doggo friends. I would love to be able to care for more doggos! I have had multiple dogs stay before and had a great time. I currently have flexibility, whether that’s needing a house dog sitter or walks Monday - Sunday. Lennie can join for walks or I can walk your dog separately. Lennie also doesn’t have to come for overnight stays if preferred no other dog to be there. I am good at noticing dogs behaviours, and having Lennie the place is set up for dogs! All food far away from access, tons of water bowls and fenced garden. Lennie is very good with other dogs in the house, and if I noticed a doggo feeling anxious or unwell I would straight away notify and make sure they are as comfortable as they can be.

“Many thanks for looking after our 2 boys again. Its lovely to receive the videos of them enjoying themselves whilst we are away, it give us peace of mind to know they are being looked after so well whilst we are away. Xxxx”

“I honestly can’t say enough good things about Yves!! Drew had an absolutely perfect week with her & Nick & sent me gorgeous daily photos and videos & kept me updated, which gave me peace of mind initially but also brought me so much joy as I missed her so much. She was so well taken care of & had an amazing social life going to a family bbq & out & about locally to parks & gardens every day & socialising with other dogs. I thoroughly recommend Yves, especially as Drew is not fully housetrained due to her age & being a Frenchie, she wasn’t phased in the slightest & has become very fond of Drew - I’m booking her again for two weeks time! Thank you so much Yves & Nick for making Drew so happy & treating her as if she were your own, she certainly loves you ♥️”

“Hi, Erin was fantastic with Guinness, she was on time and sent updates to us. When we went to collect Guinness he seemed very happy with Erin. Also very good communication. We will be using Erin again and would highly recommend her. 👍🐕🦺🐕🦺”

“Felt 100% confident leaving my dog with Sarah. She listened to everything we said, was super-friendly, and kindly sent photos of Sydney having a great time. Highly recommend!”

“I am both glad and relieved that we found Danielle, we were so worried about leaving him with somebody new. We were given constant updates and sent photos of him, clearly enjoying his stay. It made our weekend away so much more relaxing, without the worry of Arthur being safe and happy. He even bonded with her two year old son, who was quite upset when we came to collect him. We will definitely use Danielle again and cannot thank her enough for her care and communication.”

“Tilly did a fantastic job of looking after our terrier Buzz for the evening while we saw friends. She sent lots of photo updates and it was clear to see he was having a fab time with his new friends. Thanks Tilly, we will definitely be rebooking you in the future!”

“Vanessa took wonderful care of my dog. Zoe 🐶 came home calm, happy, and clearly well looked after. I’ll definitely be using Vanessa again and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring dog sitter.”

“Oswald had a lovely time with Harrison and came back very happy! Harrison was very communicative and sent some lovely pictures of Oz which put me at ease. I'll definitely use him again in the future.”
