My Olde english bulldog (ted) came to visit nick and his family. He had the best time playing with max (the family dog). Nick provided updates and sent us photos during his stay. Ted went out on new walks with nick and Max. Ted is super excited to come back next month. It's really nice to know our furbaby is left with such a lovely family and is really well looked after when we are away. Would HIGHLY recommend !!!

Kate was an amazing dog sitter for Crumpet! She has such a good knowledge of dogs and gave individual time and attention to him and his needs. She went above and beyond to give him the best time whilst I was away.and I felt so reassured that he was in good hands. Thank you to Kate and her beautiful family. We will use Kate again without question!

Talita, Neil and Mala made Blue very welcome and she had a great time staying over the weekend with them. I got regular updates which put my mind at rest. It was wonderful to see her having a great time and being fussed over. Thank you for a fabulous experience. I recommend them.

About: Hi, I'm Dawn, and I'd love to welcome your dog into my home while you're away. As a lifelong dog lover and owner of a friendly young Sprocker Spaniel, I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust. My aim is to provide a safe, calm and loving home where your dog will be treated like one of the family—not just another booking. Your dog will enjoy plenty of walks, playtime, enrichment, cuddles and attention, along with a comfortable place to relax after a fun day. I'll stick to your dog's usual routine as much as possible to help them feel settled and happy. I'm experienced in caring for others through my professional background in training and care, and I bring that same patience, reliability and attention to detail to looking after every dog. Whether your dog is energetic and loves adventures or prefers a slower pace, I'll make sure they receive the care that's right for them. I'll also keep you updated with regular photos and messages, so you can enjoy your time away knowing your dog is happy, safe and well cared for. I can't wait to meet you and your four-legged friend! Dog care fits naturally into my daily routine because I genuinely enjoy spending my time with my own dog. My Sprocker Spaniel is a much-loved part of the family and loves spending tine with other dogs, so our days already revolve around walks, playtime, training, enrichment and plenty of cuddles. I work flexibly, which means I can provide lots of company, regular toilet breaks and plenty of attention throughout the day. I enjoy getting outdoors whatever the weather, so your dog will receive the exercise and mental stimulation they need, balanced with time to relax in a calm, comfortable home. I believe every dog deserves to feel safe, loved and included, so when your dog stays with me, they'll be treated as part of the family and cared for just as I care for my own. On the odd day that I have to attend my physical work place, my partner, Neil, works from home so the dogs are never left on their own. My priority is making sure your dog feels safe, relaxed and loved. I'll take the time to get to know your dog's routine, personality and any specific needs so I can provide care that's familiar and reassuring. I have a fully enclosed garden and live close to the beach as well as several nice dog walking areas so every trip out is an adventure. I'll ensure they have regular walks, plenty of playtime, fresh water, meals according to your instructions, and lots of affection and companionship. I'll also keep up with any training routines, medication or special requirements if needed. If your dog stays in my home, they'll be welcomed as part of the family in a calm, comfortable environment with plenty of attention and opportunities to rest, play and explore. If I'm caring for them in your home, I'll stick as closely as possible to your dog's normal routine to help them feel settled while you're away. I'll keep you updated with regular photos and messages, so you can relax knowing your dog is happy, safe and receiving the same love and care I'd want for my own.

Our young labrador Poppy stayed with Matteo for two nights while we were in the area for a wedding, and we are so glad to have found such a reliable and kind-hearted dog sitter. Matteo was kind enough to accept my request of a video call before we finalised the booking, which helped to put our minds at rest - as this was the first time we had used Rover. Upon arrival in his home, we were shown around, and he made sure to ask us plenty of questions about her feeding and walking schedule. We were then kept up-to-date throughout the weekend with photos of Poppy cuddling up to Matteo on the sofa, or them playing fetch on the beach near his home. Poppy seemed very relaxed when we came to pick her up. We would highly recommend his services! Thank you Matteo.

About: I am an experienced dog owner, and fosterer for a couple of rescues. I have fostered lots of different breeds from Yorkshire terriers and dachshunds, to poodles and pomskys! I am confident handling nervous and quirky dogs. I welcome every dog into my home as if they are my own. I work for a dog food company and my whole live revolves around giving dogs the best life possible. I work fully remotely from home with flexible hours so I can adapt my routine to fit your dogs needs. Typically our routine is made up of 3 walks a day, and a last wee break before bed! But I can cater to any needs and requirements. I have a fully fenced (6ft) enclosed garden, dogs have full access to when required via patio doors. I have 2 friendly resident dogs - a 14kg mixed breed female and a 9kg male poodle. Both are neutered & are rescues but are used to dogs coming and going! I do have a house cat, but he can be kept separately from any visiting dogs as and when necessary. Dogs are allowed in my bedroom / bed at night if needed.

About: I’ve always had a deep love for animals, especially dogs, and caring for them is something I genuinely enjoy. I work full-time but over three condensed days, which means I have plenty of time during the rest of the week to dedicate to dog walking, sitting, and giving dogs the attention they deserve. I share my life with a rescue dog who is incredibly friendly and has never met another dog he didn’t like. We spend our days off exploring all kinds of places together—coastal paths, woodlands, beaches, as well as towns, villages, shops, and dog-friendly cafés. I understand how important enrichment, exercise, and socialisation are for a happy, well-balanced dog. I have a particular passion for rescue dogs and believe every dog deserves a fulfilling, loving life, regardless of their start. I’m patient, attentive, and mindful of each dog’s individual needs, whether that’s high-energy adventures or a calmer, more relaxed pace. I’ve looked after many friends’ dogs over the years, from regular walks to overnight stays, and I always treat them as if they were my own. There’s nothing more rewarding than seeing a dog go home happy, content, and tired after a fun day. If you’re looking for someone reliable, caring, and genuinely passionate about dogs to look after your pet, I’d love to help. Pet care fits naturally into my routine. I work full-time over three condensed days, which means I have several days each week fully available for dog walking and sitting. My schedule is known up to 8 weeks in advance, so I can plan ahead and accommodate bookings where possible. On my days off, I usually start the day with a morning walk between 9–10am, lasting at least an hour. In good weather, this can turn into longer outings of several hours, with breaks for rest, water, and lunch. I also provide a shorter, calmer evening walk around 6pm for 20–30 minutes. Dogs in my care have regular access to the garden for toilet breaks throughout the day, and I always ensure a final toilet break around 9pm before settling in for the night. I’m happy to adapt my routine depending on each dog’s needs, whether they prefer longer adventures or a more relaxed pace. I provide a safe, relaxed, and home-from-home environment where dogs are treated like part of the family. In my home, dogs are welcome in all areas and can choose where they feel most comfortable—whether that’s on the sofa or in their own bed in the lounge. I have a fully secure, fenced garden with no external access, so they can safely enjoy time outside whenever needed. I don’t use crates, but I may be able to accommodate one for smaller dogs if that’s part of their usual routine. For overnight stays, dogs are welcome upstairs and can sleep on my bed or in the spare room—whatever helps them feel most settled and secure. Although my own dog is not food reactive, I always feed dogs separately to ensure they each eat their own meals safely and at their own pace. When caring for pets in an owner’s home, I am very respectful of routines and house rules. I would need to bring my own friendly, well-socialised dog with me, and I’m happy to follow your preferences—whether that’s keeping dogs off furniture or maintaining specific routines.

About: I have previous experience owning and caring for cats, having had several cats over the years. Although we don’t currently have any pets, I am very comfortable around cats and understand their needs, behaviour and boundaries. My children are also familiar with cats and are gentle and respectful around them. They understand that cats need their own space and will leave them alone when they show that they have had enough interaction.

She sent us lots of photos, videos and updates every day, which gave us so much peace of mind. It was so lovely to see how happy the cats were with her. Nikki is such a kind and genuine person who really cares about the pets she looks after. She even made sure we had a plan in place in case our flight home was delayed, so we knew the cats would always be looked after. We also came home to a lovely tidy house, which was so nice after a long journey. We’ll definitely be booking her again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone. About: I've had dogs most of life: as loved family pets and taking care of friends and neighbours dogs for long and short stays. I love going out on the beach for a long walk with them, up on the common or playing games at home. I have 1 family dog who comes to stay often who is blind so I'm used to dogs who need a bit more love and attention. We'll start with a morning walk on the beach or the Maer, some breakfast and then a couple of hours down time until a lunch time wander. After work, we'll have a longer walk over the cliffs, on the common or along the beach. Can play fetch or other games and then home for a chilled evening. I work full time mostly from home and only have doggos to stay on days I am at home. I can use a crate for your dog if needed, or have plenty of space for a bed of theirs. They can bring toys over too. I don't have a garden but live right by the beach and gardens and can go out during the day as well as morning and after work if they need it. I'm happy to have your dog overnight too.

About: Please note: Although my dog Jack has a Rover profile, he does not stay at my house when I’m boarding other dogs, so there will be no resident dog present during your dog’s stay. I have been on Rover for a little while now and I have walked dogs for clients and friends for the past 5 years and often sit dogs at my house for friends and family. I have had a very corporate job for past 3 years and am trying to get myself out of that world and start walking dogs and sitting dogs on a more permanent basis. I love being out in nature walking it’s my favourite thing to do. I love dogs so much, they just make me smile and make me feel good, I love spending time with them. I am a very respectful person, I treat peoples houses and dogs how I would like mine to be treated. I care for people’s dogs at my house with love and kindness as I do my own dog.

About: Hi, I'm Vikki, and animals have always been a huge part of my life. Caring for pets isn't just something I do—it's something I genuinely love and have been passionate about for as long as I can remember. I share my home with my partner, my mum and my furbabies. I've always had a soft spot for rescue aniamls and some of my most rewarding experiences have come from being lucky to have given them a second chance of a loving secure and happy home. My experience isn't limited to dogs – I've also owned rescue cats and rabbits giving me a good understanding of the care and attention different animals require. I am an RSPCA volunteer and qualified dog groomer and am committed to providing safe, reliable, and compassionate loving care, Whether it's dog walking, pet sitting, or providing companionship while you're away, you can have peace of mind knowing your pets will be treated as if they were my own. Whether your dog enjoys long walks, playtime, cuddles on the sofa, or simply sticking to their usual routine, I'll make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while you're away. I look forward to meeting your furry family member. I recently made the decision to step away from full-time work to focus on what I'm truly passionate about – caring for animals. This means I have plenty of time to dedicate to your pets and provide them with the attention, companionship, and care they deserve. I'm available 7 days a week and can be flexible to suit your schedule and your pet's individual needs. Whether you need regular walks, daytime visits, overnight care, or help at short notice, I'll always do my best to accommodate you. As a car owner, I'm able to travel locally and can provide reliable transport when needed. Alongside pet sitting and dog grooming, I'm continuing to develop my knowledge and skills by studying animal welfare & training qualifications through online industry recognised certificated courses. Combined with my experience as an RSPCA volunteer and qualified dog groomer, this allows me to provide the highest standard of care for every pet I look after. I am committed to maintaining a safe environment at all times, following your pet’s routine closely and keeping you updated for complete peace of mind. I take the time to build trust with every pet, ensuring they receive plenty of attention, exercise, enrichment, and affection.

Yves and Nick were absolutely fantastic with Romy. She’s still very much a puppy, so I’m always a bit nervous leaving her with someone new, but they made her feel comfortable almost straight away. Communication was great throughout the day and it was so reassuring to get regular updates and photos. What really stood out though was that Yves’ partner (Nick) was also there, fully involved the whole time… you can tell they genuinely enjoyed playing with Romy and keeping her entertained, not just “watching” her. It honestly feels like, for them, this isn’t simply dog sitting as a job, they really want the dog to have the best time ever. And that’s such a huge thing for any owner, but especially when you’ve got a young puppy and you just want to know they’re happy, settled, and having fun. We’ll definitely be booking again.

Alberto was absolutely brilliant with Gizmo and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better first daycare experience. Gizmo had a full day of lovely walks, socialising with another dog and lots of stimulation, and it was clear from the photos/videos that he was having an amazing time and was really comfortable and happy. Communication was great, and Alberto was really calm, kind, reassuring and knowledgeable. Gizmo came home happy, relaxed and completely exhausted 😂 Would absolutely recommend and will definitely be booking again. Thank you so much!

About: I have had animals since forever, I can’t imagine life without them. I have a lot of love, time and energy for any furry creature I meet! We live in a gorgeous village in the countryside and can offer your pets beautiful walks with lovely surroundings and cuddles by the fire in our cottage. My partner and I are home 24/7, as well as our malinois/husky Otto, who is desperate to make new friends! We take him to a large park near our house for at least 1hr a day, and often go to the beach, river or forest on the weekends for a long walk and of course a game of fetch! Our house is very dog/puppy safe with a good sized secure garden, furniture that is animal friendly and set up for cuddles. We have a car and easy access to local parks, rivers and lovely walks around the village.

About: I’m a reliable, calm, trusted dog owner & sitter with experience of small & large breeds. I have had dogs all my life and grew up with dogs in the household. I have trained my own dog to a very high standard of recall and manners, and he gets along with all other dogs. My calm & confident approach has resulted in a harmonious, calm household that pets I have looked after settle into quickly. I live a fairly active lifestyle, so we are out and about every day for a nice long walk. We love to walk down along the river weather permitting, and we go to Exmouth a couple of times a week for a good run on the beach. We also like to chill in town at a few dog friendly cafes, where they get lots of fuss, so of course your dog would be with us as much as possible. I live in a garden basement flat with direct access to a large, secure, enclosed garden that they access to all day. The garden is surrounded on all sides by a 7ft high solid brick wall that is escape proof, perfect for the dogs to free roam and play in complete safety at their leisure. I live 50 metres from Belmont Park which we visit several times a day, weather permitting. The park is perfect for dogs to socialise as we have a large group of local dog walkers that meet daily.

About: I've grown up with a variety of pets my whole life and have always been an immense animal lover! Because of this, I am often relied on by friends and family to look after their fur-babies whilst they are away and also have lots of experience house-sitting. I'm at my happiest when I'm around dogs and animals and giving them the love and attention they deserve. I own my own home so I'm therefore very responsible and respectful of whoever's home I'm staying in. I will be sure to follow your instructions regarding pet care and certain things around the house. I currently work full-time Monday to Friday so I would be available to look after your pup(s) from late afternoon on Friday until Sunday evening (or early Monday morning). On some occasions if need be, it may be possible for me to work remotely from your home (if WiFi permits and dependant on your facilities but I would need plenty of notice for this). Over the weekend I will be on hand every couple of hours to give your fur-babies my undivided attention, walkies and play time! I would also be available to pop in for checks and short walks during weekday evenings as well. I have a handsome miniature dachshund who keeps me company while I work from home during the week. I have a fenced and secure garden and have a car seat cover that covers the entire back seat meaning we can go further afield for walks as where we live has lots to offer on our doorstep for a variety of walks and terrain. We tend to go on two walks a day and perhaps a longer, more adventurous one on the weekends.

About: My family got our first dog at aged 10, and our second when I was 17. I have cared for them both since they were puppies- teaching them to wait for food, fetch, lie down and even high five! As my first dog got older, I learnt how to be respectful of him as he didn't want to be played with all the time and was slightly more temperamental. This taught me to be patient and how to be around older dogs. Our second dog is a playful cocker spaniel with bundles of energy, always wanting to go on walks, which I am of course happy to do! I can therefore care for dogs of all ages and of many different natures as each one is unique and special in their own way. I am available anytime between 22nd July and 1st September. If I am unavailable, my sister can usually cover bookings- she is a Uni student studying animal science and bioveterinary course so has lots of experience with animals! I am able to do house visits and am happy to feed, play with or even just sit with the dog to keep them company! I can have pets in my home, but only if they get on with other dogs and small animals. I can do a whole day visit, a quick stop in, or I can take them on walks. I will send pupdates throughout the day of your fur babies so you don't have to stress while you're away from home!

About: From looking after multiple dogs, house sitting and using rover to find my doggo Lennie a place to stay when I go away - Rover is brilliant! I have always had dogs, and trained Lennie along with some of his doggo friends. I would love to be able to care for more doggos! I have had multiple dogs stay before and had a great time. I currently have flexibility, whether that’s needing a house dog sitter or walks Monday - Sunday. Lennie can join for walks or I can walk your dog separately. Lennie also doesn’t have to come for overnight stays if preferred no other dog to be there. I am good at noticing dogs behaviours, and having Lennie the place is set up for dogs! All food far away from access, tons of water bowls and fenced garden. Lennie is very good with other dogs in the house, and if I noticed a doggo feeling anxious or unwell I would straight away notify and make sure they are as comfortable as they can be.

About: I have lived with dogs all my life and I enjoy going on long walks with them. I have dog sat and cat sat before. I have even been to a voluntary week long naughty but nice dog training camp. I love spending time with all animals. During my time at university in Plymouth I dog and cat sat and absolutely loved it. I had many different types of bookings over the years. I have looked after cats and dogs from a young age to an adult age. I love walking it makes me happy, I love to be around the countryside and to go out for long walks. I love to sit and watch the water at the hoe or sit in the woods and listen to the trees. I now live in Crediton and have a job as a support worker in a care home but I love dog walking and I miss it. So I'm here to help you when you need it. To walk your dogs and go the occasional drop in on the side of my job caring for people. I have a full time job as a support worker however my I have a lot of spare time between working. I have a car and can drive to give your dog the best walk possible. I offer some drop in services on animals while your at work.

Fiona was really responsive to messages and sent photos of what they had been up to with our dog. He seemed to have had a lovely time and was clearly given lots of fuss. Thank you again!

Yung hon and her partner were sooo good with my dog. It was his first time being away from the house and honestly he was treated like an angel. They’re very gentle with dogs. 100% booking again 🤗

Danielle stepped in at extremely short notice after another ‘super’ sitter let us down. Nothing was too much trouble and Paddy had a great time. Heartily recommend.

From the first contact and meet and greet we felt confident that Holly and Giles would be excellent sitters for our two dogs. They quickly established a great rapport and are clearly experienced, knowledgable and passionate about dogs. We wouldn't hesitate in recommending them and will be booking again very soon.

Charlotte and Josh were wonderful carers for our dog while we were away on holiday - easygoing and knowledgeable, reassuring and flexible, they sent us regular updates and brilliantly navigated some difficulties that arode in a really accommodating, professional and sympathetic manner. We couldn't have asked for more, and we wholeheartedly recommend them for your dog-caring. Thank you to you both!

Cherie went put of her way to make Mitsu comfortable in her house, sleeping in front of the fire, & when the bit of chicken I had left her in addition to her normal food, as she wasn't eating very well Cherie supplied her with some more. Above and beyond expectation. Thank you

I honestly can’t put into words how grateful I am that I found Georgina. We were on a family holiday and discovered last minute that our lodge didn’t allow dogs. Not knowing anyone in the area, I was really upset at the thought of leaving him with a stranger. I messaged Georgina and within minutes she replied — and within the hour, she was there. From the moment we met, she was kind, calm, and incredibly reassuring. She immediately put me at ease. She kept me updated throughout with regular messages and photos, which meant so much, and she even helped with pick-up and drop-off. Thank you so much again, Georgina — you truly made a stressful situation so much easier, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend you.

About: I had dogs all of my childhood and now look after my friends and family’s dogs frequently! I’m caring and patient and I love dogs. I’m currently on summer holidays as I work in a school so have the time to really care for your beloved pet. I live close to The Quay for long morning walks and Barton fields for nice evening walks. I have a walled garden and a good sized open plan downstairs so there is good space for your pet. I’m tidy and like to keep a clean smoke free home.
