“My dog Douglas had the best time staying with Talita, we got regular updates with videos and pictures of Douglas's walks and when he was in the home. He always looked like he was having the best time. He got to play with their dog Mala who is super friendly. I would 100% recommend Talita to anyone who is nervous about leaving their dog, we met up a couple times before I left him so we could get to know each other and for Douglas to become familiar with them and their home. He was happy to see me when I collected but quickly picked up toys and went back to playing with them whilst we spoke about his week. Generally the only people he likes playing with our us so it was really lovely to see how much more social this has made him. Thankyou for looking after him so well. Xxxx”

About: I've had pets all my life from. From the time I could walk, I've taken care of our family Golden retriever, later on my adorable Patterjack terrier, and now Lurcher and Belgian shepherd. That's been alongside 3 ponies / horses, rabbits, guinea pigs, 5 cats and a bird. My two dogs (Lurcher and shepherd) are incredibly friendly and playful and we have regular doggie visitors including my sister's Segugio 'Bobby' and family friend Cocker Spaniel 'Lottie'. So my offer to you is that if you have a dog who is friendly, playful, and likes the company of other dogs, they will be very welcome here! I'm recently retired so have very few commitments and am available to look after dogs most of the time. I take my two dogs out for country walks daily and could take yours too. I have a fenced garden and two friendly dogs to keep your dog company. They can all play together if you wish, but if not, I can separate them, putting your dog in the living room - I'd rather they played together if possible though.

My Boston Terrier Griff, Frenchie Margot, and cats Riley & Rosa would stay at home with family while I was with yours. Having said that, Griff and Margot are always up for playdates if it were suitable to you I can be fully at home from Fri evening to Tuesday early morning. I may be able to book additional days as annual leave with 6 weeks or more notice I will ensure your pets have the same routine and service that they have with you so that they won't be disrupted or unsettled while you're away from home

In good weather, this can turn into longer outings of several hours, with breaks for rest, water, and lunch. I also provide a shorter, calmer evening walk around 6pm for 20–30 minutes. Dogs in my care have regular access to the garden for toilet breaks throughout the day, and I always ensure a final toilet break around 9pm before settling in for the night. I’m happy to adapt my routine depending on each dog’s needs, whether they prefer longer adventures or a more relaxed pace. I provide a safe, relaxed, and home-from-home environment where dogs are treated like part of the family. Because of this, I am often relied on by friends and family to look after their fur-babies whilst they are away and also have lots of experience house-sitting. Over the weekend I will be on hand every couple of hours to give your fur-babies my undivided attention, walkies and play time! I would also be available to pop in for checks and short walks during weekday evenings as well. I have a handsome miniature dachshund who keeps me company while I work from home during the week. I have a fenced and secure garden and have a car seat cover that covers the entire back seat meaning we can go further afield for walks as where we live has lots to offer on our doorstep for a variety of walks and terrain. We tend to go on two walks a day and perhaps a longer, more adventurous one on the weekends.

About: Dogs have been a part of my life for decades now, particularly JRTs! We have two: Monty (5) and Meadow (4) who can be loud, but are super friendly and gentle. I work from home so long walks at some of Devon’s best spots daily! :) Our days start early with our first walk around 6 am! Our longest walk/trip usually takes place around midday (2 hours +). Our third and final walk is a shorter one in the evening around 7 pm. I work from home so spend a lot of time with our dogs every day! We live in a quiet dog friendly village with lots of different walks available in the area. We have a small garden which is fenced off and secure so our dogs always have the option to spend time outside when they want to. The house is very spacious and our pets as well as guests are allowed everywhere including on the sofa!

About: I've had dogs most of life: as loved family pets and taking care of friends and neighbours dogs for long and short stays. I love going out on the beach for a long walk with them, up on the common or playing games at home. I have 1 family dog who comes to stay often who is blind so I'm used to dogs who need a bit more love and attention. We'll start with a morning walk on the beach or the Maer, some breakfast and then a couple of hours down time until a lunch time wander. After work, we'll have a longer walk over the cliffs, on the common or along the beach. Can play fetch or other games and then home for a chilled evening. I work full time mostly from home and only have doggos to stay on days I am at home. I can use a crate for your dog if needed, or have plenty of space for a bed of theirs. They can bring toys over too. I don't have a garden but live right by the beach and gardens and can go out during the day as well as morning and after work if they need it. I'm happy to have your dog overnight too.

About: We have looked after dogs when friends go on holiday we have had our own dogs over the years a red setter called Sammy and our grandson German Shepard called Riley We have done puppy walking for the blind and looked after her for a year before she was trained as a guide dog. I worked in a veterinary practice over the last year but my contract has now finished. Before this I was a physiotherapist for 30 years specialising in children for the last 23 years but have made the decision to leave the NHS and branch into a new career/direction. About: My family got our first dog at aged 10, and our second when I was 17. I have cared for them both since they were puppies- teaching them to wait for food, fetch, lie down and even high five! As my first dog got older, I learnt how to be respectful of him as he didn't want to be played with all the time and was slightly more temperamental. About: I have had dogs all my life from small dogs to medium sized dogs I have fed them given them water bathed them and walked them and if your fur baby gets all dirty I would take them to the bathroom and give them a bath and give them a nice warm bath they would be really nice and clean and I have got a dog and had dogs all my life time when I was growing up so I love dogs I’m also a very happy person and I’m also a kind caring person that would be very happy to look after your fur baby’s I don’t work so I’m always around and available for your fur baby and I will always take good care of them like you do plus I will always be there for them and take good care of them I have had dog’s all my life We have a closed in garden so will keep your fur baby safe and sound when in the back garden and if needed have a crate for your fur baby to keep safe or needs a sleep we will all so give your fur baby a nice cuddle and plenty of walks.next to me or my wife on the sofa and they will get a lot of attention from me
About: I have lived with dogs all my life and I enjoy going on long walks with them. I have dog sat and cat sat before. I have even been to a voluntary week long naughty but nice dog training camp. I love spending time with all animals. During my time at university in Plymouth I dog and cat sat and absolutely loved it. I had many different types of bookings over the years. I have looked after cats and dogs from a young age to an adult age. I love walking it makes me happy, I love to be around the countryside and to go out for long walks. I love to sit and watch the water at the hoe or sit in the woods and listen to the trees. I now live in Crediton and have a job as a support worker in a care home but I love dog walking and I miss it. So I'm here to help you when you need it. To walk your dogs and go the occasional drop in on the side of my job caring for people. I have a full time job as a support worker however my I have a lot of spare time between working. I have a car and can drive to give your dog the best walk possible. I offer some drop in services on animals while your at work. If they need a toilet break, feeding, a walk or even just some company while your at work I can make your loved ones time alone feel less long.

“My dog Douglas had the best time staying with Talita, we got regular updates with videos and pictures of Douglas's walks and when he was in the home. He always looked like he was having the best time. He got to play with their dog Mala who is super friendly. I would 100% recommend Talita to anyone who is nervous about leaving their dog, we met up a couple times before I left him so we could get to know each other and for Douglas to become familiar with them and their home. He was happy to see me when I collected but quickly picked up toys and went back to playing with them whilst we spoke about his week. Generally the only people he likes playing with our us so it was really lovely to see how much more social this has made him. Thankyou for looking after him so well. Xxxx”

About: I've had pets all my life from. From the time I could walk, I've taken care of our family Golden retriever, later on my adorable Patterjack terrier, and now Lurcher and Belgian shepherd. That's been alongside 3 ponies / horses, rabbits, guinea pigs, 5 cats and a bird. My two dogs (Lurcher and shepherd) are incredibly friendly and playful and we have regular doggie visitors including my sister's Segugio 'Bobby' and family friend Cocker Spaniel 'Lottie'. So my offer to you is that if you have a dog who is friendly, playful, and likes the company of other dogs, they will be very welcome here! I'm recently retired so have very few commitments and am available to look after dogs most of the time. I take my two dogs out for country walks daily and could take yours too. I have a fenced garden and two friendly dogs to keep your dog company. They can all play together if you wish, but if not, I can separate them, putting your dog in the living room - I'd rather they played together if possible though.

I’ve looked after many friends’ dogs over the years, from regular walks to overnight stays, and I always treat them as if they were my own. I work full-time over three condensed days, which means I have several days each week fully available for dog walking and sitting. My schedule is known up to 8 weeks in advance, so I can plan ahead and accommodate bookings where possible. On my days off, I usually start the day with a morning walk between 9–10am, lasting at least an hour. In good weather, this can turn into longer outings of several hours, with breaks for rest, water, and lunch. I also provide a shorter, calmer evening walk around 6pm for 20–30 minutes. Dogs in my care have regular access to the garden for toilet breaks throughout the day, and I always ensure a final toilet break around 9pm before settling in for the night. I’m happy to adapt my routine depending on each dog’s needs, whether they prefer longer adventures or a more relaxed pace. I provide a safe, relaxed, and home-from-home environment where dogs are treated like part of the family. In my home, dogs are welcome in all areas and can choose where they feel most comfortable—whether that’s on the sofa or in their own bed in the lounge. I have a fully secure, fenced garden with no external access, so they can safely enjoy time outside whenever needed. I don’t use crates, but I may be able to accommodate one for smaller dogs if that’s part of their usual routine. For overnight stays, dogs are welcome upstairs and can sleep on my bed or in the spare room—whatever helps them feel most settled and secure. Although my own dog is not food reactive, I always feed dogs separately to ensure they each eat their own meals safely and at their own pace. When caring for pets in an owner’s home, I am very respectful of routines and house rules. “Greg and Jill helped us out loads by taking our lovely boy Hendrix whilst we went away. We used the Rover app after searching for dog kennels. The app showed Greg and Jill and they were in the same town as us. We made contact and were accepted straight away. After the first contact we arranged to meet and Hendrix took to them immediately. “Nick was absolutely brilliant with Heidi, our German Shepherd, during her week-long stay. He clearly understood the breed and was patient, calm and really friendly with her. Heidi had only recently been spayed, so we needed someone who would be mindful and gentle with her, and Nick — along with his two lovely dogs — was exactly that. It did Heidi so much good to spend time around dogs who don’t share her anxiety, and she settled really well. Nick was a great communicator throughout, positive, reassuring, friendly and just a genuinely lovely person. Heidi thought he was brilliant, and it was fantastic for me knowing she was so well cared for. I would happily send her back tomorrow and will definitely use Nick for any future stays.”
About: I have grown up around dogs my entire life, with a strong background in professional dog care and behaviour. My parents have worked with both Guide Dogs and Hearing Dogs, giving me valuable insight into the care, training and individual needs of dogs from an early age. My mum is also a qualified behaviourist, so I have developed a good understanding of canine behaviour and how important patience, consistency and positive care are. I genuinely love being around dogs and take great pride in making sure they feel safe, happy comfortable and well cared for. I offer a caring, reliable and flexible pet boarding service, with availability to suit a variety of routines. I work Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, but I’m off on Mondays and Wednesdays, making these ideal days for boarding and pet care. I’m also available for dog walks and boarding every weekend, as well as evenings when required. I’m committed to providing pets with plenty of attention, exercise, companionship and a safe, loving home-from-home environment while their owners are away. I live in a first-floor flat with access to outdoor garden space, and I can provide a safe and secure routine for pets needing outdoor toilet breaks and exercise. Dogs would always be taken outside under my supervision and kept securely on a lead when using the garden or going for walks, ensuring they remain safe and cannot wander off. I would never leave a boarded pet unattended outdoors and would make sure they are comfortable, secure and supervised at all times.
