This was our first time leaving our dog and we were so nervous, however Paula talked us through it and gave us confidence. While we were away she sent photos and updates, Violet was clearly comfortable with her. Paula made the whole experience a lot easier and so we were able to enjoy our time away so much more!

Maya is lovely and our dogs loved her. She came to meet them before the stay which put my mind at rest as we’ve never had a sitter before. She updated me on how they were doing. Thanks Maya!

Freya was fantastic with our dog! She did a meet and greet before the sit, which was lovely. He was very excited to see her and she looked after him so well! We got photo updates showing him so happy and relaxed, which was great peace of mind. Highly recommended and will definitely be booking again!

Lauren looked after our dog Teddy for a morning as he struggles with separation anxiety. We contacted Lauren and arranged a meet and greet and booked her in straight away! We knew from the meet and greet that she would be a perfect fit to look after Teddy, she is so lovely and made us feel completely at ease from the get go! We felt comfortable in her staying at our house and knew Teddy would be looked after☺️ we came home to a very happy boy and won’t hesitate in booking Lauren again!!

Excellent caring service. Grace and Rhodri provided love and attention to all 3 dogs. All 3 took to them straight away. Updates with photos and messages. They all looked like they had a whale of a time. Checked the dogs and took care of a few ticks after their walk on the fields!! House was left clean and tidy and even loaded the washing machine with the used bedsheets and towels. Hope you guys enjoyed your stay in our little slice of heaven!!

About: Hi, I’m Deima! I’m 24 years old and currently working as a teacher at a local college here in Somerset. I’ve been a cat lover my whole life and grew up in a home filled with furry companions, so looking after cats feels second nature to me. I live with my two lovely boys: - Max, a cheeky and energetic 4 year old Bengal, who loves garden adventures and occasional belly rubs (on his own terms). - Alex, a cuddly ginger 2 year old Maine Coon, who’s affectionate, gentle, and always looking for a lap to nap on. Alongside caring for my own cats, I have experience cat sitting for neighbours and friends over the years, so I’m confident with all sorts of feline personalities, shy, bold, playful, or independent. References are available if needed! I’m available most weekdays between 12–2pm, after 5pm, and on weekends, and I’d be happy to pop in to care for your cat(s) while you're away or at work. I currently work full-time as a teacher, but I am free during every half-term and holiday. Throughout the week, I am available for dog walking, drop-ins and care, either from 6-8am, a quick lunchtime visit or after 5pm. I'm available most weekends. I always try to fit pet care around each dog’s usual routine to help them feel comfortable and settled. I always prioritise making pets feel safe, calm and comfortable in both my home and their owner’s home. I understand that every dog has different routines, personalities and needs, so I take the time to get to know them and follow instructions carefully. I’m reliable, patient and attentive, and I’m happy to provide regular updates and photos for reassurance while you’re away.

About: I own a gorgeous mixed dog breed so have direct experience as well as my childhood home hosting various cats and dogs. I have dealt with heartbreak and pure pleasure. Currently in between jobs so could do with some extra money. Each week I can be flexible. Evenings are also a possibility as well as weekends. I have a modest sized house with sufficient fencing. I live alone. No children. I own a dog myself so I am very aware of what is too much .

About: Hi there! My name is Rachel, I’m a 29 year old working professional based in Taunton and I live with my partner in a fully detached house with a large secure enclosed garden, giving dogs plenty of safe space to play and explore. I’ve grown up around both cats and dogs all my life, and featured in my photo is our family dog Coco, a mini Pomeranian who I absolutely adore. I regularly dog sit for friends over weekends and love taking their dogs out for walks and adventures in the countryside. I enjoy being outdoors and discovering new walking spots, so your dog will get lots of exercise, attention and companionship. I work from home on Mondays, meaning I’m around throughout the day for walks, toilet breaks, feeding and company. Although we don’t currently have pets living with us, our home is very pet friendly and calm, making it a great environment for dogs to feel comfortable and relaxed. I’m available on weekends and love spending time outdoors on long walks and adventures with dogs. Most of my friends have dogs and I love going for Saturday morning coffee and dog walks with them. I also work from home on Mondays, so I’m around all day for walks, feeding, toilet breaks and plenty of company. Your dog will get lots of attention, playtime and care throughout their stay! Your dog will be cared for in a calm, loving home with a large secure enclosed garden where they can safely play and explore. I currently don’t have pets, so your dog will have plenty of space and attention. I always make sure dogs are well looked after, exercised, comfortable and treated like part of the family!

Christopher was an excellent house and dog sitter. He was very professional, proactive on letting us know how our dog Maia was doing. He took her out for many walks and gave us updates on each one. When we got back Maia was extremely happy and comfortable. He was respectful with our rules with her and could tell she was very well taken care of. Christopher also left our place immaculate condition. Would recommend him anytime and will be our go to guy. It’s always hard leaving your dog with someone but Im happy we left her Christopher.

About: Fully licensed and insured for pet boarding, sitting and walking. I live in Uphill, WsM with my wife and son. In the past I have owned dogs, cats and other pets. When we lost my lovely 13 year old Border terrier, it seemed like a good idea to take up pet boarding, sitting and walking. I usually board one, occasionally two dogs, at a time from different households, but happy to board two dogs from the same household. We usually host small to medium sized dogs, and up to a maximum of three dogs. I can no longer take very large or strong dogs that pull on the lead. Our garden is a good size and secure, so your dog will always have access to the garden. I live near to Uphill’s sandy beach and wonderful countryside walks. Your dog will be very comfortable and well looked after. I work from home so your dog will never be left alone for longer than a few hours in the daytime and never alone at night. I can also do dog sitting, dog walking and possible drop in visits locally, contact me for details if you require these. North Somerset Boarding Licence Number: 042795 Pet business insurance & public liability. I work from home so your dog or cat will never be left alone for longer than a couple of hours in the daytime and never alone at night. I have a secure and safe garden so your dog will always have access to the garden as well as local beach, park and countryside walks.

We were a little worried about having a house sitter for our two pugs. We found Karen on Rover.com and she was trustworthy, bonded with our dogs very quickly and really looked after them very well. We received photos every day whilst away and Karen was the perfect house sitter. We could see that our dogs were very happy on our return. Thank you Karen

About: I've taken care of all types of dogs from the age of 18, looking after my parents small dogs (Cavaliers) and large dogs (standard poodles) for months at a time when they would go on holiday. I have carried numerous dog / house sits for friends and family, ranging from small to big dogs, puppies and cats. In 2025 and early 2026, I travelled for 10 months around Europe, New Zealand and Australia and was hired for 5 x dog sits in Australia over the last 2 months of my stay. Two 10 day sits, and three 3-6 day sits. I have experience with handling and administering medication, with a recent sit, all three pets requiring AM and PM medication. I work remotely from my laptop full time, so can give around the clock attention to your beloved pets & take great care of your house. I am incredibly organized, neat and tidy. Early morning person who can adapt to any pet's routine. I am great at sending updates during a sit, so if you wish to only receive one update and one photo please let me know and I'll make sure not to send any more than this! If you have a particularly shy or harder dog to deal with then please do not hesitate to contact me as I am confident and love a challenge. Barking does not bother me as it is just them expressing how they are feeling.
