“If there was a higher rating then Macy would definitely deserve it. Her and her whole family welcomed Jax into their home and were totally amazing. Macy kept us updated regularly with messages and videos. Jax is a young large Doberman with ongoing training for recall and reactivity to other dogs, ao not an easy boy to look after, but Macy went above and beyond expectations Thanks”

“Charlie was very well looked after by Fraser and his wife. She was settled and happy and she appeared to have made herself very much at home and from the photos, enjoyed herself thoroughly. I would definitely recommend using Fraser and we will be booking again in the future. Thank you so much for taking such good care of our little girl.”

“We all took to Freya straightaway. She’s just lovely with both humans and dogs. Sid was very comfortable with her and Lottie her cute Pomeranian. He came back a very happy but tired dog. Sid can pull at the start of a walk when he's very excited but Freya took this in her stride and she spoiled him rotten. We will definitely be asking Freya again.”

“Victoria keep us well informed and sent lots of pictures. Bella had stayed for a day before this was the first time away for the night, and Victoria made sure Bella felt happy. Victoria is amazing and I would really recommend her.”

“Josh and Julie were amazing with my 2 crazy over-excitable pugs. They have never stayed with them before and I was slightly concerned how things would go but it couldn't have gone any better. Will definitely use again. Thank you both so much x”

“We left Duque, our old dog, with her for 3 days and we are very happy! Good communication, good care, good people! We thank them from the bottom of our hearts for their patience and understanding especially because Duque also had health problems! We recommend her!!!❤️ Irina , George and Duque !”

“Robert has just had by beagle Bart for a long weekend. Not sure he really wanted to come home when I got there. Great service and a lovely family atmosphere. I’ve already booked again for August. Thank you for taking good care of me boy 🐶”

“Helen was fab with my dog Dora and I didn’t have to worry about her at all while we were away. We got regular updates with photos and Dora was kept busy and happy. Dora is on a couple of medications and these were all administered with no problem. Would definitely book again and highly recommend.”

“Jo and buddy were amazing from the first meeting I knew that my dog louie would be more than fine as they were so kind and welcoming. I did not have one worry leaving him with Jo, my only thought was that he would not want to come home after! Louie had the best holiday with Jo and buddy and I can't thank them enough. Would 100% recommend Jo to anyone as it was home from home for my dog Louie ( actually better than being at home I think!) Thanks again you really did put our minds at rest from the first meeting and kept us updated throughout his stay. Louie misses you both already:)”

“Trevor has been looked after extremely well and Edita spent a lot of time with him. She regularly sent me photos and videos of him to let us know how he was getting on. Been on 3 walks today. He has come home a very happy boy. Thank you Edita.”

Communication was regular and informative and gave us great peace of mind during his stay. Have already booked his next 'holiday'! Highly recommended.”

“We were so pleased to find Zak, and him and Theo really seemed to get on right from the initial meeting. The consistent photos and messages we received from Zak while we were away really put us at ease, knowing that Theo was enjoying himself - spending most of his time snoozing from the sounds of it! We'll definitely be booking Theo in to stay with Zak again soon :)”

“Absolutely lovely couple who took amazing care of Max. The weather was really hot when Max was with them and they found really novel ways and games to keep him mentally stimulated when it was too hot to walk. Max lived his time with them and will be using again in the future”

About: Hi there! My name is Rachel, I’m a 29 year old working professional based in Taunton and I live with my partner in a fully detached house with a large secure enclosed garden, giving dogs plenty of safe space to play and explore. I’ve grown up around both cats and dogs all my life, and featured in my photo is our family dog Coco, a mini Pomeranian who I absolutely adore. I regularly dog sit for friends over weekends and love taking their dogs out for walks and adventures in the countryside. I enjoy being outdoors and discovering new walking spots, so your dog will get lots of exercise, attention and companionship. I work from home on Mondays, meaning I’m around throughout the day for walks, toilet breaks, feeding and company. Although we don’t currently have pets living with us, our home is very pet friendly and calm, making it a great environment for dogs to feel comfortable and relaxed. I’m available on weekends and love spending time outdoors on long walks and adventures with dogs. Most of my friends have dogs and I love going for Saturday morning coffee and dog walks with them. I also work from home on Mondays, so I’m around all day for walks, feeding, toilet breaks and plenty of company. Your dog will get lots of attention, playtime and care throughout their stay! Your dog will be cared for in a calm, loving home with a large secure enclosed garden where they can safely play and explore. I currently don’t have pets, so your dog will have plenty of space and attention. I always make sure dogs are well looked after, exercised, comfortable and treated like part of the family!

“Emily took very good care of our boy Merlin and she was flexible and communicative :) She was also happy to take him out in the garden in his harness, which I'm sure made his time while we were away better”

“Kaitlin has been great, we received regular updates about how the cats were getting on during her daily visits. She kindly disposed of some unwanted gifts/offerings they left, and neither seem too annoyed with us that we went away!”

“So pleased with the service provided from Cherie today! The app is brilliant, I would say that after doing a long shift at work and leaving my house cat alone for that long always leaves me feeling uneasy but being new to the area, I couldn't ask anyone to just drop in. Trilby has been introduced to a new friend whilst I'm at work and its gone amazingly. The photo updates were very lovely and gave me piece of mind at work! Definitely worth doing again and has given me confidence to think re. Future plans about possibly having a house sitting booking 😊 thank you. She definitely got the attention that I would have expected. I have heard of some reviews where poeple go in and read a book whilst being paid....I was looking for more interaction with my house cat so I come home on a Monday evening with a less energetic kitty and that's what I had. 💕🤗 x”

“Amazing when looking after my cat Luna. She sent me daily updates along with photos and videos. Luna was a very happy cat when we picked her up and didn’t wanna leave. Would definitely use again!”

“I was very happy with the care our extremely shy cat received. Aneta was patient and respectful of her space. It was reassuring to know she eventually felt comfortable enough to be seen, which speaks to the calm and consistent approach from Aneta. I appreciated the updates and would happily book again.”

About: I’ve always had cats in my life, from playful kittens to senior cats, so I understand their different personalities and needs. I genuinely love being around cats and making sure they feel safe, relaxed, and well cared for while you’re away. I’m happy to provide feeding, playtime, cuddles, litter tray cleaning, and regular updates for your peace of mind. Feel free to message me if you’re looking for a reliable and loving cat sitter!
About: About Me Hi! I’m Sophie – a lifelong animal lover with over 8 years of experience caring for dogs and cats of all shapes, sizes, and personalities. I live in a peaceful rural area surrounded by fields, with a secure open garden and a small enclosed one right next to my house. I work from home, so your pets will never be left alone – they’ll be part of the family while they’re here. I share my home with my own friendly crew: 🐾 Kisa, my gentle elderly dog who’s the queen of calm cuddles 🐾 Harley, an older collie mix who still plays like a pup 🐾 Mimi, a sweet 9-month-old kitten (friendly to all – except the local voles 😅) I have experience with everything from energetic puppies to senior dogs and indoor-only cats. I’ve also cared for dogs with complex needs, including those with seizures, deafness, and medication routines (oral meds, injections, eye drops – you name it). I’m happy to accommodate special care and will always work with you to ensure your pets feel safe and loved. I prioritise keeping owners informed and at ease – I know how hard it is to leave your furry family behind, and I treat every animal in my care like one of my own. ❤️ Pet care is part of my everyday routine! I live and work from home, so I’m always around to give the animals in my care plenty of attention, love, and supervision throughout the day. (I work in cimla voluntarily on weekends - can sit in that area) Whether it’s cuddles on the sofa, supervised play in the garden, or peaceful strolls through the nearby fields, your pet’s needs easily fit into my schedule. I’m used to working around feeding times, medication schedules, and different energy levels — from playful pups to snoozy seniors. I structure my day around the pets in my care, not the other way around. I sometimes volunteer on the weekends but that's as and when! Pets in my care are treated like extended pack members from the moment they arrive. I make sure every animal feels safe, respected, and comfortable — whether that means quiet time, playtime, or sticking closely to their usual routine. At my home, I have an open garden surrounded by peaceful countryside, perfect for sniffy walks and fresh air. I also have a smaller enclosed garden right next to the house for potty breaks and supervised outside time. I never leave pets unsupervised outside. Inside, pets have full access to safe, cozy spaces, with comfy spots to relax and regular opportunities for cuddles, enrichment, and play. I supervise all interactions between pets and always follow your preferences regarding routines, feeding, sleeping, and exercise. I have experience with: Administering medication (oral, eye drops, injections) Caring for elderly, deaf, or anxious animals Managing multi-pet households calmly and safely Whether your pet stays with me or I care for them in your home, I aim to create a calm, stress-free experience where they feel loved and you feel reassured 🐾
“So happy to have found Alannya at short notice to look after our GSDx Bear. We got loads of photo updates, communication was spot on and I left the house feeling super comfortable and happy knowing Bear was in safe hands. Highly recommend x”

“Mattie did a lovely job caring for our darling girl. We came home to a very happy cat and a tidy home. I appreciated our photo updates and that Mattie was on-time to the reservation. 10/10! ”

We want your pet to be as happy and comfortable as possible during their stay with us, so please let us know if they have any particular requirements.

Throughly recommend and would absolutely use again.”

About: Growing up as a kid we always had a dog in the family, it's not just an animal, it's a loved one and a family member. Tillie, our last family dog passed away a few years back, and my husband isn't keen on dogs, so I have decided to get my dog fix by offering services on here. I'm friendly, kind and slightly quiet, but give me a dog and the energy comes out of me. I currently work 30hrs a week, and usually finish at 12 midday or before, leaving my afternoon free for walkies and pop-ins. I usually get one weekend day off, alongside one midweek day. Regarding here. We have a fenced garden, with grass and patio. We have a private Alley to the garden and the gate to the garden is locked with two bolts at the top and bottom of the gate. Personally, I may not do a lot of boarding as my husband has his vinyl collection downstairs, but if I were to, they would have access to the kitchen/diner as well as the garden.
About: I own a gorgeous mixed dog breed so have direct experience as well as my childhood home hosting various cats and dogs. I have dealt with heartbreak and pure pleasure. Currently in between jobs so could do with some extra money. Each week I can be flexible. Evenings are also a possibility as well as weekends. I have a modest sized house with sufficient fencing. I live alone. No children. I own a dog myself so I am very aware of what is too much .

About: I’ve always taken care of the pets of my friends, family and neighbours and have recently been using the borrow-my-doggy app to help look after the dogs of locals on a volunteering basis. This has included walking the dogs and having them overnight, with one client saying she teared up because of how helpful I was! I currently have no fixed working hours, so I am completely flexible! I can be a morning person or night owl depending on your pet, in order to adapt to their schedule in the most convenient way possible for you and them. I have a spacious area with 3 rooms and an open plan layout as well as stairs to allow your pet space to roam and run free, before heading out to the many amazing walking areas right in front of the gated property I live in. I have dog toys from when I looked after previous dogs and food/water bowls suitable for both dogs and cats. There’s never anything sharp or dangerous or in the way on the tidy floor of my house, making it the perfect place for your pet to roll around or play-fight, or just to rest after we’ve walked, played, cuddled, trained.. whatever your pet wants:)

(Shoes are my puppy’s favourite!) I am very aware of my surroundings with my dog and what is safe for him to eat/not eat! I work full time for myself from home so this allows me a large amount of flexibility regarding my routine. This is a huge benefit to pet owners I help as I can work around your schedule/your pets schedule at ease! If I have any work calls whilst at your home I will let you know timings in advance, but this will not impact your pet sitting/daycare experience in any way! If your pet is coming to my home. He/she will be safe at all times. I won’t leave your pet if that’s what you require and make sure they are safe and well looked after at all times!

She was flexible with times to suit us, followed our requests on our pup to a T, and when we picked him up he almost didn't want to leave! We'll definitely be booking again in future, 10/10 thank you Chloe!”

“Kevin was really accommodating despite our disastrous trip. We travelled from Newcastle for a wedding. The dog was booked to stay with Kevin overnight. Unfortunately the dog was poorly so all our plans had to change. Kevin was very patient with us, gave us advice about finding vets and offered to have Hugo at any other point if it would have helped. I would have no hesitation in using Kevin’s service again.”

“Lee looked after our 3 year old cavapoo for two weeks in his home whilst we were away. Lee provides a really professional service. With his calm, gentle manner and experience around dogs he took great care of our sensitive pup who can be anxious at times around some people and dogs. Our cavapoo absolutely loved Lee’s garden which provides a perfect secure environment for dogs to explore and play, and he really enjoyed the company of Lee’s gorgeous dog George, whose chilled disposition was perfect company for Luigi. Luigi certainly grew in confidence during his holiday at Lee’s and was spoilt with lovely long daily walks. We had regular updates and photos which were hugely appreciated. We couldn’t have wished for a more perfect home from home for our dog. We highly recommend Lee’s services. Thank you so much Lee for taking such great care of our dog.”
