About: I have a 7 year old brown Labrador/ Hungarian Viszla I have looked after since he was 8 weeks that I have helped train and take on walks. I have experience with nervous dogs, walking dogs on and off lead and dog training. I have experience walking different breeds and dog sizes. I am studying for a PhD and therefore have flexible hours of when I can walk and look after dogs. I love animals and pets and understand the individual needs of different dogs. I am quite an energetic person meaning i can engage in games with the dogs and make sure they get enough exercise during their walks. About: I’ve grown up with both dogs and cats all my life. My 13 year old cat Izzie passed away last year and I haven’t been in a position to get another pet just yet. Please let me spend quality time with your babies as I am missing having a furry friend around. I live with my partner and together we would care for your pet, as we have for many friend’s pets over the years. I work for the NHS Monday - Friday but work from home every Friday, with flexibility to do so some other days too. I finish work at 4.30pm so am home all evening. My partner often comes home for lunch throughout the day, so there is unlikely to be long periods where your pet will be left alone. Our weekends are fully flexible. I live with my partner on a third floor flat. Although we have no garden, we are both very active and enjoy spending time outdoors. We live a 2 minute walk from Roath Park! Our flat is calm, clean and a safe space for pets to feel comfortable. We would welcome pets on the furniture and the bed.
About: I was lucky enough to have my gorgeous beagle, Alfie, by my side for nearly 15 years, and he really was my best friend. Having him gave me such a love for dogs and I genuinely miss having that four legged companion! She came and dog sat/walked my two greyhounds and from the moment they met her they absolutely adored her! Charlie did a great job of looking after my house and my Great Dane. For the meet'n'greet and the sit, he was punctual, friendly, well-informed about dogs and - although he hadn't looked after a Great Dane before, he was clearly really capable. I returned to a happy dog and a tidy house. He sent photos and messages each day - really, Charlie is all that you could hope for in a reliable dogsitter. I have no trouble in recommending him to others and would definitely use him again!
Siân was fantastic! She took our late booking on the day we needed it, was super friendly, communicative and accommodating for anything we needed/preferred. She settled in with our pup straight away and gave her all of the time and attention she needed (which was quite the bit given she is a young pup still learning and exploring). We would definitely recommend Siân to others.

Abigail was amazing! We had to leave for our trip early, unfortunately so didn’t get to meet but received regular updates and pics of her many walks with our two big dogs (one is 5, one is 15 which is never easy!). Our retriever had obviously been pampered into a proper fluffy monster and both dogs seemed very happy on our return. House was left immaculate. Thanks Abigail! Will most certainly be rebooking again soon.
We’ve used Poppy many times before & deff would look to book her again, anytime I need care at home. Poppy is a lovely person to deal with, we’re very comfortable with how our dog is taken care of, very respectful in our home that we share when Poppy is here.
We had a fantastic first meet-and-greet with Elinor, she was so patient with Loki, who can be nervous, and clearly knows how to build trust at a dog’s own pace. Update: Elinor has now looked after Loki on several evenings and stayed over while we were away on our honeymoon. She is always friendly, professional, and takes amazing care of both Loki and our house. We couldn't recommend her more!!
5 stars - Excellent house sitter. We went on holiday for a week and our Ellie couldn't come this time. Kennels are never an option - we have used friends and Rover before to house sit and look after Ellie so she is in familiar surroundings during which must be a very stressful time for her when we go away. Ellie loved Francesca and was looked after very well with walks, cuddles and belly rubs. Lots of photos too which was very re-assuring. Returned to house and honestly you wouldn't believe how clean and tidy it was. She even put the bins out on the Friday! Before the house sit we met up twice - the first to book and meet Ellie to check each other over and then a week before to familiarise with the house and meet Ellie again. Overall - EXCELLENT!!!! Will definitely use again and highly recommend to others.
