I have a rescue cat which has been with me for 6 years. The mother of the cat abandoned her when she was only 2 weeks old so I had to feed her milk from the bottle, make sure she can do her toilet properly and keep her warm while she was going to sleep. Alongside that I have looked after several other animals such as tortoises, birds and dogs. I’m the happiest when I’m around animals.

Regardless of whether your pet is well trained or not I would like you to know that I won’t be letting them off the lead throughout their time with me. I will make sure to keep you updated during the time they’re with me through photos and videos. I will make sure they get good exercise and their safety/happiness would be at the forefront of my mind at all times.

Melissa was fantastic! The cats absolutely lived her and the regular updates gave us added reassurance everyone was enjoying their time together. Melissa is very reliable, was quick to spot an unexpected and unrelated domestic issue which she did her best to resolve for us - we are very grateful for her care and attention, will definitely be booking her again.

Melissa was a brilliant sitter for little Frank (a feisty and occasionally anxious small standard daschund). At the meet and greet prior to confirmation she walked Frank with me to see him in his own area and gather any safety hints for her future walks with him. She had good communication before the sit, and came along for a few hours before I left late that evening for my week long holiday to get to know how things work in my home and read the notes I had prepared about his routine and care; but, most importantly to get together with Frank while I was still here. She immediately developed a good rapport with Frank who was fascinated by this new lady! While away she sent regular reassuring messages and pictures of Frank enjoying his days in her care. Melissa showed a quiet and caring attitude while getting to know Frank and he was hooked! She was also very respectful of my home and left all in good order. I would have no qualms in recommending Melissa to pet sit your dog in your own home.
We were really pleased with Melissa - she walked our dogs whilst we were on holiday and loved that she kept us updated with pictures and videos. She’s very kind and friendly and can adapt to your dog’s needs. We would definitely book her again! Thank you :)
