About: I have a rescue cat which has been with me for 6 years. The mother of the cat abandoned her when she was only 2 weeks old so I had to feed her milk from the bottle, make sure she can do her toilet properly and keep her warm while she was going to sleep. Alongside that I have looked after several other animals such as tortoises, birds and dogs. I’m the happiest when I’m around animals. I just finished my 1st year in Cardiff uni so I’m mainly free to take care of your little ones as home sits or in the afternoons. Regardless of whether your pet is well trained or not I would like you to know that I won’t be letting them off the lead throughout their time with me. I will make sure to keep you updated during the time they’re with me through photos and videos. I will make sure they get good exercise and their safety/happiness would be at the forefront of my mind at all times.

About: Although never professionally involved in the pet care industry, I’ve grown up with dogs and cats, all with different personalities! Within my village, I walked dogs for many families, including a few home stays when needed. Being a pet lover, I know the joy a single walk brings to our pets. I will help you love your furry friends when your schedule does not allow you! I am currently an international student, only in two days a week. I am fairly flexible in my routine after Monday and Tuesday. I have developed a routine to complete my school/daily tasks, allowing me to now incorporate other priorities. In a pet owner’s home, I stick closely to their routine so pets feel safe and comfortable. I follow feeding, walking, and medication instructions carefully, provide plenty of attention and exercise, keep the space clean, and send updates if wanted!

About: I’ve grown up around dogs and have two of my own back home: a Samoyed and a Poodle, which I miss very much🥺, And I’m used to different personalities, ages, and needs. They’re completely different, which has taught me how to understand each dog individually. I’ve trained my own dogs, including crate training, potty training, and basic commands like sit, stay, spin, paw and recall, so I’m confident handling behaviour in a calm and consistent way. I also enjoy making dog friendly treats and I’m very aware of what’s safe and unsafe for dogs. I’m a graduating student staying in Cardiff over the summer, so I have a very flexible schedule and can give dogs plenty of time, attention, and love. I have an easy access to a park and a garden, which is ideal for walks and outdoor time. I acquire an enhanced DBS check for added reassurance. I’m happy to help with anything from walks and day care to longer stays, and can also support with basic training if necessary :) I’m available throughout the week for walks, day care, and overnight stays, so I can be really flexible depending on what you need. I’m also quite an active person and love my morning walks, so having a little companion with me would make it even better My home is set up to be dog friendly and clean, so it’s a comfortable environment where dogs can settle in easily. I have access to a garden for quick toilet breaks. And I don’t have any other pets at home

About: I’ve grown up around dogs and animals since I was 9 years old, and caring for them has always been a big part of my life. After recently losing our family dog, a Large Munsterlander in 2025, and moving to a new city, I really miss having that companionship. That’s what’s inspired me to join Rover and support other dog owners with their pets. I’m an active person who loves running and being outdoors, so I’m always happy to take dogs on walks, explore new places, and make sure they get plenty of exercise and attention. I have experience living with dogs of all sizes, ages, and temperaments—from young and energetic puppies to older dogs who need a slower pace. I also have hands-on experience supporting anxious and reactive dogs, which has helped me become very attentive to body language and behaviour. I’m confident in reading signals, respecting boundaries, and creating a calm, safe environment for every dog. I understand that every dog is different, and I always adapt my approach to suit their individual needs. Whether your dog is playful, shy, energetic, or prefers a quieter routine, I aim to make them feel comfortable, secure, and well cared for. I work full time so I can either take time off work if needed or I tend to work remotely from home. I would be happy if dog sitting to work from someone's home. My first priority in looking after your dog is the dog itself so I love to wake up, take a coffee with me out on a dog walk and make sure they are happy for the rest of the day! I can do a lunchtime walk as well also if your dog needs this. Alternatively, I am a keen daily runner and love to do this outside so if your dog likes running/is trained to do so, I would be happy to take them out on a run! If I was looking after your dog on the weekend, I like to explore new places and would love to take your dog to the beach, to the mountains, out exploring new areas to really fulfil their day! I have previously had dogs with our family and have been trusted to look after them on my own most of my life. I am attentive to understanding the dog and the rules of the house and making sure they are comfortable with me. I have been trusted to look after not only our own family dogs but friends dogs as well as house sitting for my colleagues 4 dogs as well. I work remotely so this tends to be a relaxing environment for a dog to sit with me for the day. But with being active and wanting to spend time with the dog also, I love to walk and take the time to be with them and give them the love and attention they deserve!

About: I have previously worked with pet training specialists and can provide my own knowledge of how to care for your pets behaviours. I also have experience in dog resuscitation, for emergencies and can look after dogs with special needs/medical illnesses/requirements. I am currently using rover and other pet care websites as my full time job. This means I am available all day every day, at any time to take care of your pets! I will look after the pets as if they were my own. I understand boundaries and respect within someone’s home. I’m here to give you a trustworthy place to leave your animals. Any requirements you have for your home or loved pets, can be done. Usually when doing these jobs I bring my husband along, just for safety reasons and to also help out on demanding jobs. If you’re not okay with that, let me know and we can work around it!

About: Throughout my time sitting on Rover, I have gained experiences with dogs aged between a few months old to senior dogs, as well as experience with high-energy and rescue dogs. These experiences have allowed me to really get to know and understand the needs of each dog and how to truly fulfil what they enjoy doing the most! I can care for your pet on short notice and would love to give them the extra love and company that they most definitely deserve. I pride myself on providing regular updates and pictures for each walk, drop-in and house sitting, as I know how important it is for many owners to know that their pet is happy and well-looked after! I also have access to my car so can either travel out further to care for your pets, or if comfortable, can take your dog on a beach walk! I absolutely love taking care of both dogs and cats and would love to lend a helping hand to anyone that needs care for their pets while they're away. I am currently living in Cardiff, with availability across the summer. In September, I will be starting my Masters in Cardiff so will have availability over weekends and holidays. I am able to provide care on short notice too! Before caring for your pet either within your own home or out on a walk, I always make sure to ask of the specific needs, likes and dislikes of your dog. I have found through my previous dog walking and sitting experience that this is so crucial for ensuring that each pet is kept safe and happy while in my care. If your dog is happy to be off-lead, on-lead, likes treats to be brought on walks or likes to stick to the routine trails that they usually go on, I think its really important that the needs of your dog are catered for. I have experience with nervous and reactive dogs, and take extra care with those that may need a little extra space on walks. My goal is to make sure that your pet is safe, comfortable, and most of all, happy when going on walks or within my company within your home. I am always more than happy and encourage meet and greets before each sitting to ensure that your pet is comfortable with me!
