Cat enthusiast with love to give
Hello, I'm a 30yr old nurse who is a self-proclaimed crazy cat lady. I first fell in love with cats when I rescued an abandoned kitten in Australia several years ago. Since then my love for cats has only grown. Unfortunately, it's not the right time in my life to commit to owning a fur baby of my own, so cat sitting is the purrr-fect arrangement to help me fill the cat-shaped hole in my life while earning some extra £££ for a house deposit. I have been cat sitting professionally for two years now, with over 60% of my current bookings being repeat clients! Aswell as having owned a cat I have also previously lived with two cats who belonged to an old flatmate - Simba and Loki, so I am used to caring for cats and all the duties that come with them from cuddles, flea and worm treatments, to cleaning out the litter. With all my sits I provide daily updates and photos so you can rest assured your pets are safe and happy. I also drive and own my own car, so should your cat require medical attention while you’re away I am able to drive them to your local vets. As well as spending time with your cats my sits include feeding, and litter box cleaning as standard. I am also happy to complete flea and worming treatment (provided you provide clear instructions on how you would like me to do this and supply the products needed) and brushing should you want this / your cat require this. I have experience with giving cats medications (oral and injections) and have also brushed teeth as part of my service as requested. I am also open to discussing other reasonable requests to be included within a sit that I haven't previously listed eg: taking out bins and watering plants.
Qualifications
Safety, trust & environment
I like to tailor my sits to each individual cat. I appreciate some cats love affection and playtime, whilst others may find a stranger in their home very stressful. I like to spend my time building trust with your cat/s and will take their lead. If this means pets and playtime then that's what we will do, if a cat is more unsure I will allow them to come to me and will be as unthreatening to them as possible. I also have approximately 10 years of experience owning rabbits, guinea pigs and hamsters, so will be happy to care for these also if needed.

Communication was great; I knew when to expect updates and Hannah always delivered, making sure we had no need to worry while we were away. Hannah did a great job looking after our boy even though he can be a pickle!

Great cat sitter, great communication and looked after our rather elderly Norwegian Forrest cat perfectly, including administering medication. And more than that, you could tell she loved animals, and that our cat trusted her. 5 stars, would definitely recommend

Schedule
As I am a nurse, should my cat-sitting duties fall when I am on shift I would be looking to conduct my visits before or after my shifts. My shifts are 7am-7.30pm and 7pm-7.30am. I appreciate this pattern may not be suitable for all sits, hence why I am disclosing this now. However, I typically only work 3 shifts per week which does give a high chance of sits falling when I am not working and so my call-ins can be much more flexible.
