She takes the time to learn his boundaries and is very good at asserting her boundaries too. Toni was even offering his paw and listening to her recall commands, and this was just the 2nd session of bonding. Long may this continue up until and beyond our vacation in June, where Ieva has provisionally agreed to house sit Toni and his cat sister Zora.”

About: I’ve looked after dogs since I was young, I also had my own staffy when I was 8 years old, he unfortunately passed away at the age of 13. I’ve looked after dogs of all sizes including but not limited to husky’s, chihuahuas and spaniels🐶. I have a huge love for dogs. I can teach basic commands, I also drive so can do appointment drop offs and pickups too🚗 I’m currently working part time, I’m available everyday from 11:30am and Wednesdays from 10am so will have plenty of time to look after your furry friends 🐾 I have a fenced front and back garden and a quality camera on the front of the house to keep your dogs safe. They will have free roam of the downstairs of the house and will only ever be left for an hour tops. If needed I will be there through the entirety of their stay.

About: I’ve had dogs since I was 5 years old and have always known how much I loved animals, which is why I’m now a registered veterinary nurse. I treat every animal as if they are my own and I know the stress and worry it can cause having someone else looking after your pets, so I’m here to make that experience much easier. I have experience with training young and old pets and my qualification has solidified that even more. I also have experience and knowledge when it comes to caring for older pets or those with more complex needs. I work 4 days a week and have Saturday-Mondays off so will be able to longer visits/walks on these days. I can also pop in for a visit in the morning before and evenings after work. Whether I’m looking after your pet(s) in my own home or yours, they will be treated like my own with nothing but love and comfort.

About: I have always loved and cared for dogs since I was a child. Myself and my husband share a love of all dogs and can't resist making a fuss of them! We have looked after others dogs for long periods and welcomed them into our home wanting them to feel loved and comfortable whilst away from their families. My experience is mainly with small/medium breeds and have two Chihuahuas myself now who are loving and friendly dogs. My youngest dog Olive is only a year old so have recent puppy experience, and my eldest dog Lola is 11 so I also have experience with more senior dogs. I am experienced at medication administration as this is something I do daily for Lola, and have experience doing this for dogs in my care also. We want any furry friend staying with us to feel relaxed, comfortable and like they are at a home-from-home whilst their humans are away. We know the importance of being able to relax and trust someone else with your companion whilst you are away and love being able to offer that to others whilst they enjoy holidays or weekends away. I currently work in a flexible role where I work from home the majority of the time. This allows me to spend time with dogs whilst working and breaks usually consist of walks around the neighbourhood and out in the garden (in the nicer weather). We are mainly available for long weekend (Fri-Mon) boarding, however with some notice we can accommodate longer boarding. We have a secure home with a front gate and fully secure enclosed back garden which is small but ideal for smaller/medium dogs to stretch their legs and bask in the sun during the warmer months. Dogs will have free roam of the downstairs area and we are happy to accommodate their routines and quirks as much as possible whilst you are away. Our youngest dog is only 1 so we live in a 'puppy proofed' environment. Having small breed dogs I am very protective and aware of extra care with safety and security so your dog can relax in our home with peace of mind that they are safe. We have a child-free home and our dogs are the centre of our world so we understand that your dog is not just a pet but a family member and would treat them as we would our own.
