“I was a bit worried about leaving Myloe but he seemed at home at the meet and greet and when we dropped him off. Judging by the photos he seemed to enjoy himself especially with the children. However as Myloe is quite sensitive he did stress as he rarely away from at least one of us and had several accidents. Full marks to Amy who took everything in her stride and let us know how things were going. Thanks Amy for looking after him, trying to destress him and what probably felt like endless mopping up. Myloe came back happy from his holiday and we felt reassured he was being looked after well”

When we have used kennels in the past, he cries the minute we pick him up but after picking him up from Lucy, he was the same, happy bouncy dog. He has high energy but Lucy managed to tire him out and I have no doubt beautiful Gwen, their puppy labrador, helped too. I would never return to normal kennels after this experience. “Stephanie looked after my little cat, Bonnie, so that I could take a short break overseas. Bonnie is a rescue cat and had not met people other than me since adopting her in January of this year. She also does not like other cats. I was a little apprehensive as to how she would adapt to someone new coming to the house. Stephanie arranged to visit us a few days before my trip, and I found her to be very professional, polite, and obviously an animal lover. Bonnie interacted with her quite well, which both surprised and delighted me, I was very relieved at how well she took to Stephanie. I was able to go away with no worries about leaving her; Stephanie sent me regular updates with photos, and I could see Bonnie was happy and relaxed in her company. About: I had cats from as young as 5 until about 6 years ago when I lost my last Persian and couldn’t bare losing another. I love all cats of all types and am more than happy to ensure they’re fed, watered loved and cuddled (if that’s what they want of course) and are kept indoors if need be. Smithy is a rescue greyhound, so I was really worried about finding someone who would understand him, his background and all his little quirks, rather than treating him like just any other dog. About: As a child, I have always been fond of having pets, particularly dogs. Over the years, I have taken care of dogs of different sizes, including the one in the picture, which belongs to my sister. We often joke that he is my second godson. One time, I assisted a professional dog walker as a favour, and I enjoyed it so much that it felt like she did me a favour instead. About: I’m an insured and dbs checked dog walker. I worked in a dog groomers so have experience with all breeds of dogs. I had 2 fur babies of my own until recently, sadly they are no longer with me. I believe all dogs should have the run of the house and be treated like family because they are! I’d look after your fur baby like they are my own. I currently work around the school times mostly then once school runs are done I work until evening time. This is everyday apart from weekend, where I am free to look after pets anytime. I have an enclosed garden with a high wall. I would take dogs out for walks twice a day unless otherwise requested or is is too hot. I work shift work and so I have days free consistently to spend 1 on 1 with your loved pets. My lifestyle is very active and outdoors and so pets fit naturally in my routine and activity. Working in the emergency services has given me a calm and reassuring approach to all situations — including caring for nervous or elderly pets. About: When we lost our black lab; our family dog to old age, I have walked and looked after neighbours dogs and have enjoyed it so much. I would love a dog of my own, however I live alone and work full time therefore at present I do not feel this would be fair. I live nearby lots of lovely walks, which I love to explore and would love to canine friend to join! I have a secure garden which they could explore and also live in a mews, therefore have a secure front area back from the road. I have a current DBS and am recently canine first aid trained ✅️ I could walk your dog any week night or week morning if close by and i can offer dog sitting from a Friday early evening to Sunday eve/ Monday morning. I would be happy to visit/stay at the owners house if you would prefer the dog to remain in their own environment. I have no pets of my own and live alone. I have a secure front and back garden and a spare room which would easily fit a crate in of your dog likes to use one.
About: I have had dogs as long as I can remember. I had the most beautiful Newfie up until two years ago. Currently I have an 14 year old Jack Russell who struggles to walk and can be looked after by the rest of my family if I am away. I have grown up with newfies, cats and Jack Russell’s. Always had at least one or two of each at a time. I am currently a mature student and my hobbies include studying in some lovely quiet surrounding while Also taking (well, until the last year or so as she’s not longer able) my dog on adventures up Mountains, beaches and to new place - her being unable to now is what is driving my need to do this for another dog. I am currently studying for a degree as a mature student of nearly 50 years old. My beautiful Jack Russell is 14 years old, deaf and going blind. We used to have adventures every day and I desperate miss that as she can no longer walk more than 20 minutes at a time anymore. She will stay home with husband and kids while I’m away. I would love to look after your dogs/cats and take them for walks or adventures or just cuddles or playing whatever they need or want. After all their needs are seen to I can concentrate on my studies and on my breaks can take them for comfort breaks or little walks for a change of scenery. I dot look after pets in my own home as my poor of Jack Russell is not an animal ‘person/dog’. I would never put her happiness at risk. I only look after pets in their own home (because that’s also where they feel more comfortable - especially when their loved ones are away). I happy to follow whatever schedule they’re used to or prefer. I’m happy to do king adventurous walks or smaller/shorter walks through the day.

About: I have owned and cared for a range of animals including dogs, cats, horses, rabbits and hamsters. I also have experience of providing care for cats and dogs at a dog kennels and cattery - this included walking the dogs. I walks lots, have an enclosed garden and work from home with my partner. I currently work from home with a flexible schedule and working pattern meaning I can fit in pet care throughout the week. My evenings and weekends are also free for pet care. “Alf our elderly Spaniel loves going to Nina his tail starts wagging when we reach her front door. Nina is great in keeping me updated and sending pictures of Alf throughout his stay. Nina and Alex obviously love dogs and Alf loves them (not that I am jealous!) If you are worried about leaving your dog I would hundred percent recommend Nina -she is my go to for Alf whenever we need to go away.”
