Both my partner and I work from home, so there is almost always someone at home during the day. This means dogs are rarely left alone and can settle into a calm, consistent routine with plenty of supervision and reassurance. I structure care around quiet, one-to-one walks and predictable routines, which works particularly well for dogs who are anxious, sensitive, or reactive. I’m happy to discuss individual needs, routines, and triggers to make sure each dog feels safe and supported. My home is calm, spacious, and set up with dogs’ comfort and safety in mind. There’s a large, secure fenced garden for supervised outdoor time, and dogs are treated as part of the family — welcome in all the spaces we use so they’re never isolated or shut away. Safety and trust are central to how I care for dogs. I only take dogs I’m confident I can safely support, and care is always one-to-one or from the same household. Routines, boundaries, and handling are tailored to each dog, particularly those who may be anxious or reactive. I have two dog-savvy children who understand how to give dogs space and respect their signals, and all interactions are supervised. My aim is to provide a calm, predictable environment where dogs feel secure, understood, and genuinely at home.

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is the level of care and attention I give to every pet. I treat each one as if they were my own, making sure they feel comfortable, safe, and loved while their owners are away. I’m very reliable and patient, and I take the time to get to know each pet’s individual needs and Work from home so I have plenty of time for looking after pets and I am also very active so able to exercise if required I have a garden with high fencing. Tina saw quickly that we weren’t local so a meet and greet beforehand wasn’t possible Therefore she suggested a phone call so we were able to introduce ourselves, tell her about Bella and ask any questions. Having had that call with Tina we felt confident that all would be fine. On meeting Tina outside her house our good impressions from the call were immediately confirmed. Tina obviously has a deep love for dogs and knows how to care for them - we wouldn’t hesitate to contact her again if we had a similar need and would recommend her wholeheartedly. Bella enjoyed her time and was very relaxed ..,and we enjoyed talking to Tina and her family..”

About: I have had pets growing up and 14 years experience with dogs. Our dog was a very playful and excited puppy, he grew to be a very large dog so I am experienced with all sizes. I have experience with senior dogs and understand how different it is taking them for a walk compared to a younger dog with lots of energy. I currently work part time so have lots of spare time for walking and looking after dogs. This is the first period of time we haven’t had a pet in 14 years so I have all the time for other dogs now. Over the last few years I’ve also walked my friends dogs when they’ve been away and family dogs when they haven’t been able to. I care for dogs walking them, playing with them ensuring they are happy. I won’t walk dogs in extreme heat as this is not safe for them. Ensure they always have access to water

“This was Bella's first time with a dog sitter. She seemed to absolutely love spending the day with Luna and Wayne and arrived home ready for bed. Wayne kept me up to date with photos and videos during the day. It was lovely and very reassuring to see Bella and Luna having such fun but also the pics of downtime and cuddles. I would highly recommend Wayne, he was knowledgeable, kind and very attentive to Bella's needs.”

About: As well as taking care of my 7 year old Shi-poo, I’ve walked and house sat for dogs from puppies to 10+, big and small. I work full-time in local government with mostly home working and relaxed start/ finish times. I walk up to 10km everyday, so would keep your furry friend happy and active and I’d love the added company! I have a fenced garden for toilet trips and a 7 year old shi-poo to keep your dog company. Flexible on preferred sleeping arrangements, whether a crate or in a dog bed downstairs or in the bedroom.
