Doggy Day Care in Newport

About: Fully licensed with Newport City Council. I’ll provide calm, one-to-one care for dogs who need patience, routine, and understanding. My approach is shaped by years of living with a high-needs, reactive dog, so I’m comfortable supporting dogs who may be anxious, sensitive, or overwhelmed in busy environments. I focus on low-stress walks, consistent routines, and building trust at each dog’s pace. I’m reliable, attentive, and always put safety and wellbeing first. I’m happy to work closely with owners to make sure their dog feels secure and cared for. I absolutely adore dogs, and we’re excited to open our home to some canine companions! Both my partner and I work from home, so there is almost always someone at home during the day. This means dogs are rarely left alone and can settle into a calm, consistent routine with plenty of supervision and reassurance. I structure care around quiet, one-to-one walks and predictable routines, which works particularly well for dogs who are anxious, sensitive, or reactive. I’m happy to discuss individual needs, routines, and triggers to make sure each dog feels safe and supported. My home is calm, spacious, and set up with dogs’ comfort and safety in mind. There’s a large, secure fenced garden for supervised outdoor time, and dogs are treated as part of the family — welcome in all the spaces we use so they’re never isolated or shut away. Safety and trust are central to how I care for dogs. I only take dogs I’m confident I can safely support, and care is always one-to-one or from the same household. Routines, boundaries, and handling are tailored to each dog, particularly those who may be anxious or reactive. I have two dog-savvy children who understand how to give dogs space and respect their signals, and all interactions are supervised. My aim is to provide a calm, predictable environment where dogs feel secure, understood, and genuinely at home.

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is the level of care and attention I give to every pet. About: I’ve looked after dogs since I was young, I also had my own staffy when I was 8 years old, he unfortunately passed away at the age of 13. I’ve looked after dogs of all sizes including but not limited to husky’s, chihuahuas and spaniels🐶. I have a huge love for dogs. I can teach basic commands, I also drive so can do appointment drop offs and pickups too🚗 I’m currently working part time, I’m available everyday from 11:30am and Wednesdays from 10am so will have plenty of time to look after your furry friends 🐾 I have a fenced front and back garden and a quality camera on the front of the house to keep your dogs safe. They will have free roam of the downstairs of the house and will only ever be left for an hour tops. If needed I will be there through the entirety of their stay.

“Sam and her husband Anthony were absolutely fantastic with my little fella, Woody. From the very start they filled me with confidence, introducing Woody to their two lovely furry family members and making him feel right at home. Sam kept me updated throughout the day with photos and videos, and it was clear to see just how much fun Woody was having. When I collected him, Sam gave me a thoughtful breakdown of their day together, and Woody was happily tired, a sure sign of great care and plenty of playtime. They are genuinely wonderful people who provided even better care for Woody. I’ll definitely be booking with them again, and I highly recommend you do too!”

About: My husband and I have both grown up around dogs and absolutely love having them as part of the family. We now have a friendly Labrador of our own, who is completely spoiled and treated like our first baby! I’ve also regularly looked after family members’ dogs, so I’m comfortable with different personalities and routines. We have an almost 2-year-old toddler who adores dogs and has grown up around them, so your pup would be welcomed into a warm, loving home full of attention, cuddles, playtime, and care. I genuinely love animals and always make sure they feel safe, happy, and part of the family while they’re with us. I currently work part-time from home three days a week, and spend the other two days at home with my toddler. My husband also works from home running his own business, so there is almost always someone here to give your dog plenty of attention, playtime, cuddles, and care throughout the day. We can offer boarding on weekends and possibly weekdays depending on availability, as well as doggy daycare from Tuesday to Thursday. Your pup will be treated like part of the family in our loving, dog-friendly home. Your dog will be cared for in a safe, loving, family environment with plenty of space to play and relax. We have a large, fenced garden for outdoor time, as well as our friendly 3 year old male Labrador who loves the company of other dogs. There’s also a large field at the end of our street where I regularly take lunchtime walks, plus a park nearby for extra exercise, sniffing adventures, and playtime. Whether your pup loves cuddles on the sofa, playing in the garden, or getting out for walks, we’ll make sure they feel happy, comfortable and right at home with us.
