About: We’re a calm, dog-loving household in Barry, offering genuine home-based boarding and daycare. We are licensed for home boarding by the Vale of Glamorgan Council and insured. We don’t have any pets ourselves and typically only take on 1 dog at a time so your dog will have our full attention and affections! 🐾 I live in a spacious three-bedroom home with my partner (Ashley) and his 13-year-old son. We have a secure private garden, plenty of indoor space, and no pets of our own. We’ve grown up with dogs and cats all our lives, including Labradors, Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, Husky Crosses and British Shorthairs. We’re confident with daily care, routines, enrichment and basic training, and we take time to understand each dog’s personality so they feel relaxed and settled. I work from home, meaning dogs are rarely left alone and receive constant supervision, companionship and reassurance. I’m very happy to follow specific routines, feeding schedules or medication requirements. Dogs have full access to our home and garden, plus regular walks in local parks and dog-friendly beaches around Barry. Walks and playtime are always tailored to your dog’s energy levels. We offer dog boarding and doggy daycare in a calm, kennel-free environment, with regular photo updates and flexible arrangements. Meet-and-greets are always welcome to make sure it’s a great fit. Your dog will be cared for as if they were our own – safely, calmly and with lots of love. 🐾 I work full time (9am-5pm) but I work from home so my days are very flexible. I have plenty of time for attention and playtime as often as the pets need. I will be supervising the pets at all times and will ensure that there is nothing dangerous within reach. Safety will always be front of mind.

About: My partner and I have had pets for our whole lives. I have mainly had experience with smaller dogs and cats that crave the attention and love I provide, whereas my partner has experience looking after larger dogs such as staffs, huskies, and german shepherds. We both adore animals and have passion for pets that we rarely get to indulge in. We can't wait to take care of your pet in our home and treat them like our own. We usually wake up around 6am and go to the gym to be back in the house by 8:30. My partner works from home 9-5 whereas I am currently unemployed and have free time all day to look after your pet. If I do for some reason need to leave the house, it will not be for much longer than 2 hours, so your pet will always have someone close by. If morning pick up or drop off is needed, I am very flexible and will move my schedule around to fit your needs. I have an unfenced garden but have anchor points if your pet would like to go in the garden on a lead. I have a little Jack Russel terrier who is calm with any dogs in his presence once he has had a feel for their vibe. We don't have a crate, but we do have the space for one if you would like to bring your own, and we have a bath in which I can bathe your pet and trim or file their nails if you would like (this will cost extra).

About: I have a huge passion for dogs! All dogs, all breeds, any size, I will love them like my own! And since using this platform, I have also developed a love for cats! I have used Rover for several years with consistent work, so I would very much consider myself a professional pet sitter! I have provided care for a range of pets including energetic puppies, docile seniors, nervous rescues, cuddly fluff balls and everything in between. I have the ability to remain calm and grounded so that your pet feels safe and comfortable in my care. Knowing that every pet and every owner is different, I am flexible with providing a unique service to suit you and your beloved animals. Having always had a family dog, I’m used to being around them, walking them, playing with them, fussing them and generally giving them the care and attention they need. And as a part time nanny, I often provide daily care for the animals in the family too! I have volunteered for a dog rescue centre, socialising the puppies and keeping the anxious dogs calm. I am used caring for to more than one pet at a time (the more the merrier!) and will always treat your pet as if it’s my own. They will surely be loved! I have taught a puppy to sit, lie down and roll over. I have administered daily medication for elderly animals. I have administered flea treatment. I have carefully bathed mucky pups keeping them calm and happy whilst doing so. I have carefully cared for pets with poorly tummies feeding them a simple diet where necessary. As a self employed actor I often have a lot of time on my hands between jobs and during the daytime if I’m in work. I’m also a life coach and run my own business from home, so I have plenty of time during the day to spend looking after your pets and keeping them company. With my line of work it is not always practical to own a pet (much to my sadness!) but by providing for other people’s pets, I get all the joy whilst helping others too… a win win situation. I will always pay special attention to each animal’s individual needs and stick as close as possible to the animal’s usual routine so that it feels happy and comfortable.

About: Growing up on a farm in Texas and having now lived in Wales for 5 years I have had a wide variety of different pets! I am a devoted parent to my 1 year old Cockapoo Pippo so have experience with energetic puppies! A tank of tropical fish are also part of our family!! In the USA I ran an unofficial rescue for Turtles and Tortoises that were native to Texas and at risk from cars. I also kept a variety of tropical birds. I also had a pet African Pygmy hedgehog and always had cats while I lived there. Whilst living on a farm I helped look after ducks, chickens, bunnies, dogs, cats, a goat and a horse. I have always enjoyed caring for animals and will treat yours with the same love and respect as my own! My boyfriend and I live together but he works away a lot so I will be the only sitter with all my focus on your pets needs. I am currently at home full time waiting for university to start up again in September to do my masters degree. So I can devote my time to catering to my pups and yours needs. Having had many pets myself I know how much they mean, becoming a key part of any family. I will always put their safety and wellbeing above anything else.

“Jack looked after my little pup for the first time. Communication was great from before drop off to pick up. From the moment we walked in it was such a friendly vibe. Zuri felt right at home and we instantly felt comfortable that he’d be happy. He was excited going in and after leaving them the photos we got from Jack throughout the day showed how much fun he had with Jack and his gorgeous two doggy friends, Myrtle and Dex, to play with. The updates were great and communicated well throughout, assuring us Zuri was in the best possible care. Looking after a pup is no easy feat, but Jack got stuck in from the start and did tremendously well meeting Zuri for the first time. He was very warm and Zuri found him approachable right away, he was so settled coming home and you could tell he had a fun packed day. Thank you so much Jack! Will definitely go with Jack again without any doubt!”

About: Hi, we’re Marcus and Josh 😁! Between us, we've had 6 dogs. The latest is our very sweet labrador retriever! We're able to cater to a variety of different energy needs, from the laziest to the most energetic! We have fields and woods near our house, so we are able to give walks of different lengths. Your dog can also stay in a separate room, upon request. Both of us work from home, so there will always be at least one person with the dogs at all times. We are able to provide morning, lunchtime, and evening walks. Boarding is available upon request. We can accommodate most dates! We have a fenced garden and a friendly labrador if your dog needs company. We can provide a separate sleeping area for your dog if needed. We do not have a crate, so if crating is required, we would need the crate to be dropped off and picked up.

“We left our puppy, Lucy, with Kate during the days while we went back to Canada to visit me family. To say she was amazing would be an understatement. Lucy was so well taken care of and so happy to go to Kates house everyday. We were very worried leaving Lucy for the first time but Kate made all or worries go away with daily photos and check ins telling us what they got up to. Not to mention her kids were fantastic with her and lucy thoroughly enjoyed all of the cuddles and play time she got with them! We are so grateful we found her and will 100% be using her in the future :)”

I provide a safe quiet home from home with an active daily routine. I have gained expierience dog sitting for family & friends offering boarding & day care. I am an active person. We have 2 weekly beach visits along with daily walks around cardiff & surrounding areas. First Aid trained, DBS checked & fully insured. I work part time from home & pets will only be left unttended whilst popping to the gym or shops. All dogs will sleep in my large kitchen diner & be part of the family with plenty of cwtches :) I have a large secure garden & I live 5 minutes away from large playing fields. We have 2 weekly beach walks along with daily walks around cardiff & surrounding areas.
