About: My partner and I have had pets for our whole lives. I have mainly had experience with smaller dogs and cats that crave the attention and love I provide, whereas my partner has experience looking after larger dogs such as staffs, huskies, and german shepherds. We both adore animals and have passion for pets that we rarely get to indulge in. We can't wait to take care of your pet in our home and treat them like our own. We usually wake up around 6am and go to the gym to be back in the house by 8:30. My partner works from home 9-5 whereas I am currently unemployed and have free time all day to look after your pet. If I do for some reason need to leave the house, it will not be for much longer than 2 hours, so your pet will always have someone close by. If morning pick up or drop off is needed, I am very flexible and will move my schedule around to fit your needs. I have an unfenced garden but have anchor points if your pet would like to go in the garden on a lead. I have a little Jack Russel terrier who is calm with any dogs in his presence once he has had a feel for their vibe. We don't have a crate, but we do have the space for one if you would like to bring your own, and we have a bath in which I can bathe your pet and trim or file their nails if you would like (this will cost extra).

About: I am dog lovers and the human of a 2-year-old Lurcher. I have experience walking and boarding family and friends' dogs. I am my friends' go-to dog sitters and would love to be yours too! I work from home. I'll be around all day to let the dogs out in the garden for a toilet break, play with them and give them some cuddles and treats. I am a homewoner, and our pup is allowed on the sofa and bed. If your pup likes to cuddle on the sofa/bed, we will be happy to cuddle with them. If you are training them to stay away from the sofa/bed, we will make sure to do the same to help you with the training. We have a fully fenced garden in the back of the house where all dogs are allowed to go potty and play.

About: I have a huge passion for dogs! All dogs, all breeds, any size, I will love them like my own! And since using this platform, I have also developed a love for cats! I have used Rover for several years with consistent work, so I would very much consider myself a professional pet sitter! I have provided care for a range of pets including energetic puppies, docile seniors, nervous rescues, cuddly fluff balls and everything in between. I have the ability to remain calm and grounded so that your pet feels safe and comfortable in my care. Knowing that every pet and every owner is different, I am flexible with providing a unique service to suit you and your beloved animals. Having always had a family dog, I’m used to being around them, walking them, playing with them, fussing them and generally giving them the care and attention they need. And as a part time nanny, I often provide daily care for the animals in the family too! I have volunteered for a dog rescue centre, socialising the puppies and keeping the anxious dogs calm. I am used caring for to more than one pet at a time (the more the merrier!) and will always treat your pet as if it’s my own. They will surely be loved! I have taught a puppy to sit, lie down and roll over. I have administered daily medication for elderly animals. I have administered flea treatment. I have carefully bathed mucky pups keeping them calm and happy whilst doing so. I have carefully cared for pets with poorly tummies feeding them a simple diet where necessary. As a self employed actor I often have a lot of time on my hands between jobs and during the daytime if I’m in work. I’m also a life coach and run my own business from home, so I have plenty of time during the day to spend looking after your pets and keeping them company. With my line of work it is not always practical to own a pet (much to my sadness!) but by providing for other people’s pets, I get all the joy whilst helping others too… a win win situation. I will always pay special attention to each animal’s individual needs and stick as close as possible to the animal’s usual routine so that it feels happy and comfortable.

About: I have been dogsitting fulltime for over a year now, I’ve looked after dogs of all sizes and temperaments. I’ve had a dog for ten years, during which I would dogsitting a dog at a time alongside him. I’m currently not working, and spend almost all my time at home, so I’ll be able to provide to any of your pets’ needs whenever. I have a walled garden which is very secure, since I am home the majority of the time I can let pets into the garden whenever they like. I walk dogs for an hour in the morning and an hour in the evening or in whatever way the dog, or you, prefers. Pets are not allowed upstairs. I only look after one pet at a time.

About: My husband and I currently have an 11 year old cockerchon who is friendly with other dogs and with humans. We’ve previously had a bichon for 10 years prior to that. My husband and I are both retired and so have lots of time for dog walks. We have fields at the end of our cul-de-sac for local walks. We also regularly go to beaches and other parks around Cardiff. We have a safe enclosed rear garden which is dog friendly. We also have a dog flap for smaller breeds! We happy to take dogs that are friendly. We would want to meet your dog along with ours prior to confirming the first booking. We’re retired, so are able to be around for your pets and give them regular walks. We’re happy to feed them as per your instructions. We have a safe fenced garden which is dog friendly. We have experience in also looking after friend’s dogs. We’re happy to have dogs upstairs with us at night if this is what they’re used to. We’ll send you regular photos of your dog to put your mind at rest.

About: We’re a calm, dog-loving household in Barry, offering genuine home-based boarding and daycare. We are licensed for home boarding by the Vale of Glamorgan Council and insured. We don’t have any pets ourselves and typically only take on 1 dog at a time so your dog will have our full attention and affections! 🐾 I live in a spacious three-bedroom home with my partner (Ashley) and his 13-year-old son. We have a secure private garden, plenty of indoor space, and no pets of our own. We’re confident with daily care, routines, enrichment and basic training, and we take time to understand each dog’s personality so they feel relaxed and settled. I work from home, meaning dogs are rarely left alone and receive constant supervision, companionship and reassurance. Dogs have full access to our home and garden, plus regular walks in local parks and dog-friendly beaches around Barry. Walks and playtime are always tailored to your dog’s energy levels. We offer dog boarding and doggy daycare in a calm, kennel-free environment, with regular photo updates and flexible arrangements. Meet-and-greets are always welcome to make sure it’s a great fit. “Diane is a lovely person, who offered to look after my Great Dane at short notice. Her bio said that she has experience with Danes which is why I chose her. She was reliable, trustworthy and communicated well throughout the day I was away. She looked after my house and dog well. One thing her bio did not state is that she has mobility difficulties and at one point fell over when my dog was excited and wanted to play with another dog. I suggest she is best used for people with older and small dogs, when the otherwise good care she provides does not result in accidents when out walking.”

About: I’ve got a 1-year old Cavapoo that absolutely loves other dogs. I take him for at least 2 walks a day, sometimes three, being very active myself and situated within a short walk to two parks. To me dogs are too good for us humans. I believe their good nature should be rewarded with love, affection, walkies, cuddles, and all the belly rubs they want. I’m self employed and work from home so they’ll never be left on their own for long, if at all. I’m home most of the time, being self employed and working from home. When I do go out, I tend to bring my own dog with me so I know all the dog-friendly places. So just as my own dog Edgar is well looked after, so will your beloved fur baby. I have a fenced in garden and a three bedroom home which is fully open to your pup. I have a small crate if needed and all the necessary things since I have my own small dog.

“We left our puppy, Lucy, with Kate during the days while we went back to Canada to visit me family. To say she was amazing would be an understatement. Lucy was so well taken care of and so happy to go to Kates house everyday. We were very worried leaving Lucy for the first time but Kate made all or worries go away with daily photos and check ins telling us what they got up to. Not to mention her kids were fantastic with her and lucy thoroughly enjoyed all of the cuddles and play time she got with them! We are so grateful we found her and will 100% be using her in the future :)”
