“I’d highly recommend Dominique for dog sitting! She was a lifesaver for us by accepting a short notice booking. She’s really responsive, accommodating and friendly. Most importantly our Golden Retriever Jessie had such a great time that she didn’t want to leave!”

About: We’re a calm, dog-loving household in Barry, offering genuine home-based boarding and daycare. We are licensed for home boarding by the Vale of Glamorgan Council and insured. We don’t have any pets ourselves and typically only take on 1 dog at a time so your dog will have our full attention and affections! 🐾 I live in a spacious three-bedroom home with my partner (Ashley) and his 13-year-old son. We have a secure private garden, plenty of indoor space, and no pets of our own. We’ve grown up with dogs and cats all our lives, including Labradors, Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, Husky Crosses and British Shorthairs. We’re confident with daily care, routines, enrichment and basic training, and we take time to understand each dog’s personality so they feel relaxed and settled. I work from home, meaning dogs are rarely left alone and receive constant supervision, companionship and reassurance. I’m very happy to follow specific routines, feeding schedules or medication requirements. Dogs have full access to our home and garden, plus regular walks in local parks and dog-friendly beaches around Barry. Walks and playtime are always tailored to your dog’s energy levels. We offer dog boarding and doggy daycare in a calm, kennel-free environment, with regular photo updates and flexible arrangements. Meet-and-greets are always welcome to make sure it’s a great fit. Your dog will be cared for as if they were our own – safely, calmly and with lots of love. 🐾 I work full time (9am-5pm) but I work from home so my days are very flexible. I have plenty of time for attention and playtime as often as the pets need. I will be supervising the pets at all times and will ensure that there is nothing dangerous within reach. Safety will always be front of mind.
“A big thank you to Natasha. As visitors to the area and a Gavin and Stacey tour booked, we were unable to take Otis with us. We reached out to Natasha and she was able to fit us in! She put us at ease and was fantastic with Otis. We had regular 'pup dates,' which meant we could enjoy our day! Otis had a fantastic time and enjoyed his two walks thoroughly and all thr undivided attention. 🙂”

About: I have a huge passion for dogs! All dogs, all breeds, any size, I will love them like my own! And since using this platform, I have also developed a love for cats! I have used Rover for several years with consistent work, so I would very much consider myself a professional pet sitter! I have provided care for a range of pets including energetic puppies, docile seniors, nervous rescues, cuddly fluff balls and everything in between. I have the ability to remain calm and grounded so that your pet feels safe and comfortable in my care. Knowing that every pet and every owner is different, I am flexible with providing a unique service to suit you and your beloved animals. Having always had a family dog, I’m used to being around them, walking them, playing with them, fussing them and generally giving them the care and attention they need. And as a part time nanny, I often provide daily care for the animals in the family too! I have volunteered for a dog rescue centre, socialising the puppies and keeping the anxious dogs calm. I am used caring for to more than one pet at a time (the more the merrier!) and will always treat your pet as if it’s my own. They will surely be loved! I have taught a puppy to sit, lie down and roll over. I have administered daily medication for elderly animals. I have administered flea treatment. I have carefully bathed mucky pups keeping them calm and happy whilst doing so. I have carefully cared for pets with poorly tummies feeding them a simple diet where necessary. As a self employed actor I often have a lot of time on my hands between jobs and during the daytime if I’m in work. I’m also a life coach and run my own business from home, so I have plenty of time during the day to spend looking after your pets and keeping them company. With my line of work it is not always practical to own a pet (much to my sadness!) but by providing for other people’s pets, I get all the joy whilst helping others too… a win win situation. I will always pay special attention to each animal’s individual needs and stick as close as possible to the animal’s usual routine so that it feels happy and comfortable.

About: I am a responsible and caring individual who enjoys spending time with animals. I have experience caring for pets belonging to friends and neighbours, including feeding, walking, playing, and making sure they feel comfortable and safe. I am attentive to each pet’s needs and ensure they receive plenty of care, exercise, and companionship while their owners are away. I have a flexible schedule and can provide pet care during weekdays and weekends. I am available for dog walking, drop-in visits, and pet sitting depending on the owner’s needs. I always make sure pets receive enough attention, exercise, and care during the time I spend with them. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my priority. I follow the owner’s instructions carefully, ensure pets are supervised, and maintain a clean and calm environment. I make sure pets are well fed, exercised, and happy, and I keep owners updated with messages and photos during visits.

“Koko had a lovely time! He seemed lovely and worn out when I picked him up which speaks volumes. Paula was wonderfully accommodating and seemed to get on with the little dude. Thank you!”

About: Hi, we’re Marcus and Josh 😁! Between us, we've had 6 dogs. The latest is our very sweet labrador retriever! We're able to cater to a variety of different energy needs, from the laziest to the most energetic! We have fields and woods near our house, so we are able to give walks of different lengths. Your dog can also stay in a separate room, upon request. Both of us work from home, so there will always be at least one person with the dogs at all times. We are able to provide morning, lunchtime, and evening walks. Boarding is available upon request. We can accommodate most dates! We have a fenced garden and a friendly labrador if your dog needs company. We can provide a separate sleeping area for your dog if needed. We do not have a crate, so if crating is required, we would need the crate to be dropped off and picked up.
“Bella squeaked with excitement in the car today on the way over, and when she got there she dove out of the car and straight into the house. She absolutely LOVES staying here with Cherine, Connor and her doggy friend Ned! Bella is always well cared for and made to feel at home. I cannot recommend them enough!”

About: Growing up on a farm in Texas and having now lived in Wales for 5 years I have had a wide variety of different pets! I am a devoted parent to my 1 year old Cockapoo Pippo so have experience with energetic puppies! A tank of tropical fish are also part of our family!! In the USA I ran an unofficial rescue for Turtles and Tortoises that were native to Texas and at risk from cars. I also kept a variety of tropical birds. I also had a pet African Pygmy hedgehog and always had cats while I lived there. Whilst living on a farm I helped look after ducks, chickens, bunnies, dogs, cats, a goat and a horse. I have always enjoyed caring for animals and will treat yours with the same love and respect as my own! My boyfriend and I live together but he works away a lot so I will be the only sitter with all my focus on your pets needs. I am currently coming to the end of a maternity cover role with the homelessness charity Llamau for young people age 16-25 and am looking to explore new opportunities! Having had many pets myself I know how much they mean, becoming a key part of any family. I will always put their safety and wellbeing above anything else.
About: Starting this in 2019 was just a dream of walking dogs around amazing areas of where I live. Now 6 years down the line it’s my fulltime job and I couldn’t imagine doing anything else 🐾 This is my fulltime job. Dogs are with me all day and are not left alone (minus the odd trip to Tesco) they have toilet breaks whenever needed and plenty of time for walkies I have a large fenced garden with grass and patio. Lots of balls and toys to play around with. Downstairs is spacious and a nice sofa to snuggle on. Cleaning products are DEFRA approved.
About: I’ve taken care of my own pets at my hometown, including two cats (British Shorthair and a domestic shorthair) and one Broder Collie. I’m very familiar with daily pet care routines such as feeding, providing toilet breaks, playtime, and giving lots of love and attention. I’m comfortable looking after both cats and dogs of different personalities. I’m currently working part time, so I have plenty of flexible time caring for and playing with your pets! Boarding is available everyday with advance notice. I live in a pet-friendly flat in a quiet, welcoming neighbourhood. There are already several lovely cats and dogs around the area, so it’s very pet-friendly. My place is close to Victoria Park, which has great space for walking dogs, exploring, and getting fresh air.
“Recently had the pleasure of having Mia take care of my dog Cooper and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. From the meet and greet Mia was warm and welcoming and clearly loves dogs. Throughout the stay Mia kept me updated with regular photos and messages which gave me peace of mind knowing that Cooper was in good hands. Cooper seemed to have a fantastic time enjoying walks, playtime and lots of cuddles. Mia was also very accommodating with drop off and pick up times making the whole process smooth and stress free. I highly recommend Mia to anyone looking for a reliable and caring dog sitter.”

“We left our puppy, Lucy, with Kate during the days while we went back to Canada to visit me family. To say she was amazing would be an understatement. Lucy was so well taken care of and so happy to go to Kates house everyday. We were very worried leaving Lucy for the first time but Kate made all or worries go away with daily photos and check ins telling us what they got up to. Not to mention her kids were fantastic with her and lucy thoroughly enjoyed all of the cuddles and play time she got with them! We are so grateful we found her and will 100% be using her in the future :)”

“I booked Winston in with Danah last minute for 2 days of day care. Winston had a lovely time. Danah was brilliant with providing updates and also administered eyedrops for me in the day which was really helpful. I would recommend her and would happily book Winston in with her again.”

“Would highly recommend Jack and his partner, my dog Jasper tends to be quite nervous around new people but he settled in quite quickly and loved going there. Sometimes it was a struggle getting him to leave as he enjoyed being there so much and if it weren’t for moving jobs closer to home I would happily continue taking my dog to Jack.”

Chloe was great with my dog, Milo, who can be very nervous. Chloe took time to come and meet Milo first, so that he would get to know her. The communication has been great before and during the day care. I had updates throughout the day, which was very reassuring. Milo had a great time and was happy and relaxed. I highly recommend Chloe.
