About: Hi, I’m Jeff - I’m recently retired and keen to fill my spare time doing something I genuinely love: caring for dogs. Over the years I’ve had plenty of hands-on experience with family pets of all shapes and sizes, from small to medium and large dog breeds. I have looked after family and friends dogs, walking and sitting. I’m comfortable handling different temperaments, energy levels and confident walking dogs on and off lead (always depending on your dogs recall ability and your preferences.) My wife and I are both passionate about all dogs and treat them like family. Our home is located in the west end of Barry and we have a secure rear garden for safe playtime. We are also lucky to live within close walking distance of a country park, other parks and gardens, sea and beaches, the perfect environment for stimulation and enjoyable walks for your precious pets. I drive which allows me be able to take your dogs to other great walking spots. - if you prefer I am also happy to collect your pet. Having recently lost our beloved and special boy Max, I’m looking forward to spending time with dogs again and giving them the care, love, attention and exercise they deserve. I also have experience in administering medication and always happy to follow your dog’s usual routine to help them feel safe, comfortable and settled whilst in our care. I also hold an enhanced DBS certificate as a consequence of working with vulnerable people, and can provide information upon request. When I have free time I enjoy riding my motorbike, DIY projects, walking and keeping active at the gym. I’m happy to arrange a meet and greet appointment before hand to make sure we’re the right fit for you and importantly your dog. Looking forward to meeting you and your furry family member. I’m currently retired so completely flexible day and night to cater for your furry family member’s needs, whether that be for dog sitting (boarding) or walking, or both. Once your “fur baby” is within our care, you can expect the highest quality of care and they will be welcomed into a loving, safe and warm environment. My wife and I have experience of dogs ageing from puppies right up to 14 years of age, having had the privilege of being pet parents to a range of dogs which my children adored. They are now grown up and each have their own fur members of the family. In addition, my wife and I have considerable experience in providing pet medication and have a good understanding and knowledge of various dietary conditions requiring particular dietary needs. Whilst staying at my home, your pet will have access to a secure garden for safe play.

About: I’ve taken care of pets since childhood. I had cats all my life at home and have taken care of friends and families dogs over the last five years. I work full time but am able to work flexibly from home every day apart from Thursdays. Monday and Thursday evenings I have a sports club 1900-2200 so would have to be out during those times. I am really happy to adapt my care to the individual needs of each animal. I love walking and also snuggling up at home. I am happy putting dogs in crates if needed and keeping an eye on them outside where not fully secure.

About: I am dog lovers and the human of a 2-year-old Lurcher. I have experience walking and boarding family and friends' dogs. I am my friends' go-to dog sitters and would love to be yours too! I work from home. I'll be around all day to let the dogs out in the garden for a toilet break, play with them and give them some cuddles and treats. I am a homewoner, and our pup is allowed on the sofa and bed. If your pup likes to cuddle on the sofa/bed, we will be happy to cuddle with them. If you are training them to stay away from the sofa/bed, we will make sure to do the same to help you with the training. We have a fully fenced garden in the back of the house where all dogs are allowed to go potty and play.

About: I’m a massive dog / animal lover. In terms of sitting experience, I have looked after the dogs of friends and family a lot, both in their homes and at mine. I’ve been trusted with dogs of all ages and sizes. Other animal experiences include working with / looking after horses since I was a teen (so well over 5 years of experience with animals.) I work from home, and can pretty much work anywhere so I can bring my laptop to you, as long as you have wifi! I work 8.30-5, but can be very flexible and will be able to spend time away from my laptop to have a play, a cuddle or a walk with your dog. I’m not tied to it all day. If your pet comes to me, I can do the same. I might need to pop out in the evenings for food shopping etc. At the weekends, I can take them out on adventures (walks) around by me or your home. We can also chill and watch TV or do whatever your dog needs to do! I can be very flexible to make sure your dog is happy. I can be very flexible in terms of the care I can offer - I can stay at your home, or your pet can come to me! I have nice public walkways and open spaces near me down in Cardiff Bay, or can go for a drive to other nearby fields. I can even meet up with other friends who also have dogs, and can offer a little socialisation if your dog is OK with other dogs. I do live in a flat, so I don’t have a garden, but I can take your dog out as often as they need! It gives me an excellent excuse to get out of the flat during the day. I live on my own, so it would be nice to have company. Happy to send updates as and when as well so you know your pet is in safe hands and doing well.

“We chose Lily to look after our little 4 month old puppy Poochon Betty for our wedding day and I’m so glad we did. I was feeling a little nervous and Lily completely put me at ease. Lily is warm, kind and loves dogs and Betty took to her immediately. I felt completely confident to leave Betty in the care of Lily and even she kept us updated with photos. She was also kind enough to bring Betty to our wedding for an hour so we could take pictures with her. We will definitely be using Lily again in the future and can’t recommend her highly enough.”

About: I have a huge passion for dogs! All dogs, all breeds, any size, I will love them like my own! And since using this platform, I have also developed a love for cats! I have used Rover for several years with consistent work, so I would very much consider myself a professional pet sitter! I have provided care for a range of pets including energetic puppies, docile seniors, nervous rescues, cuddly fluff balls and everything in between. I have the ability to remain calm and grounded so that your pet feels safe and comfortable in my care. And as a part time nanny, I often provide daily care for the animals in the family too! I have volunteered for a dog rescue centre, socialising the puppies and keeping the anxious dogs calm. I have taught a puppy to sit, lie down and roll over. I have administered daily medication for elderly animals. I have administered flea treatment. I have carefully bathed mucky pups keeping them calm and happy whilst doing so. I have carefully cared for pets with poorly tummies feeding them a simple diet where necessary. As a self employed actor I often have a lot of time on my hands between jobs and during the daytime if I’m in work. I’m also a life coach and run my own business from home, so I have plenty of time during the day to spend looking after your pets and keeping them company. With my line of work it is not always practical to own a pet (much to my sadness!) but by providing for other people’s pets, I get all the joy whilst helping others too… a win win situation. I will always pay special attention to each animal’s individual needs and stick as close as possible to the animal’s usual routine so that it feels happy and comfortable.

I’ve had dogs my entire life and have hands-on experience with breeds ranging from Rottweilers and Dogue de Bordeaux to Labradors and Retrievers. Because of this, I’m comfortable handling large, strong, energetic dogs as well as more relaxed family pets. About: My partner and I have had pets for our whole lives. I have mainly had experience with smaller dogs and cats that crave the attention and love I provide, whereas my partner has experience looking after larger dogs such as staffs, huskies, and german shepherds. We both adore animals and have passion for pets that we rarely get to indulge in. We can't wait to take care of your pet in our home and treat them like our own. We usually wake up around 6am and go to the gym to be back in the house by 8:30. My partner works from home 9-5 whereas I am currently unemployed and have free time all day to look after your pet. If I do for some reason need to leave the house, it will not be for much longer than 2 hours, so your pet will always have someone close by. If morning pick up or drop off is needed, I am very flexible and will move my schedule around to fit your needs. I have an unfenced garden but have anchor points if your pet would like to go in the garden on a lead. I have a little Jack Russel terrier who is calm with any dogs in his presence once he has had a feel for their vibe. We don't have a crate, but we do have the space for one if you would like to bring your own, and we have a bath in which I can bathe your pet and trim or file their nails if you would like (this will cost extra).
