Hi, I’m Jeff - I’m recently retired and keen to fill my spare time doing something I genuinely love: caring for dogs. Over the years I’ve had plenty of hands-on experience with family pets of all shapes and sizes, from small to medium and large dog breeds. I have looked after family and friends dogs, walking and sitting. I’m comfortable handling different temperaments, energy levels and confident walking dogs on and off lead (always depending on your dogs recall ability and your preferences.) My wife and I are both passionate about all dogs and treat them like family. Our home is located in the west end of Barry and we have a secure rear garden for safe playtime. We are also lucky to live within close walking distance of a country park, other parks and gardens, sea and beaches, the perfect environment for stimulation and enjoyable walks for your precious pets. I drive which allows me be able to take your dogs to other great walking spots. - if you prefer I am also happy to collect your pet. Having recently lost our beloved and special boy Max, I’m looking forward to spending time with dogs again and giving them the care, love, attention and exercise they deserve. I also have experience in administering medication and always happy to follow your dog’s usual routine to help them feel safe, comfortable and settled whilst in our care. I also hold an enhanced DBS certificate as a consequence of working with vulnerable people, and can provide information upon request. When I have free time I enjoy riding my motorbike, DIY projects, walking and keeping active at the gym. I’m happy to arrange a meet and greet appointment before hand to make sure we’re the right fit for you and importantly your dog. Looking forward to meeting you and your furry family member.

We couldn’t be happier with the excellent care Jeff provided for our young Golden Retriever, Humphrey. From the moment we met, we felt completely confident leaving him in Jeff’s hands. Jeff was professional, caring, reliable and clearly genuinely loves dogs. He kept us updated, gave Humphrey plenty of walks and made sure he was comfortable and having fun. It was such a relief to know Humphrey was in such safe and capable hands. We would highly recommend Jeff to anyone looking for exceptional care for their dog.
I cannot thank Jeff enough for looking after my little doggy. Their lovely home and warm welcome to us made me feel very at ease leaving my dog with him. Photos received throughout the day so I knew she was in good hands Would very happily use again! And Lola had a great time too
Jeff and his wife were absolutely brilliant with Derek. They kept us updated throughout his stay with lovely little videos and photos of his adventures by the lake, which made such a difference and really put our minds at ease. Derek is our one and only little dog child, so leaving him is never easy, but it was clear he was happy, relaxed and having the best time. They have such a lovely home for dogs to stay in, and you can tell they genuinely care about every dog they look after. We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience and will definitely be booking Derek in with them again. Thank you both for taking such wonderful care of our boy!
Jeffrey was great...he arrived on time and sent me photos throughout the day,which I appreciated. Marshall took to him immediately and they spent lots of time taking walks and cuddling on the couch. Jeffrey followed our requests and we will definitely use him again.
Jeff is a natural with dogs and clearly has a wealth of experience. Clemmie took to him straight away and judging from the photos they've had a fab time together with lots of walking, playing and enrichment - thanks again, we'll definitely be in touch again!
Jeff was great with my 2 dogs, both have some issues with other dogs but Jeff handle them well, Haru and Akira love him, would recommend for dog walking or pet sitting, it's like a home from home for them both.

I’m currently retired so completely flexible day and night to cater for your furry family member’s needs, whether that be for dog sitting (boarding) or walking, or both.

Safety, trust & environment
Once your “fur baby” is within our care, you can expect the highest quality of care and they will be welcomed into a loving, safe and warm environment. My wife and I have experience of dogs ageing from puppies right up to 14 years of age, having had the privilege of being pet parents to a range of dogs which my children adored. They are now grown up and each have their own fur members of the family. In addition, my wife and I have considerable experience in providing pet medication and have a good understanding and knowledge of various dietary conditions requiring particular dietary needs. Whilst staying at my home, your pet will have access to a secure garden for safe play.
