I’ve always had animals in the house, and am a firm believer that a dog makes a house a home! I work full time as an ecologist, meaning my life is surrounded by all animals, from bats to birds to slow worms 🐶🦊🐸🐦⬛🦋 I have grown up with spaniels and my partner and I have recently got a new addition to our family (Winnie🐶) as well as Miso our rescue kitten 🐱 As our fur babies are still so young, we will only accept dogs whose vaccines, flea and worming treatment is up to date - thanks for your understanding! Please note: we own a rescue cat, so dogs must be comfortable being around cats. Thanks🐈🐕 For info: we have a spacious garden but currently no fence on one side, this has not been a problem when sitting dogs in the past but just means we pop them on the lead for toilet breaks for safety😊

Shannon has always had a love of animals.She has cared for dogs all her life. She raised her beloved cocker spaniel Nell, with care,patience and understanding. She can be trusted to care for any dog in the same way. Shannon understands the huge responsibility and commitment it takes to look after someone else’s dog and would be amazing.

Schedule
Myself and my partner work full time but both have flexibility to work from home so your dog will never be left alone. We can easily walk your dog 1-2 times per day, and will give them endless attention!

A typical day
Lots of walks, cuddles (if they like!) and fun playtimes. We enjoy and are used to planning our day around dogs, and this wouldn’t be any different with your baby!

This doesn’t necessarily mean we can’t help, but it is really important for us to know beforehand so we can be aware and prevent any issues☺️ Dogs must be cat friendly🐱 When sitting we usually keep dogs downstairs during the nighttime to give them space/quiet to relax in a new environment. If your dog would struggle with this or if you’d prefer for them to sleep upstairs with us then please let me know. This is no problem and we can accommodate yours and your dogs preferences🐶
