About: I’ve grown up in a Welsh speaking family that has always had dogs and cats, so animals have always been a big part of my life. I’ve regularly looked after dogs for family and friends and absolutely love having their company around the home. Over the years, I’ve had experience looking after dogs of all different ages, personalities and needs. I’ve cared for senior dogs and have experience giving medication, including looking after a dog with severe allergies who needed oral medication. I’ve also looked after an anxious Dachshund who needed a little extra patience and reassurance, especially when out on walks. I really enjoy getting to know a dog’s individual personality and making sure they feel safe, happy and comfortable in my care. Our family Cocker Spaniel has also taught me a lot about caring for dogs with more complex needs. He’s had quite a challenging start to life, including a blood transfusion and hip replacement at just three years old, and he now has arthritis. Because of this, I’m very aware of the importance of keeping him calm, managing his activity and making sure he doesn’t get too excited and accidentally injure himself. He also has some resource-guarding behaviours, partly due to his medication and the fact that his food needs to be carefully managed. This has taught me to be patient, stay calm and understand the reasons behind a dog’s behaviour, while also setting kind but clear boundaries. For me, looking after a dog is about much more than just feeding them and taking them for walks. I want them to feel comfortable, cared for and at home while they’re with me. I understand that every dog is different, and I’m more than happy to give them the patience, attention and extra care they need. Most importantly, I’ll treat every dog as if they were my own. 🐾 As I work from home, I’m around throughout the day to give dogs regular attention, toilet breaks, playtime and companionship. I always follow each dog’s usual routine, feeding instructions and individual needs, and I make sure they are supervised and cared for throughout their stay. I’ll also keep owners updated with photos and messages so they can have peace of mind while they’re away. Live a short walk away from Roath lake and Maindy Velodrome to go for lovely walks. I provide a safe, calm and comfortable home environment where dogs can feel relaxed and part of the family. I have a private garden where they can enjoy some fresh air and outdoor time, as well as plenty of space indoors to settle and rest.

I have looked after friends and family's dogs and cats, who regularly trust me to walk, feed, and look after their pets, whether that’s for daily care, overnight stays, or longer periods in both my home and theirs. I’m reliable, and both my partner and I are trustworthy, and treat every dog as if they were our own, ensuring they feel loved and well cared for while you’re away. I work full time from Mon-Fri and work arranged days at the office and my partner is a freelancer who works from home and can be very flexible with his schedule, according to his calendar and pet sitting arrangements. I have an eclosed fenced garden with no back access, I have a front gate and friendly neighbours. About: I have taken care of pets in the recent years. I have recently started looking after my friend's cat, Churchill, while she was away on holiday. I have also had the experience of being around my partner's dog, Lola, and taking her for walks which was very interesting as she is a very nervous dog and does not do well with other dogs. I usually work 9-5 Monday to Thursday at the office. I usually spend my weekends at home and am very much a home body. I am very flexible and able to accommodate to looking after pets with a drop in visit in the evenings too! I have a quiet home with no others pets, so can focus my time and attention all to your pet! I am happy to do drop in appointments or stay at the home for overnight appointments

I am able to provide a range of services for your pets, be it taking energetic dogs on long, high energy walks with lots of play, or providing enriching home activities - whatever your pet may need! I am willing to aid in training for younger pets, although not a professional, I do have some experience, and am able to work with you to support your pet! I am currently working part time at a local pub, with an incredibly flexible schedule, which allows me to spend plenty of time with your pets! I am currently a student, with plenty of availability to care for your furry friends! You are more than welcome to ask my schedule whilst I am looking after your pets, and I am flexible and willing to meet your needs for the best care possible! I am typically available any day of the week, providing I have no prior commitments, as long as you are able to give me notice, I will be able to move things around to accomodate your schedule! In late September, I will be moving out of the area for University, however I will still have some availability throughout the year when I am back for holidays! I am fit and active, so able to take dogs on long walks if needed! I am fully DBS checked as I have previously worked with vulnerable children. About: I work part-time around finishing my PhD, and so pet care fits naturally around my writing days. I like to have flexibility in my schedule and weekly routine depending on what writing I have due, and I have found that having a fuzzy research assistant to help makes the words flow more smoothly. My home is cat-friendly and our cats are never left without company. As we have two cats at very different life stages with different needs, I am accustomed to measuring out pet food portions and setting alarms for specific dinner times. I am practised at delivering medicine to cats as required, whether that means crushing up pills and mixing it in with regular meals or using a syringe to give liquid antibiotics orally. I clean up any messes efficiently (with an older cat in the household, I know how accidents can happen!) and am happy to supervise any outside time closely.
