Tia was wonderful with our two boys. She was right on time and sent plenty of photos and videos keeping us updated on her visit. They were exhausted when we got home so they clearly had a good proper play with Tia while she was here. Would highly recommend and will be booking again.

Adam has been fantastic since the second we reached out to him. The gremlins absolutely love him. He's always responsive to messages and requests, and there is nothing he wouldn't do for the girls. We are so lucky to have found him. He also takes amazing photos!

Would definitely recommend Trina to look after your pet while you’re away. We received daily photos and updates which was really reassuring while away on our holiday. Trina left our house as we found it and kindly even changed the bin so we didn’t return home to a bin full of empty cat food sachets! 10/10 ? Thank you Trina! We will be in touch in the very near future with some more cat sitting dates for you! ?‍⬛ ?

About: I love all animals, from the tiniest to the hugest! Dogs and cats have been part of my life since I was very small. Growing up with dogs and cats, looking after friends, family & neighbours pets while they were out, working, on holiday or ill. If I am honest, I often prefer to spend my time with furry friends than with human ones. My care and love for any animal is no different than for my own. Unfortunately I lost both of my dogs to old age over the past 2 years and miss them like crazy. My best buds. I am confident with any breed of dog, would respect any of your training rules and follow them for consistency. I have experience with medication administration and senior care. I love walking, so me and your fur baby would have the best times out & about. I would only walk one to one, never group walk, so my attention and care would be for your dog only, and so long as it was ok with your dog, there would be lots of cuddles available!! Although my profile states I have a dog, Dixie does not live with me, she lives with my Son...I am Dixie's Nanny 💖 I am also DBS checked. I currently work from home so have plenty of time for play dates & cuddles with your dog or cat! I love walking on the beach, in woodland areas and parks, so anywhere your dog prefers is fine with me.....we could explore new places together! If at home, we can play in or explore the garden, snuggle on the sofa for a snooze or share a treat or 2 🥰 I have a fenced garden, no pets at home and no children. My profile states I have a dog, but she lives with my Son, I am Dixie's Nanny 😍 I would absolutely following all your house rules. Your furbaby would be as safe as possible with me, I would treat them as I would my own....with love, kindness, patience and respect 🤍

About: As a veterinary student with 3 years of experience working in a veterinary practice, you can feel confident your pet(s) will be in safe and caring hands. I have always loved animals and am passionate about their health and wellbeing. I hold a Level 2 Diploma in Animal Care and Welfare and a Level 2 Diploma in Veterinary Care Assistant, as well as a Higher Education Diploma in Veterinary Science. I worked for 3 years as a Veterinary Care Assistant in a veterinary practice, where I gained hands-on experience caring for and handling a wide range of animals. I have also house sat for colleagues, including caring for dogs and cats that required medication, and I understand the importance of keeping pets comfortable, exercised, and maintaining their usual routines. I always aim to provide reliable, attentive, and compassionate care, and I’m happy to provide updates and photos while you’re away. During holidays, summer periods and weekends, I have very flexible availability and am generally free any time. During term time, I commute to university, so my availability varies depending on my timetable. For house sitting, I am available overnight and will only be away during my scheduled university hours. For dog walking and drop-in visits, I am available in the late afternoons and evenings. Please feel free to message me to discuss specific dates and arrangements. I prioritise the safety, comfort, and wellbeing of every pet in my care. For house sitting, I maintain their usual routine and ensure they are settled and secure in their home. For drop-in visits, I make sure pets are fed, cared for, and given attention while keeping their routine consistent (the 30mins include a short walk within the time frame - please book a walk separately if a longer walk is wanted). With experience in a veterinary practice and as a veterinary student, I am confident handling a wide range of animals and their individual needs. I always treat every home with respect and ensure pets are well cared for at all times.

Jason and Emily were so lovely when we first met them to introduce them to our two cats who they looked after for us whilst we were on holiday. Nothing was too much hassle for them, and we loved receiving the photos and update. We knew our cats were in good hands! We will definitely be using Jason’s services again 😊 thank you very much

About: We always had pets at home (from fish to dogs) and I have always been happy to look after my friends and colleages' little ones :) both at my parents when I was younger, later at mine, or at the pet's own place more recently. I've never had any incident to report. I would love to adopt a dog but I can't have pets where I live, sadly. I love to be outdoors and I miss my big dog's company when I go around. There is a lot to explore aroud here... I can take dogs to the beach, the mountain or even to the safari! Wouldn't be the first time and it was great :) Usully available in the afternoons/evenings but I've got no set routine right now so it will be on a day by day basis, please get in touch and see if I can help :) It will depend on each pet and what they need & like, but will always treat them with love and respect. I can easily accomodate activities, just let me know what they like or dislike and any routines or training you're following, so I will do accordingly.

About: I've loved animals for as long as I can remember and have spent much of my life caring for dogs, cats and other pets belonging to family, friends and neighbours. What sets me apart is the way I approach each animal as an individual. Some dogs want to march up the mountain at full speed, some prefer a slower wander with plenty of sniffing and exploring, and some simply need a calm, reassuring presence. I enjoy getting to know their personalities and adapting my care to what makes them feel safe, happy and understood. I'm reliable, patient and attentive, and I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your pet. Whether it's a walk, a drop-in visit, companionship while you're away, or overnight care, I treat every animal with kindness, respect and genuine affection. I have experience with dogs and of different ages, sizes and temperaments, and I'm comfortable following feeding routines, administering simple medications, using specific leads or equipment, and maintaining any training or house rules you already have in place. My goal is simple, to make sure your pet is well cared for, enjoys their time with me, and comes home (or stays home) happy and content. Pet care is a central part of my week and I structure my schedule to ensure the animals in my care receive the time, attention and consistency they need. I offer dog walking, drop-in visits, companionship visits, pet sitting and overnight stays. I aim to keep my diary manageable so that every pet receives individual attention rather than being rushed from one booking to the next. I am flexible where possible and happy to discuss regular or occasional care depending on your needs. I understand how important routines can be for animals, so I do my best to maintain familiar feeding, walking and rest schedules to help them feel secure and settled. The safety, wellbeing and happiness of every pet is my priority. Before providing care, I take time to understand each animal's personality, routine, preferences, training, health needs and any specific instructions you would like followed. Whether caring for pets in their own home or taking dogs for walks, I aim to create a calm, positive and secure experience. I pay close attention to lead requirements, recall ability, interactions with other dogs, feeding routines, medications and any behavioural considerations. I know that trusting someone with your beloved pet is a big decision, so I always treat animals, homes and personal information with care, respect and professionalism. I am also happy to provide regular updates and photos so you can relax knowing your pet is safe and well cared for.

About: As someone who has grown up in a house hold full of every type of pet, I have always dreamt of being able to utilise this experience and love for animals, and make a job out of it. Being the youngest, I have always been assigned the duty of caring for my siblings animals, whether it be simply feeding and caring for them, or taking them on long walks in sunshine or rain. I provide reliable, loving pet sitting and dog walking tailored to each animal’s individual needs. Services include daily walks, feeding, playtime, companionship, and maintaining routines to help pets feel calm and secure while you’re away. I’ve grown up surrounded by animals and have hands on experience caring for pets of all ages, temperaments, and energy levels, from playful puppies to more senior companions. I currently have flexible availability and can dedicate quality, unhurried time to each pet, ensuring they receive both attentive care and plenty of affection. I treat every pet as if they were my own and pride myself on being dependable, communicative, and genuinely passionate about animal wellbeing. I have a large, gated garden for your dog to run free in and explore as well as a comfortable home that they will be welcomed into for the brief time I care for them.

About: Aside from having lots of different pets from a young age, since returning from Australia 6 months ago I have been working as a self employed pet sitter and dog walker. I have gained experience with many different dog and cat breeds and personalities during this time. I have experience with both energetic and timid pets and can adapt my approach to ensure whatever pet I’m caring for always feels comfortable and safe with me🥰 I have completed over 15 pet care courses and also a dog first aid course. I am currently working hybrid full time but with some flexibility to take pets for walks during my lunch break. I am also available during weekends and evenings for sitting or walking☺️ Have a small front garden with the opportunity for lots of walks and space to play. I always ensure to make pets feel comfortable and safe in my presence by reading their body language and adapting my approach based on their temperament.

Trina has looked after my cat with the same love, care and attention that I give myself. Trina has always been both thorough and professional in all communications and at the in-person pre-visit. My home was left secure between visits and the house immaculate, even with the pet food dishes being washed up and put away. What a star. I can recommend Trina's pet visit services without hesitation. Her care is exemplary and I look forward to Trina caring for my pets again.

FAQs for Drop-In Visits - Bridgend

Frequently asked questions about Rover

The average cost for Cat Sitting in Bridgend on Rover is £11.5 per Visit (as of July 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of Cat Sitting easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for Cat Sitting. For more information on service fees, click here .

There are 437 sitters on Rover for Cat Sitting in Bridgend. About 93% of Bridgend sitters can respond to requests in under 60 minutes. Whether you are planning ahead for public holidays, need last-minute care, or need same-day cover for an urgent trip, you can message multiple sitters at once to find available care.

Once you find the right match, you can arrange a Meet & Greet to ensure they are a perfect fit for your pet’s personality before confirming.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter trays. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialisation or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poo breaks occured. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available for dedicated customer support by email or chat if you have concerns.

The personalised, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a key safe. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalised codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

If you live in a flat, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or lift etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

Every sitter on Rover must pass an identity verification before they can list their services. An identity verification confirms that the sitter is who they say they are based on their documents.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes dedicated customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement programme for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
