“First overnight stay with Amy. We got lots of pictures and updates. He seemed totally relaxed. He loved chilling with Skye and he even had zoomies and ate some kibble which he NEVER does when staying in kennels! Never going back to Royvon/ for indoors again! Woohooooo!”

“We are very happy with Tamara. She asked us to visit beforehand so Sioned and she could meet, this reassured us. Sioned liked her immediately. We dropped Sioned off and left promptly. The daily photos and videos reassured us that Sioned was happy. We would definitely use Tamara again.”

“I can’t thank Kate and Cal enough for looking after our Whippet Ed. It was clear as soon as we picked him up how well he had been looked after. I fact I’m pretty sure he wanted to stay. Their communication whilst we were away was amazing and daily photos showed how much he was enjoying. I would 100% recommend Kate and Cal to anyone and will be booking with them again.”

“Shelbie was great, I had a mix up with the dates to start off, she was still able to help us at last minute to enable us to have a great weekend away. She kept us informed about Messi all throughout so we were able to relax knowing he was okay. Will definitely be using her again in future. Great service xxx Thank you”

“Our initial request for overnight boarding with Lauren was responded to within a very short time and booking agreed. Lauren invited us to take Eevie to meet her and to familiarise herself with where she would be staying and also an opportunity to discuss Eevie's routines. Communication was excellent throughout her stay with many photo's of Eevie and what she was getting up to throughout the day. Unfortunately, Eevie was sick while in Lauren's care and she contacted me immediately to let me know the situation and took her to the vet on our behalf (as we were over 140 miles away. I WOULD NOT HESITATE TO RECOMMEND LAUREN and would definitely look to re-book her to look after our little one again We did collect our dog early, but this was our decision. Lauren did offer to refund part of the overnight stay fee as we collected her late in the evening, but we felt that Lauren had definitely gone over and above and had certainly earned the full fee with her caring for dog.”

“Jason was excellent throughout Maples stay regular updates which was super helpful and kind. Maple had a blast and played so well with rolo which was great to see. I could not have asked for a nicer professional kind person to look after my maple highly recommended thanks so much :3”

“AMAZING dog sitter!! - we left our dog Teddy with Mary a few weeks ago, and I must say I was quite nervous, he’s very hyper and boisterous and I was worried he wouldn’t settle, however Mary kept me updated every single day sending photos, telling me about his mealtimes and even updated me every thirty minutes to an hour after he had gotten sick, she explained how good he had been and genuinely put my mind at ease, couldn’t reccomend her more. Thank you so much Mary will definitely be booking again!!”

“Theodora took wonderful care of our spaniel, Monty, for a few of days, and we couldn't have asked for a better sitter. She was friendly, responsive, and kept us updated throughout his stay with regular messages and lovely photos, which gave us real peace of mind! It was clear that Monty was in great hands! Theodora took him on walks and went above and beyond to make sure he was comfortable, happy, and well settled! We wouldn't hesitate to book with Theodora again and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, reliable, and attentive dog sitter. Thank you for taking such great care of Monty!”

We would definitely recommend Deb, as our dog came home happy.”

“Trina was looking after our 2 cats for a week during our holiday. She was sending regular updates after each visit including lots of lovely photos of our little rascals, it was lovely to see what they were up to. Everything was left very clean when we arrived especially after one of my cats decided to catch a bird and leave it in the kitchen. Both cats looked very happy and relaxed when we returned. We highly recommend Trina to anyone needing a pet sitter. Your furry companions will be in the best hands. We will definitely use Trina again in the future.”

“Adam took excellent care of Lilly while we were away. He provided daily updates, which were very reassuring and gave us great peace of mind that she was doing well. About: I love all animals, whatever their size, whatever their breed....I love them all!! I have had cats in my life since very small. I've grown up with them and know how particular, aloof, funny, mischievous, and straight 'talking' they can be! Cats know what they want 😅 I love that about them! I have extensive experience looking after cats from playing, cuddling, feeding, changing litter and cleaning their tray to actually walking them out on a leash. I have cared for kittens to seniors, have experience of giving medication (tricky but true), and understand how shy cats can be and the space they often need, especially around new people. I would treat your fur baby with kindness, patience and respect, just as it should be! 💖 I am also DBS checked. About: Growing up in my house meant always living with a cat, sometimes multiple at a time. This has meant that I have become familiar with the complicated ways of a cat and come to understand them, unlike most people who claim to not be cat people. I understand their boundaries and enjoy their company whenever they want mine. I am open to indoor or outdoor cats, meaning I am able to deal with litter trays if needed.

About: As a veterinary student with 3 years of experience working in a veterinary practice, you can feel confident your cat(s) will be in safe and caring hands. I have always loved animals and am passionate about their health and wellbeing. I hold a Level 2 Diploma in Animal Care and Welfare and a Level 2 Diploma in Veterinary Care Assistant, as well as a Higher Education Diploma in Veterinary Science. I worked for 3 years as a Veterinary Care Assistant in a veterinary practice, where I gained hands-on experience caring for a wide range of animals. I have also house sat for colleagues, including caring for cats that required medication, and I understand the importance of keeping pets comfortable and maintaining their usual routines in their home environment. I always aim to provide calm, reliable, and compassionate care, and I’m happy to provide updates and photos while you’re away.
“Jason was looking after our 2 cars for a week during our holiday. He was regularly in touch with updates and photos. I have asked if he could kindly water veg in my greenhouse twice but he happily watered the entire garden including all plants/flowers/ all other vegetables ( it’s a big garden so it doesn’t take 5 mins) several times without asking for any additional money. He was very affectionate and caring with the cats, treating them as if they were his own. He had to deal with a dead mouse my cat decided to catch and even took care of an injured pigeon she caught one day and took it to the vet. This shows how compassionate he is with ALL animals. We will always choose Jason to care for our cats in the future. We cannot recommend him highly enough.”

“Just wow 🤩 Yamsin was incredible with our fur baby Raya 💕 we left for a week in Italy and we had daily updates on Raya’s day. She was super easy to get hold of and looked after her with such care. Would 100% recommend Yasmin to any rover users. She’s a super star x”

“I couldn’t have asked for a better person to look after my cats while I was away. Chloe was absolutely wonderful — caring, reliable, and attentive to every little detail. She took the time to make sure my cats were not just fed and safe but also happy and loved. I really appreciated the regular updates and photos, which gave me peace of mind!”

About: Had cats in the family when growing up, including one abandoned by neighbours. More recently adopted a very nervous stray after winning his trust. Gave him a home in his final years. Good at providing cat back massages, especially at 2am. A pro at cleaning & filling litter trays.
About: We always had pets at home (from fish to dogs) and I have always been happy to look after my friends and colleages' little ones :) both at my parents when I was younger, later at mine, or at the pet's own place more recently. I've never had any incident to report. I would love to adopt a dog but I can't have pets where I live, sadly. I love to be outdoors and I miss my big dog's company when I go around. There is a lot to explore aroud here... I can take dogs to the beach, the mountain or even to the safari! Wouldn't be the first time and it was great :) Usully available in the afternoons/evenings but I've got no set routine right now so it will be on a day by day basis, please get in touch and see if I can help :) It will depend on each pet and what they need & like, but will always treat them with love and respect. I can easily accomodate activities, just let me know what they like or dislike and any routines or training you're following, so I will do accordingly.

About: I've loved and cared for cats for many years and have experience looking after cats with a wide range of personalities, from confident and sociable cats who want plenty of fuss and playtime to shy or independent cats who prefer a quieter approach. I understand that every cat is different and that trust is earned in their own time. I take care to follow their routines, respect their boundaries, and make sure they feel safe and comfortable while you're away. Whether it's feeding, refreshing water, cleaning litter trays, administering simple medications, play sessions, cuddles on the sofa, or simply providing a calm and reassuring presence, I adapt my care to each cat's individual needs. I'm reliable, patient and attentive, and I know how important it is to have peace of mind when someone else is caring for your beloved pet. My aim is always to ensure your cat is happy, relaxed and well cared for until you return home.

“I booked Amber to house sit my beloved Bengal cat and she was happy to undertake a meet and greet beforehand which went well. I then had to book Amber prior to the original booking due to a family emergency which she was willing to help me with. Amber is reliable, considerate and respectful to my home during her time there, follows care instructions well and most of all is caring, gentle and calming towards my pet. Amber is very knowledgeable about animals which further reassured me and I would not hesitate to book her again. I would also recommend her services to others.”

“Jason was absolutely fantastic. He was so kind and went above and beyond to help. My rescue Hardy loved him - waggy tail and no backward glance. You can tell Jason genuinely loves dogs and they love him. Thank you so much, to you and your partner, for all your help and care.”

About: I love all animals, from the tiniest to the hugest! Dogs and cats have been part of my life since I was very small. Growing up with dogs and cats, looking after friends, family & neighbours pets while they were out, working, on holiday or ill. If I am honest, I often prefer to spend my time with furry friends than with human ones. My care and love for any animal is no different than for my own. Unfortunately I lost both of my dogs to old age over the past 2 years and miss them like crazy. My best buds. I am confident with any breed of dog, would respect any of your training rules and follow them for consistency. I have experience with medication administration and senior care. I love walking, so me and your fur baby would have the best times out & about. I would only walk one to one, never group walk, so my attention and care would be for your dog only, and so long as it was ok with your dog, there would be lots of cuddles available!! Although my profile states I have a dog, Dixie does not live with me, she lives with my Son...I am Dixie's Nanny 💖 I am also DBS checked. Use this link below (copy & paste) for £15 off a new booking for new Rover users 🤩 https://www.rover.com/sit/gillm16415 I currently work from home so have plenty of time for play dates & cuddles with your dog or cat! I love walking on the beach, in woodland areas and parks, so anywhere your dog prefers is fine with me.....we could explore new places together! If at home, we can play in or explore the garden, snuggle on the sofa for a snooze or share a treat or 2 🥰 I have a fenced garden, no pets at home and no children. My profile states I have a dog, but she lives with my Son, I am Dixie's Nanny 😍 I would absolutely following all your house rules. Your furbaby would be as safe as possible with me, I would treat them as I would my own....with love, kindness, patience and respect 🤍

About: I’ve grown up with pets for as long as I can remember, so caring for animals has always been a natural part of my life. I genuinely love spending time with dogs and making sure they feel happy, safe, and comfortable while they’re away from home. I live in a peaceful rural area with plenty of space for dogs to explore, play, or simply relax and enjoy the quiet surroundings. Over the years, I’ve looked after dogs for friends and family, from regular walks to longer stays, and I always treat them with the same care and attention I would give my own pets. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your dog, and I aim to provide a calm, loving environment where they feel settled, cared for, and part of the family. I am currently self-employed and work from home, so I’ll have plenty of time to walk, care for, and give attention to your dogs throughout the day. I have plenty of space here for them to roam around, play, and feel comfortable in a safe environment. I have a large enclosed garden to keep your dogs safe and secure while they play and explore. I currently don’t have any other dogs at home, which makes it a calm and peaceful environment, especially well suited for quieter or more timid dogs.

“Sian was absolutely lovely and stepped in last minute when another sitter cancelled my daycare booking. Toby was right at home and very comfortable when we had our meet and greet, lovely secure garden and lovely home. Sian was very understanding when our day trip was unfortunately cancelled but I will definitely be booking again in the future.”

About: Nijo & Jenny Animals have always been a big part of my life. I grew up in a home with multiple dogs and cats and have cared for pets for many years. Over time, I have looked after and cared for dogs ranging from small breeds to large breeds, each with their own unique personalities, needs and routines. As a Merchant Navy Officer, I have 2 mo tha rotation, where I am onboard for 2-3 and at home on leave for 2-3 months. During my leave periods, I am home full-time for up to two months at a stretch, allowing me to provide plenty of companionship, exercise and supervision. My wife and I are both passionate animal lovers and regularly help friends with their dogs. Due to my work pattern we are unable to get a dog ourselves currently but we try to compensate that by lending a hand to our friends with pets. We understand that every pet is different, and we strive to provide a safe, loving and stress-free home away from home where pets are treated as part of the family. We ourselves use rover when we go for vacations and understand the situation, we strive to create a second home for your furry friends and would be part of our family. When I am on leave from work, I am available at home full-time and can dedicate my attention to your pet throughout the day. This allows me to maintain their usual routine, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, rest periods and plenty of companionship. I enjoy spending time outdoors and regularly visit local walking areas such as Brynna Woods and Smilog Woods. Depending on your dog's preferences and energy levels, I can also provide longer walks, park visits and beach outings. I only accept one household's dog at a time, ensuring your pet receives individual attention and a calm environment. Your pet's safety and wellbeing are my highest priorities. My wife and I live in a spacious home with a secure fenced back garden, providing a safe environment for dogs to relax, play and explore. We also share our home with our friendly domestic shorthair cat, Simba, who is comfortable around dogs that respect her space. Before every booking, I take time to understand your pet's routine, preferences, dietary requirements and any special instructions. My wife is a medical doctor and is happy to assist with routine medications if required, providing additional reassurance for owners whose pets may need ongoing treatment during their stay. I only accept one household's dog at a time, ensuring your pet receives individual attention, plenty of supervision and a calm environment. I will also provide regular photo and video updates so you can enjoy your time away knowing your pet is happy, comfortable and well cared for.

“She has been absolutely wonderful with Adis. She has been able to accommodate us very early in the morning, has always been punctual, and is extremely thorough in the care she provides. I really appreciate the detailed notes she takes about Adis’s wees, sleep times, and general wellbeing, as well as the regular updates she sends. Most importantly, I can tell she genuinely loves animals, which is incredibly reassuring. Adis is almost 19 years old and blind, so he needs gentle, attentive care, and she has looked after him so well. I feel very comfortable knowing he is in such kind and capable hands. Highly recommended.”

About: Hiya and happy to meet you, I am an animal lover, probably from birth! I have cared for a variety of animals since I was a very young child, from 4 legged furries to wings and scales! from taking in injured wildlife to multiple pets, my home growing up was a little rescue center. I grew up with multiple dogs at home, furries from rabbits to hamsters, birds, lizards and snakes. My passion for animals blossomed as I got older and for a longtime I worked in a zoo before specialising in parrot care and eventually becoming interested in wildlife ecology. Throughout the years I have always lent a hand looking after family and friends beloved fur balls from dog to cats and everything in between. With my house currently empty of pet life I would love the opportunity to give my love and care to another’s pet while their owner is away and look forward to long dog walks (I am very outdoorsy) or cuddles on the sofa and belly rubs. Looking forward to hearing from you 💜🐇🐶🐱 I currently work part-time (night shift) working two nights a week so home all day every day and have plenty of time to spend with your fur babies! I love being outdoors and taking long walks so would love the company of a pup. It’s a family environment in my house with me and my 3 year old son at home, we enjoy trips to the beach and checking out local nature reserves and country parks. Available for dog walking and home checkin’s anytime before 5pm on days I am working and anytime on days off (contact me for information on what days you need and I can coordinate with my work rota), available for boarding anytime during the week and weekends. Fur- babies are welcome in my home like a member of the family, I allow dogs/cats on furniture and bed (ofcourse unless otherwise requested by the owner), I have a medium- sized fenced garden and can provide a crate if needed. Litter trays provided for cats and dogs free to roam the garden whenever they please, dog walks several times a day. If caring for animals in a pet owners home I am always respectful of their wishes, home and routines.

About: My home offers a calm, quiet sanctuary where dogs can relax and feel at ease right away. Without the excitement and noise of children around, pets can settle into their routine more easily and enjoy a stress-free environment. With 12 years of hands-on experience caring for horses, dogs, and cats, I know what it takes to keep your beloved pets happy and healthy. As a fellow pet parent, I completely understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your furry family members. Working from home gives me the flexibility to be available for your dog around the clock. My typical daily routine includes: • Early morning walk (before starting work) • Midday adventure (lunch break walk) • Evening stroll (end of workday) Together, these walks typically cover about 2 miles, but I’m happy to adjust the distance and intensity based on your dog’s breed, age, and fitness level. Some pups need more exercise to burn off energy, while others prefer shorter, gentler walks. Your dog will enjoy access to my fully secure garden where they can play, explore, and relax safely off-leash. Inside, they’ll be treated as part of the family with all the comforts of home. Sleeping arrangements are completely up to you: • Cozy up on the sofa for movie nights • Snuggle in bed for ultimate comfort • Sleep peacefully in their own crate if that’s their preference I believe every dog deserves to feel at home, so I’ll follow whatever routine makes your pup feel most secure and happy.

About: With over 20 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs and cats, especially dogs. I offer calm, confident, and genuinely loving care tailored to each dogs needs. I’ve always owned working dogs, including spaniels and border collies, so I understand the importance of both physical exercise and mental stimulation. From high-energy adventurers to laid-back companions, I’m experienced in reading behaviour, maintaining routines, and providing structure alongside affection. Throughout my life I’ve cared for a wide range of animals, but dogs have always been my true passion. Your dog’s safety, happiness, and wellbeing are always my top priority, whether that’s on a walk, a drop-in visit, or extended care. You can expect reliable communication, respect for your home, and care that treats your dog like one of my own. On occasion, I can welcome one dog into our home based on timings and temperament with our two male working cocker spaniels. They are both extremely friendly and love to play with friends and are mixed with dogs regularly. Please note they are both fully intact, so females which are in season would not be able to stay with us. I work a hybrid schedule, with three days working from home and two days in the office, which allows me to offer flexible and attentive pet care. On home-working days, I’m available for regular walks, check-ins, and companionship throughout the day. On office days, I provide morning and evening care as needed. I’m also fully available on weekends, allowing plenty of time for walks, sitting, and drop-in visits. I care for pets in their own home by following their usual routine, rules, and preferences as closely as possible. This includes feeding, walks, playtime, enrichment, and any specific instructions you provide. I make sure your pet feels comfortable, safe, and relaxed in their familiar environment, while giving them plenty of attention and affection. I’m respectful of your home, keep things tidy, and provide regular updates and photos so you can relax knowing your pet is well cared for. I am also CPR and First Aid trained

About: As a veterinary student with 3 years of experience working in a veterinary practice, you can feel confident your pet(s) will be in safe and caring hands. I have always loved animals and am passionate about their health and wellbeing. I hold a Level 2 Diploma in Animal Care and Welfare and a Level 2 Diploma in Veterinary Care Assistant, as well as a Higher Education Diploma in Veterinary Science. I worked for 3 years as a Veterinary Care Assistant in a veterinary practice, where I gained hands-on experience caring for and handling a wide range of animals. I have also house sat for colleagues, including caring for dogs and cats that required medication, and I understand the importance of keeping pets comfortable, exercised, and maintaining their usual routines. I always aim to provide reliable, attentive, and compassionate care, and I’m happy to provide updates and photos while you’re away. During holidays, summer periods and weekends, I have very flexible availability and am generally free any time. During term time, I commute to university, so my availability varies depending on my timetable. For house sitting, I am available overnight and will only be away during my scheduled university hours. For dog walking and drop-in visits, I am available in the late afternoons and evenings. Please feel free to message me to discuss specific dates and arrangements. I prioritise the safety, comfort, and wellbeing of every pet in my care. For house sitting, I maintain their usual routine and ensure they are settled and secure in their home. For drop-in visits, I make sure pets are fed, cared for, and given attention while keeping their routine consistent (the 30mins include a short walk within the time frame - please book a walk separately if a longer walk is wanted). With experience in a veterinary practice and as a veterinary student, I am confident handling a wide range of animals and their individual needs. I always treat every home with respect and ensure pets are well cared for at all times.

About: I've loved animals for as long as I can remember and have spent much of my life caring for dogs, cats and other pets belonging to family, friends and neighbours. What sets me apart is the way I approach each animal as an individual. Some dogs want to march up the mountain at full speed, some prefer a slower wander with plenty of sniffing and exploring, and some simply need a calm, reassuring presence. I enjoy getting to know their personalities and adapting my care to what makes them feel safe, happy and understood. I'm reliable, patient and attentive, and I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your pet. Whether it's a walk, a drop-in visit, companionship while you're away, or overnight care, I treat every animal with kindness, respect and genuine affection. I have experience with dogs and of different ages, sizes and temperaments, and I'm comfortable following feeding routines, administering simple medications, using specific leads or equipment, and maintaining any training or house rules you already have in place. My goal is simple, to make sure your pet is well cared for, enjoys their time with me, and comes home (or stays home) happy and content. Pet care is a central part of my week and I structure my schedule to ensure the animals in my care receive the time, attention and consistency they need. I offer dog walking, drop-in visits, companionship visits, pet sitting and overnight stays. I aim to keep my diary manageable so that every pet receives individual attention rather than being rushed from one booking to the next. I am flexible where possible and happy to discuss regular or occasional care depending on your needs. I understand how important routines can be for animals, so I do my best to maintain familiar feeding, walking and rest schedules to help them feel secure and settled. The safety, wellbeing and happiness of every pet is my priority. Before providing care, I take time to understand each animal's personality, routine, preferences, training, health needs and any specific instructions you would like followed. Whether caring for pets in their own home or taking dogs for walks, I aim to create a calm, positive and secure experience. I pay close attention to lead requirements, recall ability, interactions with other dogs, feeding routines, medications and any behavioural considerations. I know that trusting someone with your beloved pet is a big decision, so I always treat animals, homes and personal information with care, respect and professionalism. I am also happy to provide regular updates and photos so you can relax knowing your pet is safe and well cared for.
“Amber was punctual and great with my bouncy retriever, Dorothy. Being able to have peace of mind that she's getting a decent walk when I'm out a lot of the day is great. It's nice to return to a happy dog and an informative report card. Will definitely use Amber again.”

About: I’m a first-year zoology student, at Swansea University! My love for all animals runs deep. Whether big or small, creepy or cute, I believe all animals deserve love and care (which is where I come in). I absolutely adore animals. I’ve had hamsters, rabbits, guinea pigs, a ferret and rats. I currently have three rats and a cat — soon a golden retriever too! Despite never having a dog of my own, I have previously helped friends and family look after their dogs. I’m currently building my dog training skills through my friend’s dogs, as it’s something I think is very overlooked and often hard! I would love to get to know your dog personally and help with training. I’m currently a uni-student, so weekdays during term time would be difficult for me, unless in the Swansea area. I’m available friday, saturday and sunday in any area from Swansea to Cardiff! I will familiarise myself with your home and follow every instruction perfectly! Whether you’d like me to follow a specific routine or go with the flow of your pet, I’m flexible! I will also happily provide frequent updates!

About: I have had dogs my whole life since I was a child. I now have a 2 year old cockapoo called Max who since day one has been very active, energetic and playful! I have had him since he was a puppy so I am very used to providing plenty of attention, love and care. He absolutely loves other dogs. I understand dogs are all different and I can adapt to different needs and breeds. I have previously dog sat in people's homes overnight. I love dog walking and I am a very social person who loves to see dogs happy and content outdoors. I am comfortable to allow off lead and on lead depending on your preference. I am not currently in work so I have plenty of flexible daytime hours to dedicate to caring for your pet, Monday to Friday. Walks and drop in between 9am and 2pm. Evenings are also fine after 5.30pm. Weekends are available if planned more in advance. There is access to the safe fenced garden whenever required and we live next to the very popular Newbridge Fields. “First overnight stay with Amy. We got lots of pictures and updates. He seemed totally relaxed. He loved chilling with Skye and he even had zoomies and ate some kibble which he NEVER does when staying in kennels! Never going back to Royvon/ for indoors again! Woohooooo!”

Theodora took him on walks and went above and beyond to make sure he was comfortable, happy, and well settled!
“Really happy with how well Laura looked after Watson and Indi - as if they were her own! Got regular updates, and a last minute complication with Indi requiring medication an a cone of shame didn’t phase her in the slightest. Would definitely highly recommend ❤️ thank you Laura!”
