Kyla looked after our three dogs and two cats for us while we were away. Instantly our dogs fell in love with her when she came for a pre meet up ( which is always a good sign). Kyla was fantastic, everything we asked she did and even did extra like washing the dog bowls after the dogs had eaten ( we hadn’t asked this Kyla had the sense to do this) We will 100% be booking Kyla again. She is trustworthy, fantastic with the animals and all around a nice person. Communication was also Amazing pictures everyday and messages. Thank you for looking after our animals so well.

Our cat needs medication daily, she's not a fan of strangers, can be flighty and doesn't always play ball! Sarah did her best to understand her and work around her needs and quirks! She communicated really well with us which was greatly appreciated as I'm a massive worrier. Would book Sarah again. Thank you very much 🙂

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and caring for them comes naturally to me. I'm a caring, patient person who genuinely enjoys spending time with pets, whether that's playing with them, giving them attention, or helping them stick to their usual routine. I work part time in a local school, which gives me plenty of flexibility for walks, drop-in visits, playtime, and overnight stays. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet, and I aim to provide the utmost level of care and affection. I'll also keep you updated with messages and photos, so you'll always know your pet is happy and having a great time. Throughout the day, I make time for play, cuddles, training, and keeping pets engaged and happy. I currently work part-time in a local school so have plenty of time to give your pet the attention they deserve and ensure they feel relaxed, loved, and well looked after. A typical day with me includes plenty of attention, exercise, and companionship. I love being outdoors and am a confident walker, so your dog can enjoy long, enriching walks and lots of opportunities to explore. If we come back muddy after an adventure, there's no need to worry - I’ll make sure your dog gets cleaned up before settling back in. I also have a small enclosed garden to keep your dog safe if they are staying with me and I'll make sure to keep you updated with messages and photos.

For the past 6 years, we’ve had a dog of our own and understand the love, care, attention, and routine that dogs need to be happy and comfortable. Over the years, we’ve also regularly cared for dogs belonging to family and friends while they were away, giving us experience with different breeds, personalities, and needs. We’ve always enjoyed looking after dogs and have been encouraged by friends and family to share our experience with others through Rover. We’re now excited to take the leap and offer a safe, caring, and loving environment for your dog. Whether it’s walks, drop-in visits, or overnight stays, we’ll treat your dog as if they were our own, ensuring they receive plenty of attention, exercise, and affection while you’re away. About: I’ve been caring for animals for several years through looking after my own pets, and it’s something I genuinely enjoy. I’ve cared for my German Shepherd, Simba, for the past 3 years, as well as my three cats, Luna, Pumpkin and Stripy. Having both a dog and multiple cats has given me experience with very different personalities, routines and needs. With Simba, I’ve been responsible for his day-to-day care, including making sure he was fed on time, had plenty of exercise and stayed active and happy. I’ve bathed and groomed him, taken him to the vet whenever he needed medical attention, and given him medication on time when required. I’ve also learned to pay attention to changes in his behaviour, energy levels and general wellbeing so I can recognise when something isn’t quite right. Looking after my cats has been just as rewarding. I make sure Luna, Pumpkin and Stripy are fed according to their routine, have a clean and comfortable environment, and get plenty of attention and playtime. Because cats can each have such different personalities, I’ve learned to give them space when they need it while also knowing when they want affection, stimulation or company. For me, looking after pets isn’t just about feeding them and making sure they’re safe. I really enjoy keeping them entertained, giving them lots of love and attention, playing with them and making sure they feel comfortable and settled. I understand that pets can miss their owners when they’re away, so I would want every pet I look after to feel cared for, relaxed and happy. I’m now looking to continue doing something I genuinely love by becoming a part-time pet sitter in Swansea. I’d be happy to follow each pet’s normal routine, including their feeding, walks, playtime, medication where required and anything else their owner asks me to keep consistent. I’d treat every pet as an individual and give them the same patience, care and affection that I give my own🐈🐶💕 I'm available any day/time. I prefer working on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and both the weekends. I am free to adjust and be flexible according to your flexibility! I can bathe your pet(s) if needed, take them out on walks, feed and water them on time and keep them company whilst prioritising their safety.

Rosa did a drop in for our six month old labrador puppy. She facilitated a meet and greet beforehand which was great and gave us a lot of confidence that she would take good care of our pup. On the day, she provided us with updates and followed our instructions perfectly. We would recommend Rosa.

About: I’m a recently qualified veterinarian with a Level 3 Extended Diploma in Animal Management, where I studied key areas such as animal nutrition, training, and behaviour. I have extensive experience caring for a wide range of domestic animals, both personally and professionally. My own pets have included fish, budgies, cats, dogs, and I currently share my home with a corn snake and a cat. I’m confident handling all types of dogs and cats from energetic puppies to senior companions and have experience with large breeds such as Akitas as well as smaller breeds through family and friends. In addition to dogs and cats, I’m comfortable caring for small furries (rabbits, rodents) and reptiles. My background and training ensure that every animal I look after receives attentive, compassionate, and knowledgeable care. As I’m currently between jobs, I have lots of time and attention to devote to your furry friends, ensuring they get all the care and companionship they deserve while you’re away. When caring for pets in their own home, my top priorities are safety, comfort, and routine. I always take the time to learn each pet’s individual needs, daily schedule, and any special instructions you have to ensure continuity of care. I treat every home and pet with the same respect and care as I would my own- keeping things tidy, following your guidelines closely, and ensuring your pets feel loved and well looked after in familiar surroundings.

There are 443 sitters on Rover for Cat Sitting in Neath Port Talbot. About 92% of Neath Port Talbot sitters can respond to requests in under 60 minutes. Whether you are planning ahead for public holidays, need last-minute care, or need same-day cover for an urgent trip, you can message multiple sitters at once to find available care.

Once you find the right match, you can arrange a Meet & Greet to ensure they are a perfect fit for your pet’s personality before confirming.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter trays. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialisation or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poo breaks occured. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available for dedicated customer support by email or chat if you have concerns.

The personalised, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a key safe. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalised codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

If you live in a flat, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or lift etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

Every sitter on Rover must pass an identity verification before they can list their services. An identity verification confirms that the sitter is who they say they are based on their documents.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes dedicated customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement programme for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
