We’ve grown up with dogs and have years of hands-on experience caring for pets of different breeds, sizes and personalities. Whether your pet loves long walks, quiet companionship or plenty of playtime, we’ll make sure they receive the care and attention they deserve. We offer: 🐾 Dog Boarding in our loving home 🚶 Dog Walking tailored to your dog’s needs 🏡 Drop-In Visits for dogs and cats, including feeding, playtime, toilet breaks and lots of fuss Every pet is treated like part of our family. We’ll keep you updated with photos and messages so you can relax knowing your pet is happy, safe and well cared for. We’re reliable, friendly and committed to providing a service we’d want for our own pets. We’d love to arrange a meet and greet and answer any questions before your booking. We look forward to meeting you and your furry family members! We’ve been around dogs for as long as we can remember, having grown up with dogs in our families from a young age. For the past 6 years, we’ve had a dog of our own and understand the love, care, attention, and routine that dogs need to be happy and comfortable. Over the years, we’ve also regularly cared for dogs belonging to family and friends while they were away, giving us experience with different breeds, personalities, and needs. We’ve always enjoyed looking after dogs and have been encouraged by friends and family to share our experience with others through Rover. We’re now excited to take the leap and offer a safe, caring, and loving environment for your dog. Whether it’s walks, drop-in visits, or overnight stays, we’ll treat your dog as if they were our own, ensuring they receive plenty of attention, exercise, and affection while you’re away. We understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet, and we’ll do everything we can to make both you and your dog feel comfortable and reassured. Safety, Trust & Environment Your dog’s safety and comfort are our top priorities. We live in a spacious four-bedroom home with plenty of room for dogs to relax, play, and feel at home. Our property benefits from a gated driveway at the front and a fully fenced and secure garden at the rear, providing a safe outdoor space for supervised play and exercise. We maintain a clean, dog-friendly environment and always ensure dogs are secure and well cared for during their stay. We understand that every dog is different, so we’ll take the time to learn about their routine, preferences, and any specific needs to help them feel comfortable and settled while they’re with us.
“Susana cared for my pooch as if he was a little prince. Lots of photos and a video to show me how Woody was getting on and he always looked happy and relaxed. When he was off his food and I mentioned Woody liked chicken, it was no trouble for Susana to cook some for him. I had no worries at all, he was in the best care. Will definitely be having Susana to look after Woody again. Xx”

“Rhiannon was amazing, we booked for a weekend stay for our 15 year old dog and he absolutely loved it. I received constant updated with photos. “This was my first time using Rover, so I was a little nervous about leaving my dog Winnie, but Juliette was absolutely amazing. She was so kind, caring, and reassuring from the start, which really put my mind at ease. She kept me updated throughout her time with Winnie and sent regular pupdates, which I really appreciated. It was clear Winnie was happy and well looked after. I would highly recommend Juliette in a heartbeat and wouldn’t hesitate to book her again. Thank you so much, Juliette! 🐾”

We wouldn’t hesitate to use them again and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy and loving dog boarder. Thank you so much for taking such amazing care of Leia!😊”

About: Hi! I’ve been surrounded by animals my whole life—dogs, cats, guinea pigs, and more—and caring for them has always been a passion of mine. I’m dedicated to creating a calm, friendly environment tailored to each dog’s unique needs, whether that means following specific dietary requirements, giving extra cuddles, or just providing a steady routine. I treat every dog as if they were my own, and my goal is to make both pups and their owners feel completely comfortable and at ease. 🐶🐾 I currently work part time and have a very flexible schedule, therefore I am able to care for your pup on both weekdays and weekends 🦴🐕 I prioritize safety by following care instructions, using secure equipment, and pet-proofing environments. Trust is built through reliable service, regular updates, and respectful treatment of pets and homes. I maintain a clean, calm, and enriching environment tailored to each pet’s needs. Whether walking, pet sitting, or providing overnight care, I ensure pets feel secure, loved, and comfortable in their familiar or temporary surroundings.

“Laura was great and kept me fully informed of how tui was getting on . Lots if photos and updates on her walks etc . She had s great time and I’ll definitely book again . I think she enjoyed her break as much as we did !”

About: I started my journey on rover while I was in university in 2022, and having furry companions made my uni experience so much better. I now work from home in Abercrave, but still have plenty of time to care for new pups! I’m based in Abercrave and work full time from home, so am very flexible and would love to look after your four legged friends! I love nature and walking, so your dogs will always get plenty of exercise with me if they need it. I’ve had experience with dogs of all shapes and sizes, and love every one of them! I’m well equipped to deal with bigger, more high maintenance dogs due managing my own reactive GSD. Sadly, we lost my dog Oatie very recently to cancer. I used to love to explore with him, so know plenty of local spots. He was a very challenging dog, who could be reactive at times, leaving me with plenty of experience with dogs that can be tricky to handle, especially around strangers or other dogs. If you choose boarding, we have a lovely big & secure garden, with ample space for your dog(s) to explore. They will usually sleep in my room with me, but this is of course circumstantial on your pets needs.

About: We’ve grown up with dogs and have been around them most of our lives, so we’re very comfortable handling their day-to-day needs. We also regularly look after friends’ dogs, which has given us experience with a range of breeds, temperaments, and routines. We both work from home every day, so dogs in our care get plenty of attention, supervision, and company throughout the day. We’re used to managing feeding, walks, and general care, and we make sure to stick to each dog’s usual routine to help them stay settled while their owners are away. During the week, we both work from home, with one office day each scheduled on different days, ensuring that there is always one of us at home to care for the dog. We finish work at 3pm, allowing plenty of time for an evening walk and attention. On weekends, we are not working, so the dog would enjoy more dedicated time with us, often including day trips typically to the beach. Your dog’s safety and wellbeing are a top priority. The property features a secure, fully fenced garden with a padlocked gate, providing a safe outdoor space for exercise and play, including a generous area of natural grass. We are also fully licensed by the local council for dog sitting, meaning the home has been inspected and approved to meet required safety standards. For added peace of mind, we do not own any dogs and never mix pets from different households, ensuring your dog receives dedicated care and a calm, controlled environment at all times.

About: Hi I'm currently carrying out an undergraduate degree in Animal Behaviour and Welfare and previously completed a college course gaining an extended diploma in Animal care level 3, I had the opportunity to gain practical experience caring for cats during a work experience placement at a local cattery. My responsibilities included assisting with daily husbandry tasks such as feeding, cleaning enclosures, maintaining hygiene standards, monitoring cat wellbeing and behaviour, and helping ensure the cats remained comfortable and settled during their stay. This experience has provided me with a deeper understanding of feline behaviour, body language, and the importance of providing calm, consistent care tailored to each cat's individual needs. I have completed a pet first aid & CPR certification and understand how to recognise and respond to common pet emergencies, including choking, bleeding, poisoning, seizures and heat-related illness, which helps me remain calm under pressure and prepared me for any potential scenarios

“I needed someone to come and feed my cat once a day whilst I went on holiday. Samantha was absolutely fantastic and made everything so easy. Excellent communication throughout and I would have no hesitation in contacting Samantha again. As soon as I book another holiday I’ll be booking Samantha once more.”

About: I'm an animal care professional with a genuine love of caring for all animals and a calm, patient approach. I know that every cat is different. Some will be waiting at the door for fuss, while others would much rather watch from across the room! Whatever their personality, I'll let them set the pace and make sure they feel safe, comfortable and relaxed while you're away. During each visit, I'll follow your cat's usual routine as closely as possible. That might include feeding, fresh water, cleaning litter trays, administering medication (where appropriate), playtime, enrichment or simply spending some quiet time with them if that's what they prefer. I'll also keep an eye on their wellbeing and let you know straight away if I notice anything out of the ordinary. If you have other pets too, I'm more than happy to care for them during my visit. Whether it's rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, birds, reptiles or other small animals, I can feed them, refresh their water, clean out enclosures where needed and make sure they're happy and comfortable too. I know how important it is to trust the person looking after your pets, so I pride myself on being reliable, respectful and communicative. I'll send regular photo and video updates after every visit, so you can relax knowing your pets are safe, settled and in caring hands. My aim is simple: to make sure your pets are well cared for and their routine stays as normal as possible until you're home again.

“Julie was absolutely lovely! She looked after our little rascal with so much care and attention. Icarus was always fed and had clean litter boxes. She even brought a fan when it was awfully hot! Thank you so so much! We will definitely be coming back to her!”

About: I grew up in a rural area and we always had cats, so caring for them has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Over the years, I've lived with many cats and have always loved being around animals. I understand that every cat is different, some love attention while others prefer their own space, and I'm happy to adapt to their individual personalities. Whether it's feeding, litter box cleaning, play sessions, or simply providing company, I'll make sure your cat feels safe, comfortable, and cared for while you're away.

“Rosa was absolutely amazing with my four cats and Guinea pig. We’ve used many sitters before but I can honestly say Rosa is the best. She is so good with the animals and you can tell she truly cares about them. She was brilliant on her communication with us when we were away, sending daily updates and pictures (which we’d asked her to do because we were worried about one cat in particular). I will definitely be using Rosa again when we go away next and would recommend her to anybody looking for a kind, caring and reliable pet sitter. Thank you Rosa! X”

“Victoria was incredible with my kitty! It was the first time I’ve ever left my cat so I was really nervous but she catered to all of her needs, brought over toys & even looked into the weather to make sure my cat would be okay outside. I had a text every day with updates & photos. I will be using her services again :)”

About: I’m a uni student and a big dog lover. I have a Jack Russell back home so I know what it’s like to be away from your baby and want the best care for them. I’ve also helped look after my friend’s Jack Russell, so I’m used to high-energy dogs and keeping them happy and active. I’m patient, reliable and I’d honestly love the chance to share some of the love I’m missing from my own dog while making sure yours feels safe, loved and cared for. I’m currently a student at Swansea University and I have classes in the mornings some days and some days in the late afternoon. I’m available to board at the weekends. When I’m in a pet owner’s home, I make sure to respect their space and stick closely to the pet’s usual routine so they feel safe and settled. I pay attention to feeding times, walks, play, and any little quirks the pet might have. I also make sure to give regular updates so owners know their pet is in good hands. Our pets are quite literally our children and so I get that pet owners want updates every 5 seconds. It’s important to me that both the pet and their owner feel comfortable and at ease the whole time.

“I am so glad I found Rhiannon, I know my puppy Mabel is well looked after in her care and has the best time! Mabel comes home so happy and absolutely shattered after all the fun she has at doggy daycare. 100% recommend!”

“An excellent dogsitter! Nia was welcoming, knowledgeable and friendly. She introduced Deedee to the other dog there carefully and made sure they felt secure before encouraging them to play (or if they preferred, just lie together). Deedee loves other dogs and had lots of fun running around Nia's lovely garden. Nia also kept me updated on how Deedee was doing throughout the day. I felt relaxed and happy knowing Deedee was being so well-cared for. I'd definitely recommend Nia to anyone looking for great dog care.”

About: Hi, I'm Sam! I'm a 26-year-old long-time animal lover and experienced house & pet sitter based in Port Talbot. In 2022, I embarked on an 8-month trip around Australia with my partner George, most of which we spent house & pet sitting for local people in the destinations we visited - it helped us to get experience under our belt, save money on hotels and get some cuddles in the absence of our own pets. It was an amazing experience and we've since continued keeping people's pets company when they need it now that we're back home. I have more than 20 5* reviews from my experience so far. Some testimonials are below and some feedback is also shown on my profile, but I can send through all of the references I've been given to any interested pet owners - just drop me a message. I've grown up with pets and currently have a border collie called Meg and a grey cat called Daisy, both six-years-old. I'm experienced in administering different types of medication and working with shy, energetic, anxious and complex animals, so I have become highly confident in what I do. I'm a non-smoker, clean & tidy guest, and a fully remote worker so can ensure your pets have all the company they require. NOTE: George often joins me on overnight sits when agreed with the home owner. He loves to help out and has had plenty of experience, as demonstrated in our reviews. However this is completely up to the pet owner and what’s best for your home and pets! My services 🐾Overnight house & pet sitting (at pet's home) - including plant watering, mail collection and household maintenance. Both long and short term sits available. 🐾Dog walking - for as long as the dog requires and at location local to the dog's home (at the dog's favourite walk locations if desired) 🐾Day visits (full day care or quick feeding visits) - including plant watering and mail collection 🐾Day care (AT PET'S HOME ONLY) - sorry, I currently can’t have pets at my home as I’m undergoing renovations. However, I’m very happy to do day care at the pet’s home where agreed with the pet owner. Note that the day care option states it’s at my home regardless due to app settings. What clients said about us: 💬"Samantha & George looked after our dogs and house for 17 days. We couldn't be happier with the love and care they gave our extremely spoilt dogs. They sent us regular photos and updates and it was obvious the dogs loved them too. The house was cared for equally well. They are such a lovely, responsible couple who I couldn't recommend more highly." - Leonie & Phil, Busselton (Australia) 💬"Samantha & George were the most wonderful house sitters - we could not have asked for more from them. Their communication was excellent in the lead up and throughout the stay, sending photos and updates. They left the house in a very clean and tidy condition and our cats were very happy and healthy. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking!" - Emma, Cooroy (Australia) 💬"OUTSTANDING... we couldn't be happier with Sam & George. They are lovely people. Our two pups were so well looked after. We returned to a beautifully clean house. What more could you possibly want? Thank you for being caring of our girls and respectful of our home. Highly recommend." - Maxwell, Tugun (Australia) 💬"Samantha and her partner George are an amazing couple, communicating with them was very easy and they are very comfortable people to have in your home. My two dogs clearly loved them and on my return they were very happy and obviously well looked after. My house was as I had left it, probably cleaner, they had washed all their linen and remade their bed. They are 5 star pet sitters and I highly recommend them." - Denise, Byron Bay (Australia) 💬"A truly delightful couple, Samantha & George are pet owners dream housesitters. They are honest, kind, clean & caring with a real love for animals, especially the ones they’re caring for. They kept me updated and took care of all my pets needs. The house was left spotless in my return too…If you are looking for pet/house sitters these guys should be on the top of your list. I only hope next time I need pet/house sitters that they are available. Thank you for taking such great care of my furbabies and my home.. you guys are AWESOME ⭐️🙏🏼♥️" - Maria, Sydney (Australia) 💬"Thanks so much Sam and George for looking after our place and most importantly, Mr Bluey! He was so happy and chilled when we got back it was a great relief- not that we were surprised at all :) Sam and George sent really cute updates about Bluey which really put our minds at ease knowing he was happy and looked after. Can’t recommend these wonderful sitters more and would happily have them again!" - Anita, Melbourne (Australia) 💬"The whole process with Sam and George can be summarised in one word, "easy". They were a dream to have come sit our 2 cats and 2 chickens. They were great communicators, left the house cleaner than they found it, and even took the liberty of washing their bedding (which we didn't ask them too, and was a very nice gesture!). They were great with communication the whole way through, sent us update photos during their stay and let us know when they had locked up and left. Coming home to a clean house and 2 VERY happy cats was a fantastic finish to our holiday. On a logistics note, they were happy to adhere to our feeding schedule for the cats, and kept the chickens water and feed full. It was clear to see the cats had been given ample play time and were not devoid of affection one bit. Also, they emptied/refreshed the litter box, and set out the cat food before they left so we wouldn't have to, which was awesome. Thank you Sam and George, would 10/10 have sit again!" - Jaden, Adelaide (Australia) More references available - message me for more info! I'm a remote and flexible worker so I fit my pet care responsibilities around my day job and work from wherever I am. This means I can be around to keep your pets company throughout the day, maintain regular routines, and take your dogs for the walks they need when they need them. I'm available every day of the week. I conduct meet and greets before the first service to learn about the pet(s), their behaviours, needs and any relevant features of the home itself. This is a chance to learn about their routines, what they eat, and anything else I need to be aware of. I never walk dogs off-lead and I am able to constantly supervise pets when needed.

About: I’ve looked after several dogs and cats in the last few years of varying ages and sizes, both at my home and the owner’s. Most recently, I sat for a very cute Lurcher puppy at his home three days a week, for four months last summer, helping to toilet and crate train him, and playing with him throughout the day while ensuring he got enough rest. I have looked after him on the odd occasion since and he is always very excited to see me. I have also looked after an 11 year old Dalmatian on three different occasions for 3-6 weeks at a time and we have formed a close bond. He feels comfortable in my home and needs quite a lot exercise so we enjoy lots of long walks together. When I first looked after him he could be quite reactive and would pull on the lead a lot, but we have done quite a bit of work together and he is much calmer now. I’ve also had the pleasure of caring for the sweetest 11 year old Miniature Schnauzer on several occasions for a few days at a time, making lots of time for snuggles but also taking her down to the beach where she loves to explore. I’ve also housesat for friends and family, looking after their cats while they were on holiday. My friend’s cats were quite nervous so I was happy to take their lead on how close I got. While they were wary to begin with, they would happily sit with me and let me stroke them by the end of the week. My friends have asked me to catsit again this September. All in all, the fact that owners have trusted me to look after their pets for long periods of time and on more than one occasion shows that I am reliable and will care for your pet like they are my own, with the utmost love, care and attention. The owners have also appreciated the regular updates and pictures I send and I will always make sure to do the same for you. I work from home four days a week and can be flexible on location so am happy to come to yours or look after your pet at my house. I’m available during the week and at weekends for quick drop ins, a full day or for boarding, from one night to several weeks at a time if required. I have a large, enclosed garden for your pet to have a good run around if needed. There are also lots of good walks nearby, including a park and the beach is nearby. I live alone and don’t have any pets or children, so can provide a calm, secure space. My work is quite flexible so I can make time to play with your pet and show them the love and attention they need. Also happy to crate if required.
“First time for my dog Honey to visit Susana today. Susana was a great sitter and posted me pictures and a video of her happy and playing. I would have no problem having Susana look after Honey again, she came home happy and tired from playing. Thank you x”

“Kingsley looked after our dog so well. He sent us photos regularly and kept us informed of their activities. He’s so calm and calming. Our dog was happy throughout.”

The 2 puppers featured in my profile are currently living up in Scotland with my parents, so won’t be with me when I’m caring for your fur babies. You’ll receive plenty of pupdates from myself during our time together and I look forward to get to know you and your lovely pets! I am in the final stages of finishing my masters, I work from home and alongside my athletic career, I have plenty of time to devote to your pups in the great outdoors - come rain or shine!!!

About: I am a newly qualified vet and am having time off before I start working in October. This is just a way of me doing what I love without excess stress. I am currently not working so I can be very flexible with work hours and can work around you. Most weekends I am also available and can do house sitting if needed. Whatever the service required I will make sure that the dog/cat is content and has everything they need including exercise, feed/water provision and any medications if needed.
About: I am a third year veterinary student at the university of Liverpool with a great passion for animals. I live on a farm back home and have been surrounded by animals all my life so I’m extremely aware of their needs and how to care for them. On top of this I also work as a veterinary nurse with small animals such as dogs and cats. I am currently home for the summer from university so I have plenty of time and availability to care for animals. I am flexible with time and hours also. I live on a farm with lots of safe and well socialised animals. But to allow for my full attention to be for your pets when staying in my home, these animals will be separated. The land and garden is fenced ensuring safety and have lots of room for exercise as well as near amazing nature walks.
About: Animals have always been at the center of my life — both dogs and cats are family to me, not just pets. Caring for them isn’t something I switch off from; it’s simply who I am. Every time I go on holiday, I make sure I’m prepared — I’ve even carried a 6kg bag of animal food in my rucksack while hiking up mountains, just to ensure animals are fed and cared for (with photos to prove it). I share my life with my own cat and understand feline behavior deeply, from quiet communication to respecting boundaries. I’ve trained my cat using positive reinforcement, including recall, sit, paw, high five, and spin. I also have years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all sizes, ages, and energy levels, always with patience, structure, and love. I currently volunteer at Llys Nini Cattery, where I’m surrounded by cats daily and care for a wide range of personalities — from shy and nervous to confident and playful. Every animal I look after receives the same devotion, respect, and attention I give my own. Special Skills • 🐾 Experienced with both dogs and cats • 🧠 Strong understanding of animal body language & behavior • 🐕 Excellent recall and basic training support • 🐈 Positive-reinforcement training for cats and dogs • 💖 Especially good with anxious, shy, or rescue animals • 🧘 Calm, reassuring presence that helps animals feel safe • 💊 Comfortable with basic medication administration • 🧼 Attentive to routine, hygiene, and enrichment • 📸 Regular updates and photos for peace of mind Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I currently volunteer at Llys Nini and am not working, as I’m focusing on pursuing my passion for animal care. This gives me a very flexible schedule, allowing me to provide attentive, unrushed care and adapt fully to each pet’s needs. I care for pets both at my home and at the owner’s house, depending on what works best for them. My home has a large, fully walled garden, giving dogs plenty of space to run, play, and explore safely. I provide structured walks, playtime, and mental stimulation, as well as a calm environment for pets to relax. At an owner’s home, I follow their routines closely — feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any special needs or medications — to ensure pets feel safe and comfortable in their own environment. I also make sure pets have plenty of attention, affection, and supervision, whether inside or outside, and I always keep their space clean, safe, and enriched so they feel happy, secure, and loved.
About: I have grown up with dogs my whole life and I love them more than humans. No matter what’s happening in the world a dog makes everything better :) Happy to help with any dog. I have experience with anxious and reactive dogs. Happy to do a meet and great before also, so you, your dog and I are comfortable. My shifts vary each week so depending on the time I can be available any day of the week, also available for on the day bookings. I live in a 3 bed house with a fenced garden and lots of space to explore. Also not far from a large park. Depending on the service a lot of love and attention will be provided.
“Alba loved being with Alice and partner today, she got a lot of exercise and was well looked after. Alice understood all Alba’s needs and made sure she was settled. One thing they suggested was to let Alba investigate the new place she would be staying for the day, go for a walk and then back to the same space, helps to lower anxiety, this is a great tip and one I will use in the future. Thank you”

“We contacted Sophia at short notice to walk our greyhound a few times, we did a meet and greet the day before and we instantly knew Casey would be in good hands, friendly and very professional, on time for each walk and Casey was very happy. It's a 10/10 from us and Casey agrees wholeheartedly We highly recommend Sophia 😀”

As proud owners of two happy spaniels, Bella and Winnie, we know how important it is to find someone you can trust to care for your pets while you’re away or busy.
“Rhiannon was amazing, we booked for a weekend stay for our 15 year old dog and he absolutely loved it. I received constant updated with photos. I needed an emergency over night sit as our car broke down and Rhiannon was brill and it wasn't an issue. We shall definitely be visiting again :) 10 stars if I could!”

“fred had another fab stay with kingsley - he clearly loves staying there, kingsley takes such good care of him and sends lots of photos and videos so you’re never worrying! thank you so much again, we’ll see you for our next booking :)”

“My husband and I were confident that our young dog Cooper would have a fabulous time with Jess and be well looked after for his mini holiday with her. He has stayed overnight with her before and settled really well with her yet again. We very much appreciate the fun and care she has provided for Cooper and we would definitely book in with Jess again in the future. 🙂”

“We left our dog Leia with Sophie for the weekend, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. This was the first time we’ve left Leia with anyone other than family and she made us feel at ease. We received regular updates and videos, which really made a difference and reassured us while we were away. Leia came home happy and clearly very well looked after.

“Alice looked after our Frenchie for the night. She was very present and kept us well updated keeping our mind at ease. Yoda was a happy boy when we got him back so it’s clear he’d definitely come back!”
