“Ffion is a kind and incredibly generous person, who would be an amazing dog sitter. She is very loving and will greatly look after any dog put in her care. I know this as she has her own dog who I know she loves and adores very much, so I think she would be a very good candidate for this.”

About: I have been a dog owner for 12 years now. I spent many summers as a child pet sitting and dog walking to earn pocket money. My partners family have also always had dogs so I have spent a lot of time around them and looking after them as well. Because of this I have experience with all aged dogs. I currently work full time Monday to Friday. So would be offering weekend availability for the time being. This may increase to evenings on weekdays if needed. I would respect the house rules of the owners I am pet sitting for. If the weather is going to be bad while away I will have plenty of towels to dry off pets before allowing them back inside the home to ensure to keep their property clean. My partner and parents would be the only people to know where I am, as a safety measure, no one but me would ever be in the penises. I have an enclosed back garden where the dogs would have freedom to outside. I have a pet cam to check in on pets for any period I am or my partner are not present in the house.

I would definitely use her services again and I'd recommend her to anyone looking for a pet sitter.”

About: My time at college and University have allowed me to have experience in animal husbandry and feeding. Whilst also giving me a keen interest in observing different species behaviours. I have volunteered at Many Tears Dog Charity, where I walked the dogs and helped puppies to develop their social interaction. I am currently a 3rd year Zoology student who is home for easter, I work in a restaurant and have a very flexible work schedule. I have a lovely Weimaraner at home, who is spoilt rotten with lots of cuddles, treats and walks. She is a very energetic dog that requires lots of attention.

About: I’ve grown up looking after dogs. From 3 Alaskan Malamutes who I spent time with every day after school from age 5, to my grandad’s gorgeous old German Shepard, I’ve always adored dogs. My dad adopted a 3 year old Dogue de Bordeaux when I was 8, and she then had a litter of 9 pups who we helped look after, eventually keeping one of the boys. My mum allowed me my first puppy after begging for years at age 9, on the premise that I took care of him. We also had a few other dogs in the family who I looked after and spent a lot of time with. When I was old enough, around age 18 I began taking care of friends and family’s dogs while they were away, including a Labrador, a cavapoo, French bulldogs and a border terrier. I have been a member of Borrow my Doggy where I have walked and played stranger’s dogs. Unfortunately, my childhood dogs have recently passed away with age. Additionally, I have moved into my own home, so while I love walking and spending time with my dad’s new dogs, I don’t have a dog of my own in the home at the moment. I terribly miss being around dogs all the time, and jump at any opportunity to look after or be around dogs. I also have experience looking after cats. My Auntie, grandmother and grandfather have always had cats, so I have grown up around cats also. I have cat-sit for my grandmother on a few occasions, as well as regularly looking after two tiny kittens over the last two years, and catsitting for family friends. I currently work part-time and am completing my master’s degree. I work roughly 12 hours and go to uni 6 hours a week. I am usually home most of the daytime and only busy 1-2 evenings a week with work. I spend most of my times studying, so having a dog around to keep me company would be ideal. I also need study breaks, so going for a walk or checking in on a dog would give my brain a break and help me reset. I live in a quiet area right next to large grass area and a big woodland which leads to a lake which is perfect for dog walking. I have a gated back garden with some grass, and easy back door access. If your dogs stays at home with me, they will have plenty of space to play and to chill/cuddle with me in the living room. If you’d like me to walk or care for your dog in an area familiar to them I will happily get used to your space also.

About: I have experience in looking after dogs all ages/ sizes! Grown up with Malamute's to Bichon’s, and appreciate different dogs need different types of love and care. I’m currently working full time, but remote for the majority of the week, and can choose my days when I’m in the office, so when needed, I can look after your pets at all times, and can walk them/ feed them at their normal times. Unfortunately, I cannot look after dogs in my own home, but with my dog, I walk him more than once a day, has a good amount of love and attention (probably too much attention), and is (very!!) well fed, so I will make sure that your pets will be well loved and looked after.
18. Cerys H.
“I cannot thank Cerys enough for the incredible service they provide for my Great Dane puppy. As a busy professional, I rely on their expertise for daily dog walks, and I couldn't be happier with the results. Not only does Cerys handle my pup's boundless energy with ease, but they also take the extra step to assist with training during our walks. Their patience, knowledge, and genuine love for animals shine through as they help my puppy overcome fears and learn essential commands. Thanks to Cerys, I come home to a happy, well-exercised, and increasingly well-behaved pup every day. I highly recommend their services to any pet owner seeking compassionate and skilled care.”
19. Sarah K.
“Sarah is the perfect kind of person to be on Rover. Since I've known her she's lived with dogs, been around dogs (purposefully) and talked about dogs. Sarah lives in the beautiful Afan Valley with her partner Shaun and has access to the best walks, adventures and sniffable spots. Sarah had a big secure garden and lives around friendly neighbours who love dogs too! If the doggies stay with Sarah they will get the best cuddles, and attention. Sarah had her own dog, Thor... who also loves cuddles and attention!! Sarah would respectful of any dog rules, e.g. where to walk, rules within the home, dietary requirements, to ensure a smooth transition between home and home away from home. Sarah is organised and responsive. Sarah would ensure to keep your doggies appointments and will not let you or your four-legged friend down! I absolutely would recommend scheduling a meet and greet with Sarah. Your dog would be in safe, fun and dependable hands! 🐾”
