About: Hi, my name is Angharad and I’m from Wales in the UK. Throughout my life, I have cared for friends and family members pets, taking dogs for walks, feeding and playing with cats, feeding and cleaning out rabbits, chickens and feeding sheep, horses and pigs. I absolutely love interacting with animals! I have a degree in Animal Behaviour and have various work experience including working at rescue centres, looking after pets at the vets, assisting with puppy classes and helping at an elephant orphanage in Sri Lanka. I now work for Guide Dogs, an assistance dogs charity that helps visually impaired people with independent mobility. I train dogs from 12 months the guiding task to guide someone who is blind or visually impaired. I am a qualified dog care and welfare assistant, guide dog trainer and guide dog mobility specialist. About: Have had dogs in the family for the last 16 years, having my own dog Jojo for the last 6 years from when he was a puppy. Have looked after other dogs during this time in a casual way but generally have a lot of experience with larger dogs and some experience with small dogs. Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English, French, German, and Spanish from Mon-Sat 9am to 6pm. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a qualified vet or offer other resources to help.
