“Rosa did a drop in for our six month old labrador puppy. She facilitated a meet and greet beforehand which was great and gave us a lot of confidence that she would take good care of our pup. On the day, she provided us with updates and followed our instructions perfectly. We would recommend Rosa.”

“Came back to a very happy cat! Had to squeeze in an extra day on short notice and was very kindly accepted 🙏 Really professional and friendly, highly recommend! Thanks Sophia 😄”

“Hannah was lovely. Bruce was a little anxious at first but her gentle and calm demeanor soon reassured him. It was a great introduction and Bruce is looking forward to a longer sitting with Hannah on Friday”

“Keira has done drop-in visits when we are away on holiday. She has done a marvellous job. Our little "Thea" stayed happy and healthy. Keira is punctual. We have been updated with details, including photos and videos, after each visit. I would highly recommend her.”

“Lucy was absolutely brilliant with Storm! This was my first time using a cat sitter and she completely put my mind at ease. I got lovely updates and plenty of photos after every visit, and Storm clearly became very comfortable with her. I came home to a very happy, well looked after cat and will absolutely be booking Lucy again 😊”

About: I grew up with dogs and cats, walking, bathing, brushing, drying and feeding them all, ive also had walks with 2 dogs at once with no issue. I've dealt with big old Labradors to energetic spaniels. I'm also currently doing a dog grooming and training course. I'm a student; I often have free periods, holidays, and quite a bit of free time. I have wanted to start getting out more, and dog walking is the best way for me to do that, in my mind. I'm unable to let dogs stay at my home sadly but I'm happy to stay at your home, to drop in, walk the dogs. I'll follow any instructions you guys give as you know your pets best.
“Kate was absolutely fantastic! She took great care of my cat while I was on holiday. It was so reassuring to know my pet was in such good hands. Communication was easy—Kate was always quick to respond and kept me updated throughout. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter!”

About: I grew up on a farm and have always been surrounded by animals, I studied animal care and animal behaviour while at college and i'm more than happy to look after your furry friends 😃 I'm in between jobs so fully flexible and can liase with you to ensure that we work to your schedule in order to keep things as convenient as possible for you. My Cat is an indoor pet, however I grew up in the countryside and very used to feeding and taking dogs outside on a lead.

“We left our 2 cats in the care of Danielle for daily visits over 8 days, and we couldn’t be more pleased with the experience. Danielle is a total professional! Everything was completed as we agreed, and the communication was excellent throughout our time away, with detailed regular updates and photos, that gave us complete peace of mind. Danielle is great, calm and loving. Our cats were safe, healthy and happy with her. Danielle even made an extra visit to the house first thing in the morning, outside of their regular scheduled visit to check on them, when I wasn’t able to see them on our pet cameras during the night. She definitely put me at ease by going the extra mile, giving me the reassurance by letting me know they were ok and were sleeping soundly under the dining table, just outside the view of the pet camera! 😹 With Danielle showing so much care, it was clear that they were in safe, loving hands and helped me relax and enjoy our holiday, knowing they were well looked after. We’re incredibly grateful for the care and attention given to our kitties and would not hesitate to book Danielle again and highly recommend Danielle’s services to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter!”

About: I’ve looked after several dogs and cats in the last few years of varying ages and sizes, both at my home and the owner’s. Most recently, I sat for a very cute Lurcher puppy at his home three days a week, for four months last summer, helping to toilet and crate train him, and playing with him throughout the day while ensuring he got enough rest. I have looked after him on the odd occasion since and he is always very excited to see me. I have also looked after an 11 year old Dalmatian on three different occasions for 3-6 weeks at a time and we have formed a close bond. He feels comfortable in my home and needs quite a lot exercise so we enjoy lots of long walks together. When I first looked after him he could be quite reactive and would pull on the lead a lot, but we have done quite a bit of work together and he is much calmer now. I’ve also had the pleasure of caring for the sweetest 11 year old Miniature Schnauzer on several occasions for a few days at a time, making lots of time for snuggles but also taking her down to the beach where she loves to explore. I’ve also housesat for friends and family, looking after their cats while they were on holiday. My friend’s cats were quite nervous so I was happy to take their lead on how close I got. While they were wary to begin with, they would happily sit with me and let me stroke them by the end of the week. My friends have asked me to catsit again this September. All in all, the fact that owners have trusted me to look after their pets for long periods of time and on more than one occasion shows that I am reliable and will care for your pet like they are my own, with the utmost love, care and attention. The owners have also appreciated the regular updates and pictures I send and I will always make sure to do the same for you. I work from home four days a week and can be flexible on location so am happy to come to yours or look after your pet at my house. I’m available during the week and at weekends for quick drop ins, a full day or for boarding, from one night to several weeks at a time if required. I have a large, enclosed garden for your pet to have a good run around if needed. There are also lots of good walks nearby, including a park and the beach is nearby. I live alone and don’t have any pets or children, so can provide a calm, secure space. My work is quite flexible so I can make time to play with your pet and show them the love and attention they need. Also happy to crate if required.
“Aimee was brilliant, she came every day and spent lots of time with Maverick. She played with him and gave him lots of cuddles which was fab. Alongside this she took many pictures so I could see how he was and she ensured that everything was in place. ”

About: Although I am new to pet sitting professionally, I have grown up around animals and have cared for cats and dogs throughout my life. I have 2 family dogs at home who I regularly care for and spend time with. I am comfortable feeding, walking and following individuals routines, alongside a lot of cuddles! I genuinely love animals and understand the importance of leaving your pets with someone trustworthy. I will always treat your pets as if they were my own. I am starting my Masters degree in September and will be working part time alongside my studies. This means I will have good availability around my commitments, including days off, evenings and weekends. I can be flexible and I am happy to discuss availability with each other to ensure I can provide consistent care for their pet. As I live in a shared professionals house, I am unable to provide boarding or care for pets at my home. However, I am more than happy to provide care in your pets own home, including walking, feeding, playtime and companionship. I will always follow their usual routines and I am happy to provide regular updates while you are away.
About: I’ve grown up with dogs and have always been a huge animal lover. I currently have my own dog, Joey, and have experience caring for dogs of all sizes, breeds and temperaments through Rover. I’ve looked after everything from nervous and anxious dogs who need extra reassurance and patience, to energetic, high-energy dogs who thrive on play, exercise and routine. I understand that every dog is different, so I take the time to learn their personality, needs and preferences to help them feel safe, comfortable and settled during their stay. I work from home full-time, meaning dogs are rarely left alone and receive plenty of attention, companionship, toilet breaks and enrichment throughout the day. I only take one guest dog at a time, allowing me to focus on providing individual care and a calm home environment. I have also cared for rescue and previously abused dogs who may need extra patience, understanding and gentle handling. Building trust at their pace is something I take seriously, and I always aim to provide a safe, loving environment where dogs can relax and feel secure. I offer up to two walks per day, including a longer walk after work. If your dog has favourite walking routes, parks or specific exercise preferences, I’ll do my best to accommodate them so they can maintain a familiar routine during their stay. I follow owners’ instructions closely, including feeding schedules, medication requirements, training routines and any special requests. My goal is to make your dog’s stay as enjoyable and stress-free as possible while giving you peace of mind that they are being cared for like one of my own. Happy to arrange a meet & greet before any booking. I work from home full time, so dogs are rarely left alone and I’m able to give regular attention, toilet breaks and walks throughout the day. I’m flexible during weekdays and weekends and happy to fit around your dog’s usual routine to help them feel settled. I offer a calm, safe home environment and only take one guest dog at a time alongside my own friendly dog, Joey. Dogs are introduced carefully on a walk first and fed separately. I follow owners’ instructions closely, keep doors and windows secure, and always prioritise your dog’s comfort, routine and safety. Happy to do a meet & greet beforehand.

About: I've owned both dogs and cats since childhood and I am currently cat mum to Dill and Scout, two very fluffy felines! I have looked after neighbours and friends cats and dogs for years, and for the past year I have been paid to look after a very lively springer spaniel called Bertie. I'm currently new to Swansea and retired so I'm very flexible with plenty of time to devote to your pets and create and plan to help care for your pets when you need! Having had pets of my own i understand how important their safety and wellbeing is to you! As a homeowner myself I understand the importance of feeling comfortable with someone having access to your home. I have ensured to provide this level of trust with the owners i have previously worked with.

About: I enjoy being outdoors and regularly explore the beautiful beaches of Swansea - perfect for keeping your dog happy, active, and engaged. I’d love to meet your dog and give them the best possible time while you’re away. I have experience caring for dogs of all ages - from cheeky, energetic puppies to senior dogs who need regular medical care and a gentler pace. I’m comfortable with all sizes and breeds, having looked after everything from miniature schnauzers and chihuahuas to retrievers and german shepherds. I live alone with my own dog, Serpico - a friendly 3 year old lurcher cross, who loves playing and socialising with other dogs - so your doggo will always have great company. We follow a consistent routine with morning and evening walks, including time for off-leash runs, but I’m always happy to adapt to suit your dog’s individual needs. As a dog owner myself, I completely understand how it feels to leave your pet in someone else’s care. That’s why I’ll always provide regular updates and photos, so you can feel reassured and relaxed while you’re away. I currently work from home on Mondays and Fridays and will only offer boarding on these days as well as weekends. Which means I have plenty of time to dedicate to your doggo. I usually go for a morning walk with my doggo at either the beach or park, providing space for a good run around. Followed up with a chilled evening walk to wind down. We’re happy to change up our schedule to meet your dog’s needs. I have a fenced garden and a dog of my own, who will act as a sociable playmate. We feel so lucky to have found Yueyue to look after Bingun! From the moment we met her, we knew he would be in great hands. Yueyue visited Bingun at home while we were away and treated him with so much care and kindness. She kept us updated after every visit with photos and messages, which we always looked forward to and really helped us relax knowing he was happy and well looked after. It was obvious how much Yueyue genuinely cared about Bingun, and that meant a lot to us. When we got home, he was happy, relaxed, and clearly had been given plenty of love and attention. Thank you so much, Yueyue, for taking such wonderful care of Bingun. We truly appreciate everything you did and wouldn’t hesitate to book with you again. We highly recommend Yueyue to anyone looking for someone who will care for their pet as if it were their own!
Julie has done a fantastic job looking after our cats while we were away. She was very friendly and we could tell our cats warmed up to her very quickly. She was also very good at communicating and kept us updated with lots of pictures. We felt very safe with her looking after our cats and would definitely book again.

Absolutely wonderful petsitter, took fab care of my very spoilt cat and answered every one of my helicopter mum questions leading up to the pet sitting. Should consider a jump in to pet photography, got some amazing pictures and videos. My girl has discerning taste and she loved Cae right from the get go, but he was still so good with her and gave lots of sniffs. Thank you so much Cae ❤️

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Swansea choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a key safe or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a key safe. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalised codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in a flat, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or lift etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Emergency support is available by phone or email in English, French, German, and Spanish from Mon-Sat 9am to 6pm.
