I take a group of 6–8 dogs on bespoke walks to beaches, woodlands, and mountains, allowing them to explore different environments. Overnight Boarding Overnight boarding is also available for those needing care beyond the day. She is a senior girl at 12 years old, so I have first hand experience of senior dogs, meaning administering medication etc is not an issue. Puppies, younger dogs are also welcome as Betsie still has energy for playtime. We can provide a loving home from home & pets are allowed on sofas and beds if that’s their thing (it’s certainly Betsie’s!!) About: I grew up with dogs and we’ve had dogs all our married life. Our dog Teddy is a 7 year old Cavochon. He is a gentle loving boy. In the past I have dog sat for family and colleagues from work. I would love to have more dogs around as they really do make me happy. They always seem to take to me too !! Our children are in their 20’s and work shifts so around during some days. Myself and my husband Craig are off on weekends. We spend lots of time out in the garden. About: I have looked after cats for friends and family for a number of years. All of them have very different personalities and varying levels of tolerance for humans so I take their lead on how much interaction they want. My mum’s cat can be quite aggressive if touched when she doesn’t want to be. However, when sitting on the sofa she will be happy to come and sit on my lap for a snuggle. Last year I looked after my friend’s two cats for a week at her house, while she was on holiday. They are quite anxious cats and were initially quite wary of me but I made time to play with them and by the end of the week they were happy to sit near me and let me stroke them. I made sure to keep my friend regularly updated throughout the week, which she appreciated. She has asked me to look after them again this year, and said it really put her mind at rest to know they were so well looked after while she was away.

About: I’ve looked after several dogs and cats in the last few years of varying ages and sizes, both at my home and the owner’s. Most recently, I sat for a very cute Lurcher puppy at his home three days a week, for four months last summer, helping to toilet and crate train him, and playing with him throughout the day while ensuring he got enough rest. I have looked after him on the odd occasion since and he is always very excited to see me. I have also looked after an 11 year old Dalmatian on three different occasions for 3-6 weeks at a time and we have formed a close bond. He feels comfortable in my home and needs quite a lot exercise so we enjoy lots of long walks together. When I first looked after him he could be quite reactive and would pull on the lead a lot, but we have done quite a bit of work together and he is much calmer now. I’ve also had the pleasure of caring for the sweetest 11 year old Miniature Schnauzer on several occasions for a few days at a time, making lots of time for snuggles but also taking her down to the beach where she loves to explore. I’ve also housesat for friends and family, looking after their cats while they were on holiday. My friend’s cats were quite nervous so I was happy to take their lead on how close I got. While they were wary to begin with, they would happily sit with me and let me stroke them by the end of the week. My friends have asked me to catsit again this September. All in all, the fact that owners have trusted me to look after their pets for long periods of time and on more than one occasion shows that I am reliable and will care for your pet like they are my own, with the utmost love, care and attention. The owners have also appreciated the regular updates and pictures I send and I will always make sure to do the same for you. I work from home four days a week and can be flexible on location so am happy to come to yours or look after your pet at my house. About: I’ve looked after several dogs and cats in the last few years of varying ages and sizes, both at my home and the owner’s. Most recently, I sat for a very cute Lurcher puppy at his home three days a week, for four months last summer, helping to toilet and crate train him, and playing with him throughout the day while ensuring he got enough rest. I have looked after him on the odd occasion since and he is always very excited to see me. I have also looked after an 11 year old Dalmatian on three different occasions for 3-6 weeks at a time and we have formed a close bond. He feels comfortable in my home and needs quite a lot exercise so we enjoy lots of long walks together. When I first looked after him he could be quite reactive and would pull on the lead a lot, but we have done quite a bit of work together and he is much calmer now. I’ve also had the pleasure of caring for the sweetest 11 year old Miniature Schnauzer on several occasions for a few days at a time, making lots of time for snuggles but also taking her down to the beach where she loves to explore. I’ve also housesat for friends and family, looking after their cats while they were on holiday. My friend’s cats were quite nervous so I was happy to take their lead on how close I got. While they were wary to begin with, they would happily sit with me and let me stroke them by the end of the week. My friends have asked me to catsit again this September. All in all, the fact that owners have trusted me to look after their pets for long periods of time and on more than one occasion shows that I am reliable and will care for your pet like they are my own, with the utmost love, care and attention. The owners have also appreciated the regular updates and pictures I send and I will always make sure to do the same for you. I work from home four days a week and can be flexible on location so am happy to come to yours or look after your pet at my house. I’m available during the week and at weekends for quick drop ins, a full day or for boarding, from one night to several weeks at a time if required. I have a large, enclosed garden for your pet to have a good run around if needed. There are also lots of good walks nearby, including a park and the beach is nearby. I live alone and don’t have any pets or children, so can provide a calm, secure space. I've dealt with big old Labradors to energetic spaniels. I'm also currently doing a dog grooming and training course. I'm a student; I often have free periods, holidays, and quite a bit of free time. About: I have both professional and personal experience with animals of all kinds, having completed a HE course at an agricultural college i am soon off to uni to start my veterinary nursing course. Last year I worked at a charity that rehomed abandoned and surrendered dogs near north london so I have handled breeds big, small and of varying temperaments and needs. About: I grew up with dogs and we’ve had dogs all our married life. Our dog Teddy is a 7 year old Cavochon. He is a gentle loving boy. In the past I have dog sat for family and colleagues from work. I would love to have more dogs around as they really do make me happy. They always seem to take to me too !! Our children are in their 20’s and work shifts so around during some days. Myself and my husband Craig are off on weekends. We spend lots of time out in the garden. We have a fenced garden. 5 steps in the garden but flat otherwise (2 levels) We live close to Margam park, Porthcawl, Mumbles and Aberavon beach for lots of walks. We walk our Cavachon Teddy twice a day.

About: I’ve grown up on a farm with weimaraners so am comfortable with big dogs and long walks. I’m comfortable around cats and rabbits also as I’ve also grown up with them. I have previously done lunchtime drop-ins and done home boarding and am happy to do either. I’m respectful, reliable and flexible, and have access to my own car so can travel within reason. I am currently in between returning from travelling and getting a full time job so have maximum availability and am available at short notice any day of the week. I have a fence off garden which has been purposely maintained for over 20 years to keep animals from escaping.
