I’d love to meet your dog and give them the best possible time while you’re away. I have experience caring for dogs of all ages - from cheeky, energetic puppies to senior dogs who need regular medical care and a gentler pace. I’m comfortable with all sizes and breeds, having looked after everything from miniature schnauzers and chihuahuas to retrievers and german shepherds. I live alone with my own dog, Serpico - a friendly 3 year old lurcher cross, who loves playing and socialising with other dogs - so your doggo will always have great company. We follow a consistent routine with morning and evening walks, including time for off-leash runs, but I’m always happy to adapt to suit your dog’s individual needs. As a dog owner myself, I completely understand how it feels to leave your pet in someone else’s care. That’s why I’ll always provide regular updates and photos, so you can feel reassured and relaxed while you’re away. I currently work from home on Mondays and Fridays and will only offer boarding on these days as well as weekends. Which means I have plenty of time to dedicate to your doggo. I usually go for a morning walk with my doggo at either the beach or park, providing space for a good run around. Followed up with a chilled evening walk to wind down. We’re happy to change up our schedule to meet your dog’s needs. I have a fenced garden and a dog of my own, who will act as a sociable playmate. I would love to meet up with you and your dog before boarding to make sure a connection is made with your doggo and that they feel comfortable staying at our home.

About: I started my journey on rover while I was in university in 2022, and having furry companions made my uni experience so much better. I now work from home in Abercrave, but still have plenty of time to care for new pups! I’m based in Abercrave and work full time from home, so am very flexible and would love to look after your four legged friends! I love nature and walking, so your dogs will always get plenty of exercise with me if they need it. I’ve had experience with dogs of all shapes and sizes, and love every one of them! I’m well equipped to deal with bigger, more high maintenance dogs due managing my own reactive GSD. Sadly, we lost my dog Oatie very recently to cancer. I used to love to explore with him, so know plenty of local spots. He was a very challenging dog, who could be reactive at times, leaving me with plenty of experience with dogs that can be tricky to handle, especially around strangers or other dogs. If you choose boarding, we have a lovely big & secure garden, with ample space for your dog(s) to explore. They will usually sleep in my room with me, but this is of course circumstantial on your pets needs.

About: I have taken care of friend's dogs and owned dogs for the last 20 years. We offer a calm family environment with one 8 year old child who is used to having dogs around. We had a French bulldog for 15 years and now have a very gentle and loving labradoodle who loves the company of other dogs, small and large. I work from home so I am able to make sure your dog gets lots of opportunities for toilet breaks and walks 🐾 I work from home and I am here the majority the time to care for your dog. About: ABOUT ME I have loads of experience with dogs including nervous dogs. I use to take emergency fosters from the local dogs home when they were struggling. I've got experience of nervous dogs, large breeds, energetic dogs and those with special diets and medical needs. I just get dogs on a visceral level (more than humans!). About: I have looked after cats for friends and family for a number of years. All of them have very different personalities and varying levels of tolerance for humans so I take their lead on how much interaction they want. My mum’s cat can be quite aggressive if touched when she doesn’t want to be. However, when sitting on the sofa she will be happy to come and sit on my lap for a snuggle. Last year I looked after my friend’s two cats for a week at her house, while she was on holiday. They are quite anxious cats and were initially quite wary of me but I made time to play with them and by the end of the week they were happy to sit near me and let me stroke them. I made sure to keep my friend regularly updated throughout the week, which she appreciated. She has asked me to look after them again this year, and said it really put her mind at rest to know they were so well looked after while she was away.

About: Hi I’m Jacob - I’m a masters student and athlete, who is very passionate and experienced with dogs. I enjoy being outside and keeping active, and would be thrilled to take your dog for walks, and give them the attention they deserve! Small/medium sized dogs, and puppies are my expertise but welcome all ages and sizes. About: I’ve looked after several dogs and cats in the last few years of varying ages and sizes, both at my home and the owner’s. Most recently, I sat for a very cute Lurcher puppy at his home three days a week, for four months last summer, helping to toilet and crate train him, and playing with him throughout the day while ensuring he got enough rest. I have looked after him on the odd occasion since and he is always very excited to see me. I have also looked after an 11 year old Dalmatian on three different occasions for 3-6 weeks at a time and we have formed a close bond. He feels comfortable in my home and needs quite a lot exercise so we enjoy lots of long walks together. When I first looked after him he could be quite reactive and would pull on the lead a lot, but we have done quite a bit of work together and he is much calmer now. I’ve also had the pleasure of caring for the sweetest 11 year old Miniature Schnauzer on several occasions for a few days at a time, making lots of time for snuggles but also taking her down to the beach where she loves to explore. I’ve also housesat for friends and family, looking after their cats while they were on holiday. My friend’s cats were quite nervous so I was happy to take their lead on how close I got. While they were wary to begin with, they would happily sit with me and let me stroke them by the end of the week. My friends have asked me to catsit again this September. All in all, the fact that owners have trusted me to look after their pets for long periods of time and on more than one occasion shows that I am reliable and will care for your pet like they are my own, with the utmost love, care and attention. The owners have also appreciated the regular updates and pictures I send and I will always make sure to do the same for you. I work from home four days a week and can be flexible on location so am happy to come to yours or look after your pet at my house. I’m available during the week and at weekends for quick drop ins, a full day or for boarding, from one night to several weeks at a time if required. About: I am a newly qualified vet and am having time off before I start working in October. This is just a way of me doing what I love without excess stress. I am currently not working so I can be very flexible with work hours and can work around you. Most weekends I am also available and can do house sitting if needed. About: I’ve looked after several dogs and cats in the last few years of varying ages and sizes, both at my home and the owner’s. Most recently, I sat for a very cute Lurcher puppy at his home three days a week, for four months last summer, helping to toilet and crate train him, and playing with him throughout the day while ensuring he got enough rest. I have looked after him on the odd occasion since and he is always very excited to see me. I have also looked after an 11 year old Dalmatian on three different occasions for 3-6 weeks at a time and we have formed a close bond. He feels comfortable in my home and needs quite a lot exercise so we enjoy lots of long walks together. When I first looked after him he could be quite reactive and would pull on the lead a lot, but we have done quite a bit of work together and he is much calmer now. I’ve also had the pleasure of caring for the sweetest 11 year old Miniature Schnauzer on several occasions for a few days at a time, making lots of time for snuggles but also taking her down to the beach where she loves to explore. I’ve also housesat for friends and family, looking after their cats while they were on holiday. My friend’s cats were quite nervous so I was happy to take their lead on how close I got. While they were wary to begin with, they would happily sit with me and let me stroke them by the end of the week. My friends have asked me to catsit again this September. All in all, the fact that owners have trusted me to look after their pets for long periods of time and on more than one occasion shows that I am reliable and will care for your pet like they are my own, with the utmost love, care and attention. The owners have also appreciated the regular updates and pictures I send and I will always make sure to do the same for you. I work from home four days a week and can be flexible on location so am happy to come to yours or look after your pet at my house. I’m available during the week and at weekends for quick drop ins, a full day or for boarding, from one night to several weeks at a time if required. I have a large, enclosed garden for your pet to have a good run around if needed. There are also lots of good walks nearby, including a park and the beach is nearby. I live alone and don’t have any pets or children, so can provide a calm, secure space. About: I am an experienced dog owner and have always loved dogs since I was small. I have two black labradors who we absolutely adore. My oldest dog is 6 and the youngest is 2. All members of my family own a dog so we are always dog sitting while they are away so we are experts with many breeds. My dogs are very relaxed and welcome any dog in their home. They are also very good company and playmates if that’s what your dog needs. On the other hand, because of their nature, if your does not want to interact with them, they will leave them alone - that’s just labradors for you. I have always hated the thought of having to put my doggies in kennels when we go away and we never do luckily and have used dogbuddy to help us in the past. We would provide a home away from home as I understand how important it is for your doggy to feel looked after and cared for while you are away and to also give you peace of mind to relax and not worry. We have a lovely house right opposite a very popular dog walking park in Swansea that is very close to Swansea Bay so rest assured your dogs would well walked (or ran if they preferred). I only work two days a week and my husband is here with our dogs on those days anyway so there is always someone with your dog. We are a very fit family and love nothing better than to walk so rest assured, your dog will be very content. About: I’ve had dogs ranging from miniature dachshunds to labradors since I was a baby and in the past year I have been looking after many dogs with my housemate through rover so I am very familiar with the service. I have experience in training puppies as well as caring for medicated older dogs. I have my own car and so love to take the dogs for nice long walks and to beaches too. About: I started my journey on rover while I was in university in 2022, and having furry companions made my uni experience so much better. I now work from home in Abercrave, but still have plenty of time to care for new pups! I’m based in Abercrave and work full time from home, so am very flexible and would love to look after your four legged friends! I love nature and walking, so your dogs will always get plenty of exercise with me if they need it. I’ve had experience with dogs of all shapes and sizes, and love every one of them! I’m well equipped to deal with bigger, more high maintenance dogs due managing my own reactive GSD. Sadly, we lost my dog Oatie very recently to cancer. I used to love to explore with him, so know plenty of local spots. He was a very challenging dog, who could be reactive at times, leaving me with plenty of experience with dogs that can be tricky to handle, especially around strangers or other dogs. If you choose boarding, we have a lovely big & secure garden, with ample space for your dog(s) to explore. They will usually sleep in my room with me, but this is of course circumstantial on your pets needs.
