I’d love to meet your dog and give them the best possible time while you’re away. I have experience caring for dogs of all ages - from cheeky, energetic puppies to senior dogs who need regular medical care and a gentler pace. I’m comfortable with all sizes and breeds, having looked after everything from miniature schnauzers and chihuahuas to retrievers and german shepherds. I live alone with my own dog, Serpico - a friendly 3 year old lurcher cross, who loves playing and socialising with other dogs - so your doggo will always have great company. We follow a consistent routine with morning and evening walks, including time for off-leash runs, but I’m always happy to adapt to suit your dog’s individual needs. As a dog owner myself, I completely understand how it feels to leave your pet in someone else’s care. That’s why I’ll always provide regular updates and photos, so you can feel reassured and relaxed while you’re away. I currently work from home on Mondays and Fridays and will only offer boarding on these days as well as weekends. Which means I have plenty of time to dedicate to your doggo. I usually go for a morning walk with my doggo at either the beach or park, providing space for a good run around. Followed up with a chilled evening walk to wind down. We’re happy to change up our schedule to meet your dog’s needs. I have a fenced garden and a dog of my own, who will act as a sociable playmate. I would love to meet up with you and your dog before boarding to make sure a connection is made with your doggo and that they feel comfortable staying at our home.

The key things that we valued being devoted dog owners were: He isn’t precious about his home. The dogs were allowed on the sofa and constantly given cuddles on his lap. He got to know my boys really well. He is very into reading dog behaviour and when he messaged ( he did this very regularly with pics) he chatted about their little quirks and mannerisms which made me realised that making them happy was important to him. He really got to know them well. Kingsley is a gentle soul and dogs definitely pick this up and relate to him. I shall always use him in future. In fact, any holidays will be booked around his availability in future! I can recommend him enough!”

About: I have had pets from a very young age, hand reared puppies & current animal slave to my small one eyed shih tzu Betsie. She is a senior girl at 12 years old, so I have first hand experience of senior dogs, meaning administering medication etc is not an issue. Puppies, younger dogs are also welcome as Betsie still has energy for playtime. We can provide a loving home from home & pets are allowed on sofas and beds if that’s their thing (it’s certainly Betsie’s!!) I will also provide a safe, fun and loving environment whilst your pet is in my care. 🐾 nothing is too much - just ask 🐾 Currently available 7 days a week, 24/7. We would love for your pet to join us on our adventures or just chill if that’s more their thing. I have a large tiered garden, which is fenced off and a padlock on the gate. About: I’ve grown up on a farm with weimaraners so am comfortable with big dogs and long walks. I’m comfortable around cats and rabbits also as I’ve also grown up with them. I have previously done lunchtime drop-ins and done home boarding and am happy to do either. I’m respectful, reliable and flexible, and have access to my own car so can travel within reason. I am currently in between returning from travelling and getting a full time job so have maximum availability and am available at short notice any day of the week. I have a fence off garden which has been purposely maintained for over 20 years to keep animals from escaping. Living on a farm means the safety of the animals and keeping them within the property has always been a priority.

About: I have looked after cats for friends and family for a number of years. All of them have very different personalities and varying levels of tolerance for humans so I take their lead on how much interaction they want. My mum’s cat can be quite aggressive if touched when she doesn’t want to be. However, when sitting on the sofa she will be happy to come and sit on my lap for a snuggle. Last year I looked after my friend’s two cats for a week at her house, while she was on holiday. They are quite anxious cats and were initially quite wary of me but I made time to play with them and by the end of the week they were happy to sit near me and let me stroke them. I made sure to keep my friend regularly updated throughout the week, which she appreciated. She has asked me to look after them again this year, and said it really put her mind at rest to know they were so well looked after while she was away.

About: Hi I’m Jacob - I’m a masters student and athlete, who is very passionate and experienced with dogs. About: I’ve looked after several dogs and cats in the last few years of varying ages and sizes, both at my home and the owner’s. Most recently, I sat for a very cute Lurcher puppy at his home three days a week, for four months last summer, helping to toilet and crate train him, and playing with him throughout the day while ensuring he got enough rest. I have looked after him on the odd occasion since and he is always very excited to see me. I have also looked after an 11 year old Dalmatian on three different occasions for 3-6 weeks at a time and we have formed a close bond. He feels comfortable in my home and needs quite a lot exercise so we enjoy lots of long walks together. When I first looked after him he could be quite reactive and would pull on the lead a lot, but we have done quite a bit of work together and he is much calmer now. I’ve also had the pleasure of caring for the sweetest 11 year old Miniature Schnauzer on several occasions for a few days at a time, making lots of time for snuggles but also taking her down to the beach where she loves to explore. I’ve also housesat for friends and family, looking after their cats while they were on holiday. My friend’s cats were quite nervous so I was happy to take their lead on how close I got. While they were wary to begin with, they would happily sit with me and let me stroke them by the end of the week. My friends have asked me to catsit again this September. All in all, the fact that owners have trusted me to look after their pets for long periods of time and on more than one occasion shows that I am reliable and will care for your pet like they are my own, with the utmost love, care and attention. The owners have also appreciated the regular updates and pictures I send and I will always make sure to do the same for you. I work from home four days a week and can be flexible on location so am happy to come to yours or look after your pet at my house. About: I’ve looked after several dogs and cats in the last few years of varying ages and sizes, both at my home and the owner’s. Most recently, I sat for a very cute Lurcher puppy at his home three days a week, for four months last summer, helping to toilet and crate train him, and playing with him throughout the day while ensuring he got enough rest. I have looked after him on the odd occasion since and he is always very excited to see me. I have also looked after an 11 year old Dalmatian on three different occasions for 3-6 weeks at a time and we have formed a close bond. He feels comfortable in my home and needs quite a lot exercise so we enjoy lots of long walks together. When I first looked after him he could be quite reactive and would pull on the lead a lot, but we have done quite a bit of work together and he is much calmer now. I’ve also had the pleasure of caring for the sweetest 11 year old Miniature Schnauzer on several occasions for a few days at a time, making lots of time for snuggles but also taking her down to the beach where she loves to explore. I’ve also housesat for friends and family, looking after their cats while they were on holiday. My friend’s cats were quite nervous so I was happy to take their lead on how close I got. While they were wary to begin with, they would happily sit with me and let me stroke them by the end of the week. My friends have asked me to catsit again this September. All in all, the fact that owners have trusted me to look after their pets for long periods of time and on more than one occasion shows that I am reliable and will care for your pet like they are my own, with the utmost love, care and attention. The owners have also appreciated the regular updates and pictures I send and I will always make sure to do the same for you. I work from home four days a week and can be flexible on location so am happy to come to yours or look after your pet at my house. I’m available during the week and at weekends for quick drop ins, a full day or for boarding, from one night to several weeks at a time if required. I have a large, enclosed garden for your pet to have a good run around if needed. There are also lots of good walks nearby, including a park and the beach is nearby. I live alone and don’t have any pets or children, so can provide a calm, secure space. About: I am an experienced dog owner and have always loved dogs since I was small. I have two black labradors who we absolutely adore. My oldest dog is 6 and the youngest is 2. All members of my family own a dog so we are always dog sitting while they are away so we are experts with many breeds. My dogs are very relaxed and welcome any dog in their home. They are also very good company and playmates if that’s what your dog needs. On the other hand, because of their nature, if your does not want to interact with them, they will leave them alone - that’s just labradors for you. I have always hated the thought of having to put my doggies in kennels when we go away and we never do luckily and have used dogbuddy to help us in the past. We would provide a home away from home as I understand how important it is for your doggy to feel looked after and cared for while you are away and to also give you peace of mind to relax and not worry. We have a lovely house right opposite a very popular dog walking park in Swansea that is very close to Swansea Bay so rest assured your dogs would well walked (or ran if they preferred). I only work two days a week and my husband is here with our dogs on those days anyway so there is always someone with your dog. We are a very fit family and love nothing better than to walk so rest assured, your dog will be very content. For the past 6 years, we’ve had a dog of our own and understand the love, care, attention, and routine that dogs need to be happy and comfortable. Over the years, we’ve also regularly cared for dogs belonging to family and friends while they were away, giving us experience with different breeds, personalities, and needs. We’ve always enjoyed looking after dogs and have been encouraged by friends and family to share our experience with others through Rover. We’re now excited to take the leap and offer a safe, caring, and loving environment for your dog. Whether it’s walks, drop-in visits, or overnight stays, we’ll treat your dog as if they were our own, ensuring they receive plenty of attention, exercise, and affection while you’re away. Safety, Trust & Environment Your dog’s safety and comfort are our top priorities. We live in a spacious four-bedroom home with plenty of room for dogs to relax, play, and feel at home. Our property benefits from a gated driveway at the front and a fully fenced and secure garden at the rear, providing a safe outdoor space for supervised play and exercise. We maintain a clean, dog-friendly environment and always ensure dogs are secure and well cared for during their stay. We understand that every dog is different, so we’ll take the time to learn about their routine, preferences, and any specific needs to help them feel comfortable and settled while they’re with us.
About: I’ve grown up on a farm with weimaraners so am comfortable with big dogs and long walks. I’m comfortable around cats and rabbits also as I’ve also grown up with them. I have previously done lunchtime drop-ins and done home boarding and am happy to do either. I’m respectful, reliable and flexible, and have access to my own car so can travel within reason. I am currently in between returning from travelling and getting a full time job so have maximum availability and am available at short notice any day of the week. I have a fence off garden which has been purposely maintained for over 20 years to keep animals from escaping. Living on a farm means the safety of the animals and keeping them within the property has always been a priority.
