Our little dog Chewy was very excited to see Evie again. Evie takes wonderful care of Chewy and we will most certainly ask her to look after Chewy again.

About: What sets me apart as a sitter is the level of care, patience, and attention I give to every pet as if they were my own. I have experience with puppies, including basic training reinforcement (potty training, leash manners, crate routines), and I understand how important consistency is for young dogs. I’m also comfortable providing senior pet care, including administering medications, supporting mobility needs, and giving extra love and calm attention. I pay close attention to each pet’s personality and routine, making sure they feel safe, happy, and stress-free while you’re away. I’m reliable, communicative, and always keep owners updated with photos and messages for peace of mind. Whether your pet needs high energy playtime, gentle care, or structured routines, I tailor my care to fit their needs. I’m a full time student so I’ll have a lot of time to take care of your pets. My schedule is very flexible so I’ll be able to accommodate to your schedule. Pop me a message for a free meet and greet :) I'm dependable and respectful of pet owners specifications for care, and their property. I treat every pet with the compassion, attention and care that they deserve.

About: I’ve spent a lot of time caring for animals, I’m patient, intuitive, and genuinely enjoy taking the time to build trust with each dog at their own pace. I love being outdoors with them and creating a calm, safe environment where they can feel secure. I really value the innocence, gentleness, and sense of play they bring into life. They’ve taught me a lot about presence, patience, and finding happiness in simple moments. I’m open to caring for both dogs and cats. For everyone’s safety and comfort, I don’t mix them during care. I’m happy to adapt to whatever your pet needs, whether that’s long walks, playtime, quiet companionship, or gentle care at home. I take the time to understand each animal as an individual and what helps them feel happiest and most at ease. I understand the importance of respecting their boundaries, especially if they have trauma. I have experience caring for rescue dogs and genuinely love creating a safe space they ve always deserved. Please let me know if there is anything I need to know about your pets, in terms of special needs or behaviour. Are their recalls good? Can they be off lead? There isnt anywhere they wont be allowed in my flat they are free to roam as they please, when I am caring for animals if they are well enough and enjoy being out I tend to spend most the day outside with them. Feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions :) I work for myself from home. I don't have a rigid structure to my weeks so drop me a msg and see if I am available for the dates you need a sitter. I am willing to do anything that makes your dog happy and feel safe. Whether that is a long walk,a cuddle, play dates with other dogs. I would get to know your dog and see what works best for them.

I’m also confident following detailed care instructions, including feeding schedules, administering oral medication if required, and adapting walks and activities to suit each dog’s energy level and individual needs. I know how important it is to have peace of mind when leaving your pet with someone else, so I always provide dependable care, regular updates, and photos so you can see how they’re getting on. About: Animals have always been at the center of my life — both dogs and cats are family to me, not just pets. Caring for them isn’t something I switch off from; it’s simply who I am. Every time I go on holiday, I make sure I’m prepared — I’ve even carried a 6kg bag of animal food in my rucksack while hiking up mountains, just to ensure animals are fed and cared for (with photos to prove it). I share my life with my own cat and understand feline behavior deeply, from quiet communication to respecting boundaries. I’ve trained my cat using positive reinforcement, including recall, sit, paw, high five, and spin. I also have years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all sizes, ages, and energy levels, always with patience, structure, and love. I currently volunteer at Llys Nini Cattery, where I’m surrounded by cats daily and care for a wide range of personalities — from shy and nervous to confident and playful. Every animal I look after receives the same devotion, respect, and attention I give my own. Special Skills • 🐾 Experienced with both dogs and cats • 🧠 Strong understanding of animal body language & behavior • 🐕 Excellent recall and basic training support • 🐈 Positive-reinforcement training for cats and dogs • 💖 Especially good with anxious, shy, or rescue animals • 🧘 Calm, reassuring presence that helps animals feel safe • 💊 Comfortable with basic medication administration • 🧼 Attentive to routine, hygiene, and enrichment • 📸 Regular updates and photos for peace of mind Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I currently volunteer at Llys Nini and am not working, as I’m focusing on pursuing my passion for animal care. This gives me a very flexible schedule, allowing me to provide attentive, unrushed care and adapt fully to each pet’s needs. I care for pets both at my home and at the owner’s house, depending on what works best for them. My home has a large, fully walled garden, giving dogs plenty of space to run, play, and explore safely. I provide structured walks, playtime, and mental stimulation, as well as a calm environment for pets to relax. At an owner’s home, I follow their routines closely — feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any special needs or medications — to ensure pets feel safe and comfortable in their own environment. I also make sure pets have plenty of attention, affection, and supervision, whether inside or outside, and I always keep their space clean, safe, and enriched so they feel happy, secure, and loved.

About: I have had dogs my whole life and absolutely adore them. I am currently away at uni so separated from my own pooch and rather than going without doggy company I would love to pamper someone elses. There is nothing better than going to the beach with your dog! As I have had experience with a variety of dogs including rescues and older and younger dogs I am confident walking them all. As I know how important our four-legged friends are I would make sure to meet and discuss your dogs needs beforehand and send regular updates while I'm with them. I am currently a full time university student studying a healthcare course so I have weekends and evenings free and am flexible during the week. I would ensure I am aware of what the dog is doing and where they are at all times and follow any instructions/special requirements provided. I also walk regularly around the parks in Swansea and around the Gower so I am familiar with the area.

Thank you so much to Alicja! You were everything we could have wished for Bindi. Leaving an elderly cat who has been in your family for years can be distressing when family members aren’t available to take care of her. You put our mind at ease with your visit to us before the stay and bindi was delighted when we got home, not in a mood as per usual. Thank you for the wonderful photos and updates twice daily and the amount of attention you gave her was brilliant. We will 100% be asking you to look after her again in the future! Thanks once again for putting our minds at ease and giving bindi a sense of security when we were away. 100% recommend Alicja for cat/dog sitting.

We feel so lucky to have found Yueyue to look after Bingun! From the moment we met her, we knew he would be in great hands. Yueyue visited Bingun at home while we were away and treated him with so much care and kindness. She kept us updated after every visit with photos and messages, which we always looked forward to and really helped us relax knowing he was happy and well looked after. It was obvious how much Yueyue genuinely cared about Bingun, and that meant a lot to us. When we got home, he was happy, relaxed, and clearly had been given plenty of love and attention. Thank you so much, Yueyue, for taking such wonderful care of Bingun. We truly appreciate everything you did and wouldn’t hesitate to book with you again. We highly recommend Yueyue to anyone looking for someone who will care for their pet as if it were their own!

If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s booking protection means Rover Support will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
