About: What sets me apart as a sitter is the level of care, patience, and attention I give to every pet as if they were my own. I have experience with puppies, including basic training reinforcement (potty training, leash manners, crate routines), and I understand how important consistency is for young dogs. I’m also comfortable providing senior pet care, including administering medications, supporting mobility needs, and giving extra love and calm attention. I pay close attention to each pet’s personality and routine, making sure they feel safe, happy, and stress-free while you’re away. I’m reliable, communicative, and always keep owners updated with photos and messages for peace of mind. Whether your pet needs high energy playtime, gentle care, or structured routines, I tailor my care to fit their needs. I’m a full time student so I’ll have a lot of time to take care of your pets. My schedule is very flexible so I’ll be able to accommodate to your schedule. Pop me a message for a free meet and greet :) I'm dependable and respectful of pet owners specifications for care, and their property. I treat every pet with the compassion, attention and care that they deserve.
About: I’m patient, intuitive, and genuinely enjoy taking the time to build trust with each dog at their own pace. I really value the innocence, gentleness, and sense of play they bring into life. I’m open to caring for both dogs and cats. For everyone’s safety and comfort, I don’t mix them during care. I’m happy to adapt to whatever your pet needs, whether that’s long walks, playtime, quiet companionship, or gentle care at home. I take the time to understand each animal as an individual and what helps them feel happiest and most at ease. I have experience caring for rescue dogs and genuinely love creating a safe space they ve always deserved. IMPORTANT-Please let me know if there is anything I need to know about your pets, in terms of special needs or behaviour. Are their recalls good? Can they be off lead? How are they with other dogs? Any Queues i need to look out for? Please note I am a pet sitter not a trainer, do not request if your dog can not respond to their name or aggressive. I work for myself from home. I don't have a rigid structure to my weeks so drop me a msg and see if I am available for the dates you need a sitter. I am willing to do anything that makes your dog happy and feel safe. Whether that is a long walk,a cuddle, play dates with other dogs. I would get to know your dog and see what works best for them.

About: I enjoy being outdoors and regularly explore the beautiful beaches of Swansea - perfect for keeping your dog happy, active, and engaged. I’d love to meet your dog and give them the best possible time while you’re away. I have experience caring for dogs of all ages - from cheeky, energetic puppies to senior dogs who need regular medical care and a gentler pace. I’m comfortable with all sizes and breeds, having looked after everything from miniature schnauzers and chihuahuas to retrievers and german shepherds. I live alone with my own dog, Serpico - a friendly 3 year old lurcher cross, who loves playing and socialising with other dogs - so your doggo will always have great company. We follow a consistent routine with morning and evening walks, including time for off-leash runs, but I’m always happy to adapt to suit your dog’s individual needs. As a dog owner myself, I completely understand how it feels to leave your pet in someone else’s care. That’s why I’ll always provide regular updates and photos, so you can feel reassured and relaxed while you’re away. I currently work from home on Mondays and Fridays and will only offer boarding on these days as well as weekends. Which means I have plenty of time to dedicate to your doggo. I usually go for a morning walk with my doggo at either the beach or park, providing space for a good run around. Followed up with a chilled evening walk to wind down. We’re happy to change up our schedule to meet your dog’s needs. I have a fenced garden and a dog of my own, who will act as a sociable playmate. I would love to meet up with you and your dog before boarding to make sure a connection is made with your doggo and that they feel comfortable staying at our home.
“Evie took great care of our little dog Chewy. She sent me a lovely update on how it went. We came home to a happy and relaxed dog. We will definitely ask Evie to look after Chewy again.”

About: I’ve had dogs ranging from miniature dachshunds to labradors since I was a baby and in the past year I have been looking after many dogs with my housemate through rover so I am very familiar with the service. I have experience in training puppies as well as caring for medicated older dogs. I have my own car and so love to take the dogs for nice long walks and to beaches too. I am a university student but I have currently finished for the summer so I have lots of free time to show your pets a lot of love. I already go on a lot of walks and beach days and so would love to include dogs to this. I am more than happy to have dogs on furniture and in beds so they can stay comfortable in their routine if that’s how they sleep at home. But I do also have crate training experience in order to keep your dog in their own routine. I have lots of experience with both cuddly, calm dogs and high energy playful dogs so I am happy to meet the needs of any dog.
“Lucy was absolutely amazing with my cats ! Detailed reports every day and lovely photos! And also by the end of the week made friends with Viv - which is a big achievement! Thank you so much for taking care of my babies, will definitely ask Lucy again when going away next time !”

About: I have had dogs my whole life and absolutely adore them. I am currently away at uni so separated from my own pooch and rather than going without doggy company I would love to pamper someone elses. There is nothing better than going to the beach with your dog! As I have had experience with a variety of dogs including rescues and older and younger dogs I am confident walking them all. As I know how important our four-legged friends are I would make sure to meet and discuss your dogs needs beforehand and send regular updates while I'm with them. I would ensure I am aware of what the dog is doing and where they are at all times and follow any instructions/special requirements provided. I also walk regularly around the parks in Swansea and around the Gower so I am familiar with the area.

“Sophie was a pleasure to deal with. Our Bulldog Frank had recently had surgery and he had special dietary needs which Sophie adhered to consistently over the week for which she provided timely drop-in visits. It was lovely to receive her photo updates whilst we were away, and she was attentive in responding on the messenger system. Couldnt have asked for more. 5 stars.”

We feel so lucky to have found Yueyue to look after Bingun! From the moment we met her, we knew he would be in great hands. Yueyue visited Bingun at home while we were away and treated him with so much care and kindness. She kept us updated after every visit with photos and messages, which we always looked forward to and really helped us relax knowing he was happy and well looked after. It was obvious how much Yueyue genuinely cared about Bingun, and that meant a lot to us. When we got home, he was happy, relaxed, and clearly had been given plenty of love and attention. Thank you so much, Yueyue, for taking such wonderful care of Bingun. We truly appreciate everything you did and wouldn’t hesitate to book with you again. We highly recommend Yueyue to anyone looking for someone who will care for their pet as if it were their own!

During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
