Your pet’s safety is my top priority. As a dog owner myself, I understand how precious they are. I have a secure home with everything necessary for them!
“Courtney did a drop-in for us. She came to meet us beforehand and sent lots of pics showing a very happy Alfie while she was here. Would definitely ask Courtney if she is available on future occasions.”

“Great communication throughout the drop in visits and I felt very comfortable in trusting my dog Gypsy with Siobhan. She is very kind and thoughtful, I would recommend Siobhan to other dog owners. Thank you.”

About: - Experience with multiple dogs and cats (3 dogs + 1 cat in my family) - Familiar with daily routines: feeding, walking, basic grooming - Experienced with long-term care (my pets lived up to 18 years) - Comfortable handling both small and large dogs - Able to follow detailed care instructions from owners I take this job as a part-time job. After May, as a graduate student at the University of Bath, I no longer have classes. So I hope to find a part-time job to support my living expenses in the UK. I can be available at any time during the day when you need me. But sometimes I will travel outside and need to confirm the time with me three days in advance. But most of the time, I am in Bath, UK. In China, I have three dogs and one cat. Usually, I take my dogs for walks in the morning, at noon, and in the evening. This is because over the past few years, I have been reading a lot, so I have plenty of time to take them for walks. I also pay close attention to their diet and avoid giving them anything they can't eat. I spend one to two hours playing with the cats every day, and the rest of the time I can be by their side, which is the ideal situation.
About: I’ve always had a deep love for animals, and caring for pets has been a big part of my life for as long as I can remember. I currently have a corgi back home who has taught me so much about patience, consistency, and the importance of daily exercise and mental stimulation. Being a corgi parent has given me firsthand experience with high-energy dogs who need structure, engagement, and lots of affection. Beyond my own dog, I’ve cared for dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities. I’m comfortable with feeding routines, daily walks, playtime, crate training, basic obedience reinforcement, and providing plenty of companionship. I’ve also handled medication administration and special instructions for pets who need a little extra attention. I’m reliable, attentive, and always communicative. I love keeping pet parents updated with photos and messages so they feel connected and at ease while they’re away. My goal is to help every pet feel safe, happy, and loved, just like my corgi does at home. I truly treat every pet as if they were my own, and I look forward to giving your furry family member the same level of care. I'm currently studying a Masters in Clinical Psychology where I only have classes 2 times a week, which are on Mondays and Thursdays. I'm free to take your dog for a walk and care for it besides these 2 days. I'll be happy to do it on a weekly basis too. Respect for your home: I treat your space with care, keeping things clean and secure, and following your household rules. Maintain the pet’s routine: I stick closely to your instructions regarding feeding, walks, play, medications, and bedtime routines to keep your pet comfortable. Home security: I make sure doors and windows are locked, lights are adjusted as instructed, and your home looks lived-in while you’re away. Daily updates: I send photo/video updates each visit or day, including notes on eating, behavior, bathroom breaks, and anything unusual. Medication & special care: I am comfortable following detailed care plans, administering medications (if applicable), and monitoring pets with special needs. ❤️ My Approach Above all, I focus on building trust—with both you and your pet. I move at the animal’s pace, use positive reinforcement, and create a calm, safe environment where they can relax while you're away. Every pet is treated as if they were my own.

About: Hiya! I’m Madi, a 21 year old second year university student studying Biology 🪴, with a hope to pursue veterinary medicine! I provide friendly and reliable dog walking, home visits, and house sitting. Whether your dog needs a fun walk, a quick pop-in for feeding and cuddles, or someone to stay overnight, I’ll make sure they’re safe, happy, and well cared for. I have plenty of experience with pets of all ages and personalities, and I treat every animal as if they were my own. I’m patient, attentive, and committed to following your pets’ routine so they feel comfortable and secure while you’re away. I offer tailored care for puppies, seniors, and pets with special needs, and I’m always happy to provide extra playtime, cuddles, or attention as needed. You can relax knowing your pets are getting the love and companionship they deserve. Pet care is a natural part of my daily life — I’ve grown up around animals and still spend time with pets every day. Caring for them fits easily into my weekly routine because it’s something I genuinely enjoy and prioritise. I make time for regular walks, play, and companionship, and to fit in feeding schedules, toilet breaks, and special routines. Whether it’s a quick daily visit, a long walk, or overnight care, I will adjust my routine to make sure pets always get the attention and consistency they need. 🩷 In a pet owner’s home, I follow the pet’s usual routine as closely as possible — from feeding times and walks to play, cuddles, and rest. I make sure their environment stays safe, clean, and comfortable, and I keep them company so they feel secure while their family is away. If I’m house sitting, I also take care of the home itself by keeping it tidy, watering plants, and ensuring everything is left just as you’d expect. My goal is always to provide loving, reliable care so pets stay happy in their familiar surroundings and owners have complete peace of mind.

About: I absolutely adore animals, and treat all the pets I care for with the same love, patience and respect as I would with my own💕 I’m a professionally trained dog walker and sitter based in central Bath. I currently work part-time for a pet care company where I walk a wide range of dogs, from anxious rescues to excitable adolescents and calm older dogs. In addition to my professional dog walking and pet sitting experience, I’ve also grown up with dogs and have years of experience caring for family and friends’ pets. I’ve trained in reactivity, canine body language, enrichment-based care and positive reinforcement. I’m confident handling a wide range of temperaments and energy levels, and I always take a calm, thoughtful approach to helping dogs feel safe, understood and relaxed. I’m available most Fridays to Mondays for walks, drop-ins and house sitting in and around Bath. I work part-time at a pet care company walking dogs Tuesday to Thursday, but I’ll always do my best to accommodate other days if I can, feel free to message and ask! Your dog’s wellbeing is my top priority, and I always adapt my care to their individual needs. I always use gentle handling, and I never force a dog into situations they’re uncomfortable with. I’m confident managing reactivity, big emotions and lead handling, and I’m fully equipped with leads, long lines and treats. When caring for dogs in your home, I always respect your space and stick to the routines and house rules your dog is used to. I’ll keep in touch with regular updates and make sure you feel totally at ease while you’re away.
About: I have grown up with dogs and now have my very own called Monty. He is treated like the prince he is and your dog would be treated like royalty too. Monty is a very sociable dog who loves playing with other dogs! Although, he can be timid around humans so I have experience with shy pups. We live in Bath and are surrounded by National Trust sites that are very dog friendly so we tend to go on long walks daily. I am currently focusing on dog walking/sitting at the weekends for now to see how it goes. I am happy for any size or breed of dog. If you have any questions, please pop me over a message and I’d love to have a chat.
“I can’t reccomend Laura enough. She is wonderful with the animals, looks after the property perfectly and is kind and generous too. Complete peace of mind to book her whenever we’re away and to come home to happy, healthy cats. Thanks Laura!”

“We were pretty nervous as we had to leave our 4 month puppy for several hours on his own yesterday. Pippa was a fantastic solution, she looked after him, made sure he ate and peed and tired him out with play so that he was happy to go back to sleep in his crate. The pictures show that she got a big lick on the face for her trouble. I would thoroughly recommend her.”

About: We are a friendly couple living in Fairfield park, a 30 min walk to bath city center. We also have a gorgeous little puppy of our own named Pici! We have a secure garden and we are a 10 min walk away from the gorgeous fields of Charlcombe nature reserve. I work from home full time, and our lovely little puppy loves to play with other dogs. We are open mostly for older, calmer dogs (who Pici can learn from!) rather than energetic puppies. Jimmy and I have years of experience with dogs, having both sat regularly via the Trusted House Sitters platform prior to getting our own dog. Walks prior to work (starting around 9am), lunchtime (12-1) or in the evening (530 onwards) all suite my schedule. I work from home full time. I have experience with trusted house sitters, with over 5 5* reviews of house sits in England & New Zealand. We also have our own puppy, so we have lots of enrichment games and toys.
About: I’m experienced with basic commands, and helping puppies get used to routines. I’ve cared for older pets who require gentle handling, medication administration, and extra comfort and patience. I would structure my day around feeding, walking, playtime, and companionship to match each pet’s needs. Whether in my home or the pet owner’s, I prioritize safety by pet-proofing spaces, following care instructions precisely, and maintaining a calm, secure environment. I build trust through consistent routines, gentle handling, and plenty of positive attention. In my home, pets have access to clean, cozy areas, outdoor time (if appropriate), and a low-stress atmosphere. In a client’s home, I respect their space while ensuring their pet feels loved, safe, and well cared for in their familiar environment. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or the pet owner’s home, my focus is always on providing a safe, comfortable, and loving environment tailored to each animal’s routine and personality. In my home, pets have a quiet, secure space with access to cozy bedding, toys, and regular outdoor breaks (if applicable). I maintain a clean, pet-friendly environment with minimal hazards, and I supervise all activity closely. I follow any dietary, medical, or behavioral instructions precisely and ensure pets feel at ease through gentle interaction and a predictable schedule. In a pet owner’s home, I respect their space while keeping pets on their usual routine. I stick to their established feeding, walking, and play schedules and maintain communication to offer peace of mind. I also keep the home tidy, bring in mail or packages if requested, and go above and beyond to make sure both the pet and the owner feel completely at ease during the stay.
“Ashleigh was great looking after our Cat Cashew while we were away, kept me updated and even offered to go in an extra day to check on him when he was being fussy! Thanks Ashleigh!”

About: I looked after a 3 month old puppy in my own home for several weeks while her family were abroad, this included beach trips, train rides etc. Have also had several house sitting jobs while studying at Uni, looking after people’s dogs. As a recent graduate I have tons of free time while I find a long term career. Job searching is a mostly online process so can do this from home while keeping your pet company. I’m also a very active person who loves long walks so your dog would get lots of exercise! When in your home I tend to spend all of my time with your pet, playing with them as much as they’ll let me! And on walks I will rarely take a dog off the lead- only if it’s been made very clear by owners that they have amazing recall with anyone. I also won’t let your dog into the garden without constant supervision.
“Sarah's visit to meet us today left me in no doubt that our puppy Ina will be in very safe hands when we need a sitter. Ina took to Sarah straightaway as did we! She is extremely professional, with a lovely, warm, and caring manner. She made us feel extremely confident that she knows her stuff with dogcare, and will give Ina the individual attention she needs.”

About: I have been an animal lover as long as I can remember. I worked in a boarding kennel for 3 years in my late teens/early 20's and can manage most dogs and cats (even the snarky ones). I raised an abandoned Canada goose, several cats, a few ferrets and a canary so have extensive experience with many different types of pets. I now have my own companion, Dakota, who I waited 25 years until the work/family/home situation was right to own a dog responsibly. She has been a dream come true and has completed a long held desire for a Pembroke corgi. I have done all of Dakota's training and she is a good example of how clever corgi's can be (and also how stubborn). I currently work from home with one or two days travelling to site in Wales or Aylesbury. I can work from your location with good wi-fi. Animals are my passion and I would look after yours like they were my own. I have access to some wonderful fields for walking and a very friendly corgi to keep your fur-baby company. I can easily crate a small to medium sized dog if needed. I would look after your pets as if they were my own with lots of care and attention.

Dog owners share their Rover experiences - Bath
Absolute Star - Cat did a phenomenal job with Louis, responding with great care and efficiency when Louis became unwell with a tummy upset during his time with her. She looked after him as if he was her own beloved and I cannot recommend her highly enough. There aren’t enough stars available to capture the full extent of our gratitude and now, happily, Louis is fully recovered and I think he can’t wait to see Cat again so he can thank her

Courtney was great. Our Golden Retriever puppy of three months absolutely loved her and was very happy when we got back. Looked liked she played with him non stop! She sent a picture to let us know all was ok half way through the four hours which was a lovely touch. She dog sat at short notice, popped over even beforehand to meet the pup, and her communication was excellent. I highly recommend Courtney for any and all dog services she offers. Will be using regularly ✨

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
