I’ve grown up loving animals and in a household full of cats. My family was even specialized in breeding rabbits, guinea pigs, ducks, geese and chicks! I had a lovely Yorkshire terrier, Meggie, for 16 amazing years until 3 years ago. I also regularly dog sit for some of my closest friends on a semi regular basis, so I am used to different types of dogs and needs. I go on walks with them, feed them and play with them. I am comfortable with any special instructions you might have for your loved pet. I have also done long stay house sitting for families with feline members. And I am currently regularly taking care of two kittens for one of my friends as well. I am currently taking a gap year to concentrate on renovating my bungalow, so any animal company is more than a welcome distraction. The main bulk has now been done, so there is nothing dangerous for a pet that would need to stay here. I will make them feel right at home!

James took great care with both of our big dogs. We would use him again if we are in the area.
James has looked after my cats for the past year. For pop in visits for feeding, playing etc. and also staying over for longer periods of time for holiday cover when I am away. And taking to the vets. The cats adore him and I know they are in safe hands. He has a very natural caring way and is also very professional. I can highly recommend James :-) 5 stars
James looks after our dog Dash very regularly! His house is lovely and perfect for pets with a huge garden and no stairs - James often comes to our house to look after Dash as well! Dash loves him, he always comes back well exercised and very happy. I couldn’t recommend James higher, he’s very attentive, always punctual and very responsive

Schedule
I’m currently renovating my bungalow, so I can be very flexible and give your pet/s the attention and care they need, as well as have plenty of time for walks and play time.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a large fenced garden, but it is also currently connected to my driveway, so for now I have some long 10m leads. This gives them the freedom to roam and explore the garden, we can play fetch, but we all know they are always safe on the lead and not able to run off for any reason. Whilst renovating, the big bulk of things is currently finished, so there is nothing dangerous around the house that will harm the animals.
A typical day
I love to stimulate your dogs physically and mentally. We’ll play loads of games, go on walks, checking out all the new smells in my local area and explore the park, the cannel or the large field near my house.
