About: I've been caring for cats and dogs for the past 7 years and genuinely love being part of a pet's life. Over the years, I've looked after friends' cats and regularly cared for my parents' dog, giving me experience with different personalities, routines, and care needs. I understand that every pet is unique, and I take the responsibility of caring for someone else's beloved companion very seriously. My goal is always to make pets feel safe, comfortable, and happy while their owners are away. I offer house sitting, dog walking, and drop-in visits throughout Bath and Bristol. You can expect reliable care, regular updates, and plenty of photos so you can have peace of mind while you're away. I look forward to meeting you and your pets and providing the loving, attentive care they deserve! I work from home 3 days of the week so I can easily do house visits during the week - Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays! Whether this may be for playing, feeding or simply giving your little fur baby a little bit of company. I can also take your dog out for a walk during my lunch breaks and play tug of war (the real way to a dog’s heart)! I am also available weekends, I simply want to care for your pet in the best way possible :) As I live in a flat, I won’t be able to take care of your pets in my own home but I am more than happy to do house sits, check ins, and daily walks - whatever works best for you!
“Lesley is great with my cats. She is responsive and punctual. From the photos I can tell they really liked her company. I really appreciate that she took care of them while I was away. Thanks!”

“Absolute Star - Cat did a phenomenal job with Louis, responding with great care and efficiency when Louis became unwell with a tummy upset during his time with her. She looked after him as if he was her own beloved and I cannot recommend her highly enough. There aren’t enough stars available to capture the full extent of our gratitude and now, happily, Louis is fully recovered and I think he can’t wait to see Cat again so he can thank her”

About: I have 5 granddogs, 2 grandcats, 2 grandpigs, 2 goddogs and numerous canine and cat nephews and nieces (not blood of course, they are the furry kids of my friends). They’re family 😁 Usually only available between June and January as I live in Colombia January to May. However do feel free to ask, especially if the dates that you require are close to the limits. If I'm here I can adapt my schedule. I work remotely as a geeky historical writer, so can be pretty much anywhere and what can be better than doing that whilst making new furry friends. I treat them as family, except when the sharing of food is the question. I don’t share food, just like my English goddog, Percy, doesn’t share his bone. With regard to communication - the number listed is now obsolete - my new number is Colombian because I live in Colombia for six months each year - Unfortunately Rover does not have a Colombia option. So best to email me or communicate through Rover.
“Ian did 2 drop-ins for Alfie over the weekend. As always I received notifications of when he started and finished and photos of Alfie having a good time. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.”

“Kenna is fantastic. She makes me feel so at ease leaving our 6 month old puppy. She keeps his routine and implements current training! Her communication is second to none and the pup dates are always an added bonus!”

“Renata has been a dog sitter blessing!! I recently got a 2nd dog who is incredibly nervous yet within minutes he had warmed to her and I felt confident I could leave them overnight in her care. Got home to happy dogs, clean house and great communication throughout X”

About: I’ve both potty trained and behaviour trained a springer spaniel puppy. I have also looked after and cared for elderly dogs and cats, both of which required medication in their food I am currently a student at bath spa university studying geography in the hopes of entering the conversation field post graduation. I have a deep care for animals and nature and have been raised on these values. Outside of term time I live in Switzerland where I look after my 3 year old springer spaniel and 15 year old maine coon cat who has recently been diagnosed with cancer and requires daily medication. Unfortunately i cannot offer pet sitting in my own home as it is a student property, however I am more than happy to pet sit in your home. I will make sure areas are secure, walks are a sufficient length for your pet and try to provide walk both on and off lead depending on location. Food will always be given at the time requested.

About: Hi! I’ve always been an animal lover and grew up surrounded by pets, with the added bonus of learning a lot from my aunt, who’s a vet. Whether it’s a curious cat or an energetic dog, I’m here to make sure your pets are happy, comfortable, and well cared for. I’m a first year university student living in Bath, and I have a flexible schedule to fit around your needs. I’ve looked after pets for family and friends over the years, so I’m comfortable with all kinds of personalities and quirks. My goal is to make sure your pet feels loved and safe while you’re away. While your pet is in my care, I’ll provide regular updates and photos so you can relax knowing they’re in good hands.
“Great communication throughout the drop in visits and I felt very comfortable in trusting my dog Gypsy with Siobhan. She is very kind and thoughtful, I would recommend Siobhan to other dog owners. Thank you.”

About: Hello! I’m originally from South Korea. In case you’re not very familiar with my country, I’d love to share a little about it. South Korea is a place where people truly love their pets. We have pet kindergartens, pet-friendly restaurants, and even cafés that host birthday parties for pets. Because Korea currently has one of the lowest birth rates in the world, pets are often treated like family members. If you visit Korea, you might even see strollers with little dogs inside instead of babies! As for me, my partner and I have a cat called JOJO. Her name comes from a character in a Japanese anime that I love. I hoped she would grow up brave like that character, but it turns out she is actually a very adorable — and very shy — cat. Over the past two years of raising JOJO, we’ve always been responsible for her, making sure she gets her regular vaccines, deworming, and check-ups. So far, she hasn’t had any serious illnesses. She was spayed at eight months old, has excellent behavior, is very confident at home, and doesn’t damage any furniture. When I first started living with JOJO, I realized that having a pet is not always easy. She used to wake me up at four in the morning, sometimes knocking over her water bowl to make noise. Once she even knocked a fish tank onto the floor, which made me worry that she might get hurt. That experience made me start learning more about animal behavior and pet psychology. Over time I learned that every pet has a unique personality. JOJO isn’t very motivated by food, but she loves playing. So now I spend about an hour every day playing with her, and she no longer wakes me up early in the morning. Instead, she quietly waits beside me until I wake up and then happily runs around the house. I’ve been living with JOJO for almost two years now. She has taught me patience and how important it is to respect every animal’s personality. I will take the time to understand your pet’s personality and care for them with the same love and patience I give to JOJO. To me, animals are not just pets — they are companions we grow and share our lives with. I’m also happy to send regular updates and photos so you can feel relaxed while you’re away. If you have a dog, please don’t worry! I’ve been walking friends’ dogs in Korea since middle school. I’ve walked small and medium breeds like Maltese and Teddy dogs, and I know how to make sure they have water and pick up after them. So you can rest assured I can handle that. For large dogs, I might not be able to walk them, but I’m happy to come to your home and spend the day playing with your dog. If you don’t mind a little “disturbance,” I can even send you a hundred photos in one day to keep you relaxed—haha! I’m currently on a legal visa and in the process of job hunting here in the UK. Because I haven't started a full-time role yet, I have a lot of flexibility and would love to hang out with your pets on a daily basis. I’m more than happy to tailor my care to your exact needs. If I’m looking after them at your place, I’d be completely comfortable with you having pet cameras—it’s a great way for you to stay connected and see how we’re getting along! If you don’t have one, no worries at all; I’ll send you plenty of photo and video updates throughout the day. "If you’d prefer to drop them off at my home, I’ll make sure JOJO (my cat) stays settled in our bedroom. This ensures JOJO feels safe while giving your pet plenty of space to roam and relax. I’ll be sure to keep you posted with lots of updates so you can see how much fun they're having!

About: Hiya! I’m Madi, a 21 year old second year university student studying Biology 🪴, with a hope to pursue veterinary medicine! I provide friendly and reliable dog walking, home visits, and house sitting. Whether your dog needs a fun walk, a quick pop-in for feeding and cuddles, or someone to stay overnight, I’ll make sure they’re safe, happy, and well cared for. I have plenty of experience with pets of all ages and personalities, and I treat every animal as if they were my own. I’m patient, attentive, and committed to following your pets’ routine so they feel comfortable and secure while you’re away. I offer tailored care for puppies, seniors, and pets with special needs, and I’m always happy to provide extra playtime, cuddles, or attention as needed. You can relax knowing your pets are getting the love and companionship they deserve. Pet care is a natural part of my daily life — I’ve grown up around animals and still spend time with pets every day. Caring for them fits easily into my weekly routine because it’s something I genuinely enjoy and prioritise. I make time for regular walks, play, and companionship, and to fit in feeding schedules, toilet breaks, and special routines. Whether it’s a quick daily visit, a long walk, or overnight care, I will adjust my routine to make sure pets always get the attention and consistency they need. 🩷 In a pet owner’s home, I follow the pet’s usual routine as closely as possible — from feeding times and walks to play, cuddles, and rest. I make sure their environment stays safe, clean, and comfortable, and I keep them company so they feel secure while their family is away. If I’m house sitting, I also take care of the home itself by keeping it tidy, watering plants, and ensuring everything is left just as you’d expect. My goal is always to provide loving, reliable care so pets stay happy in their familiar surroundings and owners have complete peace of mind.

Many thanks for looking after Tyoma again. I can recommend Felicity to anyone with a cat. I love how reliable Felicity is, daily updates are not generic - these provide enough details I need to feel that my cat is looked after well, pictures are great too. I can truly be sure my cat is in good hands while I am away.

Michelle was absolutely lovely and took great care of Luca, we felt very comfortable knowing she was there. We also appreciated how quickly she responded to us and adapted to our chaotic booking process - thank you Michelle! We will definitely book again when needed :)

We can’t thank you enough, Hayley! It was such a comfort knowing our boys were in your care while we were away. Your regular updates and the lovely photos meant so much to us and really put our minds at ease. It’s clear how much you genuinely care, and we’re incredibly grateful for everything you did. We wouldn’t hesitate for a second to ask you again, thank you so much!

Bryony took very good care of our three cats. She ensured that they were fed and watered and kept us updated on how they were. Bryony is a very friendly and pleasant person to deal with. We would thoroughly recommend her. (And as first time app users we found the system of notifications to be very good).

We couldn’t be happier with the care our cat received! Gianni took care of her for 3 weeks and did an amazing job. Our cat can be quite feisty with strangers, but he was so patient and managed to earn her trust. She has been happy and relaxed. I am always missing her when we are away, but Gianni was sending me loads of pictures ,of Willow everyday and helped me feeling lees sad. The house was left spotless, and our cat was in great condition when we returned. Truly reliable, caring, and professional. I can't recommend,Gianni, highly enough.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
