“Holly was amazing with all the animals and I didn’t have to worry about them at all. She followed all the instructions to a T. I loved that she gave me regular photo updates. I came home and all the animals seemed so happy, even the ones that usually hold a grudge for a few days when I leave! The house and all the animals were cleaned when I came home which was a relief after a long flight! I will definitely be asking Holly to stay next time I go away :)”

“Richard was a perfect choice for drop-in visits for Rascal, particularly with his experience of re-homing stray and rescue cats, as he knows the vagaries of character and the nervous behaviour that can be shown. I felt very assured as soon as I met Richard, that all would be well whilst I was away. It was really nice to see photos of Rascal and to be reassured that he was coping with the change of person administering his daily routine and that all was well. Everything was neat and tidy and cleared away on my return. I would certainly recommend Richard for all pet duties, and I will be booking again in the future.”

“Beth gave us the confidence to leave motsi and ollie for the whole day knowing that she would be popping in to check on them - she sent us photos from each visit and when we got home we were met by two very excited doggies who didn't appear to have worried that we were not there - thank you Beth for giving us peace of mind.”
About: I’ve had pets since I was born basically, I’ve had dogs, cats, hamsters, fish, birds, tortoises, you name it I’ve had it! I’ve currently got 4 cats and living with my sister who owns 2 dogs and I just had a German Shepard that I cared for for 2 years until I moved back to Wiltshire I can do most Availabilities, I do have work throughout the week so will need a week or notice to confirm I’m available, I get my rotas 5 weeks in advance but can do mornings/evenings and can pop in to check on them even if I’m at work I am obsessed with my pets, never leave them alone, wether that’s playing, relaxing or walking them, I just enjoy their different personalities and company, I’m just a huge animal lover
“Faye came to look after our senior much loved spaniel and she was great. She was reliable and trustworthy, very caring and we felt very relaxed knowing she was looking after Lily. Thankyou Faye you are a star!!”
“Ottilie was great at communicating, both in the lead up to cat-sitting and during. She sent me regular pictures and updates of what she was doing and really helped me feel at ease while away.”
“Sophia is an excellent and very reliable sitter, we have used her twice and both times our cat has been well looked after and she's been really great at keeping in contact. Thank you Sophie x”

“Rowen looked after Basil while we were away for 2 nights. If we could give more than 5 stars we would. Care deserved 5 stars. Communication deserved 5 stars. Cake deserved 5 stars! We are considering hiding up in the loft and booking Rowen to look after Basil again, just for more cake. 😁 Seriously though, we would 100% recommend.”

About: I have 5 granddogs, 2 grandcats, 2 goddogs and numerous canine and cat nephews and nieces ( not blood of course, they are the furry kids of my friends). They’re family 😁 I work remotely as a geeky historical writer, so can be pretty much anywhere and what can be better than doing that whilst making new furry friends. I treat them as family, except when the sharing of food is the question. I don’t share food, just like my English goddog, Percy, doesn’t share his bone. With regard to communication - the number listed is now obsolete - my new number is Colombian because I live in Colombia for six months each year - Unfortunately Rover does not have a Colombia option. So best to email me or communicate through Rover.
“Paige looked after Sybil well and sent photos for us while we were away. Would rebook with her again as she seems to have a genuine warmth for animals and a trustworthy nature.”

“Amber was an absolutely wonderful cat sitter. She was very communicative and accommodating throughout. Our cat was quite stressed in our new house, and even though we only booked 30-minute visits, she stayed much longer to make sure he was calm and settled. She also helped with a few things we meant to take care of before leaving but forgot, which was a huge help. She kept everything tidy and cleaned up after the cat, so the house was in great shape when we came home. Truly went above and beyond. A fantastic sitter we’d happily recommend.”

About: Hi everyone I’m Emily and I’m the pawsome pet sitter. I have had cats all my life and I started looking after them for other people around 5 years ago. I have pet first aid/ cpr, can administer medication and have so much love for cats both young and old. I’m a student at open university meaning I can do 24 hour sits and am super flexible due to this meaning that if your pet needs extra care I can help. I only offer sitting in your home, but can guarantee you will return to a home that is clean and tidy, I am DBS ensured and have insurance with the ability to administer medications.
About: I've been caring for cats and dogs for the past 7 years and genuinely love being part of a pet's life. Over the years, I've looked after friends' cats and regularly cared for my parents' dog, giving me experience with different personalities, routines, and care needs. I understand that every pet is unique, and I take the responsibility of caring for someone else's beloved companion very seriously. My goal is always to make pets feel safe, comfortable, and happy while their owners are away. I offer house sitting, dog walking, and drop-in visits throughout Bath and Bristol. You can expect reliable care, regular updates, and plenty of photos so you can have peace of mind while you're away. I look forward to meeting you and your pets and providing the loving, attentive care they deserve! I work from home 3 days of the week so I can easily do house visits during the week - Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays! Whether this may be for playing, feeding or simply giving your little fur baby a little bit of company. I can also take your dog out for a walk during my lunch breaks and play tug of war (the real way to a dog’s heart)! I am also available weekends, I simply want to care for your pet in the best way possible :) As I live in a flat, I won’t be able to take care of your pets in my own home but I am more than happy to do house sits, check ins, and daily walks - whatever works best for you!
“Emily has been so great! Always keeps me posted and Missy seems to really like her. Emily is a natural as Missy NEVER sits for a pic for me but my updates from Emily, Missy is always posing so speaks volumes. Def made the right choice in having Emily visit Missy for me when I can’t. Really happy with the service from Emily and can’t rate her highly enough!”

About: We are a semi retired British couple who love animals and have been full time pet/house sitters since May 2022. We are vegetarian, non smoking, and enjoy yoga, walking and travel. Together we have run a holiday letting business in SW Wales for over 15 years as well as courses for people suffering with Chronic Fatigue/M.E and stress related conditions. All of our therapy and holiday property lettings work has moved online now so we can work remotely from anywhere. This has allowed us the freedom to be full time house/pet sitters and we are loving it! We stay at pet owners homes and very rarely leave pets alone - particularly dogs. Your home will be kept tidy and spotlessly clean at all times. We are DBS checked and insured. Numerous reviews (all 5*) available on request.
“Ash did a drop in visit to our 4 furbabies. This is the first time ever that we’ve had to leave our babies for quite a while so I left some lengthy instructions for Ash, all of which were followed to the “T” ash did a wonderful job and our babies were quite content when we got home. We have another 2 days booked in with Ash”

“Janie dropped in & fed our cat Bella over 4-5 days whist we were away, and she was fantastic! She messaged us each time she came with a report on how Bella was doing, & sent us lots of pictures too. Bella is quite a nervous cat, but Janie was able to get her to relax with her really quickly, and when we came home Bella seemed totally at ease & unconcerned that we’d been away. Absolutely brilliant, we’d definitely ask Janie to look after Bella again, and our dog Otis, if we aren’t taking him with us next time!”

About: I’ve been a 5 stars sitter for fur babies in trustedhousesitting all over the world after I lost my own dogs and cats. Thank you in advance for trusting and giving me the chance to enjoy the company with your beloved fur babies. I am semi retired lecturer and I only work a bit on my consultancy business so I can fit into any pets care to suit their own needs. I have a fenced garden so the fur babies will enjoy sunshine and outdoor activities with me in my small garden. There’s a lovely lane along the canal in front my house for the daily walking.

Wiltshire cat owners share their Rover experiences
We had the pleasure of having Hollie look after our cats over the weekend, and she was absolutely brilliant. From the start, we felt we were in safe hands. Hollie was warm, friendly, and clearly cared deeply about the well-being of our cats. She listened thoughtfully to our concerns and followed our instructions with care and professionalism. Even when access to our home was unexpectedly complicated by road closures due to the Melksham Carnival, she handled the situation calmly and resourcefully, making sure the cats were still well looked after. Hollie went above and beyond, and we wouldn’t hesitate to use her again. Highly recommended.
