“Ron had a fantastic time with Alyssa and Julian. As I had only recently adopted him, I was naturally a little anxious about leaving him, but I needn't have worried at all. They showed Ron so much care, kindness, and understanding, which helped him settle in quickly and enjoy his stay. Throughout the two weeks, I received plenty of photos and videos that reassured me he was happy and well cared for, allowing me to fully relax and enjoy my holiday. I would have no hesitation in asking Alyssa and Julian to look after Ron again in the future. Thank you both for taking such wonderful care of him.”

“Jane was fantastic with our dog Sheena. Sheena is a rescue so can be a little timid and takes time to settle but Jane showed great patience with her. The photo updates throughout her stay were great and helped to ease our minds that Sheena was more than happy and comfortable. Thank you, Jane :)”

About: I have had dogs all of my adult life (large and small). I'm also a registered veterinary nurse which means I'm experienced in all aspects of dog care. I work part time in a veterinary practice but my husband who is a massive dog lover is retired and is home every day. There is always someone home to be with the dogs. We enjoy walking together. I have a fenced off secure grass garden which your lovely dog will enjoy, I'm willing to crate your dog if required. Your dog will be very much a part of the family.
“We would highly recommend Claire. We felt very comfortable leaving our dog with her and her family for the first time. Claire took our dog on some lovely walks and sent regular updates/photos of him where he looked very happy! We’d definitely book again- thank you Claire!”

“Leaving Murphy with anyone other than family for the first time was a big step for us, so we were naturally quite apprehensive. We really needn’t have worried though, as Rich and his family were absolutely fantastic. From the moment we picked Murphy up, it was obvious he’d had a wonderful time. He was happy, relaxed, and clearly very well cared for, which gave us complete peace of mind. We wouldn’t hesitate to leave Murphy with Rich again and would wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone looking for someone kind, caring, and trustworthy to look after their dog. Thank you so much for taking such great care of our boy!”

“Petra and her family are just wonderful. They looked after bernie so well, she gave daily updates and pictures, he looked so happy. When we picked him up he was relaxed and happy. Would absolutely recommend and have already booked in again!!”

“Amelia and her family were brilliant again with our dogs -so thoughtful about them and brilliant to have photos of what they are up to. For the first time I feel I can really relax and not worry about them!”

“This was our first time using Rover and leaving our puppy with anyone. Diana and her husband quickly put our minds at rest on meeting, with their warm welcome. Their dog Coco is adorable and patient. Our puppy Toffee soon decided she loved their home and invited herself to Coco's toys and later on her bed! She enjoyed their company, the sofas, large garden and the surrounding fields for walks. Toffee had such an enjoyable holiday we got a brief welcome on our return before she went back to Diana and off to the toys and Coco again! We were absolutely delighted no separation anxiety. My only reluctance putting this review is Diana will get very busy and fully booked, as now we know where Toffee will happily stay when we go away again 😁 Thanks so much for all the care and photo updates throughout the stay. It has meant the world to us that our precious Toffee was in safe hands 💜”

“Sophie did an amazing job looking after Taz. Throughout his stay, we received regular updates and plenty of lovely pictures, which kept us well informed about how he was getting on. This gave us great peace of mind and allowed us to relax, knowing that Taz was in such good hands. When we brought Taz home, he was incredibly relaxed and clearly very well cared for, which really showed how happy and comfortable he had been during his stay. We would 100% recommend Sophie’s services and wouldn’t hesitate to use her again. Thank you so much for taking such great care of Taz.”

“Our lovely Springer Jaz enjoyed a week with Jenny and Harry while we were on holiday. She was very well looked after and Jenny updated us with photos of her making herself at home in Harry’s bed! Also out and about on their walks and meeting up the “biscuit lady”! We were really happy with the service Jenny provided and would not hesitate to recommend her for future stays.”

“Catherine was amazing with Nacho and he had a really lovely time! She sent regular updates of his stay and he always looked happy, he had a great time on his walks and socialising with other dogs. Would highly recommend!”

“Highly recommend Ashley, our dog stayed while we went on a long holiday and he was really well looked after and we got regular updates. A home away from home for him , thank you”

About: I grew up with dogs and have always loved caring for them. I now have a 20-month-old cocker spaniel who I’ve had since he was a puppy. He’s unneutered but very friendly, well-socialised and used to meeting other dogs on walks. I’m experienced with day care, routines, feeding, walks and providing calm, attentive home care “I run my own business from home, so I’m around most of the day and able to give dogs plenty of attention and supervision. My schedule is flexible, with only the occasional day in London. I walk my own dog twice daily and can easily fit additional walks, playtime and care into my routine. I have a large, secure garden and a spacious home where dogs are treated as part of the family. Pets are welcome on the furniture and are always supervised. I’m based near lots of lovely local walks and follow each dog’s usual routine to help them feel settled, safe and at home. I’m best suited to dogs who are dog-friendly and comfortable sharing a home with my cocker spaniel.
“Lenny had a lovely stay with Carly and Dolly! Not having stayed with new sitters often, Len settled in really well with them, with nice walks and a welcoming home. Carly was great with updates and flexible with drop off/pick ups. Thank you so much!”

“Michelle is amazing with the dogs in her care and you need not worry that they won't be treated the same as at home. Tillie stayed a week with Michelle, we had a meet up before booking which was really helpful. Tillie settled quickly, we received regular pictures and video updates showing her resting and out on walks she has come home very happy and obviously well cared for, we would not hesitate to leave Tillie with you again, Thankyou so much. 😊”

“Connie had a wonderful time with Diane - we had frequent updates and videos. It was a hot weekend when Connie stayed and Diane did all she could to keep Connie cool especially as she’s an older dog now. We’ll definitely be booking again! Thanks Diane for looking after our girl 🐶🐶”

“Nicole was amazing. She stepped in at last minute to look after my little dog Bea. Bea enjoyed playtimes and had an awesome stay with the family, I had lovely picture updates and returned to a very happy girl. Thank you to Nicole and Imogen for spoiling her x”

“Fay is an incredible caregiver for my two kitties. Every time I come home, they are in good spirits and well taken care of. I really enjoy her updates and the photos and videos of the babies when I'm gone. I highly recommend Fay!”

About: I’ve grown up around cats and have experience caring for cats of all ages and personalities. Whether your cat is playful, shy, or enjoys plenty of fuss, I’ll make sure they receive the care, attention, and routine they’re used to. I provide feeding, fresh water, litter tray cleaning, playtime, cuddles (if they want them!), and regular updates so you can relax knowing your cat is happy and well looked after while you’re away.

“Richard was a perfect choice for drop-in visits for Rascal, particularly with his experience of re-homing stray and rescue cats, as he knows the vagaries of character and the nervous behaviour that can be shown. I felt very assured as soon as I met Richard, that all would be well whilst I was away. It was really nice to see photos of Rascal and to be reassured that he was coping with the change of person administering his daily routine and that all was well. Everything was neat and tidy and cleared away on my return. I would certainly recommend Richard for all pet duties, and I will be booking again in the future.”

“I was nervous at first to leave my kitten, but Beth made us feel so much calmer knowing she would be in good hands. Beth gave us updates throughout the visit with pictures of Lily looking very happy, playing, eating and napping. Beth is very kind and gentle with Lily and we can tell Lily had a great time as she was looking for Beth once the visit had ended. We’re looking forward to the next visit.”

“Sophie was a brilliant cat sitter, she was able to come in at very short notice, was really great at communicating with us and our cat was happy and looked after while we were away. Thanks Sophie!”

About: I have had a cat for 6 years and have looked after cats for many family members and friends. I will be available for cat sitting or for dropping in to feed and fuss your pet cat☺️ No professional experience.
About: I have been around animals literally my entire life! I grew up with dogs cats guinea pigs and horses! All of our family dogs including the dog I have now have been rescues so I am used to dealing with dogs who are more nervous or out of the 'norm'. I am also used to looking after senior dogs as my childhood dog Vera had dementia (who knew this was a thing in dogs!?) And she only had 1 eye for the last year of her life. I am currently working part time so I have lots of free time to check in on your pets/feed/give medication or take them for a walk. I drive and have my own car. Unfortunately my Romania rescue dogs in nervous of other dogs so I would only be able to walk your dog solo. Happy to just do a check in on your pets, let out for toilet etc or take out for a walk in our lovely countryside:)

I’m experienced in caring for , adult cats, and older cats, and I’m happy to follow your cat’s usual routine to help them feel settled while you’re away. “Once again Victoria helped us out feeding Bella our cat whilst we were away. Always reliable, and although Bella is a nervous cat, she seems to be very relaxed with Victoria... thank you!”

“Before booking Emily we met to introduce her to my Phoebe and within minutes Phoebe came in to meet her, and allowed Emily to stroke her, which was a revelation for me given how Phoebe is so timid and nervous with new people in our house. I knew right then Emily was the right person to be responsible for my girls care whilst away on business. Emily was punctual and reassured me Phoebe was ok with pictures during the booking. Emily is a professional young lady who is polite and caring and is just one of those people who just clicked with me and my girl which was great for me. I will definitely book her again soon.”

About: My husband and I have our own dog, Monty who is an adorable and energetic 1 year old cockapoo. I have grown up with dogs all my life, from golden retrievers to labs, and many more with family and friends. I have experience with both puppies and older dogs, I have also had dogs with health conditions who required medication, so could distribute medication if required, depending on the type. My husband, Julian, will also help to look after any dogs who stay with us, but I will be the primary caregiver as I'm home all day. I work full time from home and my husband is a handyman so is in and out of the house. We typically walk Monty a couple of times a day if we do shorter walks, or if the weather permits we take him on a long, off lead walk around a large field once a day, with regular potty breaks. We have a decent sized garden and also have a green space out front for any dogs who don't like pooping in a garden (Monty doesn't 😂). As we already have a dog, having another would fit nicely into our existing routine. We have a 3 bedroom house with a secure, fenced garden that is free from anything that could harm a dog. We live nearby to many open green spaces as well and will happily walk your dog on or off lead, according to your preference. I am home during the day and pets will not be left alone without either myself or my husband here.

“This was the first time I had booked David and it worked out fantastically ! David was able to help at short notice and was nice and local to me. When we arrived Rosie was keen to get through the door before it was even opened! Once in she was instantly settled , it was like she was at home . David was very friendly and reassuring and Rosie was spoilt rotten. Lovely walks and treats . Apparently Rosie stayed by David’s side all day. I would definitely recommend David and would send Rosie to him again .”

About: I’ve been looking after dogs since I was 15 and have experience with all kinds of personalities, from energetic puppies to nervous rescue dogs who just need a bit of patience and reassurance. I also have an A-Level in Animal Management and Veterinary Care, so caring for animals has always been something I’m passionate about. I’m experienced in administering medication, sticking to feeding schedules, and keeping up with any training or routines your dog is used to. I know how important consistency is, especially when they’re away from home, and I’ll always do my best to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I work from home, so your dog will rarely be left alone and will have plenty of company throughout the day. Whether they enjoy long walks, playing in the garden, or simply curling up for a nap, I’ll make sure they get the care and attention they need. We have a fully enclosed garden with no through traffic, giving dogs a secure space to explore and play. I also have my elderly guinea pig, Lola, who enjoys watching the world go by from her secure enclosure and is used to other animals being around. I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone else, so I’ll always care for them as if they were my own. I’m happy to provide regular updates and photos during their stay, so you can relax knowing they’re in safe hands. I work from home so I am always around. I will be able to provide my full attention to any animals I am looking after. I work from home so during the day your pet will never be left alone. My home is kept clean and risk free. I have a fenced in garden but your pet will never be left unsupervised outside. I enjoy walking so it’s completely dependent on your animals exercise needs but i’m happy to walk for hours if they need to.
“Pepper had a wonderful time with Claire, home from home. Photos sent regularly through the day. Claire is so warm and affectionate with Pepper & Pepper had a fabulous day.”

“Fay did a brilliant job of looking after our two dogs for the day. They aren't the quickest to settle down with new people but Fay kept us updated and they were both very relaxed when we picked them up. She went out of her way to provide a paddling pool in the hot weather and really knows what she is doing when it comes to dog care. I highly recommend!”

About: I’ve grown up around animals. I used to work at an animal shelter taking care of cats and dogs. I currently have a dog named Nash who is almost 7 and loves to play and go on adventures. I work from home Mon-Fri most weeks. I take our dog out every morning at 7am for an hour long walk and then again at lunchtime for 30 minute “sniff Safari” and again after work. Your dog will be apart of the family for however long they are with us, with cuddles, toys and a play mate. I have a fenced in yard with plenty of grass and a furry friend for your dog to play with. We also are lucky enough to have great walking paths at our doorstep.
About: I grew up with dogs and I've had rescue dogs for most of life, unfortunately my last fur baby died a year ago. I will be getting another dog but not until next year, in the meantime I would love to take care of your babies like they were my own. I retired 2 years ago and I have lots of free time, I'm looking to help other people with their fur babies. I can be flexible and your precious pets would not be left for long periods. I love caring for dogs in every stage of their life whether it’s a brand new puppy or an OAPooch. Working from home on flexible hours, I will be able to spend lots of time with your beloved pooch in between riding and caring for my horse, my own dog Maggie & my sons. About: I have always had a passion for Animals. Even as a small child I was fascinated by animals of any type. At one point I had 3 dogs a cat and a hampster. In fact I refused to go to the dentist unless I had another pet!! 😂 Since then my passion for animals has grown. 15 years ago I decided that I would like to become a dog groomer. I have been doing this ever since and still love it. Since my Family are all grown up and flown the nest I decided it would be nice to do pet sitting as well which I enjoy very much. My beautiful dog Poppy was put to sleep 2 years ago and since then I have decided not to have another pet of my own for now. I get the enjoyment of looking after other people’s. I hope you will consider me to look after your precious pets. I can assure you I will love them like they are my own.. x I have recently become unemployed so I have found myself with a lot of free time and what better thing to do then spend my time with your gorgeous pets. It’s my passion and the thing that makes me the happiest. I would love the opportunity to look after your pets. I can assure you they will be well cared for and loved like they are my own. So I live in a 2 bedroom apartment. I don’t have a garden but I do have a lovely outdoor balcony. A perfect space for your dog to chill and lap up the sunshine. My surrounding area is mainly fields and beautiful walks just outside my door. I love to walk and will happily walk your dog as requested. I am not precious about my home and if you are happy for them to sleep on the sofa then so am i. I want your pet to feel at home. I am also happy to look after your pets in your home. I know how important this can be for some dogs especially if they suffer with anxiety. Being in the comfort of their own home is usually the best solution for them. I am very flexible and happy to fit in with your pets requirements.
“First time we have used Rover and really delighted we found Tom & Helen. Great communication, clearly very experienced with dogs and made us very confident about their care. Hope Magnus gets to visit them again soon.”

About: I've had dogs basically my whole memorable life and currently have two, a rescue golden retriever, show line and a goldador puppy, working line. I am currently working part-time with Thursdays free in the week (subject to change). I am also available most mornings for early walks and most evenings, too. My weekend availability depends on other work and family commitments. I’ll always make sure dogs are safe, happy and comfortable while they’re with me. I know every dog is different, so I’ll take the time to understand their usual routine, walking style and any specific needs they may have. During walks, dogs will always be kept safe and closely supervised, with plenty of exercise, attention and water when needed. I’ll only let dogs off lead if the owner is completely happy for me to do so and it’s a safe area. I’m reliable, friendly and genuinely enjoy spending time with dogs, and I’ll always treat them as if they were my own. I’m also happy to send updates and photos during walks for extra peace of mind.
“YaLing took amazing care of our dog Milla who can be anxious in new environments and bark a lot. We were kept updated regularly and Milla seemed to really settle in and relax after a little while. Would definitely recommend!”

I also have my elderly guinea pig, Lola, who enjoys watching the world go by from her secure enclosure and is used to other animals being around. About: I've been around dogs for most of my life and have owned two wonderful Labrador Retrievers since I was 8 years old. Growing up with them has given me plenty of hands-on experience with everything from daily walks and feeding routines to playtime, training, and making sure they're happy and well cared for. Anyone who knows me will tell you I'm the biggest dog lover in our friendship group! I absolutely adore dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities, and I genuinely enjoy spending time with them. Whether your dog is small or large, energetic or more relaxed, I'll make sure they receive the care, attention, and affection they deserve. One of the great benefits I can offer is that I work in a dog-friendly office, so if appropriate for your dog, they'll be able to come with me during the day rather than being left at home. They'll enjoy a sociable environment with plenty of company, attention, and opportunities for interaction throughout the day. I work Monday to Friday, but your dog's care will always be my priority. If your dog is sociable and you're happy for them to do so, they're very welcome to join me at my dog-friendly office, where they'll enjoy plenty of company and attention throughout the day. If your dog would be happier at home, I'll come home during my lunch break (12:00–1:00 pm) to take them for a walk, spend quality time with them, and make sure they have lots of fuss and attention before I head back to work. I'll then be home by around 4:15 pm at the latest for the rest of the evening. Dogs staying with me will enjoy walks in the morning, at lunchtime, and in the evening if that's what suits their exercise needs. Every dog is different, so I'll always tailor their routine to what they're used to and what makes them happiest. In the evenings, my partner Alex and I are both at home, so there'll be plenty of playtime, cuddles, enrichment, and quality time to help your dog feel settled and loved. I live in a spacious first-floor, two-bedroom, two-bathroom open-plan apartment, providing plenty of room for dogs to relax, play, and feel at home. I understand that every dog has different needs and routines, so I'm happy to accommodate your preferences. If your dog is crate-trained and you would like them crated for sleeping or when appropriate, I'm more than happy to do so. Our home is calm and quiet, with no children and no other pets, making it an ideal environment for dogs who enjoy a peaceful space or prefer being the only pet in the home. I'll always follow your instructions to help keep your dog comfortable, happy, and feeling secure throughout their stay.
