About: My husband and I have our own dog, Monty who is an adorable and energetic 1 year old cockapoo. I have grown up with dogs all my life, from golden retrievers to labs, and many more with family and friends. I have experience with both puppies and older dogs, I have also had dogs with health conditions who required medication, so could distribute medication if required, depending on the type. My husband, Julian, will also help to look after any dogs who stay with us, but I will be the primary caregiver as I'm home all day. I work full time from home and my husband is a handyman so is in and out of the house. We typically walk Monty a couple of times a day if we do shorter walks, or if the weather permits we take him on a long, off lead walk around a large field once a day, with regular potty breaks. We have a decent sized garden and also have a green space out front for any dogs who don't like pooping in a garden (Monty doesn't 😂). As we already have a dog, having another would fit nicely into our existing routine. We have a 3 bedroom house with a secure, fenced garden that is free from anything that could harm a dog. We live nearby to many open green spaces as well and will happily walk your dog on or off lead, according to your preference. I am home during the day and pets will not be left alone without either myself or my husband here.
“Pepper had a wonderful time with Claire, home from home. Photos sent regularly through the day. Claire is so warm and affectionate with Pepper & Pepper had a fabulous day.”

I have a small fenced garden with grass and fabulous walks on my doorstep. Happy to cater to every dogs individual needs. I have transport.

About: I’ve grown up around animals. I used to work at an animal shelter taking care of cats and dogs. I currently have a dog named Nash who is almost 7 and loves to play and go on adventures. I work from home Mon-Fri most weeks. I take our dog out every morning at 7am for an hour long walk and then again at lunchtime for 30 minute “sniff Safari” and again after work. Your dog will be apart of the family for however long they are with us, with cuddles, toys and a play mate. I have a fenced in yard with plenty of grass and a furry friend for your dog to play with. We also are lucky enough to have great walking paths at our doorstep.
“Fay did a brilliant job of looking after our two dogs for the day. They aren't the quickest to settle down with new people but Fay kept us updated and they were both very relaxed when we picked them up. She went out of her way to provide a paddling pool in the hot weather and really knows what she is doing when it comes to dog care. I highly recommend!”

“Tali, our golden doodle ‘toddler, had a lovely day with Bay. She had walks, played with toys, and had sleepy time. Bay was an excellent communicator, replying promptly to queries and posting photos of Tali at her home and out walking to set our minds at ease. I would definitely recommend Bay for doggy day care :-)”

“Amber is an incredible dog sitter! She clearly has an extremely strong understanding of rescue dogs, and exactly the kind of patience and support they need. Amber was friendly, professional and warm not only with our dog but with us as people. She was particularly thoughtful and mindful when it came to reassuring our worries about leaving out pup with someone new. I would highly recommend Amber!”

“First time we have used Rover and really delighted we found Tom & Helen. Great communication, clearly very experienced with dogs and made us very confident about their care. Hope Magnus gets to visit them again soon.”

“As soon as I met Katherine, my mind was put at ease and she was so welcoming and lovely. I felt so comfortable leaving Milo at Katherine’s. She sent me regular texts and photos which means so much to be able to see how Milo was during the day and how he was doing. Katherine also went on a good length walk with Milo. Great location too as near to the downs and the village. Would 100% recommend Katherine and Milo hopes hope to see her again soon 🐶”

“Nicole ci ha messo subito a nostro agio, fin dalla prima comunicazione, per noi era la prima volta che utilizzavamo questo servizio, per di più in un paese straniero. É andato tutto molto bene, ho ricevuto informazioni durante la giornata e, quando sono andato a prendere il mio cane, ho visto come haggis ha salutato Nicole, non mi serve altro per sapere che sia stato trattato benissimo. Di sicuro terrò in considerazione Nicole se dovessi tornare da queste parti!”

There are 1,509 sitters on Rover for Doggy Day Care in Wiltshire. About 87% of Wiltshire sitters can respond to requests in under 60 minutes. Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later collection to match your Wiltshire commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust collection and drop-off times when needed.
Your dog’s first day care experience is a big milestone! To help your pup settle in comfortably, we recommend:
- Food and treats portioned for the day, with feeding instructions
- Your dog's lead and collar (ensure tags are up-to-date)
- Any seasonal gear, such as paw-safe wax for winter or a cooling vest for the summer
- Medication, if applicable, with clear dosage notes
- Any special care instructions or training tips to help your sitter provide the most personalised care possible
Tip: Upload this information directly through the Rover app before drop-off. The more context you provide, the better your sitter can tailor the day to your dog.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog's vaccines is the best way to be 'boarding ready'. Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Sitters in South West England may request that your dog be up-to-date on core vaccines, such as Canine Distemper, Canine Parvovirus, Canine Adenovirus (also known as DHP or DHPPi), Leptospirosis and Kennel Cough. Cats may be required to have Feline Panleucopenia Virus, Feline Herpesvirus, Feline Calicivirus, and Feline Leukaemia Virus up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poo breaks occured. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available for dedicated customer support by email or chat if you have concerns.
The personalised, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.

Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page .

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee. Read more about our requirement for following local licensing requirements .
