“Katherine is absolutely phenomenal! From the moment she stepped in, Leo was instantly at ease which says a lot, considering how picky he can be. She is incredibly attentive, reliable, and clearly have a genuine love for animals. Daily updates, adorable photos, and thoughtful care made us feel completely confident and relaxed while we were away.”

“Victoria did an amazing job looking after my cat. Quinn is an anxious cat who tends to hide from people but she warmed up to Victoria while she was visiting. Even allowing her a pet or two. Would definitely recommend.”

“Jade and Pete looked after our two energetic dogs superbly well. They came to the house twice, walked them in the field and kept them company whilst we were away. Jade left us messages to say all was well. Everything went to plan and the dogs obviously had a very good time. We could not have been better reassured by the updates and photos! We would highly recommend Jade and Pete as excellent and very trustworthy dog sitters. We will definitely ask them to help us with the dogs in future. A very big thank you to them both.”

“Will clearly has a passion for animals, our boy Neil could not have been in better care for our time away. Will went above and beyond, he provided us daily updates, did a few extra visits for us and we could tell he genuinely cared about Neil. I would thoroughly recommend Will to everyone, Neil loved spending time with him!”

“Booked Zoe last minute for two drop-in visits having only been able to send her an instruction video and I thought everything went really well. My instructions were followed and I got regular updates and pictures. Would definitely recommend! Pierre”

“Jacqueline has been amazing looking after my cats on multiple occasions. She goes over and above what is expected & I know I am coming back to a house that’s in order & happy cats when we use her 😊 communication is really efficient as well. Would highly recommend! We will be using again next time we go away without a doubt.”

“Fantastic service from Georgia-Mary who looked after my 4 month old puppy for three hours. This is the first time I've used Rover. Georgia-Mary was quick to reply to messages and lovely in person. I had no worries leaving Georgia-Mary with my puppy, who took to her straight away and was super happy and relaxed when I returned. I'd definitely recommend Georgia-Mary and will be booking her again 😊”

“Megan is a caring and passionate person. She went above and beyond looking after my 3 kitties 😸 she played with and took time to win mango over. Highly recommend Thank you so much.”

“So grateful to Hazel! First time leaving Milo home for so long and him being a nervous cat we were worried about how he'd manage but Hazel was very lovely and professional, she always made me feel reassured Milo was in good hands. Kept me updated everyday with a message and photos! Will definitely contact Hazel again for next time! Thank you! ”

“Excellent care and attention was paid to my 3 diverse cats. Cannot fault Alexandra B,s communication to me on their interaction with her. Would opt for her at any point in the future. 👍”

About: I have been around dogs and cats my whole life always having them within the family ( I currently have two dogs). My mum used to do dog boarding at home so I have experience helping to care for up to 6 dogs at one time and I love it! I also understand the importance of all dogs requiring different needs and am able to cater for this ( experience of 7 years being since the age of 18). I am currently working full time Monday to Friday however as I work from home I have the flexibility of caring for your pet from the comfort of their home during the week and then I have flexibility for any time at weekends. I also can offer dog walks mornings and evenings if it is not dark and during the day on weekends. I will go above and beyond to ensure your pet feels safe and comfortable in my presence whether that be smothering them with attention or giving them their space and slowly building the trust ( even if that is through treat bribery🫣). I will always give them the attention they deserve and ensure they have either a fun or rested time- whichever they prefer!
“Arran and Iona will be happy to see Khaley again - 2 very happy and relaxed mogs, more pictures than we can shake a stick at, and thanks so much for the other little touches! Khaley’s excellent!”

About: Hello there, I’m Anne and based in Wiltshire (a little town called Ludgershall). I have been petsitting from the age of 15, at the time it used to be one of these jobs you would do to get a little money as a student. However, now it has indeed become more of a serious job and I’m actually glad it has ! This is why I’m currently working on my DWSA Certificate w/ the British College of Canine Studies which would include first aid training. I grew up in South America, I’m originally more of an exotic animal kind of person but after moving to Europe at the age of 16, I found myself loving all animals! I have worked for different charities in different countries like the Brigitte Bardot Foundation and when I was 20, I also worked against the illegal animal trade until my departure to England in 2016. During this time, I rescued most of my pets and filled my family and friends with the animals they still have today. I am now over 30 years old and have had probably all sorts of animals under my care and continue my route looking after them accompanied by my young daughter as I wish her to grow surrounded by animals like I did so she can learn the compassion and respect all beings deserve. We’re a quiet family living in the quiet country side and my husband and mum love to participate in the care of any of our protégés too, we’re even thinking of making it a family business in the future ! We own a chihuahua and a staffy as well as smaller enclosed pets, live in a 3 beds house with a fairly large garden. Unfortunately, my old chihuahua has developed some heart issues last year so we’re not taking in medium/large breeds home anymore but are still able to accommodate smaller dogs or others animals. I’m also always happy to walk/visit/petsit when people get the trust to leave me with their pets/homes. Anne I am home most of the time but when I’m not my husband or mum is. I work with my chihuahua and our staffy stays at home, they both go on at least 1 hour walk a day & have always access to our garden. Everything is organised around the pets as we have always had pets. If I have to stay at someone's place to pet-sit, my husband takes over with our own pets but we do always work as a team. My home has always been safe for kids and animals as I've always had pets and one of my dog is very small. We have a large enclosed garden and a lot of green areas around the house. I do prefer going to the pets' homes when possible as this way, I know the animal is less confused with a new home and strangers.
About: Please note: as I am currently pregnant, I’ll be reducing my availability. Bookings will be considered on a case-by-case basis depending on length and individual needs. Thank you for your understanding 🤍 Growing up in a household filled with a variety of pets, including dogs, cats, mice, hamsters, and reptiles, I developed a love and understanding of animals from a young age. This led me to pursue a Level 3 Extended Diploma in Animal Management at college, where I expanded my skills and knowledge in animal care. During the summers between college, I gained hands-on experience working at a local kennels and cattery, where I was responsible for the day-to-day care of numerous cats and dogs. In addition to my work at the kennels, I also spent time on a small holding, working closely with a diverse range of animals such as horses, pigs, goats, donkeys, and chickens. Currently, I am the proud owner of a family dog and a pet leopard gecko, continuing my lifelong journey of caring for and learning about animals. I am based in Andover but work full time in Stockbridge. I am available for overnight stays, morning and evening walks/drop ins. Overnight stays can be any day of the week but I will have to be in the office between 9-5. If needed, we are a dog friendly office and any doggos would be welcome to come for the day. I am a responsible and trustworthy individual who always has the pets best interest at heart. I am respectful of other peoples homes and understand that a pet is a member of the family

I adore German shephards and spent a decade enjoying time working with my own and a pack. I am independent and enjoy traveling and supporting/ providing animal care where i can. I understand the value of our animals. I study personal training and nutrition along side dog care. I am a huge advocate for health and well being. About: Hi, my name is Taeya, I am a student of ecology and wildlife conservation at the University of Reading. I have always loved and cared for animals, whether they are pets or wild ones. Having family pets has meant I have developed a great attention for what our furry friends need for a happy and healthy life. I have lived in the countryside most of my life, and I love spending time outdoors, on walks and explorations. Previous jobs, such as dog/cat/house sitting, early years education, and caring for older adults, have enabled me to develop excellent communication skills and an ease in dealing with messes and cleaning. I can be adaptable to all family needs, being a fast learner, I can quickly pick up skills or practices. Working with animals is always a joy, understanding the wonderful and different characters of all pets. I can provide private work references on request. I am a final year university student living at home with my family. I commute to and from Reading a few days a week in term time and study remotely otherwise. My schedule is very flexible and ever-changing. I have a good size fenced garden in the countryside, with 2 small and friendly dogs that are good company. Walks in the area can span from 30 minutes to 4 hours and more. There is also a dog walking park near where I live so that’s a great place to go if dogs need some time off the lead but also in a safe environment.
“Bethany was a perfect dog sitter, understanding and acting on a complicated and changing set of requests. Sybil was very happy with her and was given all the attention and care she needed.”

Cat owners share their Rover experiences - Andover
Katherine was super, and the Rover Card facility was fantastic. My cats quite clearly bonded with her and were wondering, albeit briefly, who we were on our return from an 11-day holiday! She was respectful of our wishes for whilst we were away and communication outside of the Rover Card was prompt. Highly recommend, Katherine!
What an absolute legend. Jade accommodated my request for a last minute booking and I’m so grateful. Jade is extremely tidy and followed a detailed meds plan with ease. The cats (Gertrude & Freya) both want to thank Jade too for being kind and gentle and looking after them whilst I was away on business. Don’t scroll by…..book Jade and know your animals are in safe hands.
