About: I live in Basingstoke with my family and have been in the UK since 2003, having grown up in South Africa. Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and I can’t imagine a home without pets in it. I share my home with one awesome little Jack Russell who is truly the centre of my heart and my family’s world. Growing up with pets has taught me how important they are as family members, not “just animals,” and I understand the love, patience, and care they deserve. I’m fortunate to work from home, which means I’m always around for my children and our fur baby. This also allows me to offer reliable, attentive care for other people’s precious companions. I have the time, availability, and genuine passion to help give pets the care, comfort, and attention they need while their owners are away. I work flexible hours from home and do the daily school run, but outside of that I’m available for pop-in visits, walks, daycare (at my home or yours), and overnight boarding — both during the week and at weekends. Pets in my care are treated as part of the family and looked after in a calm, safe, and loving environment. I live in a family home with children who are kind, gentle, and used to being around animals, as well as our friendly 1-year-old Jack Russell, who is well socialised and loves having company. All interactions are always supervised to ensure everyone feels comfortable and safe. In my home, pets are never left alone for long periods and their routines are kept as close as possible to what they’re used to, including feeding times, walks, play, and rest. My home is clean, secure, and pet-safe, with plenty of space for relaxation and play. About: I grew up with a big, silly Irish Red Setter who was truly part of the family. He set the bar for how fun, gentle and full of personality dogs can be and we still laugh about his antics today. In recent years I’ve looked after friends’ and family’s dogs while they’ve been away, making sure they’re fed, walked, played with and properly cared for. I absolutely love going on long walks, so having a four-legged pal to join me is always a joy. About: I’ve taken care of Dogs since I was 10 years old. I have lots of patience and I have taken care of pets for my aunts, grandmother and my own dogs. Back home, I had three Boerboels two Jack Russells and a German short haired pointer. I regularly bathed, walked and groomed my dogs. I have such a love for all animals. Dogs are so important because they’re a part of your family. I currently don’t have any other employment so I’ll be able to put my full attention into taking care of your pets to the best of my ability. Chantelle is absolutely amazing. She looked after my 3 cats and 4 guinea pigs. She handled all their feeding, litter cleaning, and medications. I was especially grateful for how she managed the guinea pigs during the heatwave, constantly changing ice packs and managing fans to keep them cool, alongside keeping up with the daily poo picking. Plus, the daily photos she sent were so good, better than any I’ve ever taken of them 😂 I couldn't have asked for a better pet sitter.
We had a great experience with Krizsta looking after our little female cat. She was very attentive and punctual, ensuring our cat builds a bond with her beforehand, making sure she had everything she needed and even going an extra mile by asking us to let her know if the cat needed anything else. When we came back from our holiday, our cat seemed very happy and well looked after, so we would definitely book her again.
First time getting someone to look after our cats and was a bit of a last minute booking so very appreciative of Megan for helping us out.
