They can be an overwhelming combination so a calm atmosphere with plenty of cuddles is a home from home for them. James sent lots of photos so that we could relax and enjoy our weekend on hols and our dogs bonded with Bailey straight away. Carson the Lab even got a good brush - he sheds like you wouldn't believe - and both boys came home happy and relaxed. Our Cockerpoo is a Covid pup and my little shadow whilst I work at home so he in particular needs lots of doggo-time. We will definitely be booking with James again!”

Meet Chamcham & Our Dog-Friendly Home I am a proud parent of Chamcham, my friendly, playful, and neutered 1.5-year-old Cockapoo (10 kg). I raised Chamcham from an 8-week-old puppy using positive reinforcement, lots of treats, and unconditional love. I also had a rescue dog named Caramel, who had a timid past. Through patience and care, I helped him overcome his anxieties before he peacefully passed away from old age. These experiences taught me that every dog is unique and deserves a tailored approach. Daily Routine & Comfort Spacious & Safe: I have a fully fenced, secure garden. When the weather is nice, the garden door is kept open for free play; otherwise, I listen closely to our dogs' cues when they need a potty break. Active Days: I am a teacher, and during the summer break, I have plenty of time to dedicate to my furry guests! We take walks at least twice a day (morning and evening), with extra outings or midday strolls whenever needed. Home Comforts: Dogs are welcome on all furniture in my home to lounge and relax! About: We’re lifelong dog lovers that can’t wait to give your pup as much love as possible. We currently have a cocker spaniel x dachshund of our own that we’ve raised from a puppy, so we understand the patience, consistency, and care it takes to support them through every stage of life. On top of that, my partner (Grace) grew up with dogs so she has been surrounded by wagging tails and wet noses for as long as she can remember. Over the years, we’ve learned a lot about dog behavior, body language, and the importance of positive reinforcement. This knowledge has been incredibly helpful not just with our own dog, but also when caring for other people’s pets, whether its giving energetic pups an outlet, or sticking to training routines we’re happy to help. We know how important it is to keep dogs on their own schedule and in line with the habits they’re used to, so we’re happy to follow any training, feeding, walking, or play requirements you have in place. For us, dogs are part of our family. Our goal is to give your pet a safe, loving, and fun experience every time they’re with us so you can have peace of mind knowing they’re in great hands. Grace works full time from home with the odd day in the office but Tom works from home when Grace is in the office so there is always someone at home. We have a small fenced garden to keep your puppy safe, and as we mentioned before we have a dog of our own so walks and playtime are already in our routine. Our pup loves to snuggle up in the evenings so we would love for yours to join us too.

We particularly liked the narrative and photos that Eliot sent us daily as it reassured us that Ffinn was doing well. My dog loves Alicia and could tell he is very comfortable around her and in her house, he would always want to go in whenever we go past hers on our walk. He feels at home at Alicia’s and would always runs straight upstairs when I drop him off. Alicia keeps me updated on how my dog is doing and share pictures when the day is finished which I always look forward to. She is our favourite Dogsitter in the area 💯

Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorisation form for your regular vet. An authorisation form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee.
