We both work part time from home so there is always someone in the house and around. The kids will be in school during school times so around most of the time. We already have our dog so we don't go on long trips without him and wouldn't anyway when looking after other animals.

In our home, it would very much depend on what your dog(s) need. We are pretty adaptable and can move things around to suit. We have a routine of sorts with our dog Bailey around feeding and walking but some things are more flexible. Our house has some green areas around as I like to get some off lead time with Bailey when we go on walks - this can all be discussed. Bailey has his bed and you can obviously bring your dogs bed. The bed is somewhere that a dog can go if they want peace and quiet which will be respected. Obviously there are a million and other things that you may want to know! I am very happy for any questions.

Information James S. would like to know about your pet
I am pretty happy with what a dog is in general. Please let me what is unique about yours! In particular meal habits, walking habits, any medical needs and 'rituals' (for example, our dog has his collar taken off and a bonio before bed).
A typical day
In a typical day our dog usually gives me a 'kiss' in the morning (usually after the kids have already jumped on the bed to wake us up!) to hassle us up for his breakfast! Sometimes we do a little morning walk - possibly go on the school run and then an extra loop through the woods to have some morning exercise. We have a dog park nearby where all the dog walkers go if we fancy a social time. One of our specialties is we do love doing things that we call 'snuffle boxes' which are empty cardboard boxes with some recyclables such as toilet loo tubes and a few small treats that the dogs can sniff out. In the evenings we do like a ritual of getting the dogs settled in there beds - possibly with a treat - and a good night stroke.

Pet care experience
My wife Livia and I have had dogs for our whole life, ever since we were kids. I am always any new dogs best friend and Livia understands them to such a deep level. We both love dogs and treat them as a member of the family. Our old dog Bailey (11) is also co-parent to our two kids (8 and 5) and they have grown up with a love for animals. Together we all love going on adventures! We feel absolutely confident we can help look after your furry friends. Honestly, we would want your dog to have a nice time with us and help you feel that they are being looked after as they should be.
Reviews

Highly recommended! My two boys are a boisterous pair (Lab and Cockerpoo) who need space, attention and lots of activity which is exactly what they received with James and his family. They can be an overwhelming combination so a calm atmosphere with plenty of cuddles is a home from home for them. James sent lots of photos so that we could relax and enjoy our weekend on hols and our dogs bonded with Bailey straight away. Carson the Lab even got a good brush - he sheds like you wouldn't believe - and both boys came home happy and relaxed. Our Cockerpoo is a Covid pup and my little shadow whilst I work at home so he in particular needs lots of doggo-time. We will definitely be booking with James again!

James and his family are great with Daisy. She settles well there and looks really relaxed in the photos that James has sent us. James is very easy to communicate with and will happily book him again

James took wonderful care of our little Frenchie for two nights. Clearly a nice family environment who take dogs in with love and inclusion in home life. Much appreciated and recommend.
Thank you to James and family for taking care of Teddy this weekend he appears to have enjoyed himself! Also he came back having been brushed! He will be looking forward to his next visit I think he misses his new friends.
