From Walkies to Cuddles
I’ve grown up surrounded by dogs and can’t imagine life without them. Over the years, I’ve cared for dogs of all ages and personalities, from excitable puppies to senior dogs, big breeds to tiny lap dogs. I’ve helped train puppies with walking nicely and basic commands, administered medications, provided mental stimulation through games and activities, and even bathed dogs to keep them clean and comfortable. Neighbours, friends, and people in nearby villages have relied on me for years to do drop-ins, overnight stays, and walks, and I genuinely love every moment of it. I recently lost my childhood dog, who was truly my best friend, and now that I’ve moved out, I really miss having dogs around. This makes me extra committed to giving your pets the same love, patience, and attention I gave my own. Whether it’s energetic play, long walks, or cozy cuddles, I’ll make sure they feel safe, happy, and cared for while you’re away. 🐕

Esme did an excellent job looking after Ivy. She was very communicative and laid-back, and Ivy had the best time playing 🐶

Esme was great looking after our precious little miniature pinscher overnight. They seemed to love each other and enjoy each others company.
Highly recommend using Esme for drop ins, my springer spaniel is super nervous of anyone new coming to the house but having had a meet and greet a week before the drop in, she was fine. Esme played with both my dogs in the garden, kept me updated and even sent a couple of photos. Communication was excellent.

Schedule
I work shifts, some weeks I finish at 2pm, others at 4pm, with early finishes on Fridays. I live just 5 minutes from work, so I’m able to do drop-ins or check-ins in the nearby area during the day. I also have full availability on weekends and during afternoons and evenings on weekdays and possibly early mornings on weekdays, making it easy to fit around your pets’ needs.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a secure garden for your dog to play safely, they can go in and out and pets are allowed on the furniture:) I can easily crate them if that is what they usually require. I also have experience caring for indoor cats, making sure they feel comfortable and safe. I follow all instructions carefully, provide plenty of attention, exercise, and mental stimulation, and treat every pet as if they were my own. 🐾
Pets
A typical day
I love keeping pets both physically and mentally stimulated. I take my dog (and others I car for) to the nearby woods, lakes, fields and on little hikes, exploring new villages and countryside areas while trying new activities. Near my home, there are lots of parks, wooded areas, and fields to enjoy, and I’m happy to travel if they’d like to visit new places. I also love brain games, like hiding treats or toys for them to find, and of course, there’s always time for cuddles and relaxing together.
